Super funy teacher. I strongly recommend him. He is super helpful. I took the class on summer A, and all the quizes were take home. No final if you have an A on the course.

There is no best professor than this. He is very dynamic, funny, very smart, extremely humanist & MUY liberal. You will learn & laugh a lot. The best is that he gives the quizzes at the beginning of the semester, so you take this easy multiple choice quizzes at home and just give him your assignment on time.

Amazing professor. Makes you want to come to class. Very energetic, knowledgeable and charismatic. Never a dull moment in his class. Take home tests and 1 big essay broke into sections so you don't have to do it all at once. Highly recommend!

Would recommend him over and over and over again. He is ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR! I love him to death. Doesn't give that much homework and makes the class very entertaining, also doesn't make class feel like school. He will treat you with the same respect you treat him with. I LOVE HIM! Had him in middle school and would chose him again every time.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Absolutely talented when it comes to acting and broadway, VERY intelligent guy, little to no hw, major project due @ end of semester which was a monologue, tests are done at home. Highly recommend him. Loooong and boring lectures tho. But he knows what he's talking about

Absolutely loved professor Carlo's class he's so easy to understand and he's very flexible as long as you communicate with him. Such an easy course and he made it fun in terms that you'd understand. We used connect an did assignments online with unlimited time fairly simple and a final only if you're under 90%.

Jesse Carlo is by far one of the best professor I have ever take in my life. He is very good at teaching. He will make sure that you learn without you being annoyed. We do used the book a lot and the Connect web side which was the only annoying thing but if you do it all then you will be just fine and if not then he will still let you do anyway.

Fun and interesting lectures. Uses Connect which is a pain in the neck and time consuming but it is an easy A class. No midterm and if you have an A in the class you don't need to take the final. Attendance not mandatory, book is.

He's a wonderful guy. He's straight forward and there when you need him. He will answer any question you have and help make everything relatable. Barely any homework, just one huge 2000 word paper on the ANY topic of your choice, but he assigns it in pieces, so 4 papers of 500 words that connect. TAKE HIM! You'll get so much out of him.

Prof. Carlo is absolutely wonderful; you'll love his class. He interacts with the class during his lectures and makes the material interesting and much easier to learn. He's very helpful, thorough, down-to-earth, and extremely understanding with his students. Class assignmentstests are flexible (done online), with the exception of a few papers.

This professor is a beautiful human being that reminds us what the meaning of being a human is. I loved his lecture and heart! for our last day of class we went out and had a moment of silence for the innocent people that have lost their lives. WE NEED MORE PROFESSORS LIKE HIM! Your grade depends on the exams, homework, reading the chapters, and class participation. He isn't there to fail you, very helpful and down to earth, makes class fun and worth going every time. helps relate the topics in the class with current issues, and just so you know hes freaking hilarious so every class is a trip!!

This was my favorite professor I have ever taken. He is so hot and he is hilarious. SOMETIMES he's really moody and depending on his mood is the way he will treat the class so beware. I love him so much. All of his work is online and it's a pain in the ass but its an easy A, so get it done. We need more professors & people like Jesse Carlo.

Hilarious dude. I hate history and arts but he makes it so funny that it's bearable to sit in class. Is definitely hot and always dresses well. All assignments are online and at first they seem difficult, but you get the hang of it. Easy A. Only one group presentation. Helped me during a difficult time. Professor Carlo is the best Humanities teacher there is! He is Hilarious! He makes the class fun. When I am reading off the book & doing the homework, I find what I am reading to be so boring, but when he lectures he makes it so interesting! There is homework due every Sunday, Tuesday & quiz on Friday, but they're always easy! Would recommend 10/10

He's super funny !!! I would take this class again. I took class Tuesday and Thursdays and he only made us come in on Tuesday's to talk about the chapters . The rest is basically online but TRUST! super easy. Tests and homework are all online too!!!

I took this course where the assignments were wed-enhanced. Class attendance was mandatory, but he made the class fun and interesting. He likes students to participate and ask questions. Pass all of his quizzes and assignments online and you wouldn't have to take the final. Textbook is mandatory, but overall, great professor!

Only thing the lectures were good for was attendance, all the work is online. He once stopped me mid-sentence during a presentation bc we were running out of time even tho he's kept us 5mins after the lecture ended sometimes. It was very embarrassing and rude. Completely changed my view of him. Funny at first but then it becomes monotonous.

I took him for Humanities and honestly he has been by far one of the best professors Ive ever had. He is very inspirational, funny, hands on, caring, and interactive. Be ready to read since day one, there would be quizzes at the end of each chapter. He expects you to participate in every class. Do not get late for his class and do NOT use your phone. He is very respectful, so he expects you to be the same. Very easy class, read, do the online homework, participate and you'll be fine.

Relatively easy class and professor... DO NOT USE YOUR PHONE. Just show up and do the online quizzes. (the answers are mostly online) He separates you into groups in the beginning of the semester it's best to get acquainted with your class mates to help eachother out with the homework.

My favorite professor at Miami Dade. He made humanities so fun and easy especially bc hes truly passionate about it. Hes very nice and he is always willing to help.
