Dr. Thorman is great. She really wants us to understand the material. She goes out of her way to help her students and is very good about returning emails.

Fun easy class if you read the chapters you'll do fine

I loved this class! Dr. Thorman is an amazing teacher and she makes psychology so fun! I would love to take her again. I hated going to her class because of the students. They treated her like crap and talked over her the entire time. It was rude and disrespectful and I really feel sorry for her for that.

Not very good at keeping the classroom discussion on topic. Very easily sidetracked. Will go out of her way to help though. Points are given on attendence. Tests are super easy if you do the study guides. I hated the people in my class, but the professor is very helpful.

Best professor EVER. Easy class, and if you study well you will do fine on the tests. Just make sure class discussion stays on topic because it can deviate occasionally.

Ms. Thorman is an easy teacher by makes the class interesting. She teaches directly out of the book, and gives you a study guide that covers EXACTLY what will be on the test. The tests are easy even if you didn't study that much. The only thing I didn't like about her class was that it tended to drag on at times, and she's easily distracted.

I really did enjoy this class. Yes, the class can get bogged down with class discussion etc. but I never found it to be boring. Read the book and take notes go to class always. She gives you a really great review sheet for each exam and plenty of chances for extra credit. She is patient with people who ask questions so don't be afraid to do so!

Abnormal psych was fun and she covers the material well and gives study guides before each test. Tests have alot of essay questions. No homework, but you have to give a powerpoint presentation over a mental heath disorder. Counts attendance for part of your grade.

Dr. Thorman is really helpful. I was in her Behavioral Stats class. She walks you through all of the formulas. Do your homework and you'll be fine.

I really liked Dr. Thorman's class. It was fun and interesting. I got a B in her class and I know a few others that got B's too. It wasn't terribly hard, but you do have to study and go to class.

This class is super easy, show up on review days, MEMORIZE the study guide, youll get an A. Study guide and tests are exactly the same. If you want to actually LEARN psychology, avoid this class. If you need an easy class, take this.

I needed an easy class with the load I have. She is a really nice lady! I loved the stories she and other class mates would tell. She is a must have!

Class is easy and interesting. It took me alot to get up in the morning to go to the class though because we mainly just got into discussions about other students life "issues" and disorders, which was annoying. Professor was sweet but gets distracted easily. If you take in the afternoon, go for it. I'd recommend.

This class was a great learning experience. I have never really been all that into psychology but I learned some very interesting things in class. Be in class, take notes, and study before the tests. She gives you study guides but don't forget to use your notes as well. The tests are fairly easy.

She is so sweet and really funny. She knows exactly how to teach. She mainly uses her life stories to help understand the basics of psychology. Study the study guide and know your information, and you are good to go! Everyone should get an "A" in this class.

Mrs. Thorman is a very kind teacher. Admittedly, a lot of times she seems tired and distracted but it's probably because she teaches a lot of other classes. And yes, she does go off topic at times. Still, she is a solid Psychology Professor who can explain all the concepts quite easily and clearly.

Took Mrs Thorman for Intro to Psych.I found the class a bit harder than Developmental Psych,but she is a good teacher.Seems a bit quiet & shy unless someone makes her mad then she'll tell them,but she doesn't get really mad.I passed w/a B.She gives extra credit by giving 1/4 of a point for makeup test questions.Not much homework.Only test grades.

Dr. Thorman was very helpful and seems to have a strong understanding of the subject. I learned a lot in this class. Some of the students had difficulty understanding some of the concepts, which caused the class to move slowly at times. Even so most all of the topics in the book were covered. I really enjoyed the class and got a lot out of it.

She was pretty good. Her class can be a little awkward if you dont like to talk. But other than that study and make a B easy enough.

Thorman is so sweet, she is a great professor. I learned a lot from her. We have a lot of class discussions, the more you talk the better! There are 4 tests and i think 6 assignments. It is all super easy but you leave learning so much.

She was a really awesome and nice teacher! Willing to help people out when they missed class. Class is mandatory for extra credit and she puts in an attendance grade but I was more than willing to go to her class. The book was no mandatory but to do the study guides it helped.

Her class includes few exams, and 1 presentation (can be in groups). Her exams are in the form of essays, but it isn't hard! Just look everything up in the book, read over it, and it's an easy A! In class it's all discussion, but it's not boring because she includes stories of her own, or lets others talk sometimes.

She was an awesome professor. She was always willing to help you if you were struggling or had questions. She wouldn't just read from the book she would actually give examples and let you tell stories that applied to what the lecture was over. Show up and do the online quizzes and you will make an A

I took Intro to Psychology, very easy class as long as you read the material, Professor Schultz is a nice lady, very easygoing.

I took her for personality theories, I don't know if I got the number right on there but I took it online over the summer and she was really helpful. What she wanted us to do was and she was very helpful whenever I emailed her, I always got a response. Good online class.

This was by far my favorite class out of 5 others, during first semester. Pay attention, participate in discussion, do the online quizzes and you will do fine in the class. Most awesome thing is she offered an optional final. I wish all professors did that. Made an A in the class, and learned a lot.

