She is a very nice, cool teacher. She explains the whole lab in the beginning and helps you through out the lab too. There is a lot of work though. Labs are usually untill the end. Theres a pre-lab report, quiz, and the lab report its self due every lab plus participation. Very good professor, would recommend.

I learned soooo much in her class, you just hve to be disciplined enough to study for her exmas. Her class made me regain my interest in biology. Her tests are not too hard, very fair and she is extremely helpful and nice. Definately one of the best teacher ive ever had. Ifu really want to le ake her class. But it isnt the easies A.

I liked her class. It was a little boring, but really who's class isnt.Not too hard but not that easy either. She gives extra credit on exams, doesnt waste any time in lectures. Content can be a little overwhelming but she does good in explaing things clearly and reviewing for tests.I got an A and didnt work that hard. You do have to study a little

Really enjoyed this class. Professor is extremely fair and willing to work with her students. She is funny, intelligent, and very knowledgeable. Its easy to pass this class if you listen to her presentations and use the study guides and activities she gladly provides.

cool teacher. her class is a bit hard, but not too much. You just have to study.Id say most student got between a C and low B. Take this class seriously and u will pass. You will learn a lot if u pay attention. She tries really hard to get us involved but it usually doesnt work. I recommend only if u wanna learn and have a good memory for tests.

This is how you'll pass her class -- Study all her powerpoints while you read the chapters. If you don't understand something, look at youtube for examples on how cycles/functions work. Shes easy if you study and take the time to do it. Her tests aren't as hard as you think if you study well. Just study, you'll pass. I promise you.

Her class is not hard, read the powerpoint over and over again. You can go to her office and she will help you, she does have a concern for her students and very nice.

What I loved about this teacher is how much resources she provides to her students. She's an excelent professor. Remember to study the vocabulary and go over the homework (it's not worth any points, but do it anyways) and you will do fine in this class.

This Teacher gives good slide shows for every chapter she teachs. All you have to do is just study the powerpoint notes and you will do good on the test and clicker questions.

AMAZING TEACHER!!! She makes her own slides so study the slides and you are guaranteed an A. So many extra credit opportunities its unbelievable! Wish she taught CHM1045 because I would 100% request her.

If you want an easy A, this class is not for you. If you stay on top of your studying, you will get a good grade. Teacher is very nice and willing to help you. Only complaint, is she doesnt give any study guides for tests or any review days.

I don't know about those micro classes but she was great for BSC1005. Her lectures were long but helpful. She gives you plenty of extra credit chances. There are 5 test and she drops 1. DO the clicker min quizzes and they'll help your grade. Overall she was great professor. I received an A.

Professor D is awesome! She's super knowledgable and very easy to get along with. Her labs are clear and she goes out of her way to help out her students every step of the way! Her lectures are short but impactful and she's one of the most helpful professors I've ever had! TAKE HER LAB!!!! You'll be glad you did!!

Great class, but requires studying the book and the power points. Great professor! If you take this class, be prepared to learn something, cause if you don't try to learn anything, you will not pass.

You have to study very hard in order to pass the class. If you do not read the assigned chapters in the textbook you will fail. On the upside, Prof. D always had a smile on her face and sometimes class was fun. Focused more on how plants worked instead of taxonomy.

She is excellent. Honestly, I do not understand the bad comments people have made here. She knows her stuff, and she is very helpful. She gives a lot of extra - credit opportunities, and you can tell what will be on the test because of the way she emphasizes those topics. However, If you are LAZY, do not take her.

Im currently taking Prof. D for lab. There are quizzes every week on the lab you did prior and mandatory pre labs which are easy points. The quizzes aren't easy but they're not difficult either. As long as you pay attention in lab and read over your lab manual you'll do great on quizzes. She's really sweet and approachable. Always available to help

I like Professor D. but her power point lectures are a little lack luster. I found the material very difficult to understand without a test study guide. The tests were 50 multiple choice with 2 - 4 short answer. She does however try everything in her power to help you if you ask. Overall, I would take again.

