It is very easy to get an A on this course if you don't miss classes and do all your homework. She is cool ;)

i like her class cause she tells you how accounting work is done in the real world. gave me good advice to take classes and apply for other schools.

i dont know about these other students, but i felt that she was so easy to understand.I have no acct background and im getting a solid A. I dont even read the book and i still understand it through her lectures. as long as you do all the work youre fine.

I dropped Acct1 last semester because I didn't like the teacher. I'm taking with Ms Resnick now. Her lectures are clear and she grades homework right away. She's a good teacher!

I find her lectures very easy to understand. Her handouts are great. There's so much to study, but she organizes things in the handouts and makes it easier. I didn't get an A, but I still think she's a great teacher.

Think she is a fantastic teacher, with amazing clarity. If you do the work, the quizzes are fairly easy, and with a bit of studying, you breeze the tests. Whoever said that you leave the class with no accounting background is OUT OF THEIR MINDS and obviously just didn't attend class.

It's crazy for anyone to say that Ms. Resnick taught little, cause she's a great teacher. Explain things real well. Homework are easy points to earn, quizzes & exam are fair. Highly recommended!!

This teacher is very clear. You get all the information you need, participation requirement is minimal to nothing, and you learn. However, beware of her test. You must study everything in detail for the test, but hw and quizes are easy.

Very Good Teacher! ONLINE auditing class. Very difficult material for me. You have to get study guide and study your brains out. New and strange terminology. You have to be self-motivated to do well in self-study. Very fair grader, but multiple choice tests were not so easy as you might think. Material can be very dry and confusing. Don't give up!!

Very organized, clear, pretty firm though. Weekly quizzes, turned-in homeworks, 1 midterm, 1 final, & 1 small group proj. U must work HARD in this class. Tests & quizzes are pretty much detailed from textbook. In short, READ the text carefully.

This was the most challenging online class I've taken, but well worth the effort. Prof. Resnick was knowledgable, helpful, and fair. My only criticism is with some of the test bank-generated MC/TF questions on the quizzes and exams; occasionally, they were poorly-worded, or addressed nuances not covered in the text or the homework.

Not an easy class if you dont come class and do all your work. You have to do all your Hwork, quizes and group project in order to pass the class.

Take her class! She is well organized, clear, helpful and a fair grader. The amount of work is just right. And you do learn from her!

If you want to learn about accouting and not only an easy A, take her. All you have to do is attend all her classes, she gives weekly quizzes(EASY), and has weekly homework Due(easy). She is very helpful and cares for her students, Answers all your questions. Only draw back in my opinion was she takes roll, other than that, she is perfect.

She is a great teacher: clear, to the point, enjoys teaching, and cares for the students (esp. those that show interest and participate). The subject itself takes some dedication and homework is weekly. She is also fairly strict (forget about cheating in this class), but if your here to learn and understand accounting, she is the perfect teacher!

Great teacher if this is your first accounting course... Only drawback is how long the lectures drag because most of the work can be explained in half the time. Do your hw, come to class and you'll find it a breeze.

Took Acct 1 online. The most organized material and presentation I've ever seen. As far other comments I've read here, I actually can use this in my career so don't assume you'll never see acct after this class. Wasn't an extremely hard course. Expect to learn a lot and allocated about 6-8 hours a week during the short 8-wk course. I was impressed.

Awesome teacher. Very thorough, and had very good study guides and quizzes to prepare you for the scheduled exams every week. The homework assignments are what really made me nail down the accounting steps. I feel confident in the material and skills that I learned in this class.

Prof. Resnick is great! You might not need a book if you come to all classes and listen to her explanations. if you miss a class-the work load is 3 times more.

Took this class online. This was a challenging and worthwhile experience. She has wkly quizzes that are fair if you read the book and notes. The midterm and final is composed of M/C, T/F & essay q's but not comulative. Also has 2 audit cases is very clear and helpful in class disc. Study everything she provides & you'll do just fine. Best professor ever! I took this class because it was required for business transfers but I ended up falling in love with accounting. She makes everything so clear. If you pay attention in class and put the effort in, you will be fine! Highly recommend this class.

Professor Resnick is perfect. I guarantee you'll get an A if you understand what she's explained. She's very clear. The exam's very easy as long as you pay good attention to her and study from handouts she provides. She barely uses textbook. There will be 12 quizzes (mcq), 2 mini quizzes (mcq) and 12 homework (online). RESNICK ROCKS! LOVE HER!

