By far one of the best professors I've taken at Central Campus. She is professional and very experienced in her field, and I would highly suggest her class to others.

Her class was a lot of fun and her projects are a bit different. She was truely a great professor and there is so much more you can learn from her then the information she presents in class. If you want to be a better speaker, take her class!

Great Teacher. This is my second time taking Speech, because of my fear of public speaking. However, this teacher made me get over my fear. I loved the class. It was extremely interesting, specially because she has so much information to offer. I recommend this teacher.

O.K., thus far, just a bit moody. She seems to have family issues which is brought to her teaching habits. Funny and old fashion, although she's clearly in her late thirties. Take this class if you have attendance problems. Also for writing credit. You can expect at leat a "B" if you do part of the work.

She is a very sweet, funny, and helpful teacher. I never knew the guidelines on making speeches and I learned so much in that class. She is always willing to help, and will try and help you with your fears or problems. I highly recommend her for communication classes.

I thought this class would be hard, but it turned out great! She was an awesome teacher and has an open personality. It would be hard to fail this class. Lots of paperwork to keep a hold of but little class work. Mostly Speeches.

She is very nice teacher, a class that is easy to keep up and understand. I got an easy A with her. The class is mostly based on speeches which to me where very easy to do. She has a unique personality and is willing to help you if you are scared or have doubts.

Great TEacher, very live. You get the feel that she likes to teach. Dress nice, smile, and get involved and you should have no problem getting an A.

Teacher who really cares. Has been through a lot lately and still has the strength to teach and assist people. Keep your notebook in order-as this will keep you in order and counts for a lot of points. Class work itself is minimal, but there is a lot of homework(quizzes). Most classes are giving of speeches. Will help you if you need it-just ask!

This lady is amazing. Was having a lot of issues in her private life and never brought them to class or took them out on us. She is what the world needs. Take this class you will learn and also grow as a person. Professor Steele is a great person.

Unique professor. Truely cares about her students. She definately encourages students to think differently! Learned so much! Helped me get find a way to get my education for free -- I'm on my way! I left the class more confident and secure. This a class that will impact me for life.

it is an easy class but she demands so much!!!!!! i had a lot of classes and she made it seem like her class was the only thing important. she gives so much work and is all stricked about ther journal organization. it's crazy and it stressed me out. take a teacher who is easier than her and who doesn't demand so much!

Very passionate and considerate.however fairly strict on participation & attendance...very clear,fairly easy grader (once u follow her directions on assignments u will Ace them)genuwine heart, great individual...if u actully goto college 2 learn something do urself a favor.......take her

She teaches out of your comfort zone. She actually designs her own curriculum. She gives many assignments, but if you do them all, you will get an easy A. She shares life experiences she has had that pertain to communication. You will never be bored. This class really had an impact on my life and has changed it forever.

If you are a responsible student, you will have no problem in this class. The only bad thing about her is that she goes off on tangents quite a lot. I would get the book even though it's almost never used. It's very informative. She keeps a nice website and provides samples for each assignment. If you do what you need to do, you will get an A+.

Gets off the subject ALOT but is really nice and fun. Gives ALOT of work, but provides samples of work on her website not hard AT ALL. Do all the work get an A. She lets you turn in any missing/late work. DONT BUY book. Quizzes online so you can go back and fix wrong answers!!! For final you go to a restaurant to do impromptu speech..it's fun!

The class started off fun and she was nice, but by the end of the semester I felt like I was in over my head. She is very demanding and its her way or the highway. If your not extremely organized, don't take this class.

I took this professor class during the summer 2008, her class was very demanding, but in the end it was very helpful a lot of work but she gives you the exact examples of what the work should look like. I think she is very helpful in preparing you for your future tasks. She's not all that bad.

She is one of the coolest teachers i had. She is ver knowlegdable about her profession she also taught me alot of things about public speaking made you try things out of the box, Lastly attendance is a must

Coach Steele is AWESOME! Very knowledgeable about communications. Class very interesting it will help you all the way till grad school. She is very helpful, the class is easy but you have to do some minimal busy work and be organize, regarding speeches, shell will take you step by step. Highly recommended if you want to learn. Great teacher but be prepared to do work. She knows a lot so you?ll learn a lot. It?s a lot of work but she?s not to strict on due dates.

she really loves what she does & wants everyone to do well BUT her class is so frustrating. you never know when an assignment or a speech is due. everything in the notebook is busy work that she takes seriously. do everything how she want it done and u will get an A. i got a 102% in her class but it wasent easy. she's to demanding

Ok she has a great sense of humor and is fun until you get to the informative speech then she turns into this angry person. You learn a lot and you will walk away with a comfort in public speaking so she does her job. She is also good at it. LOT OF WORK though. Loves her dog Cramer and loves trampolines funny story you should ask.

