I had Dr. Harden as my chemistry lab teacher and he was an awesome teacher. During pre-lab, he makes sure you know what is going on before he sends you on the way to the actual lab. I highly reccommend everyone to take him as a lecture teacher and/or lab teacher.

Dr. Harden is my fav professor so far. He's really nice, really funny, and REALLY helpful. If you hate chemistry and have to take it, believe me, he will make you like chem! He is soooooooo nice!!!!!! :-)

He is a visiting professor, and he is a lab coordinator. When I first had him, I thought he was a total jerk, but he is just really loud and straightforward. He's pretty funny, and he explains lab procedures very well. If you have questions about a procedure or your data, he will sit with you and go through each step. Very cool professor!

Love Him! very funny helpful and even kinda gangsta lol.He makes you look forward to his class. GA STATE needs more professors like him!

I definately disagree with everyone. He talks so fast in lecture that it is very difficult to keep up with him. When you talk to him, he will show attitude and talks to you as if you are challenged. His tests are very, very hard. His quizzes aren't that bad but expects you to do each problem in very little time. overall i would not recommend him.

AWESOME PROFESSOR!! Very much appreciate him.. I don't consider him to be as hard as some claim he is. He is rather soft on many things.

Dr. Hardin is an enthusiastic comical professor. I'm glad I had him for chem because he made it a little bit more enjoyable. His lectures are p.p slides and he usually does a day or two of lectures and then reserve a day for working out chem problems. Quizzes aren't extremely hard. Exams are multiple choice.

Very enthusiastic. Very interested in students' success. Loves to teach. Lectures are interesting. Also very good in lab.

Harden is sarcastic & hilarious, but he also LOVES chem and wants you to love it. He is very enthusiastic about teaching and will sit with you at office hours and help you with anything! In lab he gives you thorough notes so you feel comfortable. He yells (LOUD), he's amped on coffee, his tests aren't ez, he challenges you, but you want him!

Take him! Very clear in lab but the chemistry TAs are god awful. Never listen to them. Made lab entertaining.

Dr. Harden has got to be one of my favorite professors so far. He is very entertaining and extremely helpful. I feel that i understood more of IR in lab with him than in lecture with another professor. Take him!

He was a great teacher. I was freaking out bout the ACS but once I finished it it didnt seem that bad. He spent most of class complaining but thats cause the class was filled with idiots.

Harden is a AWESOME professor, he really tries to help during office hours and will talk to you just about everything. He's very approachable, and talks really loud (even when your rite in front of him). Over his tests are straight forward, quizzes are easy (bonus points)and hw in online. GSU really need more people like him. Very MOTIVATING!!!!

Excellent professor, amusing and charismatic enough to keep the attention of 200 students. Is able to discuss information in a variety of ways to reach to every type of learner. Approach him outside of class to understand anything. Makes tests harder than the final to prepare you, but gives bonus points to balance. A++ would learn from again.

Pros: Dr. Harden is a good instructor-he makes sure his class understands a concept before moving on. He's great during lab, very helpful. He will also keep your attention during class. Cons: He complains ALOT. He complains about how tired he is, how hard he works etc. He also only puts about 15-20 Q's on a test so you can't miss more than 2.

He was a pretty decent teacher, his class was hard esp. since he made every worry like crazy over the acs final. it was as hard as he has said and we were all well prepared.

DR.Harden is awesome. I am one that hates chemistry and always had a hard time with it, but he teaches you what you need to know and as long as you go to class and pay attention you should be fine. If you ask him questions he wont just tell you the answer, but he'll ask you questions that you should know in order to help you find the answer.

hes an amazing teacher! i hate chem but the way he taught it made it so much more fun and easy to learn. his test arent as bad as most ppl might say they are. he prepares u well for the ACS. use his office hours cuz they are very helpful. if u get the chance to take him plzz do! also take him for chem lab!!

Great freaking teacher! He's super loud and loves the hell out of some chemistry. If you dont understand something, go to his office hours and it will become crystal clear. If you're willing to put in some work, his class is great. It was super easy for a chemistry class.

Easy to stay awake in his lectures. The man is loud, and high energy. He has a good sense of humor. Read the book before the lecture, it is a lot of material to learn. Do the suggested homework, you need to get fast at working problems for the tests. He is helpful if you go see him with questions.

