She is really nice and helpful. She knows her government. She does all her lectures on power point, then puts them up on her website. She also has a fun southern accent.

Very good professor. It was evident that she really cares about her students. It seemed like an easy class to me, but others might not agree. She works really hard to help you understand the material. She even held workshops for those who needed help with essays. Great teacher. Highly recommended.

Take notes, use her study guides for test, and you'll get an A. No matter what you think of Political Science when you first start the class you'll want to major in it when your done.

Love this woman! She seriously is one of the best teachers that I have ever taken! Political Science was such a bore before her class and now I actually pay some attention to the world around me. This is a really easy class, and also a very helpful one. This teacher is great, you get to use cheat sheet on test and its and open book open notes final!!!! Even though you get to use cheat sheet and notes, you will still learn a lot, because she is a great teacher.

Political Science seemed like a total bore to me and I was dreading the fact that I had to take this to transfer... Not anymore!! Jen is great!! She'll bend over backwards to help you. You can use cheat sheets and our final is open book. I learned a lot about our government and politics, it was really interesting... things you always wanted to know

OMG! She's an amazing teacher! Very enthusiastic, she makes Poli Sci interesting. Her FINAL is open book, notes everything. She gives extra credit assignments. Her test are not very hard nor easy. she's a really fun teacher. she lectures alot and uses powerpoints, so make sure you go to class. she gives you extra credit before a test and lets you work in groups. she posts her homeworks online and you have to print them out and turn it in, but they're uber-easy. just make sure you do all of your work and study for the tests.

you don't have to take the final if you're happy with your grade. uses power points in her lectures and plays some interesting movies and tv show clips to help you understand the material better. allows cheat sheets. easy hw. tests are a bit hard but you'll pull through if you've been following along. she listens to rage so thats a +. great class.

Awesome professor! Her lectures are funny, interesting, and detailed. You need to study and not be lazy. However, she allows for a one page front and back cheat sheet for the test. If you get an A on all the ests prior to final, you can sign off to get your A and not take the final! A hidden treasure at LBCC! Simply the best!

THE BEST TEACHER for american government class...this is the only class where i dont fall asleep in...test and quiz are easy if you study and most of the answer are on the powerpoint...you wont regret taking this class

Her class is taugh via power points, however, she explains them in detail. I really appreciate she explains them and she doesnt just READS them becaus ethats what most most teachers are doing, just reading and not teaching. She is a teacher that explains then pauses for students to understand and then makes sure they understand by asking questions.

BEST TEACHER EVER.... not an easy class and it is a decent amount of work but if you can actually read the syllabus you will do just fine. Strange as it sounds, the only class i have ever been sad the semester is over. TAKE THIS CLASS!

This teacher is frikkin awesome! She's so helpful and passionate about what she teaches. Her lectures/pwr pt are keys to her tests so make sure to pay attn and write notes! You will never get bored/fall asleep in this class

Easy teacher. Work is not hard. However at the end of class there is a test given out, not from the teacher but from people higher than her who want to see how well students did in her class. She gives a review sheet to study for the test that was to see how much knowledge students have of the class! Also make up any tests missed until last week!

I love this teacher! Her class is not boring and she is helpful. You do have to work to earn a good grade. She gives extra credit and reviews. Not a hard class if you work. I highly recommend her!!!!

Mrs. Seitz was sooo helpful. I had NO interest in POLS whatsoever, took her and made a B+ only b/c I bombed the last test (which she gave the study guide to with the EXACT questions @ the end of the semester). Definitely take her, she is HILARIOUS, and has cute kids!

TAKE HER. She has a passion for what she teaches and makes POLS interesting. I had 0 interest in POLS before I took the class, but now I find it pretty interesting. She has a lot of tests so you'll be ok even if you bomb one. Very fair when grading. Extra credit before every test. She does have a required 10hrs of volunteer work, but it's worth it.

She is a great teacher. she can explain you in many ways to understand. you can get an easy A or B if you do your work on time.

Wow, I ended up with a B, but it was the hardest B I ever earned. The service learning project is demanding but rewarding. Don't take her if you want to slack off. Read, read, read...if you do that, you can do well in the class.

She is always there to help out, She is really kind and nice...There are only 5 tests, and You don't have to take the finall if you r happy with your grades...There are about 15 online quizzes and they are open book and really easy, and some easy projects..All I can say I wish we had some more teachers like her..

She is amazing. Political science is my major, so I went into the class hoping to have a professor that cared as much about the subject as I did and exceeded every expectation I had set. I definitely recommend her if you enjoy Politics.

Wonderful Professor! Taking her class got me interested in politics, which I had no prior interest for. I now have a sense of political efficacy and understand the hidden meanings behind news. Very clear instructions. If you put at least two hours outside outside of the class to study, anything below an A is impossible.

5tests, 15 online quizes, 10projects, 5-7 pages essays, & the final. she is helpfull, but u need to study & spend a long time to get an A.

She's very fun and very passionate about what she teaches. She helps you relate to the subjects by discussing current news topics. At the end of the semester, she gives you a chance to opt out of the final exam. Just make sure you do all of the 'projects' and extra credit. Tests only cover what she discusses in class so attendance is necessary.

Mrs. Seitz is a brilliant teacher, and she's very passionate about teaching you all about the American government. You'd be a fool not to take her class. She teaches you the real history of how the American government came to be, and the inner government processes some would rather you not know. Sad to see the class end, but I've learned so much.

She is the absolute BEST teacher. Everything is easy and to the point. It's an EASY A. She drops the lowest test grade and you can exempt the final if you have turned in ALL of the projects. (projects can be a little difficult, but okay).

didnt have to stress, never studied and got A's on everything. gives TONS of E.C., so do it cause it may really help you in the end. we're opposites politically but i still respected her as a person and liked talking to her. class can get a little boring, but its the subject not her. grading is straightforward. book is for the hour before the exam.

If you're a democrat she will make you want to stand up and cheer. If you're a republican she will annoy you tremendously. If you don't know what you are she will make you a democrat. She is biased but the class is easy. Go ahead sheep bahhhhhh

MRS.Seitz is the best professor whose teaching style is world-class in GPC. Her classes are not as hard as you know your initiative in this required class.Tests and papers are decent level;the lowest one,whether exams or writing assignments, is dropped."Do not get PANIC",a lot of extra credits will boost your grade up. Make sure do that and make A.

Professor Seitz is one of a kind. She cares about her students and our learning. She is the Obi Wan Kenobi of political science. Her class is easy: show up, do your assigned work on time, and study for the exams. Do yourself a favor and take her class, you will learn a great deal and laugh a lot in class. Professor Seitz rocks. She was planning to leave gpc after this past semester but will be staying on for at least one more semester. If you can, take her class. she will work with you and her zeal and clarity bring fairly high brow concepts down to the basics.

She's the easiest instructor I've had ever. She does everything. Power points, extra credit, lectures are interesting. If you have a certain average at the end of the semester you don't need to come to the final. The homework and study tools are online through the class code though, so that cost a little bit but it's worth it. I learned a lot.
