Ms. wiatrowski is a great professor.

Great teacher. Really knows her stuff and makes it easier to know. Breaks down each slide of Powerpoint so it's easily digestable. Class is somewhat challenging, but if you need help it's very easy get some. You can stop by during office hours, stay after class, e-mail her, post messages on coursecompass, and call her. I would reccomend her.

She is a great teacher and it is true that the subject is difficult. She does not hold your hand through the class so it is expected you will do lots on your own (studying and reading. She helped me learn lots about bio and I would take a course with her again if I did not transfer.

Lab was really hard, lecture was okay. She is a little disorganized, and even if she says it won't be on the exam, it might be. Otherwise she is a great prof, knows a lot about what she is teaching and has a fun sense of humor.

Hmm. I think she's acutally a good teacher. I took her two years ago for baby Bio. She knows how to break down the hardest concepts and is willing to help you. I got an A in the class, but her class is basically memorizing each powerpoint slides. Some test questions can be tricky and very detailed-oriented. She's intersting too. not a bad class.

Prof Wiatrowski is not hard at all, she pretty much tells you what to study (concentrate on the Powerpoints). She's really good, but if you screw off, you'll pay for it. Go to all classes, pay attention and study powerpoints for an easy A.

Biology I with jennifer is hard. Be prepared to read your textbook repeatedly, be on time at every class because if you miss something in class you're done, and forget about going out for the semester because it took everything i had to pull out an A. I actually deserved a B but she saw that i worked real hard for an A and she rewarded me for it.

Uh, from the online class she seemed alright. She didn't seem extra friendly but not cold... and it's only the internet. The course was really really really hard though. The questions were really detailed... not something you can just google! So read and understand the book. OH outline it too (that helps.)

Had her in Summer for the intro Bio for sci majors. This is a cellular biololgy class mainly. She explained photsynthesis clearly - a couple of times. I would have failed if not for her reinteration. >She does say that the whole chapter is fair game for testing.< Also testing on-line content from the textbook. Some students got 100% on a few tests.

Ms. Wiatrowsi is a great teacher. I did learn a lot from her class. Her lectures are clear and as long as you read the book and study you shouldnt have a problem. She will help you if you need it. although i wouldn't recommend taking her class in the summer, due to the fact that there is a lot of information covered.

Easy to follow in class. Tests are within context, no surprises. Her examples are easy to understand and memorable

The highest scoring people in the class are the ones who memorize all the material given in her lecture notes, and her "mastering biology program" quizzes while ignoring the book. The lab exams are a punch in the gut for anyone who doesn't take them seriously, use the review sheet she gives you and memorize the material. She is fun when off topic.

Here lecture personality is boring, however I have yet to meet a biology professor that was not boring while lecturing. She covers the information very well in her powerpoints she also has review questions in her powerpoints. Study the review questions, PP's and quizes there is no reason you should not get an A. Lab she is excellent and cares

GREAT teacher....very clear on what would be included on tests/quizzes. A little monotone during lecture, but the information got out there. Very knowledgeable on the subject and is willing to answer any questions you might have. BE PREPARED TO STUDY!!!!

She's kinda straight forward lecturing, but if you ever have any trouble and stop her after class she is amazing. She does a few things to help your grade if you don't test well, including weekly internet quizzes, assignments and bi-chapter in-class quizzes, the flip-side is if you don't need this help, they can grow tedious.

I both hated and loved this teacher and her class. It was a lot of fun and very frustrating. Treat this class like you're the only person in the room and ask whatever questions pop into your head. The teach is more than prepared to answer challenging questions.

I loved this class because the teacher can be very sweet and funny! But the course content was very difficult, as was the reading in the text book (boring!). Overall, the class is difficult if you don't study, but def ask questions because Mrs. Wiatrowski is SO helpful!

She is really helpful if you ask questions. Some of the work is online and some is in class, it gets kind of confusing but she gives weekly summaries. Make sure to print off her power points before class for notes, it makes life easier. Her labs will drive you crazy because she makes you wait for her to give you directions.

