This is her first semester at KSU. I really like her and would take her again if she stays here and teaches upper level classes. Its hard to make accounting lectures interesting but she really tries to engage the class and does a lot of examples in class. Acct majors: TAKE HER, YOU WONT REGRET IT :)

Mrs. Smith is a great accounting professor. She really cares about the subject and she wants you to pass the class and really understand the material. The tests are hard but she gives opportunities to get some points back with corrections. I really enjoyed this class with her.

I loved professor Smith! She was one of the best professors I have ever had! Accounting is hard but she will take the extra time to make sure you understand everything. She is so kind and so sweet! I would defiantly retake her class if I could!

Gives you every opportunity to do well. So much extra credit to help you out. It's a difficult course, but Mrs. Smith makes it easy to understand. All homework assignments are online as well as most quizzes and tests. Allows use of notes on all quizzes, tests, exams. Actually cares about your understanding of the class and grade.

She told us not to worry about grades because she was going to help us pass and that all that mattered to her is that we actually learn something. I think that says it all. Needless to say, I got a 99 in the class and that's given my lack of interest in the subject matter. She is a very caring and knowledge focused professor.

I took her 2100 class and it is a somewhat challenging subject, but Prof. Smith does a great job and walking everyone through the steps and giving great examples. She also posts the notes online for practice, as well as curves the tests. Taking her should be an easy A if you are willing to go to class and put in some effort.

One of the best professors at KSU. She goes through examples every class which is a must for an accounting class. Also gives out lots of extra credit for those who show up to class. Very kind and sweet lady who you won't regret taking.

I am a Junior (about to be a Senior) and she has been in the top 3 best Professors I have ever had. She cuts through the unnecessary material to focus on what should be taught and makes sure you understand everything before moving on. She is really nice and responsive. She will help you through anything you are struggling on.

Professor Smith is really good at explaining concepts of accounting. She gives tons of extra credit that I think everyone should do. You are not required to go to class, but it helps a lot if you do :D.

I cannot imagine a better professor for accounting 2. There is loads of extra credit so if you are not good at test taking you can still make an A. You do not have to go to class, but you may miss out on extra credit if you skip.

Professor Smith is a fantastic professor. Just make sure you attend class because the way she teaches really helps students to better understand the content. She is very caring and offers extra credit. Grades are based on 3 tests, including the final exam, homework, packback questions, and one ethics paper.

Prof. Smith is super personable and always willing to help. She explains the material in a way that it sticks and she doesn't have a problem slowing down or going over something twice. She offers tons of extra credit and as long as you do your work, there is no way you should get anything below a B.

This class is not assignment heavy. I went to class less than the number of fingers I have and I am satisfied with my grade. She gives a few opportunities for extra credit too. Hard to fail

If you want any A in Accounting, I recommend Dr. Smith!! She gives out extra credit throughout the semester which each extra credit is worth 4.5 points to your overall average. The tests are a lot easier in Accounting 2102 then they are in Accounting 2101!

Best professor I have ever taken. She is kind, caring, and always willing to help. She offers help to whoever needs it, and the extra credit can help your grade. The tests are more manageable than the first accounting and are also done on a lockdown browser. Take her if you are given the opportunity, and you will thank me!

Professor Smith is so sweet and caring, she has a great sense of humor and knows how to deliver lectures. The workload was easy going but make sure you grasp each concept. She provides everything you need and provides opportunities for extra credit. Amazing lady.

Take Dr.Smith, if you can because she gives out 82 points of extra credit within connect and going to class. She made Accounting 2102 easy instead making it difficult. I made a 100 in accounting 2102 as my final grade. I recommend Dr.Smith for Accounting 2102!

Best accounting professor at KSU! She has an amazing personality and incredible teaching style. I love how much she makes sure that everyone understands the material. I did better in this class than I did in 2101, she was that great! Very highly recommend, especially if you have a harder time understanding the concepts of accounting.

One of my favorite professors so far! I enjoyed her class, and she explains concepts thoroughly and makes sure you understand. Accounting is not easy - attend her office hours, participate, and ask questions! She is more than willing to help. It was a pleasure - I will definitely go out of my way to ensure that I take her in a future class.

One of my favorite professors! She really cares about her students. Accounting is a tough course but if you put in the effort, an A is achievable. Quizzes and homework are on connect and exams are proctored. Extra credit is offered. I did way better in this class than I did in 2101. I definitely recommend Professor Smith!

Very easy acct class. Hw and quizzes were open notes and open for you to work at your own pace. The 2 exams were a little hard but doable got an 80 on both. Excel project is much easier than acct 2101. Writing assignment was very easy not a hard grader.

Loved professor smith! She was a sweet professor that taught accounting well! She gave so many opportunities for extra credit that it was easy to succeed. The homework and quizzes were easy to do well on, but the majority of our grade were points from tests and the final exam. Would take again!

