Dr. V was an AWESOME professor. She takes a lot of homework for a grade, but part of the homework grade helps increase your test scores. There are many opportunities for extra help, and she is quick to respond if you email her outside of these opportunities. She is a very tough grader though, but also very clear with her expectations.

Failed last semester and now finishing with a high B. Mandatory attendance, lots of weekly homework, weekly quizzes, but all of that really forces you to learn the material. Tons of extra credit opportunity, lots of grades, always accessible, 10/10 engaging lectures. Professor V could genuinely be one of the best professors at KSU. Take her

Dr. V is the best math professor I have had at KSU. She is very understanding, great at explaining things, and will do everything in her power to succeed. Be prepared for pop quizzes and lots of homework. Moreover, you need to be prepared to write a lot. All in all, she is probably the best professor you could get for Calc 2.

She is a very knowledgeable professor who is great at teaching. The class is pretty hard and the quizzes consist of the hardest homework problems. I would say it is pretty hard to get an A in the class unless you do really well on the quizzes. Overall, I enjoyed taking Dr. Vandenbussche's class, I would recommend her if you hard working.

She is very passionate and attentive. She does a great job at explaining calculus concepts. She posts all her notes and is very lenient on attendance. The bad: We have to make our own study guides, homework is extremely heavy, has random pop quizzes that are incredibly easy to fail. This class will make you work and you NEED to be strong in pre calc

Get ready for tons of homework due each Wednesday, all from textbook and worksheets, meanwhile having online homework due every other night. Very hard grader, and if you make one mistake or take a shortcut, she will take off a ton of points. Lots of assignments due on exam week, which takes away from study time. Laws and theorems all over exams.

Assigns too much work, even before exams, there are written problems you need to do from the textbook plus online ones that are due at least three times a week. Her grade distribution overall is ludicrous, puts too much on exams, and homework or other content like quizzes is worth pretty much nothing, so you need to do really well on exams to pass.

Tests are brutally difficult compared to other classes, so much homework and pop quizzes. You can retake 1 test and final replaces lowest test score.

Do not take this class if you only have to take Calc 1! She is a very tough grader and assigns a lot of homework. She is a very nice lady who can explain things well but her tests are significantly tougher than other professors in the Math department. The final exam, which is written by the math department was FAR EASIER than all of her tests.

Dr. V's class was one of the most informative I've ever taken- She cares a lot about the students, and has bright and engaging lectures where you are always participating. A lot of people say there is too much homework, however that is the way you study for math, especially this class. If you try in class and use the extra credit, you will be fine.

Exams are 75% of your grade. The average on our first exam was 65. Be prepared to have a literal daily homework schedule including weekends. There is a flawed reasoning that the mountain of *graded* homework is used to study for exams. Quizzes every Thursday, be sure to not have a job or other classes. I can't express how much I dislike her class.
