I love Mr lombardo. He goes over the HW in class before you hand it in, so if you missed 2 or 3 he'll do them for you. Also his tests are really easy! I had a C in Calc 2 and I have an easy A in Calc 3. Awesome Awesome Teacher

This professor is a GREAT one. If you don't understand, he'll offer you help. His teaching style is also superb, very few people I've met who applied themselves in this professor's class could say they didn't learn or pass (and all say he is an excellent teacher).

This is an AMAZING math teacher. I was absolutely horrible at Calc II, but due to a combination of his easy grading, excellent teaching, and approachability, I passed the class. Great person. Don't even THINK about taking MA242 with another professor.

Professor Lombardo is one of the most helpful teachers in the math department. I went from getting a C in math to a B. He teaches the material in a very understandable manner. Take Lombardo for any math class (make sure you do the homeworks, there 40% of the grade) p.s he goes over the hw before class so you actually dont even have to do it.

The textbook costs 3 dollars. HW's are short and simple. There are 4 tests, 3 count. The EASIEST math class I have EVER taken. The class is a joke, yet somehow you still learn. The guys is a genious in math, and an even bigger genious teaching. I still don't know how he turned Calculus into a joke. I'm still shocked it was that easy.

I transfered this past semester to a new school and I am more and more sure that he was the best math teacher I have ever had. He made everything clear and the reviews helped ALOT on the tests, as long as you do the reviews and understand what you are doing you will do well on the tests

For Calc2, your hw grade replaces a test grade. There are only 3 tests and a final. He skips around in the book, but orders it so that it makes sense when your learning it. He is really good at explaining calc and is sometimes funny. I recomend taking him over any other math professor.

Hez awesome. Just do the reviews before the test and you should be good to go. If you get a 95% or higher in the class, you will be exempt from the final. Just do all the homework, its a big percentage of ur grade( he does them in class before you submit the hwk). TAKE HIM! He is just awesome.

He is a really easy professor. The best attribute about his class is that a point on our homework has equal value to a point on your test, so if you get like a 70 on his test and 100s in his homework, you can still get an A

He's seriously the nicest guy I've ever met. He's always cracking nerdy jokes to try to make the class have fun and goes through the homework as much as you want to. The ONLY thing I didn't like about him, was that he doesn't give enough examples of problems and the test questions are definitely much harder than homework.

This is a professor you should get! His teaching methods are effective as well as his desire for the students to actually understand the concepts. Do all the HMWK, it can raise you an entire final grade!

Jerry Lombardo is a very fun professor. his use of metaphors and anecdotes during class definitely keeps it entertaining and you aware of what is going on. Attendance is not mandatory but it is never a good thing to get behind. In the future, I am going to take any class with this man that I can because he is such a wonderful person.

Had really funny examples almost every class, although they were weird and related to goats. Shortened one of his class by 15 minutes every weekend. Was always at office hours and explained why you would miss points on tests. gave a review sheet and had review day before exams! upload PDF of any problems from the textbook.

Professor Lombardo is hands down probably the best math teacher in embry riddle. There's just the way that he teaches that works perfectly for me. He's very clear and he works in the order that will allow his teachers to understand WHY they're doing certain applications. Would take him for all 3 MA classes if I could, that's for sure!

Lombardo is AMAZING! He is the only reason I passed Calc 1. I took him again in Calc 2 and passed as well. Speaks perfect English. Awesome lectures and examples. If you go to him during office hours or ask questions in class he will answer them very clearly.

Taken Prof Lombardo for calc 2, calc 3, and diffi q. I wish I had taken him for all my math classes. Gives study guides that prepare you very well for his tests. Entertaining and keeps the class involved. Genuinely there to help students.

Some professor frown at you if you ask a simple algebra question in a calculus class, but Dr. Lombardo will take an extra two min and clarify if needed. No question too big or too small.

Had to retake Calc 3 and man am I glad I got Prof Lombardo. His lectures were very clear and he will always make sure everyone is on the same page. You'll have to study for an exam but he won't test you on anything you haven't learned. Hands down would take him again.

Lombardo is the best! He is a little quirky, but that's what makes his class more interesting than typical math classes. If you turn in all your homework on time, he'll usually drop your lowest test score. Be sure to ask questions when you are about to turn in the homework! It'll help you do well on his quizzes and tests.

Lots of people Crap all over him, but his class is quite easy. The homework is pretty simple with plenty of time to get it completed. There are plenty of extra credit opportunities, and exams are exactly like the practice exams with different numbers. No reason anyone should have lower than a B.

Jerry is AWESOME. Im not a math person at all but wow he made me understand it. Thought for sure I'd fail after getting a C in 241. BUT, he is so good at teaching. VERY kind. VERY funny. I enjoyed going to his class. attendance isn't mandatory either, so if you need- you can take a day off if you are stressing or you can get other stuff done. a G!

I took my first MA 242 class with a Prof. Ludu and ended up getting a D. The next semester, I retook it with Prof. Lombardo and did really well in his class. He's a great professor who is good at teaching and solving your doubts. If you're taking any MA class I recommend him 100%

The professor breaks down complex calculus concepts well. Use the free textbook, attend class, and try Unstuck study to ace this course.

The weekly homework (that counts as extra credit) is EXACTLY like the quizzes, and he writes study guides for the exams that are almost 1:1. It might be tough to adapt to his teaching style at first, but if you didn't get a topic, he usually does a refresher problem in the next class. He's also bachelor who lives alone with his cat and he's funny.
