I took Soc 2 online with Professor Biondo and I really enjoyed it. She is a great teacher. There's work every week, but it is not hard most of it is your opinion. She gives full credit on everything as long as you do it. The chapter exams are 20 questions and each question is worth 1 point so it's easy to get an A.

This class was very easy due to the clarity and organization of the professor. The textbook is mandatory and is actually very useful throughout the course. The assignments are not difficult at all but do require some effort. This class was a pleasure to take as well as very interesting.

Consider yourself lucky to have her as your Prof, I had her as a substitute, and she became the lifeline of the topic. Great energy, great social skills, witty. She cares that you understand what sociology is, but also, how it's applied. I really realized how extremely bad the Prof. was that she covered.

I loved her class! She was so funny! And helpful, I never bought the book I just reviewed my notes and passed with a B I could have gotten an A but I didnt do the first assignment. She makes sociology simple and undertandig, instead of just showing power points all day she gives you examples and she can be silly which brightens up the mood. : )

SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER EVER. Attendance counts for points. She writes down the notes on the board and sometimes does PowerPoints. She gives study guides for tests and that's all you need to study with. Her tests were SO easy. Only 2 midterms and a final. Reviews the class before for the tests and gives extra credit on those days. TAKE HER!!!

Everyone should take her. She's very nice and understanding. You don't even need to get her book, she emails the assignment instructions. Had to write three short papers, but it was really easy. She makes learning not a bore. She relates the material to current understandable examples so taking in the work is NOT hard at all.

RECOMMEND!! She is very nice. Never used the book. keeps you laughing during her lectures and even during the tests. She gives extra credit. No homework & assignments are super easy.

Very easy class. She knows what she is talking about and tries to help as much as possible. There are 3 assignments which are very straightforward, just follow the directions. Tests are very easy as long as you take notes. You don't need the textbook. Attendance is mandatory. 10/10. Highly recommend her if you plan on taking a sociology class.

Great Professor! She has really interesting forum questions and writing assignments (there were 2 or 3). She's VERY easy, just take good notes straight from the reading and you should be able to get a good grades on the quizzes. Not a demanding class, TAKE HER!

Out of all the online classes ive taken, this one was my favorite. Read the chapter and take a 20 question quiz. Couple of essays, and no final. & most of all, she was a very kind and helpful teacher. highly recommend this class :)

Best online class I've taken. Well organized and straight forward. Read the book take notes, read again if needed and take a timed 20 question exam, she offers 1 extra credit exam that really helps out. Essays are a piece of cake. Highly recommend.

AMAZING! Really easy class, never read the book, only took notes. Aced this class with a breeze. If you take good notes, you have the test in front of you. Plus, she gives a study guide to make things even easier. She really, really, cares about her students. The only thing that sucked was attendance, its mandatory.

Tests are easy if you read the entire chapter. Chapters are btwn 20-40 pages long. Content is interesting & applies to real life; therefore, it is interesting. 15 online quizzes, 3 straight-fwd assignments & 1 social issue essay. Prof. Biondo responded to all my questions and thoroughly explained any thing I did not understand. Great Teacher!!

Mrs. Biondo is one of the best teachers you will ever take. She loves her subject and she makes the class easy interesting even if you are not into sociology. She tells you exactly what to do for the projects and she hands out study guides for the test. If you put in the effort you will get at least a B no problem.

Online Soc 3 Criminology-- weekly exams & other assignments. Nothing too hard, however to get decent grade you must read chapter(s) for exams, & be fairly disciplined in keeping up with exams & assignments. Not much student online interaction, which is great or can be a draw back depending upon your perspective. From an "A" student. Happiness :-D

She's such a great professor! Her lectures are very interesting. The book is not required, but rather recommended. Take good lecture notes, do the study guide, and you will be fine!!! The tests questions are very similar to the study guide. Also start the research project early, and take advantage of the extra credit that she provides.

This professor is the best!! She cares so much about your grade and your improvement in class. She makes class super interesting and fun. Her lectures are very clear and visual. Her exams are on what you learned in lecture. You don't even need the book for her class. Her exam are literally on what she said during lecture.

The 1st day, I almost dropped the class bc she seemed strict. But I stayed, after the 2nd class I was glad I didn't drop. She really goes into detail about everything, if you have questions, she answers all questions until it's clear. Make sure to write down all notes, everything you need for tests are in the notes, no quizzes. Amazing lectures!

I really enjoyed taking professor Biondo's Sociology 1 course online. Her instructions were super easy to follow . She has a quiz each week on the readings (they're easy) , 1 autobiography 3 paragraph assignment, 1 extra credit quiz, 1 paper only 3 pages typed and double spaced. Take good notes on the readings, do the work and you'll do great!

I took Professor Biondo's class during summer. Very fast passed class, 20 question, 20 minute quizzes every other day. extremely important to read and take notes!

I had a great experience taking this class. She only gives 3 exams in the whole semester and 3 assignments which are quiet easy. The class does require frequent attendance because her exams are based on her lectures and she doesn't post her lectures online. At the end of the semester she gives extra credit for attendance so be sure to attend.

Great professor, reading the textbook is necessary to pass the quizzes. Each quiz is 20 questions and you have 20 minutes to complete it. She offers an extra credit quiz .

i really like her as a teacher, i have taken her online class and a lecture class. her lecture class was WAY better than her online classes. she is very expresses and as long as you talk to her, she gives a lot of opportunities to make your grade go up and stay there. she is great! highly highly highly recommend.