Dr. Harden is the best science teacher I've ever had. I was really nervous about taking chemistry but did really well in his class. He is super high energy and really loves what he teaches. Be sure to read the textbook and work lots of practice problems, also go to his office hours if you have questions. Study for his tests, they are challenging!

hes the best. and hes loud and funny and keeps yu awake. he scares you in to studying, but thats a good thing cus chemistry is uber hard! oh and he hates cheaters, he will smite you. yes i mean you

He's great. He's very lively and very helpful - he'll always answer questions and goes out of his way to meet with students. There is NO excuse for not making a B or better with him...unless you're not trying.

Dr. Harden was my energetic lab professor for 1211. He's always smiling and cracking jokes and he's so chill all the time. His energy rubs off on you and he is sooo helpful. At first the labs are difficult b/c you don't know what to do, but you get the hang of it quick. Harden was so helpful. I want him for the rest of my chem classes

He was a very energetic professor and funny at times but sometimes when you ask a question he yells it! but that just might be his personality. He takes lecture notes straight from the book. His lectures are very fast, so make sure to read the chapter before coming to class to have a better understanding. He can be mean. Overall, an okay professor.

Best teacher ever. As long as you show that you are interested in learning, he will bend over backwards to help you any way he can. That being said, don't ask him for help if you haven't done the homework and skipped class. He's funny, entertaining, and very clear about what you need to learn and what will be on the quizzes and tests.

He's hyper loud and entertaining. He really knows what he's teaching and he takes too much crap from lazy students. He drops a test, he drops a quiz and he gives plenty of time for the online homework. People if you plan to take this class then at least try to put some effort into it. I regret not making the effort & missing my chance at an easy A+

I love Dr. Harden, he's entertaining, helpful as much as he can during a large lecture, if he's recieving feedback the whole class isn't getting it, he'll back up and attempt to clarify. He's a great prof.

i loved going to his class! he's funny and makes the class super interesting. tests and quizzes are easy as long as you attend lectures. highly recommended! :)

Dr. Harden is good professor but when you get on his bad side he gets mad but quickly cools off. He is very helpful and understands the questions that you ask him. I would recommend him to anyone. Attendence is not required but if you know you are not going to read the book, I really recommend you to go to lectures.

The Best Chem teacher at GSU! Had him for Lab and Lecture. Really helpful and the tests and quizzes come straight from his workshops. Going to so once in a while wouldn't hurt either! I strongly recommend him! Also has the most adorable blue eyes and cracks jokes ALL the time! Love him!!

Had him for orgo 1 lab. Very funny guy. Even though he knows his stuff, he teaches it like he was still learning it for our sakes. Show up and follow instructions. The quizzes are all easy. DON'T TALK OVER HIM IN PRELAB. If you do, you'll see ;)

Best chemistry professor

Out of all my teachers at GSU, he is by far my favorite. He explains the material very well in my opinion, and his quizzes/tests aren't that bad if you go to class, pay attention, and study.

BEST chem teacher on campus. Go to him for help and he explains it perfectly.

Amazing professor! Took him for orgo 1. He makes jokes all the time and is a very good lecturer. You don't need the book if you attend class and pay attention. He goes out of his way to make worksheets and hold review sessions before tests. TAKE HIM!

He is a very good professor. If you still don't get how to solve a problem after he explained it, he will do another problem similar to it just for you to understand it. he won't have to try it a third time because you'll get it. his class is easy, does not take attendance. i recommend him for chem.

Best orgo professor in GSU

I dreaded taking this class for so long. But Dr. Harden made orgo interesting and fun! He is so enthusiastic and engaging that I actually enjoyed organic chem. He is a great lecturer and freaking hilarious. He posted helpful workshops and held a review session once. I highly recommend him!! (pretty cute too!)

need to go to class everyday if you want a good grade, and si is really helpful

Amazing professor. I'm a biology major and I wish he could teach ALL my science courses. Make sure you PAY ATTENTION TO CONVERSIONS. They are vital for succeeding in the class. Gives out curves and a little bit of extra credit. TAKE HIM! =)

Best Organic Professor at GSU and amazingly funny...tests are hard but that's bc the material covered is INSANE but take him if you can!

He is a very entertaining teacher. He is an easy person to talk to.. However, there is no opportunity to come up in class. If you fail the first test, you might as well drop the class. very hard subject and he does move very fast..No curving at all what ya get is what ya get. not very understanding to those who just don't get organic chemistry.

