Prof Lehman is a wonderful teacher! I used to hate history but I can listen to him all day! He is very passionate & tells the info like a story. Very leniant & understanding, always willing to help. I would definitely recommend him to anyone! If you take notes you will ace it. I was actually sad when his class was completed.

Mr. Lehman was so helpful to me. I have a hard time understanding History, and he told it like a story and really helped me to understand everything. You do have to read 2 assigned books for the class, but this class is so easy! He writes out chapter outlines if you miss a class and the final exam is comprehensive & easy. Good sense of humor too.

I absolutely loved this professor. I originally wanted Clark, but his class filled up too quickly. Lehman was a fabulous alternative!!! He gives multiple opportunities for extra credit and is very involved in his lectures. Although his class is pp lecture his enthusiasm for his subject makes it interesting. Mr. Lehman shows passion when he teaches. He makes the class interesting. Take good notes and you should past the test. You have to read 2 assigned books for the class, and write an essay on them. Very easy though. He has a good sense of humor. I do not like history but i enjoyed this class.

I took Mr. Lehman for History 1301 and 1302. He is phenomenal. He draws you into his lectures of history. He takes such an uninteresting subject, and makes you want to find out more about what he is teaching. I would recommend any of his classes.

TOOK IN SUMMER CLASS, HAD TO PURCHASE TOTAL OF 3 BOOKS. WRITE ABOUT 4 ESSAYS. ASSIGNMENTS QUIZZES DUE EVERY OTHER DAY. QUIZZES EVEN IF YOU READ CHAPTER ARE STILL PRETTY HARD.

Mr. L was great. Took him online and everything was very clear and easy to follow. Take quizzes as many times as you want to make the grade you want. Absolutely no reason not to make an A. 2 tests, each with 3 tries. 5 papers to write, but very easy and he's very open minded about letting you express yourself. Best History Prof EVER.

He loves his subject & keeps your attention. Print his online notes, read the pages he assigns, and pay attention. If you do this class is really very easy. He does assign two books & several essays, but he grades based on content not writing ability. If you have to take HIST 1302 buy the book, because you will need it for that class too.

I had him over the summer and he was great. You do have to read a couple of books and make a report but its super easy. Take notes and read through them and you will ace his class!

Amazing teacher! If i could take his class all over again, i would. So easy.. the tests are easy if you study and he sometimes tells the class a few answers on the test! No homework. just some quizzes online and thats it.

Great instructor and I took it online. Very helpful and answers emails regularly. If you keep up with the reading and assignments you will do fine. There are 3 books other than the textbook you have to read and 3 writing assignments which are a bit challenging but overall, great class. Highly recommend!

I would HIGHLY recommend Professor Lehman! He really works with students to help them obtain the highest grade possible given their circumstance...no textbook, absences, etc. He's also really passionate about his subject and creates a fun atmosphere to learn in. Professor Lehman's retellings of history are more like stories than a lecture and he makes sure to point out the important terms for the tests. Overall an excellent professor, you won be disappointed.

I took him online for summer 2 and even though it was pretty busy and there were two extra books to read in addition to the textbook as long as you read it and did what you were supposed to it was pretty easy--I only gave 4 instead of 5 on easiness because of the heavy workload during the summer. He was super nice & helpful! Def Recommend him!

This is one of the Best and my most favorite teachers at MCC! He is very fair, understanding with late work,promptly answers all questions through email or in person. Professor Lehman is simply marvelous. Funny, nerdy, sweet, pretends to battle invisible people in the front of the classroom. Marches between tables. Makes history very engaging, memorable, and easy to understand. I've never had an interest in American history, but I choosing to his 1302 class as an elective, he's that great. He's also adorable.

He's just so much fun and will always answer any questions related to the topic (and sometimes off-topic ^.^). He was my dual-credit professor and everyone loved him. You have to write the occasional essay, but they're very easy and he doesn't grade hard. Even though the tests are pretty easy, you'll still want to take notes during the lectures, too. He is very clear during these lectures and we rarely had homework, except for the occasional online quiz.

