I hate trig. I failed it last semster. But she was good, and I understood it so much better. She worked us hard, but I learned it much more. I'm passing now because she helped me so much in office hours. She's great. I'm taking her next semester for precal.

She is a very good teacher && explains the material very well. I took the web enhanced class with the mymathlab and i think it helped alot. Failed mac1105 the first time i took it and this time i passed so easily because of her.

This was by far the BEST professor I have ever had for math. Because of her i understand math when i always had problems. She is willing to help and i reccomend her 100% She gets to the point and the math is clear. HIGHLY RECCOMEND

Prof. Siegel was a great teacher, I'm so glad that I took her class! I'm not the best at math so I was very worried about doing well. I thought getting a C would be high for me, but with her help, I got a B and I couldn't be happier! She helps you with anything, after class or in her office hours. She tries her best to explain and offers office hours. tests r exactly what she gives in class. Very helpful quests which u can get help from tutors. Did not use book. Take her only if u r ready 4 this hard class

This teacher is very helpful. Sure, the class is hard, and you do have to study, but it's calculus! She tries tho to make it fun and interesting and challenging, and I think she does a great job.

She is a great teacher, she knows the subjects really well, however, the course is really hard, you have to study hard. I think the most important thing is pay attention tu her lectures. Sh offers extra credit and try to do the hw.

great teacher, she isn't that attractive or funny, but still she knows how to teach and keep your attention. no homework unless you want extra credit, 4 tests 5 mini take home tests and 1 final. study before each test and you will be fine.

Great Professor! She spends all class with notes and examples that are very helpful when doing the homework. 5 mini take home tests, 4 in class tests, & 1 final. If you pay attention and do the homework, you'll do fine. She also gives her web-site in which she posts review sheets and answers (very useful!)

YOU MUST TAKE HER, SHE IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST MATH PROFESSOR EVER, I TOOK COLLEGE ALGEBRA 3 TIMES AND GOT AN A IN HER CLASS. Had her for Business Calc. and she is an awesome teacher! Math will never be easy, so you must study but she is very helpful and gives a lot of examples! You're allowed 3 absences, and if you don't miss more, she lets you replace a test score with avg. of ur Quest scores! Also, you need 22 out of 30 HW pts. to be able to drop ur lowest Test! GREAT!

This teacher is great she helps you if you look for help answers questions takes things at your pace but on your own time gives extra credit makes you learn

Calculus itself is hard, she is very helpful yes... but man the class is hard as hell, she did say do that she might be changing her syllabus to make it harder. So take this warning, I got a B in the class but had to study 30+ hours a week

Subject is very hard, helpful teacher but be warned no notes for test, and Final is just crazy she gives you no review and tells you to bring questions and wants you to know everything

Awsome!! she has a nice personality. she goes through everything you have to know in great depth and her door is always open for you if you need help. she explains the concept and then proceeds to do several problems. Ill take her for any class she is teaching.

She teaches math in a way that can keep your attention. EXTREMELY helpful however she makes her tests SO hard. Questions like the ones on her tests & Quests are so hard there's nothing like them in the book. She offers lots of extra credit, and seems like she really wants us to pass. But her work is still HARD even with studying your butt off !

She's great. Very helpful. I've never had a professor go so out of her way to help her students understand. Holds office hours for almost every day for an hour or so where all students are welcome and she supplements your instruction. If you can master her Quests (homework) and practice tests you'll do great on the tests.

Prof. Siegel is one of the nicest, if not the nicest, professor I have had ay BC. She continuously goes out of her way to help all her students and is really fair about grading! I would highly recommend her to anyone! Just make sure you take notes, complete the quests, and the practice test and you'll be fine!

