Very interesting professor, the class is easy and fun. If you keep up with the powerpoints you will get an A and she makes sure you understand the material..Professors like her who are actually knowedgeable and interested in what they are teaching really benefit the students.

Come to class on time because sometimes she give extra credit for attendance. Test are based on lecture mostly, but some are in the txtbk. It is all about memorization. She makes the class entertaining.

Her class is not that easy. Her midterm and finals are tricky. She gives a study gude but only half of the questions are based on the study guide which means that you need to study every thing not just what is othe study guide.

Easiest class ever! If you have taken other Anthro classes or even Womens studies, you should already know half the stuff she talks about. you're graded on one interview of a friend, a cultural community project/paper, two midterms and a final. Shes funny so you will probably remember all the stuff she talks about! good professor and easy class!

Easy class. Really simple zoo project. (go to the zoo on the days she is there so she can help you). exams are really easy. must be in class to take notes because she doesn't provide the powerpoints online. book is an easy read.

Great Professor. Super easy class. Didnt have to read the textbooks (but they are cheap). 2 test and a paper, we went on a field trip to the zoo!! lecture was interesting just a lot of writting. I highly recommend

She reminds me of Heather McDonald from the Chelsea Lately crew! She's fun and a really effective professor. She's confident when she teaches and I love her teaching style. Only problem is that lectures are not posted online so you must show up. Exams are based off what she lectures so take notes! I studied notes and got an A in the class :)

Hands down my favorite class I've ever taken. Everyone is saying she is easy, that's beside the point. She is an effective professor and makes sure to answer all questions. There was a student that always tested her and interrupted class with personal issues and she handled it very professionally answering all of their questions. I recommend! :)

the class is easy, field paper, two tests, one interview paper. there is plenty of ec opportunities, she's energetic and funny, lecture based, a minute or two of discussion among students on some occasion, i got through this entire class without reading any book but idk you might want to have them handy just in case, i'd recommend her

Class is pretty easy, straight forward, and comprehensive. Attend lectures, take notes (suggest to take a laptop since you need to write everything that is on the slides. The exams consist of multiple choices in which they are based on whats on the lectures! You also need to attend a mandatory visit to the zoo and a fast food and write 5 pages.Easy

Amazing professor! Does an amazing job explaining the material, and will go out of her way to help any student. Straight forward class; friend interview, field paper, midterm, final. Lectures are mandatory (95% of mid/final questions from lectures). Never read the book, barely studied for mid, didn't do EC, & walked away with B+. Take her!!!

Loved her! Prof. Creed is wonderful instructor! Powerpoints are very detailed and her lectures are insightful. She takes time to give examples from today's topics. I Took this class to satisfy the Gender Theme but now have an appreciation for Anthropology. Rarely used the book, paid more attention to lectures and earned a B.

Best teacher I had here. I took her 3 times for different classes and I loved them all. There's one big project for each class and like two tests but that's about it. She kinda looks like lana del rey so that's cool.

Her lectures offer great insights into some stuff in life. Material is organized into slides, and the exams come from those slides. So taking notes at lectures is a must for an A. Besides, she brings a lot of humor to the classroom.

Best professor Ive had my entire college career. I almost wanted to change my major because of her. She is amazing. You will learn so much. If you do not attend class and pay attention you will be a little lost. But she's hard not to pay attention to. Her lectures are very charismatic, if you miss a class you will be sad! Without a doubt, the most passionate and the most knowledgeable university professor that I have ever met. The class was easy and most people did not show up. But the lectures were interesting and she organized her thoughts really well. There was a decent amount of work. We needed to do activities outside of class and write papers and present on them. We also had to write a 8-10 page research paper. But as long as we turned them in, we would get an A.

Great professor. She is lecture heavy but she makes them entertaining and fun to be in. She will make concepts and such relevant to today. She does have office hours and encourages everyone to come, if they can't then she is available through emails. There is a lot of reading but it is relevant to her lectures. It is important.

I want everybody to know how great Dr. Bodoh-Creed is. Her examples and stories explain the concepts and terminology so well that you learn in this class whether you like it or not. She fosters her students' learning. That is why all students love her! She is smart, funny, and drop-dead gorgeous! Leaving this class makes you feel like a new person.

Lectures are never boring and very interesting, you will definitely learn something new every day. First quiz is hard, but the rest of the quizzes are easier. Term paper is very easy, it is based on your opinion. She offers extra credit. She is there if you have any questions. I would definitely take her again.

No attendance points, but exams are based off of PPts (not uploaded online) and lectures. Study guides were accurate to the tests. Always write down what she says during lectures, study and you'll do well.

this is a easy class can get boring at times but overall her jokes are funny and she is very real the first exam was the easiest but the final two you really had to study the study guide to help you but it is a easy class highly recommend her

The first and third were the easiest. It is very possible to pass her class. Just take great notes (laptops are useful) and read the assigned readings.

i have taken her before for another anthropology class and it was the exact same thing just 2 write up assignments with a easy guideline to follow. one midterm and a final multiple choice since it was online open book which was super easy. is really hard to fail. you do have to get a book but its a easy read and just check in for announcement

Prof. Bodoh-Creed was honestly one of my favorite professors. I liked her phys anthro class so much I came back for her anthro of gender class. She helped me learn a lot about LGBTQ+ identities around the world and throughout history. I highly recommend her if you are open-minded. Really don't understand where all the complaints are coming from lol

This class is passable if you do the readings. The readings aren't that long (1-5 pages a week). The course is heavily based on the book and readings. The assignments throughout the course were very simple and fun. The professor will give corrections if submitted early.

caring and really wants us to all pass. class didn't really seem necessary because she didn't provide us with new information. the class was mostly boring but some aspects of it were really helpful.

My favorite professor at CSULA! I am a business major but I wish I had minored in anthropology just to take more of her classes and dive into the subject more. Normal workload, discussions, quizzes, midterm, final, and individual group project.