I dreaded taking this class (again)! He makes learning chemistry fun. Wish I could have taken him the first time around! He explains everything clearly and uses alot of jokes and metaphores to help you remember topics. It's not an easy course and it requires alot of study time, but hey, what are you in school for?

A hard class. I highly recommend taking Dr.Harden. He is engaging and funny. You will find very few science professors like him in college. He uses his own notes. I work hard but it takes me a while to get it.Dr. Harden goes the extra mile to help you. Set up an appointment with him if you need extra help.If you care about learning, then he cares.

He is an amazing profssor, very helpful, but DO NOT expect easy. It's still Organic Chemistry, you still need to study or you will FAIL.

Dr. Harden goes out of his way to make sure that all students have the opportunity to do well in his class by posting addition workshops and conducting review sessions before a test. Show up to class to do well on the tests and if you don't understand a topic, he will clarify things further in his office hours.

Hands down the best Organic 1 lecture professor. Read before class, and it will help you to fully understand the material during his lectures the first time he introduces them. With a willingness to do a little work an A or A+ is easily achievable in Dr. Harden's organic lecture.

I had him for both general and organic chemistry. He's an excellent professor because he's organized, enthusiastic about what he teaches, and knows his stuff. He's also naturally loud, so you won't fall asleep in his class. Just go to lecture, pay attention, write notes, and study them before the exam. He's only hard if you don't attend class.

Dr.Harden is an excellent instructor. He is always prepared and enthusiastic, and expects you to be as well. He does not tolerate foolishness, but that is expected on the university level. So if you decide to take him (which I highly suggest), read before class, shut up when class starts, take lots of notes, and practice, practice, practice!

Dr. Harden is the best at teaching! He truly understands every student and is available at all times to help you make the grade you want! The only negative thing is his temper, it is very low! But he has 101 excellent qualities so I never let his temper bother me! Be prepare to stuy!

Dr. Harden is an amazing professor!! His teaching is very effective. Hands down the best ochem professor at state. Study take notes and you will do fine. Although he does yell a lot which makes him come off as mean hes actually funny and very intelligent.

He is seriously one of the BEST professors I have ever had. Ochem used to be a chore for me but he just made it so interesting and easy to approach. He's loud and very strict about people talking in class but he knows his stuff. He's also super nice and gave our class extra practice assignments for exams. All in all a great professor!

I literally hate chemistry, but Harden made it so interesting and exciting that I enjoyed going to his class everyday! He KNOWS what he's talking about. You have to earn your grade, and attend class everyday in order to do well. I love Harden. I recommend him for everyone! The class is hard, but work hard and you can pass!!!

Dr. Harden is an absolutely amazing professor! His lectures are both enjoyable and engaging. He is very helpful and will answer all question.

Had Harden for Ogro I & II. Earning an A is very achievable. Go to class TAKE NOTES, and take advantage of his office hours. Also, use the book if you fall behind. I would take him any day over ANY PROFESSOR at GSU for 3410. I EARNED a B+ for Orgo I and an A+ for Orgo II.

This guy is amazing. I didn't do well but that was because I didn't go to office hours enough, I didn't read enough and I didn't practice enough. If you read, ask questions, and practice, you'll be fine. I enjoyed class and he's just awesome!!!!!

Dr. Harden is the business. Haha if you've had him you will totally get the joke. He really cares about his students if they put forth the effort. Awesome guy and amazing teacher.

He is great- interesting and funny. Loved him. I got a B in orgo 1 and 2. Could have made an A in orgo one if it were not for taking Dr. E at the same time. Orgo two was very hard and I worked my butt off for that B. Super helpful teacher and really cute.

Dr. Harden is amazing!!! You'd be a fool to take anyone else for Orgo. He is super helpful and explains everything! He is definitely money well spent on. Did i mention he's supper hot? :)

If you're afraid of organic chemistry or how it might affect your GPA, you should certainly take Dr. Harden. His lectures are clear-cut and exam material is very straight forward. He provides plenty of resources needed to understand the material and also dedicates lots of time to office hours for his students. Amazing professor.

Orgo is by far the toughest subject i've ever had to learn but Harden is the absolute best teacher!!! Go to his office hours, his super helpful, and his lectures are clear and makes the material understandable but by no means does that mean this class is an easy A or even a easy B. You have to work hard and study EVERYDAY to get a good grade!!

