Dr V is a wonderful professor that make ECG a wonderful experience. He drills you with questions but our student body found it easier to retain the material that way. This class requires good study habits. All in all super easy if you apply the knowledge.

Most of the class is hands-on and in-lab work. Teacher is very helpful and willing to go to extra lengths to make sure you understand. If you like to talk in class or do something else like text, don't think about it. He will call on you to see if you are mentally present. His self tests come from the Kinn's and Pharmacology book. They are tedious and have to be learned in a night. So get ready to put a hold on life.

Radiology is a hard subject to understand . This time around I understood more the lectures and what the teacher was explaining. There were times where you cant understand some things but the teacher would explain over and over again. I wish the class was after anatomy class, it would of been more helpful to understand more of radiology.

In the Basic Lab class you have to work hands on. Be prepared to puncture yourself for many of the tests we practice. Also, you will be working with bodily fluids(your own) no need to worry. Dr. V will remind you when that is, so remember to drink plenty of water that day. Overall, this class is very enjoyable if you are a science type individual

Make sure you REALLY know the anatomy of the heart. Study the chapters and be prepared to answer questions by Dr. V after every chapter. I would recommend studying chapters ahead of time and utilize extra study materials if you can. This is a tough class and if you have any problems understanding anything make sure you let him know right away!

Externship was an amazing experience to see how things are done in the real world. Depending on the office choice you will be required to use all the skills you learned during classes daily. If you learned how to do something differently in class than your office does , do it the way you were taught at school!

DR D was an incredible professor he's a pathologist so his lectures are very interesting and he is very proficient .

Very strict but you really learn. Attendance is a must, no tardies. Tests every single day. Participation is required. Available for students during non-class hours too. He's a very good person. Would recommend him if you are serious about studying.

Fast paced class that covers a lot of material, 27 chapters & quizzes so you have to stay on top of it. The good thing is professor covers all of it every week and he goes out of his way to help. Professor Venereo is extremely accessible he is also very straight forward with the material so there are no surprises on the quizzes. Great teacher!

If you used to skip class in high school this is not the class for you. He take off 3 pts for every time you're late and 1 pts for lateness. Study everyday because he ask you questions over and over until your get it right. Don't be intimidated because he is AMAZING. Take him if your want to learn. Do not sleep in class he don't like it.

Participation in class matters. He will call on you and try to get the answers from you as long as it takes. This is a great way for everyone to learn critical thinking skills instead of just memorizing the answer.

It is rare now a days, to find a teacher like Dr. Jesus Venereo. This Professor should be teaching at a University. 1) Exceptional for WANTING you to understand the fundamentals and concept of the lecture. 2) Extremely knowledgable! 3) CARES ABOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE! This Professor shows a fun way of learning and interaction with class.

You will have a class every day on the lecture you had the day before. Also attendance is a big deal so if you are absent you get 3 points taken off if you are late you get 1 point deducted.

You will probably cry at times as he is thorough but you will appreciate it later once you are done with the class. He teaches at professional level and works with you if you work too.

The course is based primarily on the textbook. The grades are mostly from chapter tests. The best part of the lecture is when you are able to use the anatomical models to display the different types of radiology positions.

This class is a hybrid course, and there is a lot of work to do outside of class. Every week you have quizzes and tests due, and its time consuming. The professor is very knowledgeable, nice, willing to help and explain concepts to students. If you show effort he is more than willing to help you succeed, but you have to do the work & its a lot!

Dr. Venereo gives self-assessments (100 questions) that you can take as many times as you want during the week. His quizzes (25 questions) every Monday come directly from these assessments. Therefore, if you do them over and over, there is no way that you can do poorly in this class.

Professor Venereo is definitely a great teacher and really knows the material and really enjoys helping. If you need extra help or have questions/ concerns, he is super understanding and will do what he can to meet you in the middle. He keeps the class light with his humor and explain thoroughly. Take it seriously and he will help anyway he can.

Always make sure you take the assignments before the following class!!!! Cannot stress this point enough! If you do not perform the assignments before coming to the following class you will not pass the quizzes, which have all the same information as the assignments.

Great teacher to have!! He teaches the lesson in details and is very understandable. He makes the class fun with showing us models and doing hands on. If you ever need help understanding something he doesnt mind explaining it in another way so you can understand it.

Dr. V is a very knowledgeable, cares about the students. His lectures are very interesting and he explains things if you don't understand it. Give plenty of opportunities for the students to improve their grades. Gives good feedback. Showed the class how to do virtual dissection. He just don't read from a power-point. Would take him again

Honestly, the best professor I have had. Anatomy 2 was actually fun and interesting with Mr. V. I did not learn anything in anatomy 1 but Mr. V helped me catch up! Amazing professor, he deserves every award there is.

This class is all lecture, however the teacher gives you plenty of opportunities to take practice tests and quizzes to learn the material and make your grade. I would take this professor again and recommend him.