I had Prof. Resnick for Acct 1. I have taken several accounting courses since. I take online classes. I find most online teachers to be "administrative" - they rely heavily on publisher resources and don't "teach" as much. Prof. Resnick goes a bit further and gives helpful explanations of difficult topics. She is very clear. An excellent teacher.

Amazing prof. She is crustal clear in her lectures. Very helpful too. Attendance is a mandatory and about once a week 10 question quiz. 1 midterm and 1 final. If you awake during her lectures and understand the materials exams are supper easy. Accounting is my world now thanks to her. TAKE HER!!!!!

Not my kind of class, I had to learn everything by reading the book myself. Tests every week, hard class.

After taking accounting 2 with another professor, I can say with all my confidence that she is the best accounting professor. She is very professional, smart and will give you all the tools to successes in the real business world.

UNLESS YOU ARE FAST AT EXAMS YOU WON'T FINISH... RESULT.. A LEAST ONE GRADE LOWER.

Set aside AT LEAST 7-9 Hours a week to do all the weekly assignments, always due Friday 9 PM. Quizzes are 20 minutes, tests are 2 hours (only midterm/final). Tests are all practical problems and they're very similar to HW/Quiz questions. Just don't be lazy, put in the hours and you'll easily get a B or an A. DO ALL THE EC! I got an A just cuz of it

She is a good teacher. Accounting ideally isn't a class you want to take online cause regardless of the teacher, you still need to teach yourself a lot. I took 12 wk class w 9 other units and it was tough, but I got an 'A'. Take notes and PAY ATTENTION to the intro lectures on connect and you'll get it all. 1quizweek but tests are relatively easy!

clearly lays out what is required each week to do/turn in by Friday (online class). multiple chances for extra credit if you do poorly on the online tests. do the homework and get all the questions correct.

easy to understand, clear explanations, methodical teaching method, simple homework cares about her students her teaching method is very simple and straightforward as well as methodical. she explains everything in simple terms. My only negative is it is more geared to someone in their early 20's as opposed to someone older.

I took my first online class with this professor and she is a truly dedicated professor who helps out whenever its needed. It was an 8 week course but she still made sure we learned a lot. We had 10 quizzes and homework assignments and she offered extra credit which was super helpful. I recommend you choose this professor.

Highly recommend everyone to take this class than counseling 20 for GE. I have learned so much from Resnick's class, from how to manage $ wisely to all kinds of insurance plans, do taxes, retirement planning, and so much more. HW/quiz/final are all online so there is no way you will fail her class.

Accounting 45/Business 45 is definitely one of those classes you want to take online. There's a lot of useful info about taxes, buying houses, loans etc, and having all your notes and textbook in front of you when you do tests and final is helpful. Easy class, theres no excuses getting less than and A. Proff was always available and quick to reply

ACCTG 45 is extremely easy class especially if you need to get units for CPA units. This class has 14 ch hw, 14 quizzes and midterm/final in addition to extra credit etc. All hw can be done in the beginning of the semester. quizzes must be taken weekly. Midterm/final base on hw, all math. Overall this is extremely easy class especially for cpa

WINTER - Professor Resnick genuinely wants you to take away information for your personal financial success. Ive worked in retail management for years and this class involved so many similar formulas and made this course a breeze! If you need an easy A in a math course and have a similar background, I highly recommend this class! Use the demos!

This is a good class if you aren't the best at math, but need it for CSU credit. She has example problems available which make it easier to understand the actual problems. Plus the financial advice is really helpful. I was able to get an A, even though math is definitely not my strong suit.

BUS 45. You will can pass no matter how horrible you are at math (like me!) I also too ACCTG 21 with her which was also required for BUS degree. Same format. Let's you take tests twice and takes the highest grade. Homework Q & A program gives you unlimited checks on your work. She will give you sample problems worked out. Will help by email

Needed this class for a CSU math requirement, this class is x100 easier than stats or any other math class! Each week online you do the same thing, hw, quiz, extra credit. Put in the effort and she will take that in account and will give you points. 2 exams, 2 financial WS and lots of extra credit opportunities. Resnick is a generous and kind prof!

Professor Resnick is very nice and her lectures are always inspirational.I took this BUS 45 with her and it was a very easy class. If you struggle with Math and trying to fulfill your math requirements for CSU this is a very easy class. She also gives extra credit opportunities.

