She's HOT! She's a good instructor whose willing to help.

She is definitely good looking, but her tests are really comprehensive and require a lot of reading and studying. The most studying I have done for a gen ed class ever.

She's trying just a bit too hard to be cool. She is a little immature & can spend a little less time trying to pump up her ego with words like academia and the absent minded professor crap

She is one of the coolest teacher in the school. She is very helpful outside of class and during as well. It is good to know that professors like her care for their students. Did I mention she was also hot?

I liked her very much. She's very energetic and a fun teacher. I have never seen her act snotty ever. Every time I see her on campus she always says hi and even remembers my name. I'll have her again for Marriage and Family. I can't wait!

The best 8AM class you'll ever take. don't sleep in, you can't make up quizzes. if you wake up late, go to a later class, she'll give you attendence points. she'll help you out, just ask.

Jen K is awesome! Take her if you get the chance. She is one of the few who CARES about her job. She's quick to help if you need anything.

Jenny was an awesome professor. I had her for intro to soc and marriage and family. I was never bored in her class and she made learning the subject fun and easy to understand. i would take any class i could with her just because she is such a good teacher.

Jenny is a very fun teacher with a lot of spunk. Her tests are long but do your work and you'll do fine.

Jenny is a great techer. She is young and knows her stuff. We could ask her anything and she would have an answer for us. She does know her stuff and i think she teaches her class well. If you don't go over your notes at all you are not going to get a good grade.

She is fabulous. She walks on the edge of the blade when it comes to any topic. She is paitant with people that inerupt her and are irritating. She is full of spunk and has alot of good Ideas. Her presentations of the lecture are good and to the point.

She seems to know her stuff. Will go off other sources but add her own spin to things. Seems like she's opinionated but doesn't let that interrupt the class lectures. And oh yeah, she's really hot.

JENNY IS AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!! Don't be stupid, and take her class, you will have fun. It's not that hard, she will make you work a little bit, and you will not regret after taking her class. One of the best teachers I've ever had.

I also took intro to soc. with her. I think she is amazing. Yes she reads from sources and does powerpoint but she does also add her own stuff to it, like personal stories, past experiences in her field, etc. Jenny is nice, hot (I'm a girl and I said it). Take her class! You'll like it. Her and Haverly should get together b/c they are the profs..

JK is a great professor. She keeps class fun, always saying something that will catch you off guard and have you leave laughing. She has an open door policy and invites students to take advantage of her office hours. She also advises one of the campus clubs, SHAPE. If Soc isn't really your thing, at lease she's hot.

Pretty easy class if you show up, and put a little effort forth. She offers about 20 points extra credit, but her tests are a little harder, so you should study for them. She's interesting and isn't afraid to say off the wall random things. Pretty cool teacher, I'd take her again, plus she's pretty and young.

Loved this class. Power point notes, 2 papers, 4 tests, they are kinda hard, study the theories! & 10 random 10 point attendance days (they totally help!) We had some good class discussions and Jenny is VERY open-minded =)

She's a great teacher, she's clear and organized. Her tests are a little difficult. There are two papers which are pretty easy. She gave lots of extra credit which helped.

She is fun and nice and easy to understand. all powerpoints are online! doesnt care if you come or not. Her test tho` are 50 Q's in 50 mins and an essay... but if you know your material its easy!!! An amazing teacher. Starting Rock Valley I was an education major but switched because of how interesting she made the field of Sociology. There is a project due towards to end of the semester but I loved my placement. Overall a very good class and I would recommend her. Also, I would recommend Marriage and Family as she teaches it also.

Absolutely amazing teacher. Wish she taught more subjects. I hated sociology because of a bad experience with a different teacher. Jenny made it so easy and understandable with real life examples and humor. She is so good that she helps you remember things, therefore less time studying. Again, what a great teacher she is!

I took her on-line class, it was low stress. I'm personaly unterested in this subject, but she made it easier to get through the course.

Amazing teacher - teaches from the book, but makes it very easy to understand the concepts of an intro level class. She makes the topics interesting, is very personable (the kind you'd want to hang out with outside of class), and is willing to go above and beyond for students. Very down to earth, which makes you look forward to going to class.

One word to describe her: HOT! She is a great teacher otherwise, she teaches using notes over a projector and the exams are easy. There is even an online site she gives you to help you study... O yeah, and there isnt a ring on the finger lol so HOT and single

I took her internet class, so I didn't get to experience her apparent in-class awesomeness; however, she was still a great teacher. Well organized, very friendly and interactive, helpful, and didn't give very hard assignments or tests. I recommend her!

I took Jenny 3 times and she was the best teacher I had at Rock Valley. She is a very helpful teacher and she is willing to spend any of her free time trying to help you become a better student. Young, Good looking, and very professional teacher. I will be certain to keep in contact with her as I continue my schooling outside of Rock Valley College

One of the most interesting teachers I've ever had. She just demands attention, brings personal anecdotes into everything she teaches, and finds a way to make everyone understand the material. Helpful study guides and guidelines for papers, and always available for outside help. Excellent class!

