GREAT LECTURE TEACHER!!!!EXPLAINS ANYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW NUMEROUS TIMES.HE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO TAKE EXTRA TIME OUT TO HELP YOU ON ANTHING!!
His lab is hard, just STUDY and KEEP UP! He is willing to help you, but also expects you to know a lot of information.
He is an awesome lab professor. If you STUDY you will you do fine! You get out of this lab what you put in it.
Great lecture and lab teacher. He gives you the lectures notes on powerpoint and let's you know what you exactly need to know for the tests. I would REFER students to take him, he is very understanding and willing to help.
Very helpful in explaining anything you need to know. You have to study A LOT for this class, but if you do-then you will do well. Provided powerpoints on the screen, but not in hand which may have been more helpful, but the lecture text and asking questions are the best; the lab manual is poor quality.
He is very helpful when you ask him for help. He's also very nice. For bio 191 lab he gives a quiz every class and then theres 3 big tests that are "station" style. You go from station to station identifying things. It was fun with him.
He is a wonderful lab instructer. He presents the lab instructions clearly, tells you of potential trip-ups on the practicals, and adds a cute bit of humor to a very dull subject. The course is hard enough [STUDY and MEMORIZE, and spelling IS important!] and he helps make it a little less terrible.
J Bram is an awesome teacher...very helpful and will usually hint on quizzes. doesn't really care about checking anything in the end but STUDY STUDY STUDY this lab is hard...he makes it fun though!
He is a great teacher. Very organized lectures and power points. Only tests on info given in the class. Gives weekly quizzes and has 4 tests and comprehensive final. He is a great instructor! I would def. take him again.
Jeremy is an awesome teacher. I have him for Bio 121 lab and I actually look forward to going to this class. I don't have a science background at all and he makes sense of all of the information. I am also able to understand Dr. Nelson's lecture better because of Jeremy.
I made a C on all the exams, but he offered so much extra credit (plus weekly Quizzes) that i left the class with an A. You have to basically memorize the notes to do well on the tests, but they are all mult. choice/True-false and one short answer... Im definitely taking him for biol 122.
Although this teacher gives a ton of extra credit, the tests are soo hard that most people do not pass with a high grade. He uses powerpoints with the terms on them but all the information is given orally. He is not a loud clear speaker so sit in the front and feel free to ask him to repeat anything you did not get. His tests come from the lecture
Bramblett is awesome. Reaffirmed my decision to be a biology major. He's always willing to help students and actually cares what the students think. Take him if you can.
Extremely good professor. Very clear and organized lectures. Always willing to help. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Tests are hard, but doable. Just study your notes on the power points. Conversational in class, not boring. Definitely take Dr. Bramblett if you get the chance!
Bramlett is awesome! Anatomy can get very difficult with everything to remember but he makes me clear and possible to understand. If you take anatomy definitely take it from him because he is great. Also if you can take him for your lab proffesor then do that too!
Definitely take Dr. Bramblett for lecture and lab! He makes the class as interesting as he can, and is more than willing to help those who need it. Lots of extra credit too. An A+ is doable if you listen to him in class and follow up with the text book.
I was a lucky freshman to get in this class, because it feels up quickly. This course is a 100 level course, but the course load and level is that of a 300 level class. Going to class helps and do the extra credit that is given. Study every day and you will do well in this course. Dr. Bramlett is a very funny guy and is really nice.
He is such a good teacher! Had him at 8am but made it very interesting and he is funny and nice. But its still a time consuming class. I def. recommend him!
He wasa great professor BUT the practicals are what is the hardest and his test. you have to STUDY STUDY STUDY or you will fail.
Terrible. Unhelpful; won't tell you your grade even if you ask. Tests are difficult, and tricky; he doesn't always test you on the material but does stuff like spell a word wrong in a true/false, making a answer false, when if it weren't for the misspelling, would be true. Don't take him if you can avoid it. He's so boring.
Bramblett's class is a hard class. He expects you to memorize everything word from word and you have to know how to spell every word right. Basically this class takes over your life. He told our class the first day to get use to the letter 'F' because that is what we will be making in his class. His lab isnt that bad,but DO NOT take his lecture.
Amazing professor! Take him if you can for anatomy and physiology. He expects you to know a lot of knowledge, but it is anatomy and it's a hard course. He is extremely helpful and gives extra credit points and if you miss class he leaves his own lecture notes in the library! TAKE HIM!!
incredible teacher. tests are hard but he gives so much extra credit its almost impossible to get a bad grade in his class. lectures can be boring, but a very approachable teacher and one of the only ones at utc that gives a hoot about your life outside of his lecture.