She's very supportive of her students and I found her powerpoints engaging and easy to understand. You will have to read the textbook in order to pass her exams. She's extremely approachable and quirky. I loved her class.

I loved this professor! She was very clear and helpful. lectures matched the text very well, and all her powerpoints are online. Make sure to use textbook resources on D2L. So useful as the multiple choice questions are on the practice tests on their website. She's very entertaining and her interest in the subject was refreshing. MARRY ME MS Di!

A lot of material, but not too terribly difficult, if you go to class and study. Accessible outside of class. Gives extra credit with some of the "clicker" quizzes. I enjoyed her class.

Great class with a great professor. Most of your grade comes from homework assignments. Ended up only having 2 exams and a final, so make sure you study or your grade will suffer. Plenty of opportunity for extra credit/ a grade boost.

I liked her organized lectures. She always took attendance. We had 5 exams and about 15 quizzes. Yes, I had to memorize many stuff like in biology class and be always prepared for unscheduled quizzes, but every question on exams and quizzes were from her PowerPoints. Printing them out made it easier for me to study & get a good grade!

Prof. D is so sweet. She took the time to create her own PowerPoints which are much more helpful that trying to create your own notes from the actual book. If your looking for the best botany teacher at Broward College professor D is the way to go!

Professor D is an incredible biology professor, she made the lessons very interesting and even created her own PowerPoint presentations to help us understand the material better. Even if you're not a science major, choose her! She gives extra credit and uses Cengage as well.

Prof D. is the easiest bio for non majors you could ever have. I showed up to the lectures, did the LearnSmart homework, barely studied and passed with an A. She is also really there for her students and provides a plethora of opportunity for exra credit. Super sweet and open.

Easiest science class I have ever taken. Given so much opportunity for extra credit, if you study you shouldn't get lower than a B. For tests set aside time to make flash cards from her powerpoints and youll score high on tests. Scored high on first 3 tests dont have to take 4th exam or final to keep A. Just make sure you attend most classes

She'S straight to the point, explains her power points very well, and half the work is online. There's up to 40 points of extra credit in the practice quizzes. She replaces the lowest test, learnsmart, and quiz grade with the HIGHEST test, learnsmart, and quiz you had. Take the time to study for the tests though, it will benefit in the long run!

She's a very wonderful woman. I enjoyed her class. I wish I hadn't gotten injured outside of class. That was the only reason I didn't want to be there. Without the injury, I would have been able to focus much more. I am using some of her suggestions outside of class. Great Class and really nice person in general.

Professor Digirolamo is really helpful and sweet. I took her for Botany lab and her class was really enjoyable. The labs are simple enough and if you have questions she has answers.

Prof. Digirolamo is honestly the best. Some may view her class as tough but that's because they didn't study for the exams. She has 3 tests in total, a genetics exam, and the final exam. No classwork given, and one homework assignment due every Sunday. Her tests consist of what she explained in the PowerPoint. If you pay attention and study, A+!

Professor Digirolamo is a great. You have to pay attention to pass and if you miss something her powerpoints are online for one to go back to. The tests were okay not that bad and there'ss always an opporutnity to get extra credit points on them. She would always greet me when i saw her in the halls. By far that left a mark on me.

This class def improved my work ethic. Take notes & study! Prof. D genuinely cares about her students and their education. She expects participation during lectures but is always open to questions. Tip: copy her PowerPoints ahead of the next class, like she suggests. Really helps! Tests are multiple choice & short answer. I honestly recommend her.

Prof D was one of the best science teachers I have had in my entire life. She loves participation & cares so much about her students even through zoom. Biology was no easy feat but I was grateful she was so thorough in preparing us for tests. Plenty of extra credit that helps you on actual tests too! A phenomenal teacher who loves science! A queen!

Professor D is by far the best professor I ever had. Her lectures are very interesting and she provides the most amazing resources for coursework. She is very easy going and her exams are not hard. I would definitely recommend people to take her class.

Really awesome professor. It's important that you go to class and/or review the powerpoints because that's where most of the info is. As long as you keep up with the due dates, you should pass pretty easily.