Doctor Harden is awesome! I came into organic chemistry scared, but he made it better. My advice: the book is worthless. Only take his notes verbatim and study, study, study! Go to his office hours, he is SO helpful, his knowledge is there for the taking! It's in NO way easy but you can come out of Orgo with a good grade if you apply yourself!

Dr. Harden is the best Orgo professor anyone can ask for. I enjoy organic chemistry more than any other science thanks to this man. He is loud, energetic, hilarious, passionate, and a fantastic overall teacher. No power points, you have to write down notes from the board. Tests aren't too bad if you know what your doing and truly pay attention.

His class is very straightforward. The exams are tough, but doable if you study. Take good notes, do the OWL homework and the workshops he posts online. I only used the book for practice questions in the back. It doesn't come with answers but if you go to his office hrs he will check your answers and give you feedback.

I wish Dr. Harden taught every single chemistry class because he is the best lecturer at GSU. As long as you attend class and do the homework and workshops, you'll be fine. He's very clean and very obviously loves the subject and what he does. He's very engaging and you just can't help but be excited about the subject along with him.

This man is by far the best professor at GSU. As a chemistry major, I have never been so heavily influenced by a professor. He not only spreads his enthusiasm to all his students, but all chemistry majors as well. He is such an inspirational, motivating individual and GSU is beyond lucky to have such an amazing guy at their university! 3 LOVE HIM!

Best professor I've ever had! His lectures are amazing and very clear. Go to class, take good notes, and rewrite them over and over again and practice the problems he puts up and make your own problem sets too. You'll be all set. He's there for his students and will help you out a ton in office hours if you don't understand a concept.

Dr. Harden is an amazing professor! I probably won't go to medical school cuz of my grade in his class, but OMG am I so glad I took him. He is so inspirational, intelligent, and hilarious, you have to be a prune not to like him. Tht being said, he's not easy n does not cut you slack. Don't cheat cuz you will end up on his sit list and go to class!

He is probably the best chemistry professor at gsu. Very straightforward and helpful, not to mention really friendly. It's really hard not to like Dr. Harden and anyone who has taken him can agree with this. 10/10 would recommend

It was right; he is one of greatest organic chemistry professor of all time IMO. He naturally has loud tone of voice to deliver his lecture to 200+ students. How I study for this class was 1)re-writing his lecture 2)going through his workshop 3)solve the problems at the end of the chapter. If you do these things right after class, A+ is yours.

Dr. Harden is a great orgo chem teacher. His class is lecture based, so if you want to skip class, don't do it. As long as you take good notes in his class, you should make an A. His class is only easy if you put work into it. 8 quizzes and 4 test plus final, drops the lowest quiz and test grade. His class is recommended!

Dr. Harden is an AMAZING professor. Organic Chemistry is a terrifying subject, and this class was in no way easy, but Dr. Harden made it possible to succeed. I went to his office hours multiple times, and he really helped me understand any topics I was confused about. There are 4 tests and 8 quizzes, and the lowest ones get dropped.

Dr. Harden may be the best professor at GSU. He is so hilarious it makes you pay attention. He knows how to make the material interesting and understandable. You can tell he has passion for what he does and his students. Tests are hard because the material is hard, you have to actually learn it instead of memorizing which pays off in the long run

Dr. Harden knows what he's talking about and doesn't make you feel dumb for asking simple questions. He does have a complex about cheating, and accused many of copying off one another or of buying old exams (idk how true that was). His exams have a built in curve and are straightforward. Orgo is standardized, so you don't HAVE to go but it helps.

I am not sure why he is not comedian because he is so hilarious that I feel bloated whenever I laughed so hard from the jokes he makes occasionally. His test is super-easy and give you extra credit so you can make like 106 out of 100. If you get C or B in his first test, drop the class and reconsider about your future because you have no hope :'(

I've taken Dr. Harden for both orgo I and II and i love him. He is truly the best orgo professor they have at GSU. 4 exams, drop one and also a couple quizzes which were easy. Come to class, take good notes, and review after class and grant you will get a good grade. oh, one thing, DON'T CHEAT in this class.

Dr. Harden is a really good professor, I recommend him from Orgo because he really knows his stuff! Hes super amped and enthusiastic. He make come off super aggressive but his class is worth it. Go to class and make sure you study. His test arent super hard, theyre definitely do-able!