Mr. Lehman is hands down the best professor at McLennan Community College. While my time there (2013-2015) I have never had a better professor. It's impossible to fall asleep in his class, he is very funny, and as long as you write down what he does, and study the material, you will make an A. Not much homework at all. Had him for 1301 and was so easy I decided to take his class again cause easy A. Format had changed, but still super easy. Have work to on online program called Aplia for like 12 chapters, read to book and quizzes and essays on them. Watch a few documentaries and quizzes for them. By far best professor at MCC.

Prof. Lehman is passionate about his subject matter, which makes him a phenomenal instructor. He is laid back, fun, and open in his lectures. I felt he really brought the history to life and highly recommend taking him. He explains everything that will be on his exams. I read the book some but I mainly took really good notes and relied on that.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED taking Professor Lehman! I took him online for both 1301 and 1302. Made A's in both! The classes are split half on BB and half on the book website! If you do your work, there is no excuse not to pass! Would take him again in a heartbeat! I was able to do a lot of homework while at work. I would definitely recommend him to others

No Final, and be prepared to work off Aplia platform as well as black board. The work was very interesting, and informative. I suggest going straight to the questions in Aplia and not worry about reading it word for word. The Crash course videos were very funny and entertaining. I hope to take his class for History 1302.

Love this class! Learned so much. He uses a program called Aplia and its pretty easy. He does have some assignments on BB. No final exam. I learned so much and at first I thought this class was going to be a struggle for me because I hate reading. With Aplia there is a online textbook that will read it aloud. This came in handy.

I LOVED this class! I work FT so I thought that with it being a Summer class it was going to be too much, it wasn't. Lehman is SUPER nice and promptly responds to emails. If he taught other courses that I need, I would take him again. Just follow his calendar and you have it made.

Professor Lehman is such a good professor and I wish I would have taken him on campus. In his online class he posts lecture videos with each chapter and this gives you an opportunity to see his personality and learn better. His quizzes are quite tough but it will make you a better learner. Reading is also a huge requirement for this class.

I took this class online in Summer 1 it's A LOT OF WORK. Be prepared to read an average of 3 chapters per week, 3 chapter quizzes per week, average 6 weekly videos /documentaries, 3 weekly video quizzes, discussion boards, plus 2 additional books a little over 100 pages a mid term and final. Would take again, always responds and helps with issues

Chapter tests and books to read also (tests on them too). Was very interesting to watch his online videos. I ended up learning a lot from him. Very challenging class. Do the work. Follow deadlines. You will pass his class.

Took online summer two class. A lot of work and a ton of reading and video documentaries to watch. The material is not hard there's just a lot, clearer grading criteria. Time quizzes and exams very short time given make sure you know the material. Extra credit given instructor very helpful with any issues.

This is the funniest man you will ever meet. He is also so nice that it will make you hate every other professor. Lehman is a classy man who will likely switch between the same 3 shirts the entire semester. Try to make fun of him and he will either crumple in shame or have a good comment right back.

Easily the best teacher I've had. I never used the text book at all and still passed. You can show up late to class and he won't make a deal about it. Lectures go by fast with him. Only 4 test which are easy as long as you pay attention, and 2 really easy essays. There are also 4 quizzes but it's only 10 questions and you get 3 chances to do them.

He does provide printed notes that just have a bit more detail than the in-class notes. We did have two essays but they were super easy and fun. 4 tests including the final which is noncumulative.

Professor Lehman truly loves History. His lectures are very interesting and he can be very humorous at times. I took American History 1 from Professor Lehman my sophomore year of high school for dual credit. It was an easy A; he is an excellent professor who is very engaging and has a sense of humor! He posts video lectures weekly and assigned reading; there are two quizzes each week and a few exams throughout the semester. Highly highly recommend him!! :)

I had a great time taking Professor Lehman this fall. His lectures were very helpful and informative and his slightly awkward humor was fun to watch. He was VERY lenient when it came to grading. He took late assignments, and I had the option to redo the quiz (which was open book) if I got a bad grade on the first attempt. I would take him again!