Dr. Schultz teaches pretty well. Clear and in-depth lectures. Some say she goes off topic but it all related to the subject. Good teacher that is knowledgeable on psychology.

Professor Schultz is amazing. She's not a tough grader and rarely gives homework. Lectures are engaging and fun with students. There are easy chapter quizzes that aren't due in weeks. Exams are basically right off the lecture and quiz questions. So if you listen and study, it's a fairly easy A.

This class was by far the easiest class I have ever taken. Online quizzes are open book and you get as many attempt before the deadline to make a perfect score. Exams are easy, she tells you exactly what will be on them and almost all her assignments take about 10 minutes to do.

Dr Schultz is an enthusiastic lecturer and is passionate about her subject. She encourages participation in class. The class is easy and the requirements are clear. Dr Schultz is a generous marker. Sometimes the class can seem to meander and lack direction but on the whole I would definitely recommend taking Dr Schultz's classes.

She was a wonderful teacher! I loved that she didn't give a bunch of busy work but I still learned the material! I would defiantly take a class with her again if I could.

Dr. Schultz is a great professor! Her tests are very easy and straight from the online quizzes. I took her for Intro to Psych. and Personality Theories and received an A in both. She is very nice and answers questions in good detail. I am now a psychology major because she made me love it so much! Very inspirational! Highly recommend!

Took personality theories course (online) and loved it. The class wasn't crazy difficult but it definitely wasn't a snoozer. She doesn't give out busy work but she makes sure you understand your material and expects you to convey what you've learned in your papers. She's a fair grader and gives great feedback. I would take her courses again!!

She's a very sweet professor! I didn't do as well on her test, but still got an A. she's very caring about her students. She mostly teaches from the book, so the book is needed for studies. As long as you try and do the work, she gives you a good grade for it. Over all as long as you don't slack studying for the test and HW you're good!

LOVED this class. I took Dr. Schultz online Personality Theories class. I would highly recommend taking this class. There are a good amount of quizzes, but they are 10 questions each and NOT timed. 6 papers over personality theories. She is not a tough grader and she gives awesome feedback. No book needed. You can look up all the theories online.

She is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She clearly explains every topic she teaches, and actually made me more interested about the field of psychology.

GREAT PROF. Highly reccomend Dr. Shultz. She is very sweet and incredibly understanding. 3 tests and option to not take final if you like your grade (drops lowest test grade). One group project at the end which is short. Very great class!

She breaks work down into 5 modules and you have about 2 weeks to do each. You will write a total of 6 papers about the different personality theories. The class makes you think but is really good! Do the work and you should get an A! All tests are online on your own computer.

I took this class online. The class was very well laid out.. Something due every Sunday. On weeks there were not tests you had a connect assignment or two. On weeks you had tests there wasn't any assignments, just the test. No powerpoints so you have to use the book. Slow at putting in grades, but was accessible outside of class via email.

Dr. Schultz is a fantastic professor! I took her Intro to Psychology class and it was great. I learned so much and enjoyed learning. She has a passion for teaching which makes you want to learn more. There are few assignments and I think we only had like 3 tests the whole semester. The final also replaces your lowest test grade!

Professor Schultz made things easy to understand, and would usually include examples of how things applied in her life which was funny. You dont really need to read the book, as long as you pay attention in lecture you can make an A.

Dr. Shultz was great. She always answered emails quickly. When the class was struggling with tests, she made it so we could see the questions in advance. Theres a paper due for each of the 5 modules but you have 3 weeks to complete each one and its basically a summary of each chapter. The final is also a paper. No busy work.

Very organized, short papers, easy tests. Took her online 8 week course over summer. I will be taking her again for another psych course.

WONDEFUL. you have a learning curve once every week or so, you get points for what you get right- no deductions- until you hit a certain # of points. She is so caring and explains everything well. My FAVORITE professor. If you get the chance ABSOLUTELY take her. Small presentation at the end, SMALL. the final is optional and replaces lowest grade.

Easy to understand material. Is a lot of reading but the quizzes and exams aren't very hard; can read over the chapters once and be fine. Most assignments are writing papers, but they're pretty easy. She doesn't give a lot of feedback on assignments, the most I got was a "good job!". She is good about responding clearly to emails within 24 hrs.

Dr. Shultz is a good professor, she is caring, and will give extra credit. I was not doing so well in the class and she offered tutoring. I am not at all good at math and this course was HARD. I definitely did not put in the time i should've had in the course because i had personal things going on. do put in the work and you should be fine.

Very easy grader. I took her class over zoom and she did well with the lectures. You have one main project with group and an individual paper. Other than that a few assignments and 3 tests. A very clear schedule and outline of expectations per assignment. The only this is attendance is graded, but only one point per class. Overall would recommend!

