Loved the class! Plus he's really cute in a geeky kind of way. Tons of late 80's early 90's references. Do your work and IMPROVE upon corrections and you'll be fine.

Professor Billingsley's creative writing class was awesome! He was interesting and made the class really fun. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and I would take the class again in a heartbeat! He is very helpful and gives great feedback. If you're an aspiring writer, he is a great mentor. :)

Mr. Billingsley was a refreshing professor! He was very clear about the course work and genre structure but left the specific assignment topics wide open. It really allowed me to be creative and write about subjects I cared about.

Mr. Billingsley is probably one of my favorite teachers! He is great at explaining the material which makes it easy to apply to the work he assigns. Out of all the english courses i've taken at NWACC this one by far has been my favorite. The professor is very informative and his lectures are easy to follow. Also being a writer he will have 2 books published in the next two years! I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants likes to read and analyze literature,poetry and plays.

Very patient and lenient. Super chill class. Papers require a lot of thought and it's important you read the textbook but he is very clear about how he wants it written and is willing to help with whatever you need.

Billingsley is definitely a teacher that I would recommend. I had him for Comp 2 and I regret not taking him for Comp 1. You do weekly journals over work that you read throughout the week, but they are easy points. As long as you show him that you're trying, you will definitely end the class with an A.

He gives lots of work and makes you read a lot, but he is very understanding. As long as you talk to him he will understand and give you more time or work with you on whatever it is that is troubling you.

This teacher was very great, he was a funny guy and had great lectures about the readings. The readings weren't difficult and you should read them if you want to participate and enjoy class, as the discussions are quite interesting. I looked forward to being able to go to this class for the week.

Very easy going guy . It's not that he grades easy just that he shows that he cares for you in a sense that he understands that not everyone is an expert writer. We had a some reading to take care of nothing too unreasonable.

He's really caring and understands that life happens so he lets the class talk and make decisions with him. I took him for comp 1 and comp 2 and I've never been an english lover but he makes going to english class fun.

He is very funny and very helpful. I took a very short summer English 1 Comp class and he made it as easy and fun as he could! He did an amazing job. We used little of the textbook, but what we used out of the textbook was very beneficial.

With this being my first year in college and this class being the first I've ever taken, I was incredibly nervous for this class. However, on the first day Mr. Billingsley made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. He has a great way of being humorous and yet serious during lectures, which makes the time go by so fast. I definitely recommend!

Billingsley made taking this class bearable. As long as you show up to class and participate throughout the course you should receive a good grade. He usually never keeps you the whole class period so that's nice. If you aren't an english lover, take this class with Billingsley, he'll make it enjoyable and fun for you.

He understand that not everyone has the same level of education and tries to make understandable the class and the homework. You don't need to worry about what he wants you to do because he will make it understandable.

I took a five week summer session with him. The course load was heavy (as to be expected) but definitely manageable. The reason it is manageable is because of all the points awarded for class attendance and participation. He can be a little long winded and goofy, so if you don't like that, you won't enjoy the lectures.

He knows what he is teaching. I took a summer class but I did not felt the pressure at all. His lectures are great. Gives good feedback after asking a question. His grading criteria is good and he gives time to make correction in the assignment. He gives a great lecture to clear the content for the assignments.

He seems to genuinely care about your success in the class. The summer course was rushed but not frantic and he gave more than enough time to complete assignments in class. He is a little obsessed with the writing center and you do have to go there with each paper or suffer points taken away. Other than that, I recommend him. Funny and kind.

Basically, if you show up to all of the classes you'll pass. Almost guaranteed. I just got out of high school, and this is probably the easiest class I've ever taken. He is pretty funny, grades very easy, and is a pretty nice guy. Don't have much of a reason to give him a bad score.

I enjoyed this class. While coming daily is not necessarily important, you could miss out on some extra credit. There are some group projects. Good lecturer. Likes what he does and it shows.

I took Mr. Billingsley for English Comp II- In class/hybrid. He has a passion for literature and it shows! He is an excellent teacher! His papers are challenging but he gives excellent feedback and provides time to improve your grade. He is highly entertaining and makes class fun! I thoroughly enjoyed this class!

Though there is quite a bit of required reading, its not too difficult of a course. There are three papers due throughout the semester and 10 discussion boards. That's all! would highly recommend :)
