He is incredibly focused on improving your ability to write at a professional level. All of the classes assignments( except quizzes, which are easy) are meticulously graded, and feedback is given on how to improve rhetoric and grammar. He will markup your papers with suggestions even if you are good at English; however, he is generous with grades.

You have to do 5 journals, write three essays (two short essays, one research paper), be prepared for reading quizzes, and lastly, participation. Do not wait at the last minute.
