Is very clear in what she expects from the class, but is also very helpful and willing to work with you if anything is difficult or your grade is suffering. Going to class is important because many test questions were based off lectures. Material was easy to follow and Professor Winward worked hard on making difficult concepts as clear as possible.

She does a great job of using examples to clarify some concepts that may seem confusing just with the textbook definition. The textbook is an easy and nice read if you're still confused after class.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Psyc 4 was super fun and interesting and it's all because she was funny and approachable and made the topics engaging for all of us. There are three units, each with a midterm, but the content is broken up in that way to make it easier to be tested. So don't be scared of the three midterm thing.

PSYC 116 is a challenging class but it's actually so important for grad school. Dr. Winward makes everything about the class catered directly to students' needs for improved skills for grad school. She is my favorite professor I had at UCSD - no question.

Grades based on 3 midterms and a final so you have to study to get the grade you want. All mcq. Lectures posted online but she explains the concepts more in depth in class while the posted lectures are basic. If you like the 3 midterm scores you get, you don't have to take the final, or you can skip a midterm and take the final. Funny and caring.:)
