Mrs. Akers is the best professor ever! She gives lots of work, but I learned more from here than from any other professor in the entire university.

Professor Akers helped me out so much. I don't like giving presentations, but she encouraged us and guided us along so we would all do well. She assigned papers instead of tests and gave guidelines for the papers.

She is caring, genuine, clear expectations & syllabus, makes topics interesting, proposes challenging class discussions, easy to access outside class, & very quick to grade assignments. Do your assignments in a timely manner, put forth an effort, and you will pass with flying colors. I would recommend her to anyone.

AMAZING professor, she really cares about her students and is extremely friendly, personal and entertaining. Not your average class, some days are spent coloring and watching videos, make sure you show up and do the few assignments that are given and you are set.

I took her online BUS 301 class and really enjoyed it. You either have a discussion post or current event due every week along with two chapter of homework and two chapter quizzes. If you can manage your time effectively, I highly recommend taking this class with this professor. Very helpful and always looking out for best of students.

I took Principles of Management as an 8 week course, so lots of reading/note taking during that time. But readings were manageable and more interesting than your typical Textbook. Also she gave lots of extra credit opportunities. Basically impossible to fail if you do what shes asks you to.

Absolutely love Professor Akers. I have taken 3 of her classes and if possible, will continue to take her other classes. All of her classes are online; however, she does not make the workload easy. Everything she assigns is useful and informational and it encourages you to better understand the material. I recommend taking any of her classes!