Prof. Siegel was excellent in Pre-Calc. Quests & tests were easy. However, in 2311 everything was difficult. She was more strict, tests and quests were harder. Recommend for Pre-Calc but not for Calculus 1.

she is awesome! shes funny at times but corny funny, which is cool if ur an easy goin person. she helps a lot during class and after class, she also provides most of her time to office hours for extra help. her test and quest are str8 from her notes and examples given in class. if u really want an A in her class just do the homework. overall awesom

I took her for Calc I and she was a fun teacher. She takes her time to explain, and helps out a lot during office hours. Its true the "Quest" assignments are time consuming, but you can learn a lot from them. Her tests are fair, and she gives extra credit. Mkae sure you dont miss a class and take good notes, do HW, and you'll be good with her.

Siegel is not a bad professor at all. Anyone giving negative ratings is just not pushing themselves as hard. I just ended her class today with an A and I am not as great in math. You just need to attend EVERY class, and ESPECIALLY if you are confused, she is always there for you in her office for private help on quests and tests. Tests are EASY.

Professor Siegel is the best math teacher I've had so far. She is amazing. Her class is super easy because she is willing to help all her students and explains everything. If anyone fails its because they did not make an effort to help themselves by doing HW for practice because it's not required. LOVED HER!!!! Def. take her if your not LAZY. :)

LOVED HER! Trig is hard enough in itself but Professor Siegel just made it click.The only thing I didn't like was she is very particular on how to do certain problems. EX: She uses a cheating chart where I memorized the Trig circle which caused some problems when she graded my tests because I would get the right answer but it wasn't her way.

Very fair and Very helpful! She has allowed us to re-do problems on tests/ quizzes and offer bonus opportunity. The class has 2 quest assignments, 5 quizzes(drops lowest) 5 tests(replaces lowest with Final) and a Final. Do the homework and come to class. You will get an A+ like me!

I took the Mac1105 Honors w/ her and it was so hard even though I studied my A off. I'm an A student but got a B on the class (hate it). She thought we were Einstein, her test were very hard. She's a great teacher but for some reason the final result was not what I expected at least for me. She gives 2 group Quest (hard). I'm afraid of her class.

I took Professor Siegel's Honors College Algebra class like the person below and got an A. However, you need to make sure to study often if you want to do well because this is a math course and she doesn't curve. She gives good examples that will help you but YOU MUST ACTUALLY TRY to learn the material. Her class can be difficult for some.

I took her for trig. She's the best math professor I've ever encountered. I wish I knew about her for my previous math courses. Trig is trig and if you want an A you need to work for it. However, she's extremely fair and gives amazing notes. Not to mention she give alot of extra credit. LOVE HER!

Mrs Siegel is the best teacher i ever had. She makes learning fun and easy.She explains everything clearly. Lot of extra credits and bonus points.Few students got a grade above 100.You have 2 attempt for the quizzes and the highest one will count toward your grade. She gave plenty time to do the test and quizzes(quizzes are online). EASY A :)

I had her for BizCalc. She is an awesome professor compared to who I have now. She breaks down the concept to the point of understanding. The reason I failed is because I never did the homework and her exams is limited to a few application questions where if you miss one thing, you basically miss the whole question. But I definitely recommend her!

Professor Siegel is the best math teacher I have had at BC. I would take her for any class that I need. She is clear, fun, well-prepared, organized, respectful, helpful, and kind. I plan to teach some day, and I am going to use her as a model of how to be a good teacher.

This professor has to be one of the best. The class is nnot what so ever easy, it takes alot of practice and studying. Her notes are the best thing to study for the test. Her office would always be full of students. Sucks that she won't be teaching next semester.

She is very good at explaining. Tests are challenging but you should be able to pass. DO THE HOMEWORK IT WILL HELP A LOT. If you can, attend the math lab. That also helps. Overall good professor

Prof. Siegel knows her stuff and she is very helpful and patient, however you must take patience yourself to study for the test. Took this class over the summer so it was very fast paced but I still passed. She uses homework on webassign that helps and also gives test/final reviews similar to the exam, all you have to do is put in time and study.

