Passionate guy and clearly cares about real world issues. His marking scheme is flexible & his lectures are really interesting & fun to attend. Midterms and final can be brutal, study for them using past exams

Dr. Kerr is the best! I'm really not interested in ecology, but he manages to make the class very interesting and his lectures are really easy to follow along with. Exams are a bit challenging but I would say they're fair. The worst part about this class is the labs, they're diabolical. But overall, Dr. Kerr is super passionate, highly recommend!

Professor Kerr is a fantastic prof. His lectures are engaging, he's funny, and he really wants his students to succeed. He does extensive review before every exam and makes his expectations very clear. He is always accessible outside of class and willing to go over previous exams and fill in gaps in your knowledge. One of my favourite profs so far.