Professor D is super sweet. She definitely cares about her students but her lectures are super heavy. Covers multiple chapters a week. Homework is one assignment that has 15 questions but you can retake unlimited times. The tests are IDENTICAL to the lectures. Pay attention, take notes, be motivated, and you'll pass. Take her 100%

Professor D was one of my favorite professors. She clearly has a passion for what she does and truly wants you to pass. There is always a weekly quiz to do but its online and it comes with a practice quiz which is the same as the real one. As long as you pay attention during her lectures and complete the weekly assignment, you'll pass.

I am currently taking this class and I am loving it. She is caring and wants to help her students. Attendance is mandatory and you will get a grade for participation. We have a quiz due every Sunday but they are easy. She understands people situation.

This professor was awesome. If you don't have an interest in botany I would not take this class. You do have to study a lot but the information is amazing. All you have to do is attend class and pay close attention to her power points.

Professor Digirolamo is very caring, kind, and great. She is a tough grader but her quizzes and exams are pretty easy if you study. Her class was good enough for me to pass and understand about Biology. She is really understanding too and always does her best and goes above her way to make everything fair. I can write an essay on how awesome she is

I took in person for a full semester MW and the class was very well-paced and many of the tests were basic memory questions. The homework was super easy and there's 3 extra credit points for every chapter. If you talk with her about absences before hand she'll accommodate, but won't reopen past work. She also drops lowest test and hw grade too.

Prof. D is great! I don't think she is a difficult professor it was the material itself that was challenging for me. Online textbook required but lots of extra credit assignments throughout. Fun and important lectures, don't skip them. The power points are available on D2L though, I would recommend following along during lecture. Take her!!

If you STUDY!! her ppts, you'll ace her tests. Micro is complex but she makes things as easy and clear as possible. She's caring, patient, and wants her students to succeed. The final exam is open book, 1 online assignment per week, 4 unit exams & drops the lowest grade. Her lectures are interactive, she makes jokes and encourages questions. 10/10

Prof D. Was totally awesome. So was available at all times outside of class to help with material you might not understand in class. Her tests was fairly easy, just do all your smart book assignments and study the slides.

Professor D is amazing! I took her for lab and the workload was light. Just reading assignments twice a week. You get 4 quizzes and a midterm and final. She answers all my emails and she encourages us to ask questions! She was always very nice to me:)

I LOVE professor D! I had her for lab and she was amazing! She made the class so fun and I think it was an average amount of work! Micro is hard but as long as you study each experiment, I found the class really fun! Her exams aren't hard if you study the material she gives to study! Not sure why she had low ratings prior to me taking the class

This class has 4 exams using Honorlock, each worth 100 points. The lowest grade is dropped. I'm not great at exams and got a 75 on Exam 1, 69 on Exam 2, 67 on Exam 3, and 59 on Exam 4. I finished with an 88.88% (B). An A is definitely achievable in this class, even if you don't like science or exams. Take this professor!

Professor Digirolamo wasn't bad tbh, I would take the class again . I would recommend this class to other peers, studying is definitely mandatory. You have 4 topic written exams and the tests mean a lot to your grade, if you study her PowerPoints you should get an A on every test. There is a Midterm, a Final , and group project.

The lecture can be a lot but overall a fairly good class. Grading is fair and there isn't much homework. A little challenging but manageable.

She's honestly the best biology prof I have ever had. Be ready to study a lot but it is very doable. She offers extra credit and replaces your lowest test grade with the final exam. Not too much homework. She's so sweet and available, attend her office hours if you need extra help

She's the best Microbiology professor, because She's caring and was quick to respond to all my emails. She very accommodating to personally speak to her through zoom whenever you have questions. Microbiology is a tough subject, so be prepare to study, ask questions, and avoid to fall behind! There's no easy way around unfortunately.

Both the lab and lecture for microbiology are difficult classes regardless of the instructor. Professor DiGirolamo is very clear on what she expects her students to understand for when it comes to the exams (both written and practical exams).