Dr. Harden is ONE of the best organic professors in the whole southeast. if your pre-pharm or even pre-med you won't leave this class without knowing the bare maximum of organic compounds and their reactivity. He truly doesn't get enough credit for his intellect, 4exams & 1ACS (lowest dropped), quizzes once a week, homework bi weekly.

The worst things about him are that he doesn't give out the keys to his practice problems, and comes off as intimidating. But he's only that way because he's trying to kick students into shape for a subject most haven't been exposed to before, and isn't easy. He's truly an inspirational and genuine individual. Also, go to his office hours!

Amazing Professor. Record lectures & take good notes during lecture. Listen to the recording before next class to really understand material much better, do ALL workshops & finally DO NOT slack on the mechanisms! The 1st test is the easiest & if you don't get an A on that then you really gotta be on your game next test bc it gets much harder.

Greatest teacher ever. He might be hard on students, but that is only because he wants everyone to do their best. MUST TAKE!!

Greatest professor I've had through out my year at State. Had him for orgo 1 & 2 and got A's in both. Record lectures, take very detailed notes, and do practice problems until you know everything, then practice some more. I would literally take him if he taught more classes honestly. It's not really that difficult if you invest enough time.

By far the best professor I've ever had. So so hard, but an amazing lecturer. Class is never boring. You pay attention because he's fun, and really knows how to get you interested in Orgo. I took him for both semester and wish he taught all my classes.

He is one of the best professors I have ever had- and I am a post bacc student who already has a degree! I took him summer of 2017 for orgo 2. His lectures are amazing and he is a super funny guy! I LOVED his class and I can't wait to take more courses from him. Study and you will be fine and he is very available and willing to help his students.

Dr, Harden knows what he's doing and he doesn't give any handouts. Study the material he gives in class and the workshops and homework and you'll do good. He's an awesome teacher, and I know the chili pepper is gone but he's easy on the eyes too.

Hes a great professor and teaches very well. Ochem is a tough class, so be ready to work. Test 3 and 4 are very important, so make sure you learn those chapters well. His tests are tough but if you study and go to lecture, you will do well.

Many of you claim to be premed I would personally tell you to take no one else but Harden the guy is quite legendary. If you can take from his class the ACS/ MCAT will come easy. Orgo is not a class you can learn overnight practice practice practice!!!

Dr. Harden cares about his students actually being knowledgable before going out to the world (at this point, most people are premed, prevet, predent, etc.). His class is hard, don't get it twisted, but his lectures are clear and he offers multiple office hours to help you understand the material. I highly recommend him :)

Dr. Harden is such a great teacher, so passionate about chemistry. He does a great job at preparing students for bigger challenges (ACS, MCAT). But the class is really hard. Going to all his lectures is essential, also practicing ahead of time and going to his office hours. If you are a premed I would 100% recommend his class.

The BEST! Go to class, his office hours and SI! His class is hard but its Organic Chem and to be expected! Get to class early bc EVERYBODY wants to sit as close to the board as possible! He may seem a bit intimidating but ASK QUESTIONS Hes VERY loud lol and hilarious so its not hard to pay attention. Hes also good looking and thats always a plus :)

He was a super nice professor and available to answer questions (in office- he does not respond to emails very often). Incredibly smart and passionate about chemistry. Final grade is mostly a reflection of test grades. Go to class, read, do the HW and study guides and you should do well!

I took him for Orgo 1 and Orgo 2. Best teacher in explanations out there! I retook Orgo 2, because I failed the first time around. Paying attention in class, taking detailed notes, and doing workshops DEFINITELY paid off all the hard work. He explains well, and helps you during his office hours. Record HIS LECTURES!! Rewriting notes help as well

Harden is one of the best professors I've ever had. He works extremely hard to make sure you have all the tools to properly practice the material he teaches, and he teaches it very well. His main goal is to help students succeed, so if you put in the effort you'll definitely pass the class.

office, and i cannot stress this enough, hours!! I made a point to do his worksheets every week and see him for help (you'll need it). Dr Harden is amazing at explaining the material in class and in office hours and gives loads of practice problems similar to what's on the test. go to class, take good notes, do the worksheets, and you'll be fine!

He's agreat teacher and he explains concepts really well. He was generally pretty funny and engaging in class which made it easier to pay attention. He doesnt post any powerpoints or answer keys online so you have to go to class to get the information. However he makes himself very available to students outside of class for extra help or questions

The best chem professor at GSU so far. Dr Harden truly cares about students and knows his materials. Orgo2 is not easy but he always does his best to make you understand clearly. His lectures are great already but if you need more help, go to his office hours!

