Awesome teacher!

Great guy, loves his field.

Class was very easy, and very basic. A trained monkey could probably pass this course.

i was in a lecture hall...on average on 40ppl showd up regularly...if u attend his class regularly,theres no way u cud****out wit neting less than a B+

He gives lots of examples to help you understand the material. If you show up to class and stay consious, you'll do fine!

Very interesting class, very good teacher. The only reason people dont like him is becuase he'll notice if you're sleeping or not paying attention and purposely ask you questions, and then make a public spectacle of you, which honestly, this is college, you deserve.

Good examples, funny guy, good professor. I'd recommend Dr. Cataldo to anyone for intro to psych.

Great Class. I really dont care for psych very much, but he made it very tolerable. Easy to understand, not trying to impress anyone but he knows tons of info on the subject.

Very good professor, very clear and easy to understand. He is always there to help you answer a question or explain something to you.. I like his class a lot

HORRIBLE. The man drones on and on. Very boring. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I agree, very arrogant.

Easy class, lots of extra credit. Handouts are very helpful and he is easily accessible to the student. Great teacher, funny character.

Good guy, funny. The corse is hard but the tests are not to bad if you studie a lot.

This class is interesting but the professor is a snooze .. i suggest you bring coffee to this class if you plan to take it with this professor

Very interesting guy. Gives you everything you need to pass the exams just have to go to class and do the work.... This is college. Grading system is very fair. 3 exams, extra credit assignment and a borderline paper (only 2 page) for those who needs it. Loved Him!!!

Mostly lectures a lot, but illustrates his points with drawings on the board and introduces witty anecdotes. Tests are straightforward. Willing to answer student questions, but not get hopelessly sidetracked.

Cataldo is very demonstrative and clear. The class is hard to sit through sometimes but the tests are simple and straight forward (no tricks).

Cataldo is the best! He makes psychology so much fun and his attitude really reminds me of Al Pacino! I definetly recommend him.

Cataldo is truly an extrordinary scholar. I learned an incredible amount from him. I can't say enough good about this man.

Dr. Cataldo is a very good professor, albeit you MUST study for his tests. His class is NOT a cake walk and you must put some effort into your learning. As long as you study and show up everyday you will know the answers on his tests - they are straight forward and there are no "trick" questions.

Very easy. I didn't even buy the book or stay awake 100% of the time, and I did very well. Just show up and pay attention. He covers some weird things that don't seem very related to psych, but oh well. Good chances for extra credit-- do some studies (fill out questionnaires). Super easy gen ed, highly reccomended. Cool guy, too.

He is an archetypal "professor" complete with white hair, horn-rimmed glasses, and tweed jacket with leather elbow patches. He is an excellent lecturer, and he manages to keep your attention, even when the subject matter is a bit dry. Has a tendency to yell a lot. Take good notes, keep up on the reading, and you should have no problem.

The nicest professor you will ever find! He knows what he's talking about and explains everything very clear. If you have any questions he'll answer them then and there and not say, "come to my office hours later!" He's really nice, approachable, all together amazing professor! Take all the classes that you can with him!

In your first couple of weeks you begin to think woah... why.. but as the year goes on, he warms up to you. I like him, he explains everything aaand if you go to class and pay attention you will do well. There are only 3 tests, non accumulative. He's a good teacher.

DONT USE CELL PHONES IN CLASS! His pet peeve is even the sight of a cell phone in his class. this old coot is a fire cracker! he'll jump at ya, but hes funny as hell. hes great, just studying for the exams is key!

I really enjoyed his class. Missed only one, and have decent grades in his class. Very funny.

Funny guy. Gets really mad if you talk. Makes things clear and practically gives you the notes to print out.

I am taking his class right now and I must say, he is an interesting professor. Smart, knows his stuff, but as people said before, he will jump at you if you use cellphones, come late, don't raise your hand before talking, etc. Great class and he makes psychology fun.

AWSOME! Come to the class even though it's NOT mandetory b/c most of the tests are on HIS lectures. 3 TESTS ONLY...8pts extra credit(HELPS ALOT)...Does NOT give minuses or pluses.

he is so cute! haha he is exactly what a college psychology professor would look like. he is crystal clear with his notes. he has them on angel at the beginning of the semester and u can print them out and follow if you want or take ur own notes. tests are straightforward and if you know the notes you'll do great. very entertaining great professor!

It is some what of a harder class, but he makes it very intresting. He is a very enthusiastic professor and loves psych. Go to class because the notes he gives are VERY IMPORTANT AND ON THE EXAM. only 3 exams throughout the year. make sure you study for it tho.

This is one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. He's a really nice guy!

I took his class and it gave me so much confidence as a student. I got an A in this class easily by studying the notes he gave us, reading the chapters he told us to and using the online tutorial given with the text book. You really want to understand the vocab in this class. Great Prof!!

He is GREAT! Everything he puts in his notes are on the tests, word from word. He is funny and kind(when he wants to be) Attendance is NOT mandatory, he honestly does not care if you come to his class or not, but you are responsible for knowing the material. He HATESS cellphones and will NEVERR let you out a minute earlyy. But he is worth it!

Dr. Cataldo is a great professor, with his lectures being related to the tests and the textbook. He really knows his material. The only drawbacks is that he DOES NOT respond to emails(He explicity states this at the beginning of the sem) and he does not incorporate any type of technology (Videos, computer, etc) He says he can teach without them.

I loved this professor. He is a little old man and so cute. He loves psychology and loves teaching it. NO CELL PHONE USE. He hates that and will call you out in front of the class. 3 tests all semester including the final. Attendance isnt mandatory,but if you want to do well in this class def have to go to class. His tests are based off his lecture

Take this Professor. The only Professor that manage to keep my attention for an 8 am class.

He was really nice. His jokes are a little corny sometimes, but he helps keep the class interesting sometimes.

This class is actually interesting. Cataldo is funny and nice and keeps your attention. He definatly doesnt like talking in class or cell phone use. He can be strict sometimes but if you study you should get an A.

Cataldo may come off as intimidating but he can be funny, his test seemed easy to me because he never tried to trick you, the multiple choice questions were straight to the point. They should be easy as long as u read the book and never use a cell phone in his class & once he went crazy in class just because somebody yawned...lol...

The most straight forward teacher ive had. gives good notes on the web then explains them in depth in class. tests are exacly what is talked about. show up! write notes on the printed sheets and should do well. take advantage of xtra credit if poss.

First off dont use your phone or make monkey noises he will freak out. I slept every class and got a C.

He's very straightforward and truly know what he's talking about. He tends to repeat a lot of material, so make sure you know what he repeats (9 times out of 10 it's on the test). You can tell he has a passion for what he does. He's very friendly and can be funny at times. I like this class a lot.

Very informative teacher knows what he"s talking about, and he is very helpful as a freshman i felt comfortable in 300+ student class, and he makes you feel connected some how

If you don't come to class your not going to pass. He's anal about his class rules, I don't recommend for an elective

Come to class!! or you will fail. if you come to class, listen and take note, you dont have to buy the text book. Although lots of people said the exams are hard, they are fair and straightforward, if you study they should be clear and easy. He makes the class so interesting too so come to class and listen to him, you'll learn a lot.

Prof cataldo really knows his stuff. Notes are very clear, nothing to really be confused about. If you take notes you will do great on the exams. Took this class in my last year, didn't regret it. I really learned a lot. Oh yeah, and no cell phone use! Lol
