Easy class in general. ISP 120 Math and Technical Literacy. If you know Microsoft Excel you will do fine. All the homework is in Excel. You have weekly homework that is like 5 problems. 30 minutes tops. Take this class with her.

She is the easiest teacher ever. I took her for Stats II and she explains everything so well that it's impossible not to understand. You don't need a book at all and there are 3 exams that are super easy. Take her, shes awesome at teaching and you will actually be interested in what she's saying.

Definitely an easy class but mainly because she teaches the subject so well. Definitely take her if your a psych major because she'll teach in a way that you'll never forget stats!

I had to take the quant. reas. class as a requirement, but ended up enjoying it and learning a lot. She really is a nice and helpful teacher and her class is understandable and fun.

She is really nice if you get to know her, pretty strict, though. Doesn't hand out easy grades to everybody, you have to work for it. She is very young (grad student), but a very talented professor. I highly recommend her.

Zimmerman knows how to teach! Plus she is sexy!!! Goes slow with each chapter (except for the two week review period of all the other stuff). All in all, she teaches the subject well and assists anyone who needs assistance. Two thumbs up!

Zimmerman is in fact a very good teacher, a far cry from my last stats professor. She manages to make a subject like stats easy to pick up on, and she works well with students. Textbook was hardly used. Still, despite her superb intellectual and social skills, all I could think about during class was how much she looks like Felicity Fey.

shes so nice and takes it slow and explains very well. I had an awful teacher for stats 1 and was really worried for 2. You can tell that she really cares about you doing well. there are 3 tests and you are allowed a cheat sheet which helps to remember things. Take her. Highly recommend

Very easy going class. Mid Term and final are extreme difficult but she gives extra credit throughout the course. Expect a paper and test every week.

Great teacher! I struggle with math and she made statistics II so clear! She explains things extremely well. Come to class, pay attention, do the work, and you will do great in the class! I would definitely recommend her.

Wow. I don't know what prompted the rest of these comments. Dr. Zimmerman is one of the best professors I've had. Her teaching style is effective and clear. She is very helpful and a fair grader. There are 5 HW assignments, 4 labs, and 3 exams. The lowest HW and lab are dropped. It's not a blow off class by any means, but come on, it's Stats 2.

I think her methods are fine, I've always been bad at math and failed a statistics class in the past. I was able to learn and understand the concepts and her examples really helped. I learned a lot in the class. As long as you don't miss class and take good notes you'll do well

I have had nothing but good experiences with this instructor. Her tests are hard, but fair, reflecting the READING material. Go to class, listen and read... Zimmerman is tough and you will learn in her class... whether you learn the hard way or not is up to you!

Dr. Zimmerman is AMAZING!! I took her online course and it was so easy! All of the homework has an example of previous homework from students with good grades so if you follow it to the T you can do well. Her notes are exactly like the material on the quizzes. Do the work, study! EXTREMELY HELPFUL.LOVE HER! Take This professor.

I think prof Zimmerman is a great teacher. She is willing to go over examples if you don't understand the material and the homework helps with concepts. If you study you will do well on tests.

She is truly the best professor for math. I have a learning disability in math and I have an A in her class. She is so nice and so approachable as well and is PATIENT. I was scared of Stats and now am not because of her. She cares for her students and tries to make Stats as fun as possible.

Professor Zimmerman is by far the BEST Stats 240 professor at DePaul. Yes, you will have to work...but c'mon people we are in college. Do you REALLY want information spoon fed to you? Anyway, she's extremely helpful and explains the material explicitly. Unfortunately, she ended up not teaching PSY 340 which was a HUGE shame.

I had Dr. Zimmerman for Stats 240. I thought she was great! She really takes the time to explain the concepts in her notes and she puts them all on d2L. Our class has high averages for her exams. Not too much homework and she usually tells you ahead of time when assignments are due. Offers extra credit too! Great for stats!

Dr. Zimmerman is a great stats teacher. She is clear and will stop to explain something in more detail until you understand or will offer to stay after class to help. You have to pay attention and never miss class. She is very accommodating and caring if personal issues arise during the quarter. You do need to study and I recommend finding a buddy

She is an amazing professor that cares about how her students are doing in class. You are allowed to bring a page of notes front and back to her exams. Need I say more?

I definitely recommend taking her online class. It was definitely do-able. She clearly laid out what she wanted for the assignments and projects. It was easy to finish assignments early, and she gives clear feedback. She also gives really good extra credit, which you should take advantage of. Take this class, you won't regret it!

One of the best professors at Depaul! Her lectures are very interesting and she keeps you engaged in the material. She is a very generous grader and the midterm and final exams are not hard, study the material and you'll be fine. She uses many examples in her lectures to explain phenomenas. Professor Zimmerman is great. Her lectures are a breeze to sit through so coming to class isn't a drag, like some. She is funny and encourages participation with activities. The paper assignments in this class were not tough and were only ever 2 pages maximum, very do-able, especially if you're taking some tougher classes along with this one.