Took her for both precalc and trig both summer courses and both accelerated at the same time. Finished both classes with a B in six weeks. Very understanding, but now an easy class. Best professor ever. Strike up a conversation about Chaos Theory with her. Extremely smart and just amazing

I didn't pass, but it wasn't from lack of studying, trying, or a result from my professor's lectures. I simply have a difficult time with math even with a tutor. Prof. Siegel is AWESOME! She's very kind and extremely helpful to ALL her students, even if you aren't doing well. I will be taking this class again, but I still love Prof Siegel!

I took this Professor three times for Trig (Summer 2014, Winter 2014, and Winter 2015). The 1st 2 times I failed miserably because of laziness, but I took her a 3rd time, and I practiced, and went to her office hours before a test. Also, she has a very calm and patient personality, and loves her students ( if not lazy). Highly recommend her!!

Professor Siegel is A GREAT TEACHER! one of the best math professors at Broward college. Her teaching is very clear and she nicely repeats things as often as students need them repeated. Although she gives homework, if you donot procrastinate then you should be fine. She also has a cheesy/great sense of humor and is such a happy, energetic woman!

i love the way she teaches it makes it understandable if u don't understand something u better ask if not then she will keep going im not going to say her test were easy they were all written so u have to study also she does grade a little hard on everything u mess up on but nothing in life is easy if u want to succeed I would take her again

Prof. Siegel, cares about her students, she offers to help when you need it and I am terrible at math but she does not make you feel stupid when you do not understand something. There are about 3 test and a final. There is no need to buy the text book the required mymathlab code already has the textbook online. Just put aside time to study.

I actually dropped her class but it was not due to her it was my inability to dedicate the time necessary to pass. Professor Siegel is a very good teacher but has high expectations. IF you pass her class you will definitely know the material and earn the passing grade. If you are looking to just get credits easily this is not your professor.

brilliant professor. i can really learn a lot in her class. she teaches us the methods to remember and many useful rules and her class is really interesting. each exam she gives us a lot exact credits to let you touch 90. For me its easy A. i think as a math professor she is almost best in BC.

The only problem I have is that the tests are extremely tough. She does give partial credit & gives additional help, but you MUST study the notes, the online homework, and the practice tests.

This is a professor who really cares about her students. She is well prepared and gives you excellent notes and test review material. Very flexible w/ her grading and offers a lot of bonus points. Pay attention in lectures and take notes! Doesn't grade HW but doing it is a must to pass the quizzes. Very helpful during her office hours, take her! A+

Professor Siegel is an amazing instructor and person. She has this corny jokes that leave you with no option other than to laugh. She's there if you need help. Tests are long but doable. Don't leave the quizzes until last minute or you won't be able to complete them all. I have taken her twice already and will take again for a higher math course.

This professor is one I wish I had every semester. She's very clear in her lectures and is understanding in test scheduling. She gives extra credit on every test and gives partial credit for wrong answers. She's also a nice person.

Great Professor! I took calc for the 1st time and I am really happy i took her. Yes, you need to study but i loved that she didnt sway away from the examples she taught us. I learned and retained alot. There is bonus points, and she replaces your lowest test with final test if better. It is a 5 credit class so yeah there is alot squeezed in.

Solid choice for a professor, uses tons of examples and goes very slow. Makes corny jokes which make class enjoyable. I took this course for 6 weeks in the summer so homework and the pace were challenging to keep up with, but still pretty easy. Make sure to show all work on tests. You can have the right answer but no workno credit.

She truly is a great professor. The only issue is that I took this class in the summer and there is really no time for anything. Way too much homework but I believe that might be the department's fault. The online homework was 10% of the tests along with 5% of the reviews but they were so long and hard that you barely have time to study for tests.

She's an amazing and caring professor. The lectures may be boring and sometimes make me sleepy but it's probably because I knew some topics. She explains everything in detail and in ways you can remember stuff. She has her own methods of memorizing stuff and it helps. She is willing to help you with stuff you don't understand during office hours.

She is amazing as a person and as a teacher. People say she rushes to cover the topics, because there is a lot of material, even in a session 1 term. In my class a lot of people dropped but its because they did not do the homework and they did not ask any questions. Schneid is very kind, and if she knows you dont get something she will help you.