Awesome teacher! very helpful and tries to make things fun. take him if you can!!
Bramblett is AMAZING! He is definitely a hard teacher, but he is one of the few teachers left that still cares about his students. He is VERY willing to help his students succeed. I learned a great deal from him!
DO NOT TAKE HIM!! Do not listen to the other comments below. This guy is a jerk. He brags everyday about how many people are going to drop his class. He doesnt give extra credit and doesnt drop anything. The final counts for 2 tests. You have to use a clicker to take quizzes every day, so you can't miss at all. The amount of material is ridiculous.
He is a decent lab instructor. He says helpful phrases for you to remember certain things. His quizzes are not that bad either. You have to know a ton for the practicals, but if you study its not bad. The only thing is he is full of himself. He laughed at the class on the first day because everyone said they wanted an A, he said yeah right.
Horrible teacher. He covers a lot of stuffs. You basically need to know each and every word in his power points or lecture notes, plus MCAT level questions. There is pop quizzes in every lecture & it counts like an exam grade(100%).No drop tests. He teaches so fast.He just read out the his notes, doesn't explain the subject matter well.DO NOT TAKE HIM!
He reads straight off of his notes in class. He is not approachable. He has no care for the students. His goal is to see how many people will drop-out or fail. There is alot of material, but that is expected in any anatomy class. The teacher makes a difference and he made a horrible one.
Anatomy is a difficult class in general and he makes it ten times harder than it needs to be. The lab is based on dissecting a mink but you are expected to know human body parts without dissecting a human. His tests are MCAT based and way too difficult for a freshman level course. Take it at Chattanooga State.
One of the best teacher's I've had yet! Also one of the nicest! He genuinely wanted to help me do well. He really loves his job. Definitely have to spend a lot of time on this class..but be real, it's gonna be a lot of work whoever you have. However, he is really clear on what you need to know and he is good at making it all make sense.
I disagree with some of the posts here, Dr. Bramblett was a WONDERFUL teacher! Hands down has the best lecture notes i've ever seen from a professor, he basically disects the book. Book not needed. This class was an easy A, and Dr. Bramblett made it easy and fun!
He's happy to answer your questions and tries to help the students. Some of the questions of the exams are annoying, but he has all of the things you need to know online.
If you're complaining, you've just not put the time in that anatomy requires. Sorry. This class needs pretty much your full attention, and if you don't give it your all, you will not be making the grade you want. Bramblett is the bomb. All the notes are provided, and all the test ?s come from them. He actually knows what he's talking about.
He is probably the best professor I have encountered at UTC. He is very helpful and supplies you with all of the notes. All you have to do is study and you will definitely pass. He also assigns homework, quizzes, and a book report. These extra assignments help with your overall grade. I had him for the lab too, and he was extremely helpful.
For lab you are given a list of body parts and expected to find them on the mink without ANY prior knowledge. I don't know how + reviews get posted on here. He expects you to be in lab 4-5 hours outside of class every week.If you have that time, then go for it. I'd suggest taking it elsewhere. This class was incredibly difficult.
Bramblett is one of the only professors that truly wants you to do well. He posts all of the study material on bb, but you must come to class for the daily quizzes. Don't take him if you can't put in the time this course needs
Daily iClicker quizzes over prior content, but they are general questions so it's basically for attendance. Gave all notes on day 1. This is a memorization class, so he can't implant the memory in your head. Put in the work, but he gives you all the tools to ease your time. He really wants to help you do well. Book can help on difficult topics.
For a class as difficult as anatomy he makes it as easy as possible. Gives you everything he wants you to know in his notes on blackboard. Tries to help you boost your grade with iClicker quizzes and homework assignments. Tests are tricky but not impossible.
Dr. Bramblett is a great teacher! For a college level anatomy course, I don't know how much better you can get. He makes his expectations very clear and his tests are very straight forward. Understand the material, don't just memorize! He is always open to helping too so go by his office!!
A lot of material but he makes anatomy as easy as you can get! Great teacher!!!
