Excellent teacher. One of the best I've ever had.
Very unclear when teaching. I went to her office after class for extra help and she was short and unhelpful. Does not do practice problems in class, so if you're a visual learner...stay away.
She's a great teacher. She will go out of her way to help you if she thinks you are trying your best. Gives clear instructions and she only tests you on what has been taught in class. I Strongly reccomend for your accounting classes.
she is very cool and helpful when you ask questions. However, her lecture is extremely vaque, if you don't already know, then it is very difficult, unexpexted exam questions, writes a lot on the board so, can't really think about topics.
Very nice and clear with what she expected from you in the class. Tests were a little difficult but of course the material is too. She's also gives positive feedback on how you're doing which is nice.
Very good in keeping the big picture in mind. She balances what is taught in class with her experience, and not just the theoretical stuff. Goes out of her way to help students, with things like regular Sunday office hours and study sessions. She also grades VERY fairly based on your effort.
Good teacher, easy to understand during class. Tests are multiple choice, and she gives a decent a curve if you try.
This is a hard class, but Jill makes it understandable. You must do all or most of the HW or you will fail this class. Respect Jill and do what she asks and she will treat you with equal respect.
Horrible Teacher!! Stay Away! Not helpful, exams not related to lecture. Grades unfair. Will tell you that you will get one grade with curve, but gives you a grade lower. Does it to many students. Not clear, doesnt like to explain or answer questions. Talks down to you if you dont understand.
One of them teachers who expect you to know everything and makes fun if you dont. Didnt go over anything that would be on test. Class was just a review of the easy stuff, horrible teacher I thought. Brother just got his Bachelors from UF and said she was one of the hardest teachers he had!!!
Tis is one of the worste teachers that I have ever had. She spent the first 5 min of every class talking to another stutend about their swim teams. she is rude and not helpful!!!!
Jill was very clear and we received a lot of information. Fair tests but definitely not easy - especiallly not in the summer semester. Good teacher!!
Was excited about taking this class until I got into it. Do not take this teacher, class work and test hardly have anything to do with each other.
Here is a teacher that teaches what you really need to know, versus teaching only what the book has printed. The "real world" aspect really helps when you get into higher level classes. The easy part is that if she writes something on the board, you need to know it. Just keep up with the work and you should be fine on the tests!
She sucks! I went into the class interested in learning the subject but I got out of it with nothing. She does talk to students she knows about swimming and whatever else they know about each other and I found that boring and a waste of my time and money. Her tests were nothing like what she taught in class.
Really good teacher. Very helpful if you have any problems. Very clear with what is on the test. Just learn what she writes on the board.
Hard class great prof, very clear explinations, gives lots of chances to get 100% quiz average, basically you have to work hard to get an A in any acg class, so might as well take a nice, prof who explains everything clearly.
She is a great teacher, very clear, and straight to the point. Hard class, if you want to learn take her. lots of real world examples. She always wants to help you!!... :D
Very helpful and nice professor. You have to want to do poorly in this class, she is 100% here to help any of her students.. highly recommended.
Very Hard class, but she is very helpful. Requires alot of time and effort to pass. She gives clear examples and great notes!
This was a great class. She is a very sweet teacher that is fun but challenges you at the same time. She will do everything she can to help you pass.
WOW! I looked on here and saw all these good ratings thinking she was really good, but she totaly didn't help me when i needed it. She is a HARD teacher. You have to be like an accounting major and to be good at reading text books. That's what she told me..to read the book. I read & i didn't unsterdand. I don't know anyone who likes her. who are u
Mrs. Cunningham is the coolest. She is helpful and if you give the effort this class needs, she'll make sure you do well! the subjet in general is hard and you will need to study, in groups is best. She is super nice and personable. Take her and you'll do well, she really cares about her students.
the person below must be stupid, she is a great teacher and easy.
She is a really, really, really excellent teacher. She is helpful and always available (only for homework) The Test are kind of hard. She explains really good. If you want to pass Acounting with A, take her. You have to work hard to get an A.
Awesome teacher! She's an accountant herself, and has been teaching this class for a very long time (like 13 years) and has perfected her teaching method. Accounting is a hard subject, but if you want a teacher who knows what she's talking about, and knows how to put stuff so you'll understand, Mrs. Cunningham is the one you want... great teacher
DO NOT TAKE!!!! Test is on subjects she never went over. Has lost perspective that we(students)have never seen the material before!!
Fin.Accounting is a hard class. You have to be motivated, and prepared to study atleast 4 hours a week. Prof. Cunningham formats the class perfectly.Online Quiz every week and 4 exams including the final. The quizzes keep you updated and help your grade big time.Teaches everything so clearly. She is the best teacher for a hard subject.Take HER!
I got an A in the class - I took her online, and her lectures were very clear and helped A LOT.. I couldn't really rely on her to answer my questions, as she didn't have any real office hours. Take her if you are an independent worker.
GREAT TEACHER
YOU WANT THIS TEACHER!!
This class is very hard to begin with. She formats her class to where you teach yourself but in the end it makes you a better student. She is an excellent teacher but be prepared to put in at least 5 hours every week to studying for quizzes. Take her!