This class would have been alot harder if it was some other professor. You have to be willing to learn and interested in order to take this class. Overall, i think she's an amazing professor, who knows her stuff very well.She does care about her students, and would surprise a group test or quizzes at times.

She is very down to earth and helpful. Her power-points outline each chapter from text. Test can be difficult if you don't study. Overall, I would definitely recommend her because she is very understanding.

I have a feeling that some of these people grading low are simply slackers. I took this intro my first semester of college and got an A. Do your work and study your quizzes (all test questions come DIRECTLY from online (open book)quizzes) She also gave an online optional final. She also met with students before class if needed they help. She's cool

Easy class if you keep up with your work. Has online quizes that have questions on the tests in class. Gives powerpoints that are online, great for studying. Some used their books others didnt. Masterbio is amazing to study with. Some struggled but those were the ones that didnt study. Keep up with mastering and the days lecture and youll make an A

Very difficult class, she demands a lot of assignments both in class and homework. Her tests are very difficult. Also if she does not like you you will know it.

I have taken her for Bio 1 and 2 and also Anatomy and Physiology Lab. I HIGHLY recommend her.My guess is most of the negative comments come from slackers.If you use the mastering, actually STUDY(not stare blankly at your notes) and participate, you will do well.She provides free tutoring for those that actually want the help.She does expect effort!

Prof. W was super nice....her class was based on Text.. a LOT, BUT she does give powerpoint and flashcard glossary for online course...all you need is in the text, though. The tests are difficult....but ONLY because you ACTUALLY have to WORK and LEARN to find the answers...she let us work at our n pace,GREAT response time to any questions! AWESOME!

Wiatrowski is a great teacher. You have to understand what you are reading. I was very scared because I had no prior chemistry lectures and the beginning was based a great deal about chemistry.

Good professor. Class is challenging. If you do all your work and are not a slacker you will pass this class. Tests are very text specific. You must study in this class. I would recommend this teacher if you actually want to learn and not just coast through.

I took this class online, and found it super easy and helpful. She gives extra credit and the tests are straight from the text. Assigniments are easy too... I HIGHLY recommend

She was by far the best science teacher I have ever had. She is very helpful and knows her material. This class is not a walk in the park. You must study and she does give out a lot of work but it is helpful. Only neg thing would be group quizzes. It stinks when you study and the other person doesn't and gets the benefit of a good grade.

Professor Wiatrowski goes through lectures pretty fast but she is there after class for her to clear up the material for you. There are quizzes but they are all with a group and you have the option to ask her help and the answer of one question per quiz. She loves Mastering Biology assignments. Overall she is a great professor for science majors.

Professor Wiatrowski is an amazing teacher! Yes the material can difficult and is a lot to take in but if you study and really try to understand it you will succeed in this course. She is very willing to help you with course work. Those who complain are those who didn't try to succeed. I would take her for every science course if she thought them!

You will read every page in the book but at least you are getting your monies worth. She's great at getting back to you and she will help you. She is a great teacher. Tests are hard but just make sure you read every page and you will be fine.

Amazing professor!!! Definitely expect to study and spend time doing homework assignments, but it is all helpful stuff, no busy work. She gives well thought out lectures with examples and draws images to help visual learners. I would definitely take her again! I got an A, but I put in at least a few hours of study a week. She's a great teacher, the class in general is hard.. Bio is something you HAVE to study but professor W makes it fun and very interesting. Also, she is always willing to help so if you don't pass its because you didn't ask for help. I highly recommend her to someone who might have trouble with this kind of course.

Personally, I loved this class because she made me like biology. I have had bad science teachers In the past but she made me truly engaged and appreciate biology. Lots of homework but it helps you learn and her lectures aren't word to word from a powerpoint. She really knows her stuff

Best professor I've had. Really cares about teaching and is really good at it. She makes the class interesting and wants you to do well. Bio requires a lot of studying, so if you don't do well on the exams then it's your fault.

She would send us messages at the end of every week explaining exactly what was due next week and what to plan and study for. You were never lost in her class and she posts EVERYTHING online!