He's great. All notes posted online before semester. Daily iClicker quizzes over prior material. A "pre-final" which is extra credit. Short monthly homework. Lowest exam is replaced by final. He presents the material well and gives good examples. He keeps the class laid back and entertaining. I haven't had a better professor.
boring...half the class revolves around a fossil book that had nothing to do with anatomy. and he talks trash about other teachers, which is kinf of unprofessional
Even though I passed with a C which was disappointing to me,I can honestly say that he is a remarkable teacher.I did great in the lecture but the lab is what got me. I had him for both. Study long and hard.
Bramblett himself isn't that bad at all. Tests are ridiculously tough and include a lot of analyzing of each question. Quizzes in class each day are very straight forward and are helpful to your grade if you take them halfway serious. Talks over the students heads from time to time though.
Good personality, he tells a lot of jokes...and laughs a lot at them. He is very smart. He is an okay teacher but lectures basically consist of reading the notes. He gives quizzes every day in lecture. They aren't too difficult. His tests are challenging and they are all cumulative. Be ready to study and work hard and you will do well in the class.
This class is honestly one of the hardest at UTC. Bramblett himself is one of the nicest professors I've ever had, Daily quizzes are relatively easy, and he gives them to encourage studying. The exams are incredibly challenging, you need to study at least a week in advance. Basically study your butt off and treat it like it's your only class.
It is definitely just a hard class with hard course work. This is one of those cry yourself to sleep at night classes, but you will thank yourself for taking (after it is over). It will force you to learn study skills. Stay on top of the work because this is a sink or swim class and it is not hard to drown if you fall behind.
This is the hardest class I've ever taken. All the test material comes from the notes and you have to spend a lot of time studying if you want to do well. Bramblett is a really nice professor and he is definitely willing to help you. Take advantage of his office hours.
He was clear. But he takes his tests from details on the notes, so you have to know your stuff. I got an A only because of going to SI tutoring three times every week.
HARDEST, MOST STESSFUL CLASS OF MY LIFE. In the beginning, I didn't study but after the first test I worked extremely hard but still didn't do well. He will tell you that you don't have to read the book, BUT YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO READ IT ALL. If you take him, GOOD LUCK .
I took his summer class and it's a lot more condensed, but if you study and pay attention it's not that difficult to make an A. He's nice and he'll help you out if you ask. His tests are tricky so you need to know the material rather well.
AWESOME professor!!! He knows the material really really well. He is very approachable and patient. Highly recommended. But of course, students should also exert enough effort to get a good grade.
Being an anatomy class, of course it was hard. However, Professor Bramblett knew his stuff, and he made sure that you knew it too. I enjoyed the class. Instead of you having to read the book and highlight the important parts, he did it for you by making his own notes. It is a lot of notes, but as long as you memorizeunderstand them, you will be ok
Great professor and very thorough, but you have to study. He stresses it for a reason. The one test I spent 8+ hours in lab for I made a 93. Study, email him with questions, he helps a lot! Try not to take Physiology until after Anatomy, the two together are HARD. Get the book used. He gives plenty of extras but you still need to earn the grade 1st
For starters, anatomy is very hard. There is a TON of information to learn. However, professor Bramblett tries his best to make it clear and is willing is answer any questions you have. I ended with an 89.3, and he curved me to an A. You just have to follow his advice, attend SI, and study ALL the time. Try not to fall behind.
His tests are difficult but everything comes from the lectures/powerpoints so you just have to take the time to study. He also gives extra credit opportunities and is willing to help his students. He's super funny too
Bramblett is such a funny and nice man. He's willing to help during tests and office hours. Tests are HARD. expect to study for hours. You must put in the effort but it is possible to make an A. 4 tests and a final but he will replace your lowest test score with the final. Must come to class everyday for clicker quizzes but counts as a test grade.
He gives you everything you need to know in his notes on utclearn. You must study a lot, but everything you need to know is in his notes so its not hard. He does a great job and wants his students to do well. Replaces lowest test grade with final. Funny lectures and make sure you go to them for the clicker questions that count as a test grade.
he gives quizzes each class so attendance is mandatory if you want to pass the class. Notes are online so print it and go to class
He's a really good professor, but he's super hard. He gives you notes and that's all you have to know but they add up fast so don't get behind. You must MEMORIZE every word on the notes to get a good grade on the tests. He gives clicker quizzes every class that add up to a test grade so you have to go to class. DO NOT GET BEHIND IN THIS CLASS.
Bramblett is incredibly smart but down to earth at the same time. His lectures are very articulate and in-depth. Prepare to use the textbook basically non-stop for the semester because he demands so much attention to detail. In the end, you will get a grade that reflects your effort.