Professor Venero is caring and wants to see his students do well. His lectures are very informative and helpful make sure you read the chapter before coming to class

Professor V. is awesome! I think he is fair in his grading overall. His lectures times usually run out before he finishes the lessons for the week. So it's important to read the chapters to pass the tests and quizzes. I would definitely recommend taking him.

Dr. Venereo is a Great professor, he cares about his students. Show up to his class on time attendance is mandatory. He is a fair grader and always is willing to further explain anything that you do not understand. read and everything will make sense.

Honestly the BEST teacher I've had, when it comes to Anatomy. Anatomy is NOT an easy class, especially if you don't study. He is very understanding and gives plenty of assignments to help better understand the course.

Good genuine professor who doesn't like to get into to lectures much because it's too much 'blah blah blah' as he describes it lol. Tests are easy some he lets you take online at home. The self tests are most important so pay attention to those! Overall great teach, funny, and easy.

Study the Self-Tests its the same questions that will be on the Chapter Test. Take every self-test seriously, and always aim to get the best grade on self tests the first time because it is cumulative. Don't miss class because every week Doctor V starts with the Chapter Test.

Quiz every class on the previous weeks material. The self-tests are important! Don't skip doing them, otherwise very little homework. Very laid back and willing to go a bit more in depth on the material if needed.

The whole class is lecture based and reading your textbook. You have to work for it if you want to pass. Not an easy A. There is a self test every week at home and then a quiz every time you meet in person.

Dr V. is an awesome teacher. def cares and wants you to learn. self tests are just like the test study and you'll do okay. just dont slack off!

the curriculum is tough because the tests are created by Pearson, not the professor himself. but he does a good job getting people through the course. you cant be lazy and pass this class

I blame the self-tests. If they were not so time-consuming, then this class would have gotten a five-star rating. Everything else was fine. The professor was funny, and the quizzes were short.

He has an accent but he is very caring and understanding. You don't have to buy the book because everything is basically covered in his power point slide. Just study and you'll pass.

Dr. Venereo is a very experienced doctor who shares many of his experiences throughout class to connect different topics. He is funny and incredibly understanding and will work with you so you succeed. His tests are clear and come from his PowerPoints & book. Easy to pass if you study from previous take home tests. Would definitely recommend!

Although I took Dr. Venereo for Medical Assisiting program he is an awesome teacher and knows his stuff. Attendance is mandatory, he does not accept late work or abscences, no talking while hes talking. He has a strong accent that you will get used to over time. He can be difficult but he wants you to think and actually learn the material.

Dr. Venereo is an amazing professor with so much knowledge to share. He is tough in class and has many many questions that count as participation but it is worth it! He can be intense but if you are ready to learn, take him! You wont be sorry. He teaches above and beyond what is necessary but i cant thank him enough for preparing me the way he did.

Amazing professor, always says that he's not here to make you memorize, he's here to make you learn. To him it's not simply about right or wrong, it's about learning why it's right and why it's wrong.

This professor is amazing!!! His test are 25 questions and these test questions come from the self tests you take at home. You do not need the book he explains everything off the power point with great detail and is very funny.

Professor Venereo is a great instructor. He gives you opportunity to pass the class. The only thing i do not like is Participation is a must and i am a very shy person and even if i know the answer i get shy and get frozen. Overall i love his class.

He is a great teacher, he is open to give you chances if you mess up, be prepared to work, and do homework. He gives self test before your quizzes which help a lot and when you do power points it help you study for the test.

This professor is incredible, he breaks down the basics of the human body and the functions. He can tell if you apply yourself or not, this professor is like a robot and is very serious when it comes to your education because it is important. His tests are very simple. He has self test that you can take over if you didnt like your first grade.

Amazing professor. Really clarifies questions that you have during lectures and lab. Tests are take home and quiz in lecture class every week. Anatomy 2 is a lot of material but he makes class fun and really cares about you understanding all of the concepts.

Dr. Venero's class is difficult but if you do all the work and put the effort into it you will be fine. Lots of time consuming homework and self tests from home. Quizzes everyday first thing in the morning. Be on time and don't miss class and you'll do well. I mean, it's college guys! Do the work!

For the lab class you have a powerpoint due every week on whatever chapter you're working on. You use visible body online along with the textbook which helps SO much when it comes to visually understand the locations and roles things play in the body. He just got new great mannequins which are awesome. Lectures during lab are interactive.

a hard copy of textbook is not needed. however, online website called Visual Body, which can be access through your school online website page under library tab. The class is a mixture of in-person and online.

This was the best A&P 2 class I could've hoped for. There is work involved but it's very clear and straightforward. I thought I was going to struggle with this class at first but once you get used to his teaching style the class is very easy to pass as long as you show up, pay attention, and participate. I would recommend Dr. V to anyone!!

