She is fun and a great teacher, however, there are a lot of "out of the classroom" assignments (which I hate). But it's a fun class.

She has a lot of work in her class. Seems like a senior level class.

Class can be fun with good participation but drags on at other times. Test not as easy as you think and she grades somewhat hard. You will have to work for your A.

this teacher is so hot and helpful, if you are attentive inher class, you will definatelly make an "A". you should get her for sure.

Class is very easy, and she gets off topic A LOT. Tells you exactly what to do but sometimes gets mixed up with requirements for other classes. go to class, do the work, and talk a lot in class and you should do fine.

She is an amazing teacher. She knows how to make boring subject material into fun and intersting conversations...its not that she gets off subject, its just that she knows how to relate material to stuff we know. if you study her tests are easy, and the work was not bad at all... loved the class shes got a great personality and shes hilarious.

Very knowledgeable about the subject of speech and debate. Only two tests, so there is a great deal of information you have to know for tests. Tests are pretty hard, plays with the wording. Very funny, LOVES to talk. Knows more about sports than most men. Lots of work to do at home. This is not a class for slackers! I enjoyed her class.

Fun teacher,keeps class very fun and exciting. Very hard with grades though. Tests were hard, and always had some little project to do. I worked my but off and only got a C.

She was awsome, very personable, and friendly and funny. She made class so much fun i actually wanted to go. She does require everyone to work hard and if you miss one speech your pretty much screwed but she'll work with you. I would recommend this class to anyone!!!

I was dreading this class before I took it, but Jenny (yes she prefers to be called Jenny) made it a lot of fun while teaching me a lot about it. Yes, she's cute, but it's the icing, not the cake. She has a lot to teach.

Great prof - keeps people interested and engaged. Only problem is she needs to learn how to tell some idiots to shut up and stop interrupting. Its good to have a class discussion but sometimes she couldnt get a word in because she wouldnt tell people to be quiet - so we got VERY off topic sometimes. But overall she's great-lots of fun! recommend ;)

Jenny is a great,very competent prof.I agree with the previous comment - people use her "listening skills" and talk too much about themselves.She is funny,very tolerant,very open minded,extremely helpful,and talkative.Everyone loves her!

SHE IS AWESOME!! The classroom is a fun environment, but don't expect the class to be easy, because it takes time outside of the actuall class. She encourages you to use papers you've written for other classes!

Jenny is an excellent teacher. She will ask for you to call her Jenny. She is so passionate. She has a wonderful personality. She's bubbly and always in a great mood. With all that said, DON'T EXPECT AN EASY A. She is a hard grader. This class will NOT be easy. But you can make an A. You won't use the book much but you still Must read the book.

Jenny was great. Yes, at time i hated her b/c i highly disagreed with her grading... alittle TOO hard. But it just makes you even more proud when you pass the class and do good on something. Prof Jenny Warren thinks that she's hot. She's ok but a bit too bubbly and the way that she grades doesn't match her personality.Don't judge a book by it's cover. Prof is definitely not a pushover. she also over emphasizes the on plagiarism. So make sure you cite your papers properly...and she likes a challenge so ask lots of questions in class and

Maybe I was too busy staring at her because she is beautiful, but the class had way too much work to do in much too little of time. If you have her as a professor, make sure you stay on top of your note-taking and create plenty of time to work on assignments outside of class.

I looked forward to her class everytime. She's teacher that will challenge you, teach you successfully, and make you laugh every class! Super tough grader, but she tells you what it takes to get great grades in her class. You have to be willing to apply yourself and she'll definitely be willing to help you succeed. Best teacher I've ever had!

Jenny makes speech SOOO much fun and easy. her bubbly personality makes it easier to express yourself. you will love this class. participation is very important in her class.its a grade infact so make sure you talk alot(importnat stuff)

She is fun and interesting. I did not want to take speech and have speech anxiety but she made it easy for me. She gives you the grades you earn yourself.

don't really need the book.. Not an easy A, but if you do a lot of extra credit you should get an A.. don't be lazy.. she combines all the extra credit and can be worth an entire letter grade!.. besides she's very fun and entertaining... She's hyper and attractive so it works.. do the work and follow directions! and you'll do great

On the first day of class she puts on a front to seem like she's lax (by cussing and whatnot), but let me assure you, she is NOT lax. She may be funny, but don't let the other comments fool you. Everyone in my class I spoke with said she was the worst teacher they have ever had.

Awesome professor! Very easy going. But her tests are very hard (she will tell you that the first day of class and she MEANS it!) but if you find mistakes in the tests point them out and you'll get points added back to your grade! Other than that just do your speeches and it's a fun class!