He is the best. Took him for 2080 Lab and he was amazing! Very relaxed class and easy.
He is a very good professor. He gave me overall 22.8 points of extra credit because of assignments and exams over the semester. He is also very tough but as long as you do not get behind and ask him questions when you are confused you will do fine. I would 10/10 take Bramblett again. Also, he grades exams extremely fast.
I took him for both anatomy and physiology together and he made it more bearable for me since taking them together is an extremely hard thing to do. I ended with an A in both because he is always there to help you when you are confused and he gives extra credit. Do not get behind in either of these classes, it is very hard to catch up.
This class is a challenging class all around but Professor Bramblett is a great guy that wants to see everyone do well. He has office hours almost everyday and will help you if you do not understand something. Probably my favorite professor here. You have a quiz everyday in class and they are usually pretty easy but they do count for a test grade.
Great Professor. He made anatomy easier to understand. Ton of extra credit opportunities. Make sure to go to class everyday, there will be a quiz at the end of the day and try to stay till the end because if too many students leave early he give hints for exams and extra quiz. Finish all the survey homework because its a great way to learn material
Would not recommend taking his class. All he does in lecture is perch on his desk and read directly from slides and nothing else. Does not explain things very well at all. Do the homework surveys and make sure you know every single word of the lecture notes.
I had him for Bio 1 Lab. He is very smart and will try to answer questions. His pre-lab quizzes are difficult. He frequently tries to scare us by saying biology is an impossible major and that were all going to fail. However throughout the semester as he got to know us better he was more engaging and helped us more and was less scary.
Try really hard on exams as final is not easy and u don't want to have to replace a test with final like I did but he will. Lectures aren't helpful as he reads off slides and too quickly. Definitely do able though and gives some EC (14 points for me) at the end. Also do well on quizzes in class so read over notes daily and BE ON TIME DONT BUY BOOK
Bramblett gives quizzes every. single. day. You have to go to class even though all he does is sit on his desk and read out the notes. You need to be studying 24/7 to be able to do good in this class. There are a couple extra credit opportunities so try to do all of the homework surveys if you can. The material is extremely difficult so study!!!
I had Professor Bramblett for Anatomy lab. While it is a very tricky class, it is easy to get an A or B if you try. He gives pop quizzes before every lab so study for those. Go in the lab to study for the practical. He rushes through the directions so make sure to watch pre-lab videos about what you will be dissecting.
He only offers 8AM MWF lectures, but it's worth taking. There is a quiz at EXACTLY 8AM EVERY morning, so class is mandatory. I never made above an 86 on a lecture exam, but Bramblett gives plenty of chances to make up points. He types up all of your notes, but I ended with 174 pages of notes and 2300 terms on Quizlet. Be prepared to study A LOT!!
I had Bramblett for lab & lecture (which I highly recommend). Always take advantage of open lab the weekend before practicals. In his lab, you're most likely going to have to teach most of the material to yourself, so come to lab prepared. Be sure to study for the 10 question quiz before each lab (these are the points that turned my B into an A)!!
He doesn't exaggerate when he says you need to memorize his notes. There are tons of quizlets just look up his name! He offers extra credit which I recommend doing it turned my B into an A. I made a 70 on the final and got an A overall by doing super well in his lab because lab is 40% and lecture is 60%.
I took this class during the 6 week summer semester. He did not post anything for the first three, almost four, weeks. The final two weeks was purely playing catch up. Tons of reading guides with 20-70 questions on each. He is really sweet and replies fast. Does not tell you how to improve when you get something wrong on an exam.
He is not constant with posting assignments. He does not reply to emails in a timely manner.
I took him for lab and lecture during spring of 2020 (AKA the semester where COVID-19 came into play). Lab was difficult, you have to study your butt off. His tests for lecture are straight from the notes he gives you. A great person with a great sense of humor, but you have to work for your grade. Very nice and helpful. Offers LOTS of extra credit
I took Bramblett's lecture and lab Spring of 2020. We had 8 weeks in person before covid lockdown. I took this course while also enrolled in Physiology. Heavy on memorization. Study as much as you can. You'll cry, but it's worth it. I adore him. Key: study with others who also want the A. I'm now in UTC's nursing school. You can do it. I kept a 4.0
Bramblett was one of the best professors I have had in college! He is polite and fair and listens to his students. His class is not easy its anatomy and its supposed to be difficult. However, if you do the work he is extremely easy to work with! No textbook, but always go to lecture! He gives extra points for showing up!