Dr. Zimmerman is a very sweet woman. She was always willing to meet with me when I was confused and made things clear within just a few minutes. She is a hard grader and the final project does involve putting in a good amount of work, but if you stay on top of the deadlines, you should get an A in the class!

I love her!!! She made social psychology very interesting. She basically lectures the whole time yet it is still fun and interesting. Would 100% take again! Also you only have 3 papers and two tests throughout the whole course it's very easy.

Your typical lecture class. Sometimes her lectures were boring and long but she usually did interesting in class activities and shows lots of videos about studies. Pretty straight forward with what she was looking for. Weekly quizzes, three short papers and two exams.

I have never taken such a difficult online class before. She was an insane grader and NEVER gave enough time to answer all the questions on the quiz. Reading was a lot but it wasn't difficult. Her grading was just very unfair and she liked to think she was teaching a GRAD level class. Stay away if you can

Her online course was definitely not that hard. It's a 300-level COLLEGE class, what do you expect? Everything is laid out perfectly. Set aside some time to review her lecture/take notes, and you'll be golden. I used the book to review concepts I didn't quite understand from the lecture, but it was no biggie. Tons of extra credit!

She gives a lot of extra credit..I think like 30 points or so. However, we only had 39 min to complete the 10 online quizzes and its not enough time to finish! The quizzes really brought down my grade. But I still ended up with a B.

This is a statistics class, so there is always work to do. With much effort from the student, Zimmerman makes this class as easy, understandable as possible. Theres homework, lab and 3 exams but all worth every class. Class is mandatory but attending is best as she does not post solutions to problems on slides. Wold definitely take her again.

She is one of the best psych professors. I took Social Psychology with her and Statistics I. She makes class bearable by having a fantastic personality. She is reasonable and as long as you put effort and hard work in, you will be fine. She really tries to help you and wants you to succeed.

Loved professor Zimmerman! Theres a midterm, final, and final project. She gives you 2 days in class to do your final project with a partner(plenty of time to get it done) and its actually really fun! She also allows a cheat sheet for both the midterm and final. Show up to class and do the work, youre all good! Id take her again!

All in all great professor. I took her for both stats classes. Take her over the other stats professors for your own sake. She explains conceptual concepts you will need for research methods. Tests are conceptual and SPSS based. She has EC, SPSS labs, and homework. Dont buy the book, you wont need it. Good person & good professor.

Ive taken Professor Zimmerman for three different courses. Shes such a great professor. She is always there whenever you need help and always communicates with everyone. She provides excellent feedback. Ive loved all of the courses Ive taken with her. As long as you read the book and watch the lectures, its an easy A

I really enjoyed taking Professor Zimmerman. She is caring and willing to help. You do need to show up for the class; otherwise, you will fall behind. I learned a lot from her, and she is very passionate about Statistics. I was scared of taking Statistics, but she made it easy for me to learn. I can say that I enjoy statistics. Took her WQ2020.

After taking her for Stats I, she inspired me to take Stat's II. She is caring and willing to work with you. Due to the pandemic the class was offered online and she made it possible for us to learn. I really enjoyed taking her class and would take her again if possible. Highly recommend her. I took her for SQ2020.

Professor Zimmerman is a great teacher, the course is designed clearly and organized well. Although there's a good amount of assignments, it's definitely doable as long as you ask questions for clarity. The async class is probably a bit more difficult than the sync class but it wasn't too bad and she made herself available to answer any questions.

The class is interesting but it is hard! The quizzes you only get one attempt and whatever you get that's your grade. She does offer 4 extra credit assignments but it is lecture and quiz heavy.

Professor seriously cares about her students and is always willing to help. The class was not difficult at all it is so straightforward. If you literally just watch her lectures and pay attention there is no reason for you not to get a good grade in the class. She is so sweet!

I heard mixed things abt this class, but I had a pretty good time. For the majority of the qtr you work on your sections for your final paper and presentation. She has a lot of EC opportunities that I suggest you take advantage of bc her grading is fair but also questionable bc her instructions were kinda vague. I would take another class with her!

The course was pretty straightforward. Watching her online lectures helped a lot, and she was really understanding when you would reach out to her for help. Came into the course expecting stats to be hard causes that's what I always heard but it was pretty easy to me (and I usually suck at math).

She takes off some points for little things on HW but if you do the EC you should be fine. There are 3 easy and open-book exams, no final. TAKE HER!

Lecture in the form of videos- very helpful- paper for a final- the class is easy if you read the chapters assigned- study and make sure you take the quizzes- she gives many opportunities for extra credit! Overall great class and I learned a lot about social psych!

Took this class for my minor. I really liked it! Weekly quiz and sometimes a discussion post to do each week, biggest assignment was a final 4-page reflection paper due at the end of the quarter. Very straightforward online class, I would recommend Professor Zimmerman.

Dr. ZImmerman is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explains each concept. There are occasional homework assignments due, which I found to be a little more tedious than in-class content. However, she is very approachable and encourages students to ask questions about the lessons and homework. I would take this professor's class again!

She loves to help her students. Whenever I would email her, she would respond with an Indepth explanation of the material.