I see Professor Wiatrowski has a lot of reviews that say she gives a lot of homework, her lectures are heavy with little time to process. Well welcome to college sweetheart. She teaches her bio classes like four year university classes. Expect to work your butt off. She is one of the best science professor's I've ever had. Lots of hw and studying.

I took Professor Wiatrowski for Bio 1 & 2. Best decision ever. She's a wonderful teacher. Bio 1 tests were straightforward. Bio 2 tests were more concept based. I was able to maintain an A in both. The people that are leaving negative comments probably didn't put in the time or effort. If you put in time, you will be successful. Highly recommend.

Mrs. Wiatrowski is great! If you get a bad score, it's on you. Biology isn't a Humanities course; it's a core class, and prerequisite course for Medical School, it will not be easy - you will have to work. She was an awesome instructor, and I'll be taking her for Bio 2.

Wiatrowski is definitely one of my favorite professors. YES there is a lot of homework, but it's all online & reinforces the material covered in class. She is really passionate about biology and makes it fun to learn! She doesn't outright give you extra credit but several of her tests have bonus questions that can boost your grade! 100% recommend!

Wiatrowski is everything you would expect for a Bio teacher. A bit nerdy with some dry humor and a love for anything that has foliage. You're gonna want to attend every single class, because she usually hands out group quizzes with no warning or group in class projects. No extra credit will ever be an option. She is a hard grader as well!

Professor Wiatrowski is an amazing teacher who clearly has a passion and love for Biology. I am in the Biology 1 class and plan on taking Bio 2 with her. Biology isn't necessarily an easy subject, so you have to study. Make sure you take the practice tests on Mastering biology before exam day and that will really help you!

She is a great professor and she enjoys what she teaches. It is really easy to get in contact with her and she has study sessions before each test. The course itself is very time consuming, there's a lot of homework and the exams are long. If you pay attention in class and use the online material you will do fine. I got an A without a textbook.

Honestly, all of the classes i have taken with Wiatrowski have been great. Were they challenging? yes! these are your core level science classes and you need to be prepared to work for your grade. She makes learning about biology fun.

I took her for both Bio 1, and Bio 2. She's an amazing teacher, and shes an amazing. Her exams are based on the book, so there won't be any surprises. This class was intense. But whenever I got a bad grade, I knew it because of me being lazy, rather than her being inept. I couldnt blame her, and thats the mark of a great teacher.

I honestly love her. Even though this is a tough course, she is very willing to help you. She doesn't make you feel stupid when you have questions and is very clear what will be on the test. There is a lot of homework, but the homework honestly helped me remember the material more. Took her for bio 1 and 2 and wish I could take her for every class.

I would definitely recommend this professor for anyone needing to take Biology 1 or 2. She completely knows her stuff and is very passionate about it. Draws a lot of pictures on her PowerPoints, cares if you understand the material, accessible outside of class, doesn't really use book in lecture but does use lab manual. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Shes a great teacher and will directly say "This will be on the test" or will go over a topic several times that will be on the test. No study guides but if your lecture notes are good and you do all the homework you should do fine.

She was very quick and responsive whenever I had questions, which was great since this was an online human bio course. Assignments were very straight forward and interesting. Definitely use the textbook if you want to secure an A. She drops your lowest quiz and exam scores which is nice. Highly recommend

This is one of the best teachers I've had. She will absolutely help you, and provides many different ways to help you learn (worksheets, videos, online assignments). I recommend her 100%. It's Biology, of course it will be hard, so if you don't pay attention during lecture you will get lost. She's got a dry sense of humor which makes her funny.

This is a Biology class & it can get confusing if you don't pay attention to her lectures & class notes. She does give a lot of homework but it is to help you memorize & understand the chapters more. She offers study sessions on & off campus. If you ask for help she'll help you. Group quizzes every other day. She's a good teacher overall.

She's knows a lot about biology but her tests are hard. I failed most and she has no extra credit. She explains things but to a level of understanding I'm not at yet. If you are ready to put in 10+ hours into studying every week then take it otherwise I wouldn't.

