There is a lot to study here. You have to be on your P's and Q's. She is very cooperative when it comes to testing, she will prepare a paper exam for those who can't take it online. She is very strict in the rules and regulations for her class, but it's for your best interest. Most of my content was online, so it was fairly easy.

Dr. Guerrero is an amazing Biology teacher. She provides the information you need to learn very clearly and teaches it in a way for you to understand. She does want the best for all her students. You do have to participate and pay attention to details in her videos in order to get a good grade. I would def take her class again if needed.

I really struggle with online courses but they're my only option right now and the lectures helped tremendously. Discussion Boards (APA format) are a big thing and you will have one for each Module. They are simple to do and it's simple to reply to others via her guidelines.

All lectures are provided and accesible outside that specific Module. Discussion Boards are a good chunk of the grade and must be written in APA format with citations. Any labs also come with quizzes but they aren't heavy or long. They are all completable with the time frame given and easy to find.

The way I took this course was through a hybrid format, where lectures were online and lab was in person. If you know to procrastinate, be cautious taking this class. I really loved learning through her online classes even though I would have to rewatch a second time through her lectures to really understand the concepts of what she was teaching. I would like to take her for my future biology classes.

I took her for 1406 and her class is very clear on what grading criteria you need to focus on. My only advice to anyone choosing to take her class is that you need to set aside time if you take her online lecture in person class to watch the lectures and take notes because it makes completing all the other assignments much easier.

Dr. Guerrero is very upfront about what she expects. Don't come into class expecting anything handed to you. Although she is tough, she is very helpful and gives you all the information you need to pass the class, just take the time to study and you'll be fine. All the little assignments are easy just really study for those exams. AMAZING teacher!

I never thought I could pass Anatomy and Physiology, but Dr. Guerrero made my experience with this subject so simple! As long as you complete your assignments that's half the battle. At the beginning of the semester, I thought I would definitely struggle in this course and find it very difficult. Instead, Dr. Guerrero made this course very easy to follow with the Grading Criteria, Lectures and Labs being very straight forward and with that I understood the material better. If you use all of these resources, you will pass.

Do not take this course if you are not prepared to study for the exams, they aren't hard but going in unprepared can cost you your grade. I had her lectures and never once did I feel lost her syllabus was simple and straightforward, so I was able to know when everything was due. she did a very good job at explaining what to expect for the lecture exams and lab exams

the class was hybrid so you had to watch the lecture before coming in to the lab. She was really straight forward and did not accept late work, she also didn't accept people coming in late for quizzes or retakes unless you told her long in advance. This class is good teacher great but you must keep up with everything. In this class if you can't grasp something fast you need to study study! Over all her test are easy except for written exams. Those are quite hard the only because you have to memorize really good. Each written exam is not long as she will only give you a minute to answer.

This professor is great, however as a blind student, AP one was quite challenging. Since this course was hybrid, the material was largely self-taught, with both in-person lab and online lectures. I think the lack of an in-person lecture diminished the class's focus and understanding. Additionally, the software was unaccessible.

Dr. Guerrero is one of the best professors I've ever had! She is kind and always willing to help those who genuinely want to learn the topics. Her lectures are easy to follow. Her test reviews directly line up with the tests and explains the topics in different ways until you understand them.

Overall not a bad experience. There was a disconnect between lecture and lab but not unbearable. The course concepts in the McGraw hill online text book are the worst part of this course and its not that they are hard, there are just a lot of them every single week.

I would say to new student is to LOOK AT THE YOUTUBE VIDEOS OF HER LECTURE, they are super helpful especially preparing for the lecture and lab exams. They are easy to understand they may be long but you won't regret seeing them before the exams. Ms Guerrero wants her students to actually understand her lectures instead of memorizing them.