Bramblett has been my favorite college professor! Very detailed and clear notes are given to you for the semester. You have to work for your grade by extensively studying the notes but his exams come straight from them so if you put the time in you will be fine. His daily quizzes can be pain, but they are not bad and they help you keep up with info
I took this course fall 2020 online. While it was easier in some aspects, I learned nothing. This class was only busy work. powerpoints were the only thing provided which often did not make sense when reading them. Bramblett also was not very responsive after the first month of classes and would assign 3+ weeks of work due in 1-2.
DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR OCEAN LAB! he does not grade anything at all. he hasnt graded a single lab since january & its almost may. everythings super easy & a waste of time. youd get an A easily, but you learn nothing.
Bramblett goes off on tangents about stuff that is not important at all to the course. He posts nothing about what is done in class and all he does is lecture. We only had 3 tests in the class and maybe 2 other assignments so if you mess up on a test or miss an assignment youre basically screwed. He was a cool guy but his teaching style is not.
Professor Bramblett uses the same notes every semester and doesn't change much. We were synchronous, and he read us the notes, which seemed pretty pointless. Hopefully it'll get better once we move on from COVID, but at least he makes a point to know or see his students face-to-face (even if it's on the computer).
I would put in hours and hours for this class each week and do mediocre on the exams. There are 3 exams, daily quizzes, and 3 light homework assignments. I would put in about 5 hours a day for this class, Monday- Sunday. It's doable to pass but it's super hard.
He doesn't explain the material, only reads off of his powerpoint. His 3 tests and final exam are the hardest tests I've taken. I spent close to 20+ hours in total studying for each exam in lecture and lab separately. If you're not committed to dedicating your entire life to this class, don't do it. He takes the entire semester to grade anything.
This class is very hard if you don't put all ur time into it, however dont get me wrong the professor is such a gem. He understands students very well and try to help them as much as possible. This class requires alot of study time and energy.
This course goes through material fast so it's important to keep up with things and consistently study.
Overall this class was one of the worst classes I have taken at UTC and it's not the material that I disliked it was Bramblett's way of teaching and useless rambling. He reads off the PowerPoint. Took forever to grade work. I enjoyed learning anatomy but not through him. Recommend taking the course at chatt state if you can.
Bramblett starts class with a quiz at 8am so make sure you study the night before, these can really help your grade. He reads off the powerpoint slides and then goes on tangents that have nothing to do with the topic. Also, he tells students to drop the course throughout the semester. Anatomy is VERY difficult. Be prepared to spend 10+ hours on it.
the absolute worst set up for an anatomy class. flies through content like its nothing. very conceptual tests that are way harder than they need to be. 10+ hours outside of class per week. he has notes typed up for you but its in the worst set up known to mankind. this class has got to be changed, but its our only option unfortunately. go to class
extremely condescending attitude- you'll pick that up on the first day. his quizzes aren't bad, he drops a lot throughout the semester. this class needs to have a different set up, maybe split into more sections for a more intimate learning experience. don't be scared though, you'll make it through, you'll just feel brain dead by the end
Daily Quizzes every day, so don't skip class! He's very understanding so just email him or go to his office hours. Lectures are heavy and move quickly, so you'll need to recap a lot of stuff you learn outside of class like 2 assignments besides quizzez and exams. The exams are really hard and just tricky Overall as a person the professor is great!
His anatomy class is hard. Very limited homework assignments, BUT lots of studying. There is a lot of information, but he is more than willing to help. If you can take him for the lab class too. Bless that sweet short man.
Anatomy is hard, but the way he teaches is awful. The only reason you need to go to class is to take the quiz, other than that he just reads off the notes- does not do any real teaching. His exams are horrible. He tries to trick you as if the material isn't hard enough. I spent 15+ hours studying each week for his exam and did mediocre.
This class is very hard, and there is a lot of studying that needs to be done. There are 5 question quizzes that are timed each morning, so I don't recommend skipping. He goes over a lot of content in each lecture, and it can be overwhelming at times. The tests are cumulative, so you'll definitely have to recap a lot of the content.
Anatomy is a really tough and demanding class. Bramblett doesn't teach, he just reads the lecture notes. He also belittles you all the time and makes you feel dumb for not understanding. He doesn't have compassion. He has never even taken an anatomy class before. He makes the exams purposefully tricky. If you can, take someone else.