A gem, he is very straight-forward and willing to help. His lectures are reflected on his test. Honestly a breath of fresh air compared to my other science teachers

He seems like a good teacher outside of online schooling. Watch the lecture videos on time and practice with the hw he gives you, and youll be fine. Dont make the same mistake I made by procrastinating. Also he likes people visiting his office hours so try to go to give a good impression.

Take Dr. Harden! He is THE best! I took him online during COVID and he is phenomenal. Everything was organized and he wants you to succeed. ngl it is hard work but loved orgo bc of him!

I know ure choosing to take him or Connors. HIM. Very nice and funny. 1st test may be bad (mine was 52) but he drops it. His vids are LONG but the same as quizzes and tests. Hmwk is weekly & free 100% if attempted. Plz do his wkshps, u'll find the same thing on test and quizzes, wish I did that earlier. Final is ACS, so gets curved, don't b scared!

ATTEND LECTURES! Go to office hours; he will explain things in different ways until you understand it. Worksheets aren't graded but they are very helpful for exams. You will see similar questions on exam. HW is graded based on completion. Also, weekly quizzes. Put in effort and study hard! Don't wait 'til last minute to study for exams.

10/10 would genuinely take this class again. He’s very straightforward and gives you nothing but help. Office hours are key so make sure to attend those if you want an A in the class. Not to mention that he’s kinda cute but very good class.

I had Harden during Covid last spring & he was truly amazing. He made online school bearable & I looked forward to his hilarious lectures. He's very energetic & straight to the point. Do not be afraid to approach him bc he will help/wants you to succeed- a year later & he's helping me plan my future semesters. Please take him! Very down to earth

One of the best professors I have ever had. He is very available, very helpful, very kind and insightful. Chem 1211 lab is easy, you just have to show up and pay attention. There are quizzes, be prepared for them, that's what brought my grade down.

Harden made organic chemistry hilarious and engaging. I failed though because I did not do the workshops! DO THE WORKSHOPS!!!! Loved his class. Used his notes to supplement my summer semester Orgo class and PASSED. He saved me, basically!

Where do I even begin?? Professor harden is the best Professor I've ever had in my entire time in undergrad. He explains everything so well. He really cares for his students and does everything in his power to guarantee their success. If you're taking a class as tricky as this, he's the Professor for it. Loved his class!

Organic Chemistry is a tough class overall, taking him can help you understand concepts and material, and he also makes lectures very entertaining. Go to his office hours if you really want feedback, he explains a lot of the content in a way that will help further your understanding. Good professor, take him if you can!

My second class with Harden, and I am on to my third. Organic chemistry is difficult and it takes a lot of practice and studying, but if you put in the work you can excel. Harden gives more to his students than any professor I have had, and he is more than happy to work with you when you show up and do the work. If you don't you will struggle.

Dr. Harden is simply the best. He cares for his students. He's so passionate about about what he teaches and it shows. It's not an easy class but he makes it a lot more enjoyable. He really wants all his students to do great. Show up to class, do all the workshops, go to his office hours and an A is guaranteed.

I loved Professor Harden, if you can take him, do it. He is really nice and funny, also is very clear when explaining what to do. He makes everything so much simpler. If you come to him with a question, he will answer it in a nice way. Chem Lab was challenging, but he made it so smooth. I will take him again if I get the chance.

Dr. Harden is a very entertaining teacher. He clearly loves leading lab and knows how to assuage your worries if things aren't going your way in your experiments. Very encouraging and light-hearted. Do NOT make a habit of being late, or you may see his harsher side. The lab is tough, for sure, but you learn a lot. Apply yourself and get to know him

I love this guy. He actually talks about what is happening and all of these facts about chemistry and will provide detailed reviews. It broke my heart that I didn't pass his orgo 2 class but he taught me so much useful info about organic chemistry. He is fast so be prepared but overall, absolutely love him. Definitely a no-bullshit man too.

Had Dr. Harden over the summer for orgo 2 lab and had a great experience being in his lab. Very approachable. Gives clear instructions and expects that one comes prepared for the day's lab and be on time to lab sessions as mentioned in another review. Follow homework, quizzes, and study guide to a T since the final is just like these assignments.