There are many things you can really use in your life which include public speaking skills, relates to every persons life, listening, persuasion, organization -- everything is easily explained. The formula is awesome. Interesting and provacative

Coach Steele class isn't that hard. She was very annoying at times, but i still love her. I'm happy the class is over tho. I would take her again if i had to. I also recieve an A. Just do the work and go to class and you great. Gud luck

Very good teacher!! Strict on assignments but there is time for you to make them up. Made me feel very comfortable which is important to me since it was a speech class. The class was fun and the people were great!! I highly recommend this teacher!!

If you hate to do work, don,t take this class. She is really nice, but she expects you to do effort to complete all assignments and speeches in time. If you need help she is nice an takes her time to explain you. I really liked her class. Hard but worth it I LEARNED ALOT!

I took her in the summer and she was a very good teacher. At first i wasn't too comfortable speaking in front of the class but that all slowly changed. She does assign a lot of work but it's pretty and fun!! Take her only if you have time.

She was alright. I thought of her as more of a high school teacher because that's how she acted. There is a ton of work, so you have to be on your game at ALL times. You pretty much know when stuff is due if you listen to her. She also sends emails, etc. As for character, she def has her favorites in class. So get on her good side if you take her!

This class was fun, and I really learned alot. She has a cool way of teaching, and she really isn't that hard. Her directions, however, were never really clear. Follow her syllabus or you will be sorry.

Easiest Class Ever. Took this class in high school and aced every assignment. As long as you keep your notebook organized, write and practice your speeches...you will be fine. Easy A. Highly recommend.

This teacher is great. She has a lot of experience and is very helpful. You'll come away with a lot. Wherever you are at in public speaking this professor will come along side and help you, teach you, and challenge you. I highly recommend her for public speaking.

This class is really an easy - A. She practially gives the answers to the test and grades fare. She does like to talk alot but thats a communication teacher for you ;) She is passinaate person and will help those that seek help. She is VERY FLEXABLE with due dates and does everything she can to help you get an A. Just do your work!Don't be chicken!

This professor is wonderful! She is challenging but she is one of the rare teachers that actually cares about her students. I didn't expect to get a life lesson from a speach class but thats what happened. GREAT PROFESSOR

Coach Steele knows what she's doing but taking her for a 6 week summer session was a HUGE mistake. It is ALOT of work (yes you do learn) but while taking 2 other summer courses and working full time, it was hell. Every second was spent worrying about her assignments. Take her for the regular 16 weeks and make sure you have time to devote to her HW!

Professor Steele is one of the best professors I ever have. I learn a lot from her class. She is very passionate and dedicated to her class, she is so knowledgeable. Skills that she equipped you with,you will always need and use them in the real world. She really wants her students to learn. she is a very great professor

Coach Steele provides a very good formula that will stay with you for a lifetime. Although there may be a lot of work, it is not overwhelming. And even though the class is mandatory you will end up loving her class. I enjoyed her class very much and her grading system is EXTREMELY fair.

There were certainly times were things were very challenging&perhaps unclear but once you grasp the formula everything will be easier. At times this professor could be rude but overall I believe she means well. If your a student who wants an easy A then do NOT take her,if you want to really learn then all the work will be worth it. Took this class last summer and I can't believe how much it has impacted my entire academic year. I learned organization, how to motivate myself and how to communicate through a conflict with professors or boss, even my parents. Most worthwhile class I ever took, yes it challenged me at times but thank goodness I embraced the challenge.

Took this course last summer, it was challenging. So happy I did. As I finish this semester, I realize how much this course impacted my success. I learned organize myself, how to motivate myself, how to present my ideas both written and orally, how to communicate with my professors, my boss, even my parents. My grades went from a C to A's.

If you seriously want to develop your public speaking skills, or want to take the stress of not being to speak in public off your shoulder, Coach Steele is the professor to help. Her methods actual work, and they make you so confident once you understand them.

One of the most dedicated teachers ive met, though most dedicated in providing lectures on how developing skills about being an ethical speaker, but personal advice on on self-development! Through Coach Steele's Speech Actualized workbook i was able to write, organize and strategize my speeches! I would have never managed without her outline.