The best professor Ive ever had. She made course so easy to understand and follow. No stress at all If you get less then 90 then you should go back to middle school. 2 attempts for quizes. There are also homeworks for each chapter 10 questions but she gives similar questions in advance just numbers changed somyou wont get less then max from it.

I took accounting 45 with her at Santa Monica Community College, I am not sure why it isn't an option to select on this page as one of her courses. This course was suggested to me by my councilor as basically a, "life skills course." We often see memes about what they should've taught us in highschool, well this is that class! I LOVED it.

Same as Bus 45 (3 units); also teaches Couns 47 (1 unit) - same topic. TAKE THIS CLASS! You will learn how to keep/manage money, stocks, bonds, insurance, rent, car leases, and understand basic banking. Easy A! She gives sample HW that mirrors the real HW that mirrors chapter quizzes and exams (2). Unlimited HW attempts. Can't fail unless you try.

One of the easy-going professors. The class is exciting and full of helpful tips/topics preparing students for real life. I recommend taking this class with Jenny. So much valuable information you will take out! Quizzes/HWs are pretty straightforward and have unlimited attempts. You will need to purchase a book through Connect platform.

Wonderful professor who knows how to keep her class organized. HW and quizzes are both on McGraw Hill Connect, both open note, no time limit. Some concepts may seem a little hard at first but she always leaves her lectures on canvas along with additional help on her page. I'm not even a business major but I highly recommend taking her class.

Professor Resnick is a fantastic. she gives extra credit, & also lets you do homework over. You take weekly quizzes & get 2 attempts. She provides Example questions for the hw. her lectures go over the example questions not the PowerPoint or book. She gives plenty of time to do everything. I would take her again.

Please take ACCT/BUS 45. This is one of the only classes I feel I'll use "in the real world". As far as the class goes, multiple attempts on everything, lots of EC. Professor Resnick is such a sweet lady. Please attend her finance workshops as well! Also very knowledgeable if you are going the accounting/CPA track! This class counts as UC credit!

Everything, and i mean everything is on Mcgrawhill Connect, HW assignments, Quizzes, midterm, and even the final, its such an easy class and as someone who is bad at math and needed a math requirement, this class and professor are saviors.

Very easy class even if your weakest subject is math, there is a lot of hw and quizes but its straight forward its not difficult at all also there's 2exams which is midterm/final.she is very clear and organized grades everything very quickly gives you great feedback overall Prof Resnick is very caring and nice she wants all her students to succeed.

she's nice and her class is pretty easy, but she will not round your grade. I had an A all semester and by the last week my grade dropped to an 89.8% and she said she wouldn't curve it bc it "wouldn't be fair to everyone else who asks" :,) so just be prepared for that

I would 100% take her again. Zoom classes were not mandatory, I could watch them whenever I had time. Easiest math class ever

The class is heavily-based / ALL on McGraw-Hill Connect which you have to pay for to submit homework, take quizzes, and receive grades. As an online class, it felt very DIY and the professor was very hands-off. It was just not the learning experience I was looking for. Professor was very nice though and provided plenty extra credit opportunities.

This class was easy - everything is on McGrawHill ( you pay for it) and you have homework and a weekly quiz which can all be done using the demo problems she provides. Really good class take this if you need math credit and are bad at math.

Took the class during the summer & it's extremely straightforward. 14 Quizzes & HW assignments, final and midterm, and 2 financial planning worksheets. It's all on McGraw-Hill Connect, which you have to buy. She gives many materials (like sample problems & past lectures) so you understand the material. She's also extremely accessible and kind :)

Although most of the course was online, Professor Resnick offers good feedback and tutoring options for her students. She even posts her lectures online for whoever can't make it. I would only recommend this class if you're someone who struggles with math a lot.

I took this class online. She is very organized and clearly explains things. Does Zoom exam reviews where she takes questions and works through sample problems; she records these if you can't make it to the Zoom meeting. I'd take her for all my accounting classes if I could.

Easy A Class if you can keep up with the assignments. Definetely recommened and the content is useful.

I wanted to a find a math course that were up to my standards, and BUS/ACCT 45 helped me find what I was going for. The math is really easy, and the professor helps us to prepare for homework's/exams/quizzes/activities. It's an easy A as long you do the work well and you complete the work by the due date. Lots of extra credit opportunities!