QUIZ at the beginning of EVERY class, if you had technical Difficulties you got a ZERO. "Studyguides" would have the entire powerpoint so it was no bother to use that, just read the textbook instead, all he does is read the powerpoint every single class. Maybe a good fit for some students, not for me.
He doesn't teach, only reads off his PowerPoints. He hardly engages with the class, so it's tough for those who are hands-on learners. I am typically a straight-A student, but it was difficult having to reteach myself the material since anatomy is a rather complex subject. This course is very tough, and I would recommend taking it somewhere else.
An extremely challenging class, but you can totally do well! He does read off of the slides but as long as you are giving yourself adequate time to study/memorize them you will do great on exams! DONT NEGLECT LAB! You will have to intensely dedicate ~3 months of your life to lecture/lab, but in the end that good grade will be worth it!
I swore I would never take him again, until I had to due to him being the only professor teaching another course I needed. His lectures are all over the place and he rambles, so it's very hard to follow. He's very belittling when the class doesn't understand something. Tests are hard and he thinks it's hilarious to put trick questions on them.
He is cool and very knowledgeable of his subjects.
He just reads from slides the whole time and goes into no detail, lets this one guy who knows everything about any rock ever answer all of his questions and then move to the next things, gives no definitions for the rocks, gives no guidance on things to study for, the study guides are just his lecture notes with hardly anything filled out.
Excellent professor! The bad reviews on here baffle me. He is very understanding of any problems you are having and is more than willing to help if you need it. Tests are cumulative but very straightforward and his powerpoints are set up in ways that made it very easy to understand. Numerous extra credit points as well if you need them!
While I assume Prof. Bramblett is a great man outside of class, his Historical Geology class was extremely difficult and information/ memorization heavy. Though not required as a pre- req for Historical Geology, I HIGHLY recommend taking Physical before Historical, as he will cover things that you will not understand without taking that class.
This class was AWFUL and i would never recommend it to ANYONE unless it is required for your major. There is a test at the beginning of EVERY lab and those quizzes were the only reason i have a C. He is also terrible at putting grades in (It is currently Nov 20, and the mid term hasnt been graded). Im sorry in advance to anyone taking this class.
All this professor did was sit and read off the powerpoint. He never explained much and when he did he expected us to know it all already. If you ask a question he belittles you which is extremely rude. I would not take this class with him if you want to pass. Quizzes everyday.nothing on the powerpoints. Not a good teacher.
Anatomy with Professor Bramblett is no easy feat. Be prepared to dedicate 10+ hours per week to stay on top of the demanding course load. While the lectures can be dry, using Unstuck ai alongside the textbook can help make study time more efficient. Tough exams, but worth pushing through for the valuable knowledge gained.
Good teacher - anatomy is hard no matter who you take. You can tell he wants you to do well. At the end of the course he added 5+ extra credit points
………..twat
I found this class incredibly difficult. Most of it is memorizing things, which I am not good at. I feel like the lectures don't help, either. I personally don't mind the quizzes but sometimes the lab ones are difficult and affect my grade. Do NOT take this class if you're just looking for a science credit. If it's required, take GEOL1110 first.
BEWARE. run while you still can. I am still trying to mentally recover from this train wreck of a class. Take astronomy not geology. I promise this science is not worth it.
Anatomy is a tough class, but he doesn't try to trick you; you just need to understand the material. He is very clear on his expectations, and you need to put in the time to do well. He expects you to do well since most people who take anatomy are going into healthcare, and you will need these skills for the profession. Go to class and engage!
Every lecture is the exact same... powerpoints and him talking about non-related topics for a hour. His exams are very heavy graded with trick questions and the only other grade you will receive is a daily attendance quiz. He's not necessarily a bad teacher, but he's very hard to learn from.
He never released the midterm grades until the day before the final… Labs are all group work and easy, but the midterm/final is tough. Every lab will have a quiz beforehand. Good guy and decent lab teacher, but he never grades anything till months later which is very frustrating.
Awful and arrogant. He doesn't "teach". He data dumps in lecture and lab and explains nothing. He expects you can memorize it all but doesnt give homework in lecture to help you memorize or indicate what he wants you to know. normal average grades on exams are failing. Nothing on the "exam study guides" was on the exams.
He does not teach. He is constantly off topic in lecture. There is no guidance. He doesn't prepare you for exams. He seems to intentionally try to make everything as hard as possible. The content he teaches is not freshman level it covers classes in bio and geo that are 3000 and 4000 level but this class is 1120. Most ppl fail the tests.