AWESOME!! It was truly a joy to have him this semester. Although orgo is difficult, Dr. Harden tries his best to form a relationship with his students and help them as much as possible. He is passionate about chemistry and tries to form connections during the lectures to keep us engaged. He's just an overall awesome dude!! 100% take him for orgo!

Dr. Harden has a loud voice and is intense but he's passionate and loves to help students who want to learn. If you put in the work in this lab, you will get an A+.

Dr. Harden is the best professor for Orgo 2. He always made sure that everyone in the class understood concepts. After he would do a mechanism on the board he would do reruns so that he could make sure everyone was following. He also provided solution videos for select videos, if not there are problem solving sessions every week.

Genuinely one of GSU's finest in terms of impact on students and love for the subject material. Always trying to be better for students and keeps up with them well after taking his class. The nature of the material he teaches is hard but going to extra sessions and practicing with the non-mandatory practice he gives out helps

He is a genuinely great professor. I came into Ochem I, believing that it would a very hard class, however his teaching style proved otherwise. When I took him for Ochem II, his teaching improved a lot and his office hours were extremely helpful. For anyone who has to take Ochem, definitely take his class. He just wants his students to do well.

I took Dr. Harden this summer for Ochem II. He is an amazing professor and enjoys teaching. He is approachable with questions or any confusions you are having. I've never met a professor with such incredible passion as Dr. Harden. I took Ochem1 and Ochem2 with him earning B+ and an A. He's genuinely invested in the success of his students. Professor Harden is an engaging and caring instructor. While Ochem can be challenging, his teaching style and office hours make the material very manageable. Utilizing resources like Unstuck study and the free textbook are key to success in this course.

He is the go-to guide for Organic Chemistry. He is very lively in his lectures. You have to stay focused through the lectures though. Put in the work and it will reward you. Organic is the filter class so guaranteed that half of that class will drop the course by midway through the semester.

Dr. Harden is an amazing professor. He tries to make himself available to the class. The course is based on 60% of exams (4 exams), 20% final exam, and the last 20% is attendance and homework grades. The workshops help with exams SO DO THE WORKSHOPS! He does yell so the whole class can hear. While that isn't a con for me, it may be for others

TAKE HIM FOR ORGO1. Amazing professor and is very passionate to organic chemistry (understatement). He's a chemistry freak. He cares for his students as he makes himself available for office hours whenever he can. The course is exam heavy ~ 80% of grade. Ochem is hard, but as long as you go to class and dedicate time outside of class, you'll pass.

I love Dr. Harden! He is the only reason I get excited about chemistry. I know I didn't get an A but it was lowkey my fault and not his. He has so many office hours to ensure everyone can speak to him if needed and provides a lot of supplemental material. Take him if you really wanna learn Orgo!!

He is an amazing teacher and and his lectures are very engaging. With that being said, online resources are limited so going to class is a must. There are not many assignments so the tests and final are the only grades, which makes it difficult to try and boost your grade. The class is difficult but would recommend taking him for this course.

I had Dr. Harden for both orgo 1 and 2 and he was absolutely amazing for both. While the coursework does get challenging, he explains everything so well and has hours in the stem tutoring center if you need extra help (I highly recommend going to these if you can btw). Put in the work and you'll do well in the class.

Absolutely ADORED being in his class! I was in his orgo 1 and 2 lectures and found them amazing! His lectures are very detailed and he gives out plenty of practice so you can go over the content over and over and over again. Truly, practice does make perfect in his class. He says that he's mean but he's honestly caring at heart. Please take him!!!!

Dr. Harden is one of the most amazing professors at GSU. After having taken him for orgo 1 and 2 I would choose him again and again. He extends office hours and is available more than half the week for any questions, he always makes us feel safe to ask about anything. We all liked him so much we made a huge poster for him and he loved it!

He's overall a really great and lenient professor! He's not too strict on deadlines, and he provides the greatest of feedback! Definitely emphasizes the need to know how to do calculations especially in preparation for the final exam

BEST PROF IVE EVER HAD! Hard course that he easily breaks down. Hilarious and keeps you entertained. go to office hours and stem center, he's a big help. I guarantee if you do all the hw and workshops you'll get a good grade. Orgo is not easy but taking harden is the best decision you'll ever make. Also, he provides the textbook :)

Lab with Dr. Harden is fun, and his lab quizzes & exams aren't hard if you study a bit.
