Good teacher and teaches great but often goes way off topic into the sexual side of history. If you say something that he agrees with, he will lecture you instead of the class. Challenging to get an A, but you do not have to be a rocket scientist to do it.

He's an easy teacher, doesn't give homework at all. Lectures are pretty clear and if you ask him something he usually has a good answer. He will go off topic sometimes and talk about other things but its good to kind of take a "break" i guess from the class material.

Study and you'll do great. He's a good instructor, the lectures are cool but it's easy to get off topic with him. He always finds a way to make the lectures interesting. The notes are pretty good...can't spell too great but you get the point. You'll learn about govt. and the history of sexual movies and stuff. enjoy!

This professor is great, his notes are very easy to understand, and his accent isn't heavyat all. He gives a take-home exam, and if you can't get a question he tells you the answer! It can't possibly get any easier!! This teacher is great, I have an A+ in his class, I'd recommend him anytime!

This professor is the best!!! When i took GOVT 2301 I got a D and when I took his class GOVT 2302 I got an A. What ever he lectures in class is exactly what is on the test. I really recommend him to anyone.

good teacher. tests are straight from his notes. you only use the book for his take home exams. ive taken him twice and i got an A both times. take him for all your historys and governments if you can.

he has the kindest heart. He is always saying come to my office if you have questions or need help he also helps u with any questions about your history classes or other subjects he knows.his lectures are intreasting and test is exactlylike notes multiple choice 80 questions but 50 take home and he will help you.if only allprof were like him

Funny Teacher. He does get off topic in lectures but he does get his point across. I took him for 2302 and got a 100 ;-0 If you need help he will help. Take home test and in class test are exactly as he said. If you're thinking of taking a GOVT 2301 or 2302 class take him!!! You won't regret it!!!

Great person. Always around to help, usually in his office, if not make an appointment. Tests are easy if you study. Keeps lectures fun and interesting. Not too much work overload but enough to learn the material. I've taken him twice and have been happy to be in his class each time.

Wonderful teacher. I just finished the class and have a 101 avg for the class. YOU MUST READ THE BOOK!!! The take home tests are nice but the in class test comes right out of the book, so reading is a must. He is the most understanding teacher i have had as of yet, always willing to help in all aspects of the education process. grade A+++

Took him for GOVT 2302 and got a 106% and got a 105% in 2301. I don't agree with the last post about the book. You need it for the TAKE-HOME test only!! I haven't purchased the book for 2301 or 2302 and got over a 100% in each. His take-home test are 25% (50 questions .25 points per question) of your test and your in-class test is 75% of your grade

Sir Jerry Inmon is the man! He is probably the most helpful and understanding professor. He makes government fun and interesting. He'll frequently go off topic , but he always gets his lecture points across. He always mentions events and lessons that are relevant to his student's lives. His class is enjoyable and easy. I highly recommend him!

I took gov't one with him and he's a HOOT. Totally cool guy, no real use of the textbook, he puts an outline on the board that you copy and that's what he tests on. Also he says mmkay like Mr. Mackey from South Park, very inadvertently entertaining:)

You have to be a complete idiot not to pass his class. His lectures are all in outline form. He gives take home exams and one super simple paper. He is always willing to help you and goes out of his way to be available. He is very entertaining and you actually learn things you want to know not random information no one cares about. Great teacher!

All you do is take notes and do take home exams before the exam in class, and one (easy) paper. He's big on extra credit so take the opportunity. I've gone to every class listened to every lecture, written every note hes ever said. He makes class interesting, but its IMPOSSIBLE to get an A in his test!!... I hoesntly thought I had gotten atleast an A in his first chapter test (Bill of rights) nope... got a D.. the second test I studied all week and got a C... good but teacher terrivle test!

I just took his class,summer I, and it went really good! I got an A it wasn't easy but it's not impossible. I recommend that you read the designated chapters attend every class for notes and it should be that hard. He is very nice and funny, he also makes the class very interesting! He also give extra credit :) I totally recommend him like I said getting an A is a challenge but not impossible!

Highly recommend this instructor, makes his class very interesting. I did not like Govt before but after taking his class I did learned alot. Take notes, and read the assigned chapters because he will test you on the reading assignments, he also gives you a chance to get extra credit. He is very helpful and it is possible to get an A in his class.

Honestly the best professor at STC. Took him for Gov 1 & 2 and passed both classes. Notes are crystal clear. test is simple. I wasnt all excited for goverment but once I started taking it with him it was very interesting and very fun!. You WILL regret not taking him! MMMMKAY! ;)

Mr. Inmon is an amazing proffesor, if you pay attention to his class you'll do good. We had just a few quizzes based on notes, and the tests as well. do not need the book. He's very good explaining his class and knows a lot about government.

Inmon's teaching was straight to the point, lectured on a need-to-know basis. He gives quizzes that are based off the book, exams are MOSTLY off the lecture notes (some answers I found in the book), get the book even if you don't think you need it, cause it is still helpful. It's not a hard class. He's pretty easy. By the way, he writes the notes.