Jennifer Smith is such a kind heart and great professor. She gives lots of extra credit and is always wiling to help if you need it. All you have do is show up and learn the class is super easy and well structured. 4 Tests including exams. A Smartbook quiz and homework for each chapter with a few projects. Easy A if you participate and do your work

If you can take this Professor! You will not regret it. She is very helpful and gives extra credit. There is one project on excel it's not bad at all. She even allowed us to have a day in class to complete it if we needed her help. She teaches in a way that makes accounting easier to understand and does not mind going over something twice TAKE HER

Professor Smith was a very fair professor. She responded to emails within a day and was also very accessible out of class. She made her lectures very digestible and easy to understand. The homework is all on Mcgraw-Hill and she gave lots of extra credit that equaled about 10% of your total grade. I HIGHLY recommend taking her if you can.

I'm really bad at accounting but Prof Smith made it an enjoyable experience and genuinely cares about your success. Pretty much just like ACCT 2101 with MCHill, excel project, and lockdown tests, but Prof Smith definitely made 2102 much more manageable, and would take her again for another accounting class!

She is the best professor I've ever had. She actually teaches the material, and gives full explanations of how to do the work. It's rare to find a teacher like Professor Smith. I highly suggest you register for her classes as soon as it's available.

If you take her show up to class, take good notes, and make sure to study. I messed up towards the end of the semester and I ended up failing by 2 points. She doesn't help curve anything. She didn't pass me even tho I was ONLY 2 points away. She's great at teaching but just know she doesn't curve, so be on top of schoolwork!

The BEST professor for Accounting 2102, Dr. Smith is so helpful and wants everyone in her class to succeed. SHe's the sweetest lady ever and I wish I could take her again. The class itself is very difficult but if you take the time to study using the extra practice questions you can get the A!

Overall a great professor for this course. This course is not an easy A, but you will make one if you work for it. Dr. Smith offers generous extra credit opportunities which make that possible. Lectures are also worth attending. She explains the concepts well and gives out helpful practice problems.

She's a bit of a clunky typer in excel but other than that she's really good. Actually teaches the material, gives lots of examples, and explains everything step by step. Would take again.

Very easy class specifically online, and she broke down the work fairly well. Smartbook was used, which i find much easier in general. Work is a little heavy but if you stay on top of it you should be able to leave the class with an A. Don't wait to do your master budget project!

Professor Smith is by far my favorite professor I have had in my college career. I had absolutely no trouble understanding the material for Accounting 2. This is coming from someone who barely passed Accounting 1 with a C. Professor Smith provides an abundant amount of extra credit, so it is very possible to achieve over 100% in her class.

As long as you stay on top of your work you'll do great. She offers many ways for extra credit and is good at teaching the material. There is a lot of graded practice for each chapter but it only helps you and isn't excessive, definitely take her!

This class was very easy both in terms of workload and difficulty of assignments. Mrs. Smith also offers LOTS of extra credit (probably enough, if all is completed, to bump your grade up a whole letter!) that is stupidly easy to complete. It is very hard to not get an A in the class with the amount of extra credit she gives. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

Professor Smith gives so many in class resources that are almost exactly what will be on the tests and works through problems without it being lectured. Participation grade and unlimited attempts on hw and quizzes so easy 100%. 4 non cumulative tests on paper but so much partial credit given its worth it. Best professor I've ever had at Kennesaw!!

Just took this for my first accounting class, this professor is helpful. Her lectures are good, but boring (but this IS an accounting class so can't be helped) she is nice and welcomes people to seek help if they are struggling with the class. Assigned reviews before tests which are super helpful, STUDY THEM! Bonus point assignments are frequent

Professor Smith wants you to succeed. I struggled a lot with Accounting and didn't do great on the first exams but she gives as much partial credit as possible and tons of extra credit. If you do all the assignments and study the practice problems you should have no problem. She explains everything well and makes a seemingly impossible class easy.

This class is much easier than Accounting 1. Prof Smith's lectures can be boring and hard to focus on but using Connect I was able to learn what was going on. She gave a bunch of extra credit this semester and I had enough points for an A without taking the final. Highly suggest taking her.

Professor Jennifer will probably be one of your favorite professors if you can communicate with her about things you're not able to comprehend. She gives out extra credit for attendance on certain occasions. She will indeed try to help you pass the class so that you won't struggle!

The only reason I got an A- is because I had enough points to take zeros for every part of the last unit and FOR THE FINAL EXAM. If that doesn't tell you that it is a good class idk what will. cares about students and is always willing to help. Sit in front row and pay attention. Took this during summer. Amazing professor, really funny and sweet. Easier than ACCT 2101, class was a bunch of formulas and simple calculations. Homework unlimited attempts. In class handouts match the homework. Exams really easy, don't need to do any crazy studying. Tons of extra credit. Didn't do the case studies or final and still got an A.

Took her summer course in person and there was no challenge at all. If you pay attention and do all of the work you can get an easy A.

She is possibly my favorite accounting professor. Her lectures are fun and why she won't just give you an A she sets you up to succeed so long as you study and put the work in. She makes sure you understand the concepts and will help you after class if you need it. GREAT PROFESSOR!!!!