First off, this teacher is HOT! Her class is TONS of fun as long as you are willing to get involved. She'll work with you on anything and she'll make sure you have the material down before test time. She makes the class interesting instead of the normal boring speech class. It can be a little difficult at times but still it's a good class. Take it.

For this class at a community college, I believe she takes it too seriously. It's great for a professor to love what they teach and be enthusiastic, but she gives hard assignments, expects perfection, and grades hard. I dislike professors thinking their class is most important. She does list extra credit opportunities, but if you don't have time...

LOOVED her! Class was always entertaining, and I learned a lot from her. Easy A, as long as you do all of the assignments. Took her in a summer class so everything moved fast, but I definitely would reccomend her to anyone!

Wow, not only was she one of the easiest professors to understand and learn from, but i literally could not get my eyes off her the entire semester. LOL this was the only class that I didnt miss or skip this semester. She's also into sports and really fun to talk to. Great class. A lot of work but I actually remember stuff I learned. Class discussions were good and as long as you do the work you'll be fine. She made communication fun and interesting. It have more of an interest in the subject now than before. Not for slackers though.

Very cool, cheezy and humourous! :) Classes are VERY fun! :) But be prepared to put in LOTS of hours doing the Cultural speech - woah - and also for the final speech too! :) Its easy A if you can work hard - well, its not very hard though! :) I will take this professor again if I get a chance though! :) Love her! :) lol

I would take her again if I could! Jenny is a really down to earth kind of teacher and her notes and practice quiz online basically make the test. The only hard part about the class is the speech work. Other than that easy A.

I took her class after not being in college for many years. She was AWESOME! Very down to earth. I didn't even do my final speech and still made a B. I never looked in my book- test are from class notes and online study quizzes! I would definately take it again!!!

Hottest and coolest teacher I had the whole year. I didnt even take the mid term but still passed her class. Really cool and chill. Good teacher and funny.

Took her for a Wintermester course and she did an outstanding job with the class. Really enjoyed everything about her teaching methods in a short period of time. Make sure you do no plagarize, she will get you. If you want to get flipped off just ask her she will be more than happy to take care of that for you on a daily basis. Professor is a must!

She is a great professor! I took her wintermester course, so it went by kind of fast. I HATED public speaking, but she made me realize it wasn't so bad after all. We had 3 speeches (all of which could be done with a partner/group) and one comprehensive final. NO PAPERS! She's laid back and understands that we ALL have lives outside of school!

I enjoyed having Professor Warren as an introduction to communications teacher. She's makes the earnest attempt to help each of her students succeed. She uses great stories as associations to the material given. At first, one may think that she's a pushover but she's one tough cookie when it comes to accountability so your grade is what you earned!

I dont like public speaking but this was a fun class. She is lenient and will work with you if you talk to her.

I absolutely love her and her teaching style, I'm taking every class I can with her. She won me over the first day of class when she told us that if she gave us a C and we believe that we deserved an A and could convince her we really deserved it by using our communications skills then she would change our grade to an A.

i DONT like presenting. I hate it, but i mean you get used to it. Only three speeches. The first one is about yourself, second about your job, third is a group presentation. SHe takes her class very seriously, a lot of work put into this project. It feels like your getting paid for it like a job, but really its just a class with a grade.

she's an awesome teacher. I was honestly dreading this class because I hate presenting, but it wasn't bad at all. You do have to do your work with some sort of effort and participate in class to get an A. But it's not that difficult. Plenty of extra credit. Fun Class!

Awesome in teaching style/maintaining interest through her personal enthusiasm. Allows you to turn in assignments early to be corrected in advance, allowing you to resubmit for perfect scores. Insists on accurate citations, which is something you should also insist upon.

Warren's method of teaching is fun and energetic, however she is condescending, conceited and could easily be described as power hungry. She expects respect without returning any to her students. If you choose to take her class, know MLA inside and out!!! She does NOT hesitate to fail you for "plagiarism". Be prepared for harsh grading. Good luck.

Hands down, one of the best professors I've ever had. Her teaching style keeps you interested throughout the course and her personality keeps is one of a kind. She does grade hard but that's to be expected. If you're looking for a class you can slack off in and still pass, this is not the one. HIGHLY recommend. Take notes. Study. Tests are easy.

She is great! I personally, am not a fan of speech but she knows her material very well and knows exactly how to explain it so that everyone understands. She uses lots of examples and always gets the class involved to talk about their own experiences. She wil work with you if you show her you are actually trying!

