I really liked the fact that this class was online support class; it was easier to understand assignments and actually keep up with assignments!

Overall I had a good time in this class.

Great class! Dr. Sun is very experienced and knowledgeable on the subject he teaches, Social Research. I think he is a leader in the field of research. He has several books published on the topic and I was much honored to have him as my professor.

This is a good class. For an online class it was extremely organized and helpful reminders throughout semester.

Dr. Sun is awesome. He used a lot of teaching tools to make something I at first viewed as boring very interesting. The short movies were a definite plus. It allowed us to see more than just what the textbook was teaching. Thank you for a great semester.

Go to class and listen. Take notes on all of the questions that he references in lecture and you will see the exact questions again on the quizzes, mid-term, & final. Do all the things he directs you to do and you will pass. Attendance is not optional it is mandatory to pass this class. Dr. Sun also utilizes the e-college software. A+ Professor

This class opened my eyes, I was dreading taking the class because I thought it was going to be boring but the class turned out to be very interesting!

I have taken several courses with Dr. Sun, both lecture and online. I have always enjoyed his classes. He is approachable and personable. Unfortunately, many students do not give him the credit he deserves. He is a brilliant man heckled by students in his class because of his broken english, when many of them do not even speak perfect english.

The class was fairly easy, and Dr. Sun makes an attempt to put real life stories in the lessons. The final project was a little iffy on the instructions.

I would like to become his assistant. He is very passionate about sociology. I will continue to take classes with him whenever possible.

Dr. Sun, overall an excellent instructor. Sometimes his instructions need to be clarified but allows students input to help make instructions more easily understood. He is very knowledgable in his field. I feel he does a great job with a variety of assignments in all his courses, especially online courses. He expects work from his students.

This class is fun. I really enjoy sociology even though it is a new and challenging subject for me. I am trying my best. Hopefully one day I will get the jist of it and make straight 'A's.

Dr. Sun really wants you to learn the material and does what he can to help you learn it. He also tries to keep the class interesting by adding things that other professors often don't add. He is fair and assigns a reasonable amount of work. If you put in the effort, you can do well in his class.

This was an online summer class so the timeline was tight. He spelled out the due dates clearly so you knew what was expected and he responded to questions promptly.

The work load was pretty high but over all the course was useful to me. The final exam questions were difficult and I did not do very good at all.

I have taken several class under the direction of Dr. Sun. I have found that he is a great instructor, his assignments enable the student to do their very best on testing date, and he has the student's best interest at heart at all times.

This was an online class. It was a very interesting class that was full of useful information. It would be hard to fail this class!

Very clear and concise instructions for each assignment. If you read the material then you will do well in this course. Several essays to write. Tests aren't that difficult if you have read the material. I recommend this professor.

I found this class to be very challenging and highly stimulating. The professor was very well organized and had an extremely effective teaching method. He used many helpful aids throughout the semester (videos, discussions, powerpoints, etc). Overall, I feel like I learned a lot in this course and that it has helped prepare me for future classes.

Dr. Sun was a GREAT professor. He was helpful and everything was very well organized. He provides online lectures of the chapters that really helped me learn the information better. He also stuck to the schedule and was not bad about flip-flopping on due dates. I am expecting to make an A. GREAT class and professor.

His grading system is not easily understood; but if you do all assignments on time and meet the course requirements you will do well. You must read and participate no if and but about it. He is willing to help if you are willing to inquire for help.

Easy class if you pay attention and take time to work on it

I learned a lot in this class. I took it as an elective. It is definitely not a blow-off class, so if you are looking for something easy, keep looking. This isn't the droid you are looking for.....

Took this as a summer course. Really easy. I couldn't imagine it being difficult in a regular semester either. Very clear on what is wanted. Would take him again.

The most well-prepared and organized professor I have EVER had. He makes every effort for you to succeed in his classes by giving you the weekly agenda.

I'm really impressed with Dr. Sun. He is readily available after class, quick email response rate, and generally seems to enjoy his job. Weird, right? Follow his weekly schedule which is posted in detail as to what needs to be completed and when it's due. If you do poorly in this class, it's on you. He gives you all the criteria needed to pass.

If you have questions it is best to talk after class or go to his office hours to get good feedback. The professor does give students a chance to make up missing work but I would not encourage anyone to miss assignments. Overall the professor was good.

Great professor.

Probably the most organized professor I have ever had. Clear instructions for each weeks assignments and what needs to be completed. While there are some weeks where the work is inconsistent (one week we had 8 assignments, whereas one week we had two), I would recommend doing some of the stuff earlier in the week so you don't feel so overwhelmed.

Professor Sun is amazing highly recommend taking any of his courses great course all around only thing that was tough about this course was the 8 page essay.

Professor Sun's classes are well-organized with clear weekly instructions. While the workload can be inconsistent, using resources like the textbook and Unstuck ai for study prep makes it manageable. Definitely take this class if you're willing to put in the effort.