I took Professor Lehman for my winter mini semester. And the class was easy and he is also funny and he adds jokes in his videos . I really never liked history but he was an amazing professor and put his effort. Quiz and final was easy I recommend you to take Professor Lehman 10/10.

This guy is amazing!! If he was able to teach all my future history classes, he is the guy I would pick every single time. Take his class! You have lectures which are mostly less than 20 mins long and he makes History so much fun! All tests and quizzes are open note. There is no possible way to fail this class. You will not regret taking his class.

Such a great professor and I would retake these courses if I could! He posts lectures each week which is very entertaining to keep you engaged. His study guides are also almost identical to the exams which can be very helpful. Would definitely recommend this course and professor to anyone! :)

Wish I took his course in person, took the class online but still retained a lot. His videos are enjoyable to watch because he seems so passionate about what he's teaching. Very good teacher:)

So incredibly easy. Lectures are super easy to follow, just study your notes and exams will be a breeze. Most exams are common sense anyways especially if you've taken US History before. Lehman is genuine and if he likes you, he'll be easy when grading papers.

Professor Lehman is such an amazing professor his videos are funny and fun to watch! I would take him again! easy A if you pay attention to his videos! Book is required quizzes are not hard everything is on his videos and on the book. 4 essays which were easy to me!

I took him two years in a row because I genuinely enjoyed him and his class so much. He is very easygoing and friendly. Always respond to emails and will answer any questions you have. History has always been a bit boring to me, but he made it very enjoyable! Would recommend him to anyone and everyone(Especially if it's your first year in college.)

Professor Lehman is absolutely amazing! I took US History II with him, and basically the entire class is just listening to his (super interesting!) lectures, studying your notes and the notes he provides, then taking a test over the material every four weeks or so, there's no final. He's also super funny and truly cares deeply about his students!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST HISTORY TEACHER! His video lectures may be outdated but it is still funny and entertaining to watch. As somebody who grew up in a different country and is taking US History class for the first time ever, Professor Lehmann is so passionate with his teaching which makes it very interesting. I learned a lot.

This professor is awesome! He genuinely cares about his students, very easy to talk to, and is very passionate about teaching. His videos are entertaining and goofy, awesome class!

I loved him. Every lecture was like having a conversation. It was so easy to learn with him. I also had a hiccup on the first test and he gladly allowed me to retake it after explaining the situation. AMAZING PROFESSOR.

Professor Lehman's class is a real treat! His engaging lectures and use of tools like unstuck study make learning history fun. The coursework is manageable, and he's always happy to help. Definitely take this class if you want an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

By far the best professor I have had. He is super funny and engages with all his students. It's easy to pass as long as you listen to the lectures and take notes. You only have to take tests/quizzes and write two papers. He is a big swiftie so that adds extra points with me. Like I said he's amazing! Definitely take him!

I loved Dr. Lehman's class. His videos show his enthusiasm for history. There were two quizzes a week, one on the video lectures he posted and the other on the book. I plan on taking his class for Hist 1302! He made history fun for me!

He is super awesome!! Best professor I've ever had! He's super caring about his student and genuinely cares about everyone. He's one of the funniest people I've ever met and his work is super easy. TBH I spent most of the class doing other work for my harder classes, and still understood what was going on. He curves every tests!

This professor was very passionate about his teachings. His lectures were very in depth and provided me with plenty of information to make good greats on quizzes. Very quiz heavy and not a lot of essays.

He has been the best professor i have ever had, his lectures are very interesting and funny. His assignments are easy to follow and navigate. Im want to take him for History II but im not suprised the seats are full. I enjoyed having him and i recommend him to everyone.

He was a great professor! Probably the best one I have had. He is very understanding of the fact that you have other classes and other work. His grading system is also great. He uses lecture videos which you will then take quizzes over, with papers every now and then. Definitely would take him if you could, he is the best!!!

I took his class online and it was great. He made video lectures that were hilarious and entertaining, and informative. There were some writing assignments, but they weren't difficult or harshly graded. He was encouraging and helpful.