Very difficult, but highly intelligent professor. 5 exams and a lot of homework, no late work allowed and there are no grade drops. Very serious professor, but cares for her students and replies to emails quickly and will help you anytime outside of class. Exams are hard but are manageable if you put in a lot of work.

Wiatrowski is passionate about biology and is good at teaching all that she knows! Her tests are difficult, so study and tutor with her, one-on-one! Dont buy the book, use the slides and ebook. She wants to help you pass but ultimately, its up to you and the work you put in.

Prof W. is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. If you are looking for an "Easy A" this is not the class for you. If you are looking to be challenged and really learn how to become a better student and ultimately better scientist professor W is an god sent. Her lectures are strong and she provided excellent additional study materials.

I took this class online over the summer. Super easy work, but there are a lot of assignments. You can check your homework to make sure it is 100% correct before submitting and submit it unlimitedly. Quizzes and tests are on Quizlet. Assignments you watch a video or read a paper and answer 10 questions. Cannot work ahead.

Ive taken many online classes and when I tell you she cares genuinely for your success Im not kidding. She will remind you weekly incase you forget about assignments and even gives a grace period at the end of the semester. I took her online for summer which is much fast paced but I would 100% take her again. Make sure you keep up with due dates!

Lots of online homework outside of class, but lectures are very helpful and informative. Beware, she is a tough grader, however, will always give good feedback on the short answer questions. As long as you don't fall behind on the online homework and halfway pay attention in lecture, you'll have a good time

I have had this women for both BIO's and now for environmental. She is very knowledgable. For BIO she can be a tough grader, but thats to be expected for a science course. Her labs are no joke and make sure you study your slides for BIO 2 lab its basically the whole final. She likes students who try harder than average college students. Study!

Professor Wiatrowski is a wonderful teacher, she is passionate about Biology and wants you to not only recite the information but to truly learn it. She does quizzes in groups which is super helpful. You will learn a lot from her but be prepared to work for your grade, there are no excuses in her class!

I have taken her for several classes online, work is the online work book, home work from the online book and a quiz 10 questions with 20 mins to do. She is a nice and understanding teacher. Glad to have had her and will be taking her again.

I had taken Professor Wiatrowski for both Bio1 and Bio2 with the lab. If you go to class determined and eager to learn then you'll do fine. I found myself reading more than I ever had in my life... I don't like to read, but it paid off. She is accessible and willing to help any student who needs it. She will find time for students with questions

As long as you put forth the effort in class, you will find her to be amazing. If you don't care, I would find another professor to take. She is very knowledgable and her lectures were always interesting to me. Homework amount is normal, and tests were challenging but she does curve. I failed AP bio in high school but passed her class with a 94%

I have taken several classes with this Professor. She is clear and direct, she cares about her students and makes learning fun. Her videos are amazing and I have learned a lot in her classes. There is a lot of homework, study work, and then 10 question quizs. If you do your work easy class. If you procrastinate it will be hard. Loved this class.

Professor Wiatrowski is incredible and if you are looking to take Bio 1 take it with her. The class is structured with exams worth 75% and assignments worth 25%, however, the tests are fairly easy if you go to class and read the textbook (the majority of the test is multiple choice). She is always open to questions and responds quickly.

Pay attention to the lectures, textbook, quizzes, and study guides to do well on exams. Exams are worth 75% of your overall grade so study A LOT. Memorization is KEY. Ive never been the best at science but I learned a lot and ended up with a B. If you do not NEED to take this class for credit I wouldnt suggest it just because its pretty tough.

I took Bio I Lab online and really enjoyed it! She provides a list of items youll need for each week lab. As long as you participate and do the worksheets/quizzes you will be fine. Only 2 exams, but theyre worth a large portion of your grade so make sure to study! FYI, A lot of what we learned about included macromolecules and genetics.

I took Professor Wiatrowski this past fall and she was great. There is kinda a lot of homework but nothing too bad. For every test, she gives out a study guide, so I recommend making flashcards and studying them (it helped me earn an A every time). She is very nice and makes the lectures easy to understand. I highly recommend taking her class.