One of the best professors at RVC. This is my second class with her and I loved it. If you understand and remember the theories from 190 you will do just fine in this class. She gives you study guides for the test and gives you detailed guidelines for essays. The research project kind of sucked but overall it was a good class.

Of all my teachers and classes at Rock Valley she is the most awesome and helpful teacher I ever have. Not to mention she is very very Hot and I didnt see a ring on her finger so she might be single.LOL...but if you ever want to take a Sociology Class take her, she is just Amazing!!!!!

J. Kosinski was straightforward wtih her expectations. Mostly readings and discussions. One of the few online courses that I've taken that has not utilized a Pearson Lab product as the textbook. Only two tests were taken, a midterm and a final, which is great, because Sociology was much better understood through discussion.

Not much to say other than prolly the best professor you will have during your time at RVC. Class is literally too entertaining sometimes.

There is at least one discussion to be completed every week, but only a few big homework assignments. The midterm and final are both done online and are passable. Overall, this was a really great class and she is an awesome teacher!

Really good teacher! I'm taking another one of her classes next semester. Her lectures are kindve long with not a whole lot of participation but there is some! She's clear about her expectations, she is funny, and she presents the information in a way that is easy to understand! Highly recommend her as a teacher!!

Pros: Nice, understanding, easy papers. Cons: Attendance is worth a total of 50 points. If you're sick she doesn't care, it's a 0 for the day! Study guides are helpless, basically gives you 10 broad topics per chapter vs a teacher who is more specific on what the tests are on. It was very annoying. Poor feedback, if majoring in in Soc take Crane.

She makes the class interesting and enjoyable. If you show up for lecture you will probably understand everything and do well on tests. Homework-if you do it you get credit and they are easy, short. plus 2 extra credit hw at the end of the semester. 2 easy papers. She will help with any questions and explain differently if you don't understand.

I love her so much, I'm taking her for Social Problems in the fall! Really sweet, really smart, clear about what she expects. Someone else said attendance counted for points in their class, but I missed like 4 classes cause I have depression and it didn't mess up my grade at all. Would absolutely recommend!

One of my favorites at RVC. What's expected is clearly spelled out to you. Not a terribly difficult class if you simply do the work. Prof K is hilarious and very intelligent. I have a lot of respect for her as a prof and in general as a person with thought.

This class was relatively easy if you read the book and completed the assignments. The professor was extremely funny and gave good lectures. I would highly recommend taking her class.

She's a pretty good professor. She lectures like you already know most things about Sociology, but you eventually start to grasp things on your own. She's a little difficult in the beginning, but you get used to how she teaches. I used the textbook once, don't buy it. Pay attention during lectures, and you'll pass just fine.

Her lectures were engaging and it was great to participate in them and get immediate feedback if we were understanding the topics being addressed.

I hate sociology, but Professor Kosinski is the best! Always responds promptly to e-mails (even on the weekends!) and is always willing to help is you ask. There are no quizzes, but there are two exams and two papers as well as weekly discussions and sometimes homework.

I dreaded taking SOC 190 because I did not like the subject from previous experience, but I loved this class and Kosinski is a great professor! She gives interesting lectures and helpful feedback on assignments. I learned so much and I wish I could take more sociology classes.

Professor Kosinski is an amazing professor! While the course is difficult, especially the service project, she will work with you and explain concepts in more depth. There are a lot of papers but as long as you stay motivated they aren't very difficult. She is very passionate and seems to genuinely care about what she is teaching!

Take her if you need to get Sociology over with. Lectures are good and she's a caring person. I did not do well on her exams but her homework and 2 papers really helped my grade a lot. She also offers 2 extra credit opportunities that were really easy. Overall, great teacher to get this class out of the way.

She is a great professor; very friendly, funny, and not too challenging to get an A if you do what she asks from you. Tests were not too challenging, homework was easy, and the 2 papers took time but she did not grade too harsh. definitely recommend.

Her lectures and powerpoints are amazing. You don't even need to read the book just study her powerpoints and you'll get an A on tests. 2 major papers in semester see her in office hrs she basically grades your paper in there and then you can fix it and have an easy 100% on both papers. Would take again, she's super funny too.

Miss Kosinski gives the most amazing feedback on assignments. If you are a student who needs motivation, you will get that from her feedback. I couldn't wait to get my grades just to see what feedback she gave to me. She also grades assignments pretty quickly. That takes away from the anxiety of waiting for your grades. I highly recommend her.

I had Prof. Kosinski for an online asynchronous class! She did post a lecture for my class which helped a lot in the beginning. She's a great professor for async. Just make sure to put the effort into assignments, exams, and papers. She gives great feedback. You'll also need the book in order to do well! Good luck :D

I have taken Professors Kosinski for SOC 190 as well, but her classes are definitely interesting! She doesn't make you write a lot of papers so don't worry and you have to read some of the material to get a better understanding of what is being taught but you can for sure pass her class! I would 100% recommend taking her class!

Incredible teacher. Shes funny and engaging, very understanding and she leads you through concepts. You have two papers in this class but they are easy if you use your time. Non judgemental and genuinely wants to help you learn. Loved this class and this teacher.