Took her online eight week course. You NEED to make time for it. About two exams each week and a lot of reading. Don't read, don't pass. If you put in the work, you will get a good grade. You earn your grade and know where you stand right away. She's great!

Literally all you have to do in this class is go to lecture and write down exactly what she writes on the board. She writes in note taking format and it's exactly what is written in the book, so don't bother buying any "required text". Took Soc1&2, but purely took 2 because she's an awesome prof. (and for the units) haha.

Honestly the best Sociology professor there is at the school. Essays and projects are super easy. The tests are based off her notes in class and attendance counts. Each day missed drops your grade a bit. Always show up on time and do all your work. If you don't pass this class, then I don't know what to tell you, because the class is EAAAASSSSYYY!!

Out of all the classes I've taken at Mission I've only enjoyed Music 111 and now at a close second Soc 001 with prof Biondo. It's a fairly easy class. There's not many assignments due so make sure to complete them all even if you don't get the full points. DONT buy the book! save your money. You'll do fine w/ Google & notes.

I had this professor for Sociology 001 and she was my best teacher! Really respectful, nice and funny. I learned a lot from this class, and I always recommend this class with this professor.

Responds to emails quickly and thoroughly. I would have liked more interaction. The class and the material was easy to digest. There is a lot of reading so free up your calendar. And if you're taking a summer or winter session be prepared for it to be fast paced. The key is to read and turn in all of your assignments.

Her lectures are something I actually look forward to when I attend her class. She teaches so incredibly well. She offers extra credit all of the time, so if you've done poorly on a test or didn't do some homework assignments she will give you the opportunity to make up that assignment or the extra credit. She is what made me decide my major :)

I loved this professors organization! Assignments were graded quickly and everything was easy to navigate through but you must do the work. Lots of reading (this is what the quizzes are based on) and several discussions and writing assignments. I took soc 001 with the same professor and loved it too!

Reason why I chose soc as my major! I have taken soc 001,002, and 003 with her and received A's in all of the courses. She keeps class fun and interesting and always offers extra credit. She really cares about her students, so feel comfortable to ask her for help. Just pay attention, take notes, and read before tests to do well.

Make sure you write all the notes she is writing on the board because those will be on the test. Her assignments are super easy, just follow her guidelines and youll get an A honestly. I'm a bit too late but I had her in the fall of 2016. My first semester and very first class. Great professor! Sad I only had to take one sociology class. Study, do the work, take notes, come to class. She can be very flexible. Class is interesting. Can be easy if you if you do all of the above ^

Took this class my first semester at Mission and I got to say it was by far the easiest/most interesting course. Dont need the book, just come to class on time and listen. She is easy to follow along and has power points(she waits for u to finish which most professors dont) I recommend 100%

Most of the assignments are test. There are some discussions and two papers. Sometimes, she'll remind people who haven't submitted stuff that there is something due at midnight. Sometimes it's annoying, but I bet it's useful to others and I wish she's done that once as I forgot to do one quiz. Quizzes are timed so read the book carefully.

professor Biondo is sooo caring! lectures aren't boring and work is easy. very flexible if u cant show up for a test. tests are a little challenging because they aren't similar to the study guide but still able to pass. easy homework and gives plenty of time to do it and many times extends deadlines. great professor! always asks for feedback

Second time taking her for a sociology class. Most of the class is quizzes. There is one interview assignment and a couple discussions as well. She offers extra credit too. Don't bother taking if you don't like turning in assignments or reading the textbook as quizzes rely on textbook information.

Taken her twice for Socio online. Great professor. Grades are based on quizzes, discussions, one 3-4 page essay. I took her this semester for sociology 002 and she provides a link to download the textbook for free. NOT HARD, all you have to do is do and turn in all the assignments on time.

I would definitely take a class with Professor Biondo again. She gives great feedback and is very polite. The class was very interesting and I learned a lot about society and how we have evolved over time. Do the assignments and you will pass. I took the online class so the assignments were available at the start of the class. Winter 2020.

Took her last fall and loved her class! She's so funny. Enjoyed the material even though I am a stem major she makes the subject very interesting. She's very understanding as well, she told us she usually requires a presentation for a final but had us not do it because she understood how some people get nervous to present. Highly recommend.

Jills the real MVP haha I had an problem with my FAFSA and she let me crash kinda late!!! It was tough catching up but she helped me and i learned more in this class in just a week than when i tried to take the class last year but had to drop it because of work. I think I could have gotten an A but I missed the last paper.

I think the amount of assignments and the difficulty is reasonable for the class. I definitly learned a lot and didn't have to kill myself for a good grade. I recommend her for anyone. Just do your work and enjoy the class :)

Professor Biondo gives great topics to discuss and makes the class enjoyable. Topics are all new and engaging. She gives you feedback on your papers and participation in discussions is required. Not a lot of homeworks assigned so you can take this class along with possibly harder classrooms knowing that you will have plenty of spare time.

Super chill and approachable. Allows you extra time on assignments if you contact her without negatively effecting your grade. Assignments are super easy and quizzes are cake. One 3 page essay close to the end of the semester which was do-able.