Such an awesome professor. I took the class with this professor and got a 78 the first time because I never went to class. I took it again because i needed a B and I she really took time to help me get a higher grade. She is great at answering questions. She makes a difficult class easy for sure.

The best professor I've had at KSU. It's very clear she cares about her students and their well being. Her lectures are very helpful and easy to follow. I have yet to miss a class because she teaches the concepts so well. She goes over everything in class that is on the exams. She made a very hard tedious class very easy to follow and do well in.

Prof. Smith is passionate about the subject and genuinely cares about her students. A good bit of work outside of class, but gives extra credit. Just do all the work and you'll get an A.

This course is hard and not lay off class but with Ms. Smith she will make sure you have enough extra credit to pass her class. Unlimited attempts on HW and 2 chances on quizzes. In-class extra credit assessment so be cautious about that and she very visual learner so please attend class if you are one or you want a class that gives extra credit.

She cares about the content and her students. This class is assignment heavy but she provides plenty of extra credit opportunities so it's almost impossible to fail. Even if this isn't a mandatory class for you, you'll still walk away with basic knowledge of accounting. Need more professors like her honestly.

If you don't take Professor Smith what are you doing? She gives amazing lectures and literally prints notes for students so you can "play" along. She wants every student to succeed. Don't be hesitant to ask questions and make sure to look over the study guide before exams and the foundational 15.

She was amazing, willing to walk you through every little detail of Int Financial Accounting and explain the why. Really wants all her students to pass.

She's a great professor who's incredibly passionate about accounting and well-established in the School of Accountancy. Her point grading system makes it almost impossible to fail, and she offers lots of exam support. Exams are in person (no MonitorEDU). Just note: her teaching style isn't for everyone, but you'll learn a lot.

ACCT2102 is NOT an easy COURSE specially with MONITOR EDU. Use available resources (GTA sessions, Learning Center and Kack Tutoring). Prof Smith is Great. On-Hands lectures, Knowledgeable and Super Caring; Exams 50%online 50%in person. Attendance NOT mandatory but if you missed, you only hurting yourself. Funny, Energetic and Fair Grader!

Intermediate financial accounting is a hard course general but Professor Smith really cares about her students and is willing to help in any way possible. I had a C average across all 4 exams but because of all the extra course work and projects I was able to finish the class with a B. Final exam was cumulative. I recommend going to class.

Professor Smith was a great teacher. Accounting is a subject that is either you get it or you don't. She was so nice and accommodating. I met with her throughout the semester because I was just not getting the material. The whole department makes you have a live proctor looking at you as well as the browser is being monitored as well.

I took professor smith online for a summer course and it was not too bad. The material was obviously faster but it was really doable. All her tests are lockdown browser with someone also monitoring you. She does a good amount of extra credit make sure to DO IT because it can really help your grade and it is not hard at all.

Professor Smith is super clear, funny, and helpful. Took her in summer, totally worth it. She gives extra credit, stays after class to help, and makes everything easy to understand. Her teaching style is smooth and engaging. Definitely one of the best professors I've had!

Mrs. Smith seemed to truly care for each student that showed up to class. She went out of her way to solve an issue for me during the semester, and provided clear lectures and studying material for tests. Overall a great professor and someone you want to have for accounting.

I took her over the summer. Very good professor. Attendance is not mandatory, but I would recommend it, as she did give a lot of extra credit. Studying will help a lot for the tests. There were only 4 tests (which were monitored but many quizzes and homework to help with your grade.

Decent professor, she goes fast and can be hard to follow at times but that is just due to the nature of the class. It is a hard class, but she is willing to help and is tough but reasonable. I would take her again. Definitely a class you need to put a lot of work into, especially practicing outside of class.

One of the best accounting professors at KSU! takes the time to explain to us the material as accounting can be a very difficult subject for most. Gives out paper handouts each class so we can work along with her on the board. she gives a lot of extra credit just for showing up! with exams being split in 2 parts online and in class.

Honestly the best Professor I've had by far, she's very caring and a great person, attendance isn't mandatory but its definitely recommended, she always responds to emails and gives a good amount of Extra Credit Opportunities.

Prof. Smith is engaged in every class and makes a continuous effort toward her students. she explains concepts in a easily digestible way. If you decide to take her class here is how to pass. 1. stay on top of concept videos, hw, and online quizzes. the cv and hw have infinite check my work and the quizzes are only 5 q. the test are half online.

Please take this teacher! I failed the first two exams BAD, but I was still able to make an academic comeback with a high B. She gives out so much extra credit and allows multiple attempts on homework and quizzes, so it's impossible not to make a 100 on everything except tests. Attend the lectures and study because it's very easy to fall behind.

LOVE HER. She is a very caring Professor and it shows. She is very flexible with other schedules and students' priorities. Very good feedback and answers to questions. She prints all of her assignments on paper and goes over them in class. Very handy. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