Jenny was awesome. She is a tough grader but I can honestly say that after taking her class I learned something. Her exercises are fun and really sink in! Make sure you pay attention to how to cite sources properly because that is her pet peeve. Also there is no textbook requirement. She's a lot of fun, you won't get bored for a second!

Love her! Not an 'easy' class. She is engaging and easy going. I don't understand why everyone is making such a big deal about her being 'anal' over plagiarizing. All collegiate work should be honest and she holds you to that.......She also purposefully uses an older edition book to ensure it's affordable and easy to get.

She was alright. She makes the class so easy but when it comes to the test its like she never went over the material. One thing i hated she would do is she says somethings for a grade and then its not a grade. It's an easy class but you have to pay 100% attention on every word she's saying. Does give out extra credit.

Jenny teaches more in the form of a conversation versus lecture. She will not cover everything in class so you need to read to do well on the tests. Go above and beyond if you want an A. Take advantage of ALL extra credit. If you are unsure if you did something right, have her check it-especially when you cite material. Doesn't hesitate to give 0.

THE BEST SPEECH TEACHER IVE EVER HAD. Do the work and you'll be fine, Jenni made speech a lot less terrifying, i would definitely take her again.

She's super funny. The class is never boring but she expects a lot out of the students. It's not an easy A class. Make sure to read the textbook because the exams are half lecture and half textbook.

Jenny was superb in her 1311 Honors Class. She was precise in teachings and expectations. I am about to graduate with my MS degree with a 3.88 overall GPA. Jenny had the majority to do with this. She pushed me to do my best and showed me how important it is to cite correctly. Want to succeed? Take her, and if you don't take her, you missed out!

This teacher was one of my FAVORITE teachers at collin college! She will make you work for your grade, but she is so much fun! She doesn't hold back in speech class and makes it fun to learn in her class. I would recommend her a thousand times!

GO TO CLASS, she mentions important things in class that she might not post. huge on plagarism,will give u the info u need, if u dont do it right you wont pass.

She is one of the best professors I've had in terms of knowing what she's teaching and being ecstatic about it. She grades kind of hard but only to teach you that mistakes shouldn't be made over and over again. If you don't understand the material, she does a great job using real life examples to explain anything. Participation is a biggie!!!

Great lectures and great at relating to the students in the class. She acts more like a person than a professor, which I really enjoyed. Class participation is what made this class great. There was always a way to relate a concept to something you've experienced. Classwise, this class was the usual as far as speech classes go. Would recommend.

Honors Speech- Every sem. Warren chooses a new topic to focus on, Fall 2016 was Sports. I am not a sports fan but I was able to find an aspect of sports that interested me due to self-directed student research. Class discussion focused on social issues eg racism, sexism, etc (W leans left but is open to hearing every opinion) Recommend highly!

Really cares about the subject and her students. Makes you think for yourself. Heavy on projects, which helped with learning material. Encourages lots of discussion and welcomes differing opinions. If you get a chance, TAKE PROFESSOR WARREN'S CLASS! She is an excellent teacher and teaches you how to do well in college, not just in her class.

You won't regret taking Jenny's class. 4 tests that you take twice, once on your own and once with a group, and a group speech. You have to read the book and show up to class because half of the test is questions from the book and half is questions from the lecture. Start the annotated bib assignment as soon as you get it. Overall a GREAT CLASS!!!!

Jenny makes everything fun and always has a story to tell (I find that this helps me remember her lectures when I'm testing). She isn't that tough of a grader, but if you don't read the textbook before the test, you will fail.

I took Professor Warrens class online for Maymester. It was a lot of work but that was expected for a 3 week course. Her lectures were really interesting and she made them fun to listen to. We had a online group speech that wasnt so bad. She is a tough grader, but overall the class was decent to me

Jenny is the best!! She expects you to be a college student, and show up to class. She does not take attendance but something is usually always due, and no late work is accepted. She is a great professor, and cares a lot about her students. You will not regret taking her. Just show up to class, participate, do your work and you will do great.

I was skeptical about taking her because of the rate here, but I'm glad I took her class. There is a group interview project at the end, which was honestly really easy. The quizzes, make sure you pay attention and take notes on her recording(if online). I took this class on winter and the assignment's time to completion is very limited.

She is a hard grader, but it allows you to win points if you can argue well why the question was not good. I took it for the second time speech, and she made me like it; I don't like to speak in front of people, but she made me comfortable enough to talk in front of the class. Great teacher.

Tough grader and has high expectations. Reading heavy, however was incredibly thorough and very understanding. If you can read a syllabus and listen to basic instructions, you will be fine. Her reviews are not accurate to how good of a professor Dr. Warren actually is.