I didn't expect to write as many papers as I did for a mandatory class. Thankfully they didn't have to be too lengthy. This teacher doesn't hand over a good grade, but if you care enough, you'll get an A. I took this class online btw

Took the online summer class. It was easy and manageable! I didn't use the study guides for two of the exams; reading thoroughly is enough. If you plan to save the reading for last minute, check the length of the chapters first, some are super long. The material is pretty interesting, especially the one on psychological disorders.

This was the best experience I had taking an online course. If you do the work and look like you are actually trying, you will get 100%. The textbook reading is super entertaining. Each week you will have a 20 question quiz and you get 3 trys to get 100 and if you read the chapter it is super easy. There was like one 3 page essay but it was easy!

I loved taking this course. It was very informational and overall a class I would take again. The reading can get lengthy, so be prepared to set aside time to reach the chapters. I didnt use any of the study guides, I felt reading the chapter and taking notes was enough. You can retake the quizzes up to 3 times, but the exams are timed.

Professor Schultz was a fine professor. She made herself available to the students. Made sure to grade you fairly. I would take her for another psychology course if she is available.

Easy credits for your degree plan. 3/4s of the work is quizzes and you have a paper due every other week. Class is extremely easy (ex.- I made a 100% on all my papers), but you have work due every 2-3 days so you have to stay on top of it. Even though there was quite a bit of work, I would take her again hands down because of how easy it was.

My favorite Psych class so far. I took her 8 week course, the amount of work was not unbearable (much like most 8 week courses). There aren't any exams. After each unit you are to write a paper. Each unit are composed of about 4 quizzes (open note), a final paper, and sometimes there were personality assessments that you had to take.

I loved Dr. Schultz. She seemed shy at first but she really opened up to my class and she was very funny. Lectures arent boring but they arent amazingly interesting. She was very kind and understanding. Assignments werent too hard and she explained things very well.

This class was awesome! I did take an online 16 weeks. Online textbook, discussion boards, quizzes, and a few papers. Her exams were pretty tough, but she did provide a study guide. Optional final with benefits if you take it! She replied to any emails within the same day and seemed caring. Papers were easy and very beneficial to my learning.

Dr.Schultz was a great professor. I took her class online and it was very easy. She lets you use the book and notes on quizzes and test. Her assignments do not take too long to do and she gives good feedback. There is a good amount of reading but it is manageable. Anyone should be able to pass the class with a B or above.

I would 100% take Professor Schultz again. She was amazing and I really enjoyed the assignments. She gives quizzes and some type or writing assignments once a week. The usually are not too hard. The writing assignments did take me some time to finish but I also get distracted easily so that is part of it.

I had a lot of fun in this class! Professor Schultz is an incredible professor, replied to my emails quickly, and was one of the most knowledgable professors I've ever had. If you take her class, always check when assignments are due--she does not take late work. Take good notes before tests because she does offer corrections!

Professor Schultz was by far the easiest psych professor I've had. She has prerecorded lectures that explain basically everything from the textbook. She posts all the assignments so you can work ahead. TAKE HER CLASS. YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

This course was fairly easy if you do the work; however, the professor rarely gives out a 100 and is a bit picky regarding assignments. Also, it is tough to do the work without reading the online textbook, so if you plan on not reading the book and just researching the answers, this course is probably not for you.

This is my second class with Dr. Schultz and I really enjoyed her. I didn't have any exams, just 4 unit papers, a few personality assessments, and discussion questions. I would recommend this class.

Easiest psych professor at tcc.

Professor Schultz is an amazing instructor! She lays everything out at the beginning of the course - all you have to do is follow the roadmap and you will be successful. She is always available if you need her. A wonderful professor and I enjoyed her class.

I enjoyed Dr. Schultz's class a lot. If you have a small or less talky class, then you might find the discussions boring; wasn't a problem for me, class was pretty entertaining. You'll have 4 straightforward papers, 4 exams, an optional final, and some simple unit assignments in between. Easy A if you care at all about the material

It's a pretty lax class. You read the chapter, do the assignments due on Sunday (doesn't take long at all), she lectures during class, and you take the test eventually (there's four tests). Also, there's 4 papers (APA style) due on Monday then there is a student led discussion the following Wednesday. All in all, very easy and would recommend.

Dr. Shultz is so easy to work with and is a fast grader! I would def reccomend her class to anyone who is interested in learning about behaviors. The work is very easy to get done and does not feel heavy. When I took her class I was working full time and I still had time to do her work and get a good grade ! She is awesome 10/10 recommend !

Professor Schultz is a caring instructor who makes her classes engaging. The content can be dry, but she encourages discussion and provides extra credit opportunities. Unstuck ai was a great study aid alongside the textbook.

She's a good professor, pretty average. I would take her again, pretty understanding, but she will take up the whole class time. I had 10 minutes to get to the other side of the campus and was usually stressed trying to get there. She's easy enough to get along with.

Schultz is a very sweet lady, and a good teacher. Her class isnt hard, each unit is a few very easy assignments and then one unit paper, which isnt hard either if you apply yourself. Your unit test are on paper but she gives the oppurtunity to correct.Cares about her students and good at answering questions. I would reccomened if you want an easy A
