Cool Teacher! No homework, a midterm and final(both in-class essays;easy),two papers, and 6 out of 10 quizes will be what your grade consists of. Will spend classtime discussing thoughts and ideals. Teacher encourages class participation but not necessary, should have lots of fun. Real mind opener!

Mr. Scott's lectures bleed with passion, and so does the way he grades. His discussions were always exciting and insightful. This man is the reason why I didn't get expelled on double academic probation. It came down to one question on the final and he asked me to clarify my answer, which reflected knowledge of the material. If you fail, it's on u!

Would totally recommend, he lets the class discuss and debate within eachother. Discussion boards are simple! tests are a piece of cake as long as you read/skim through chapters and pay attention in lecture! Dont understand why so many poor feedbacks!! Bring your opinions with you and participate in class and youll be fine!

Dr. Scott was an amazing professor, I was worried after reading all of the poor reviews, but his class was great. Attendance is not a grade & the class overall consists of 7 discussion posts, 7 tests and a paper. Lectures are fun and informative. Easy class if you meet deadlines and do your work. No extra credit & doesn't accept late work.

I wish I never took his class and listened to the reviews. This class is YOUR OPINION but yet he still finds a way to give you a bad grade... His comments are down right rude when he decides to reply ... How do you tell someone their opinion is wrong ? Wouldnt recommend to anyone ...

Scott was super easy going and class was pretty much just open discussion. Read the chapters, ask questions, do your discussion post, take your test and pass the class. I loved his teaching style. As long as you do the work the class will be easy. This is by far one of the easiest courses Ive taken. I wouldnt mind having him as a professor again.

His class has a straight to the point set up and fairly interesting. There is no late work what so ever not a problem, but on top of that, no extra credit or retake opportunities, and he's a bit of a harsh grader. On top of that, he doesn't respond to emails quickly, and the exams and quizzes have a short time limit. Just sharing this to anyone con

Was not understanding about the things going on in life right now obviously, im a full time working college student who works 60 hours a week. especially right now you would think a teacher would be more understanding about late grades.

Does not give any extra credit opportunities. Lots of Discussions given, but feedback is not given until after it is graded and it is mostly arguing with your opinion. Read the textbook and hope you understand, basically on your own. Can be somewhat understanding if emergency occurs. Will only hear from him about 2 times regarding feedback on subje

I would never take him again, and it will be good for you if you don't take him he wants everyone's psychology to be the same and think the same way as him. no extra credits at all, and will not help with just 1 point extra to get your grade higher. The class was not too hard you have to be on it and don't miss any deadline. but not with this Prof.

Prof doesn't teach this class whatsoever. All learning is done through MindTap. There are no lectures, handouts, or suggestions from the professor. I'm confused as to why he even gets paid for this class as he does absolutely nothing. Be prepared to teach yourself! Waste of time taking this guy.

Everything about this corse and teacher is slacking, very little materials are provided by the professor and what is provided is brief, riddled with errors, and lacking key points for what you will be quizzed on. Be prepared to think out of the box of what you would find important and note everything that is mentioned of a person.

His discussions are extensive but his exams are fair. He gave out extra credit. The grading criteria is clear as long as you follow the calendar when everything is due you will do great in the class. He does refer a lot to the text book so prepare for that. It's wasn't hard just a little challenging with the reading since I hate to do so.

He gave feedback to discussion boards but he's kinda mean. His other assignments are quizzes/exams plus an essay. If you're even a little tech savvy, you will pass his class with an A. He's kinda weird though. He gives the vibe of somewhat of a try hard, like he's intellectually superior than his students because he doesn't have emotions.

Professor Scott was a fantastic teacher. If you have a differing opinion, he encourages you to defend it. He goes through what he believes are weak arguments and discusses how they are weak and what makes the stronger argument stronger. His class work is 2 things, discussion posts and tests that are based on the textbook. Overall, 10/10.