Took him for Summer I the first week attendance was required then it's pretty much up to you if you want to miss out on lecture. His tests are all based on class lecture/notes. I'd recommend you attend class, the book isn't really required but it helps with the quizzes which are given online. Anyway easy A & gives extra credit

Great professor!! just took him this summer and passed his class with a easy A. all he does is talk and write notes on the board. you have 3 exams that are taken in class and are mostly of the notes he writes. if you do not want to take your final make sure you pass your exams so he can drop the final. He does go off topic at times but he's great!

AWESOME PROFESSOR! took him for a summer session, he just requires you to read the chapters from the textbook but for the majority he breaks it down for you with simple notes to understand on the board from the textbook. The final was optional for this summer course, quizzes were online on blackboard. Easy A, just show up and take notes and study.

Mr. Imon is great! he gives lots of extra credit and always gives you enough time to finish any kind of assignments. Only 4 tests in class, a couple of quizzes which you do at home, a 2 1/2 to 3-page research paper and that's it. easy A

Mr. Inmon is such an awesome professor, we didnt really use our book what so ever and his quizzes were all through BB most of the answers you can find them online. All his lectures were long and he will take all class to lecture. Does give extra credit for voting which i thought was pretty cool and as long as you study for his tests your good to go

Mr. Inmon is a great professor, he really knows his stuff. ask him questions on the material and he will give you a clear answer, the tests are on the lecture notes so make sure to take down notes and study for tests, he also gives extra credit.

Jerry inmon is a really good professor. He lectures all day but it's very interesting. He goes off topic sometimes. We took 8 quizzes and 4 tests drops the lowest test grade. The quizzes are online on blackboard most of the questions you can find on the internet. Tests are based all about lecture notes so write down everything he writes. Easy class

He's one of the very few professors that make going to class worth it. He has a crystal clear way of passing his class. He hands out 4 test and 5 quizzes. Plus he drops the lowest test. As long as you show up to class, his test are easy and if you don't show up you'll be very confused. He's not a textbook professor, he gives life examples to help

Mr. Inmon is one of the best professors I've ever had! I took GOVT 2306 for Summer l. Show up to class, get your book, take notes, get your quizzes done and you will do great! He provides extra credit and the final is optional if you have a passing grade. I got a B, but I recognize that is easy to get an A. I highly recommend this professor!

Although he lectures for the entire class, they are not boring because he connects his concepts to real life examples, so it gets you thinking. He even throws little jokes here and there. His quizzes and exams are basically word for word from his lectures, so just know what you're being taught and you can easily get the A! Highly recommend!

I would recommend Mr. Imon a hundred percent. His class is not only really easy and lenient, but so are his test. Nothing about this class was difficult at all. Mr. Inmon was a really cool professor! Took him for Federal Government 2305. Just have to do discussions on time and everything else is due at the end of the semester! He also responds to both email and BB messages really fast! Exams are on lockdown browser but it's open notes (if I can remember correctly!). He also has extra credit. :)

He requires lockdown browser for all of his quizzes, and some of them are confussing.

Excellent Professor!

He is a good professor overall. For the semester you have to do 14 discussions. Which they're divided throughout the semester. You have to do 4 exams (lockdown browser), they're open all semester, so the faster you finish them the faster you finish with his class. The exams are hard tho, so be ready to read the textbook.

Professor Inmon is a great professor with a simple class. His class consists of 4 exams which only the 3 highest grades will count towards your final grade. There are 7 quizzes which contain questions about each chapter covered in class, and an email is required to be sent to an elected official. He gives extra credit and requires you to take notes

Mr. Inmon gives great in classroom lectures. Every single thing he writes on his board NEEDS to be taken down as notes because it will 100 percent be on the test he gives. He was very accessible&helpful and gave the opportunity of turning in late work for credit and extra credit opportunity too & gave plenty of time to complete all work. a few practice quizzes, and three exams.textbook is required but he does provide the online version of it.exams were nothing like the practice quizzes.textbook is crucial for exams

I took this class presential, the lectures were pretty light, and work was easy with the notes. You should pay attention to the lectures and do the work on time.

Easy class just need to do some reading, we were allowed to use another device to view our electronic book during exams. Took during summer 2. Definitely recommend.

Easy class, just pay attention during the lectures

The class was easy, but you have to stay on top of the due dates, some assignments have different deadlines. No matter how much I wrote or replied on the discussion board, I kept getting the same grade. The only way I raised it was through extra credit. The professor is hard to contact, so do everything early just in case.

Overall a very easy class, as long as you attend lectures and takes notes you should be able to get an easy A in the class.

Inmon sits down and talks for the entire time, No work, no quizzes, just 14 discussions with a good amount of time to complete. He says that the textbook is needed, but we don't use it at all. The discussions aren't hard either. Solid class, would gladly take again.