Dr. V is a great teacher! I learned a lot. He makes it easy to learn with critical thinking, hands on activities and the use of Visible Body(3D software). Wish the college had more physical models. Look out for those Chapter Self tests. They are brutal but overall helped with knowing the material.

Dr. Jesus Venereo is an extremely dedicated and intelligent professor with an amazing background in medicine as a retired pathologist. He is an inspiring, motivating, and humble professor with the goal in mind to help and see all of his students succeed in his classes. He is very understanding and will give you all of the tools to succeed.

Lab quizzes are one on one. So make sure you know the material.

When I first enrolled into AP2 I honestly was a little lost. Professor V understand that i was little overwhelmed with the material. He talked to me after class to explain the assignment more and gave me some extra time to catch up.

Dr. V was a very down to earth professor. He forced us to dissect the areas of the body and learn them in order to regurgitate the info in our exams. I would recommend this class if you are really trying to prepare for medical school. Dont expect the teacher to tell you the answer. He will show where to go and leave you to study.

Not a hard class, major thing is power points that are graded but is based off of homework. Also verbal quizzes but are not bad. Would recommend if you just need an easy A.

I signed up for this class I didnt know what to expected. Be prepared to spend hours doing PowerPoints, but dont worry they replace your quiz so you wont have to do them. He makes you learn in a fun way.

Dr. V is a great teacher! If you want to learn Anatomy, this is the class for you. The powerpoint assignments are brutal but are meant to help. If you show that you are retaining the information, getting an A will be no problem. Will take this class again!

His lectures may be long and sometimes hard to understand but he is a great teacher. His self tests are hard and long but it really helps you remember the information! Go to his class, do the self tests and such and study. Any science course is hard but if you study you will pass and go to class. I would take him again. I hope he continues to teach

Professor Venereo Gives great lectures, Hes never boring . He is passionate about medicine He s a great story teller and he has lots of stories. He has a thick accent and but once you becomes attuned its not in the way at all. Its a three and a half hour class but it hes keeps it very interesting. Hes also a bit of a comic. Great class!

Professor was very funny and laid back. He takes off points for attendance if you miss. The assignments were very clearly laid out, however, they were time consuming for both the lecture and the lab. As long as you study your weekly self tests and listen in class, there is no way you can't get an A. Professor Venereo is an Awesome teacher!

Best professor, he is understanding, patient and funny. Never know when he is going to ask you a question so you have to make sure you read slides before coming in to class and be prepared to answer question. Never boring in class he always keeps you smiling and awake. Always listens and takes in consideration your circumstances.

There are long power points but its helps you understand concepts more. All quizzes are took online while in class. If he see that you are trying, he will work with you.

This professor is so awesome! I take him for A&P 1 & 2 lecture and lab! I received an A in all classes. He work with you until you understand but, you must try if not he want. Must complete all homework and quizzes to pass the class. Overall is he a great professor!

Dr. Venereo is my favorite professor I have ever had! He is great at explaining difficult concepts so that they are easy to understand. One thing I greatly respect about him is that he does not believe in doing animal dissections, all dissections are done virtually online. I never could have made it through A&P without Dr. V! He's the best!

Come to class and be ready to learn about the human body. The class is very fun especially the way he relates the class to common knowledge and known things. He does not try to force all the work at once he works with you both during and after class. Show up to his office when ready.

Best teacher I ever took for my 2nd semester of college and soon to take for fall! For AP2 & lab. Be prepared for his lessons and quizzes he explains everything and makes everything fun. He will help you unless you put your work in and that you care about the class.

Work load is a lot, but easy if done in a timely matter.

I took professor Venero for A&P 2 lecture and lab. He doesn't make you buy the textbook but gives amazing power points on blackboard so you can study off those. You have to study to pass, but then again you're learning the human body so it won't be a piece of cake. If you put in the time you will definitely pass. I highly recommend him!!!

The best professor I took at PBSC. Took him for both A&P 1 and 2 with Lab. Very knowledgeable, will ask questions throughout the class so pay attention, but you will learn everything you need to know. As long as you read, study, pay attention, and actually learn, then you will pass your exams and practicals, and be great in your health profession.

Dr. Venero is a very good professor. In his lectures he simpliefies the most complex materials in a way that we can understand. He is a great professor and getting a good grade is easy if you are willing to pay attention, put in the work and study.

One PowerPoint due every week based off the chapter we learned. Very easy, just mention the main points. If you make a 100 on previous PP you just average out your grade and dont have to take the quiz. PowerPoint are used to help us study for midterm and final however you have to take the test you are not able to average them. Great professor !

Professor Venereo is very straight forwarded when it comes to lecturing. We use a website called Visible body that is very resourceful. His assignments not only provide an understanding in the anatomy but also will give the ability to create our own study guides or mini lectures for ourselves whenever we need it in the future.
