awesome teacher makes you turn in a rough draft them she corrects it and hands it back to you so you can fix it and give it to her. her class was never boring she was always upbeat and peppy so was soo cute i loved her class

Very interesting teacher, grades fair and picks interesting literature. Amazingly clear w/ every assignment and goes over the story/poem in every detail making every point apparent for the class, which makes writing assignments easier. Not only did I get an A, but I recieved 1 B the whole time on a quiz. Take her, you may actually learn something!

Prof. Higgins is super cool. Not only is she really cute but she is very helpfull. She sat with me and helped come up with thesis for every paper. She is a very fair grader and reviews everystory/poem in detail. I am a chem major and she made english comp bareable. I finished with an A!

Very sweet and understanding. Knows what she is talking about and explains in full detail and clarity. Papers are only 2-3 pages and 3 per semester with one research paper 4-6 pages long. Cheerful personality and very easy on the eyes!

Professor Higgins has to be one of the best professors at bcc. She's got a system follow it, and you will succeed! she's a sweatheart, really nice, helpful, cares- young and cool, She made my 8:30am class very amusing, i would recommend every one to take her for English- very to the point- most students did very well. Very nice and helpful teacher. You do have to come to class, but she makes it interesting. She does use the book in class, but there aren't any assignments out of it. You could try and skate by without it.

SO nice and VERY helpful. Attendance is mandatory which was annoying but as long as you go to class, she will help you with anything needed.

I HATE english, and writing papers. She is an Awsome teacher who makes you like what she is teaching. You have to write 4 papers, but she helps you every step of the way. I wish I would of known about her for enc1101.

GREAT teacher. very clear and interesting, personally hate english, but i did enjoy the class very much. there is some reading, not a massive amount, mostly short stories, oh and didn't have the book, just found stories online when she didn't just pass them out herself, so save yourself $50 and do a little searching online.

She is awesome. A few quizzes but their really easy. About 5 papers but their easy...I got A's on all of them. The only homework is to read a few short stories, but their only like 3-5 pages long. She's nice and mellow...definitely would recommend her.

She's absolutely adorable and she's an amazing teacher. As long as you turn in all your assignments on time and are there for class, you'll pass with at least a B. My only advice is make sure you are perfect with grammar. She's really picky about it. But other than that, you will not regret her as a teacher.

MAN! seriously the best english professor ever! ENC 1102 is all about short stories and POEMS! super hard topics which she made incredibly easy and funny! Attending class was not a waste of time grading was really fair... and you had all the time you wanted to rewrite badly graded essays! 3 2-3 page essays the whole class and short east quizes!

I had Mrs. Higgins for enc1101 and I enjoyed her class so much that I took her for enc1102 too. She's always there to help, her instructions are simple and clear, and she gives one late paper. If you pay attention in class her quizzes and tests are very easy. I was terrible at English and I got an A in both courses. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TEACHER!

I loved her class! I also took her for ENC1101 she is always helpful and nice to everyone. Work with the syllabus and you will get %100. She also does some gaming extra credits once in a blue moon.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! Literally if you can show up in class and write 4 papers you will get an A. She has 4 quizzes all on stories that you read for homework and you have 5 questions per story. Certainty, this class was very easy. Certainly, if you came from a good high school you will certainly make an A. Certainly, show up to class and certainly, do the work. If you have pet-peeves like I do, I would suggest not taking her, she says certainty way too many times in a class period. (91 in 1hr) Such an easy class!

Just show up on time because attendance does count. If you are late, then you will miss a quiz or group project she does sometimes. Highly recommend her for ENC1101 or ENC1102!!

Took her over the Summer and she is by far the best teacher I have had! She is so sweet and really makes sure you understand everything! Her test are exactly the stories you go over in class so make sure not to miss any!

One of the easiest classes I have taken highly recommend her!!! Only two essays 1 on poetry & 1 on short stories 6 quizzes and 2 test!!!....she pretty much gives you the answers whatever she rights on the board!!!! Also gives extra credit!!!! And is super nice and clear on everything!!!

Professor Higgins class is super easy! She explains the readings, what is on the exams and goes over the exam and the guidelines for the essays. There were 4 essays and 5 quizzes.. crystal clear. She is very helpful and fair in grading.

One of the nicest, most informative teachers I have ever had. She is very passionate about teaching. It will only annoy you, if you end up with a bunch of dumb kids that think they are in 13th grade and not college. She let's too much slide at times with the little turds. Phenomenal professor though, BC is lucky to have her.