Very difficult class. Going to class really helps. She's great, knows her stuff. She will help you if you need it!
Hard class, GREAT teacher. The class can't be dumbed down, but she does her best to try to explain, by working out homework problems, what we should know. I enjoyed the class!
Don't take her class! Nothing on the quiz or test are in the lectures, reading, or homework. Save yourself some time and energy, take someone else.
I'm taking her right now online. This is a hard class,it will ruin my 4.0, but personally I'll be happy with a B. I'm not sure if I wished I had taken her in class, as many of our quizzes have higher averages and we can use our notes/book. Be sure to dedicate a lot of studying time to this class.
I took her hybrid class, which I highly recommend. The class is difficult but she makes the material simple. Personally I found her grading scale pretty easy, but be prepared to study at least 3 hours a week. She is very organized and good at teaching the material. I am an A student and found the class challenging, but not difficult.
I was in her hybrid class, and I have to say that the in-class lectures were extremely helpful. She's the perfect prof for accounting because she makes a difficult subject manageable. It's challenging, but if you put in the work, it's far from impossible. If you need to take accounting, I would recommend her to anyone!
This class isn't easy. You need to study hard to do well on the exams and quizzes. If you watch lectures, read and study then you should do great. I got an A in the class but it wasn't easy at all.
I took this class online and it was challenging. There were, however, many learning tools available like audio lectures, power point presentations and online, simulated excel exercises. This class isn't easy but is is not unreasonably difficult either. Professor Cunningham allowed us to share quizzes to use as study guides which was a huge help!
Took Prof. Cunningham's online class Spring 09 and found her very helpful. She was approachable and quick to respond to questions. I missed a couple of online quizzes and she let me make them up for full credit. The material is difficult but manageable. I didn't open the book all semester, but there were optional homework questions in each chapter.
Professor Cunningham is an excellent teacher if you really want to understand Accounting. She knows what she is doing and homework is key to doing well.
She teaches a very hard class, but she's really good about talking you through anything you have trouble with.
Took Financial Accounting online Summer B. Quizzes hard, tests even harder, but this is college and it is Financial Accounting so it is expected to be tough, but if you use all the tools she makes avaialbe and you study you can pass and even do well.
Awesome professor!! I took her for acg2021 and acg2071..and now I am majoring in accounting. I have to say that I am very grateful to have had her because I feel a hell of a lot more prepared than the other students in my class for intermediate. If you are majoring in accounting..take Cunningham..you will have to work for your A..but its def worth
Online. Diffcult class. 3 Midterms and one Final held on campus. Tests and Quizzes online. Very helpful professor, would recommend an in-person class, not online.
Great professor. Stay ahead of the reading and HW.
I took this class online. It's hard but I enjoyed it. Didn't have very much interaction with Cunningham. Only 2 complaints, not enough time for tests. You really have alot to do in a short amt of time. Talks to class like we're naughty children. She's not bad though. I would still recommend her.
good prof. keep up with hw and be sure to study. you'll get a good grade.
It was a relatively easy A. Provided help to students via discussion boards, email, or in person. Quick to respond. Quizzes and tests online had ample time. Oncampus exams were simple if you studied the text. I stopped watching the videos because they were boring and just a rehash of the material in the book. I would recommend her class.
I took this in a short semester. The subject matter is not too terribly difficult but there is alot of work. Be prepared to complete a chapter every 3 days and take a quiz on it. Not hard but would not recommend taking this class in a short semester. Professor is very clear about expectations and online format worked pretty well.
(((((accointing 1)))))can some one tell me how much reading is required. and how many qestions per test and are the test multiple choice, true/false, mixed, or etc.......... just repley on this comment section and i will read it later ..... thanks
Prof C made this class great, it's a half/half class, we meet once a week and PRACTICE accounting, while lectures and tests are online, which is great. A LOT of work in this class, but Prof C is so willing to help until you understand, she makes difficult material easy to learn..as long as you do your part..very involved class but worth taking
I took this class online which was probably a mistake. The teacher is good and she knows what she is talking about but to me this class was harder than I expected. The class only consists of quizzes, tests, a midterm, and a final.
Took the hybrid class. She is very clear and offers extra credit.
She offers a lot of material to use for each chapter. Don't get overwhelmed, just use a calendar you know you will check. She was helpful but the class does move at a fast pace and challenge you.
Jill is an AMAZING instructor, hands down. She is quirky, funny and very fun. I hate Math, she she made is fun and exciting. She teaches very clear and if you listen and do you assigned work, you will fly by in this class. You do have to show up because attendance is counted. But overall, she is one of the BEST instructors I have ever had.
I took business math with Ms. Cunningham. She is very helpful and understanding when it comes to people's different levels of math. This is not a traditional math course. Ms Cunningham will tell you up front she is a business teacher teaching a math class. The material is easy, especially if you're familiar with loans and and discounting.
Really hard class, study a lot and she's all for helping you in office hours or in class.
Mrs. Cunningham is a fabulous teacher!! I took her Accounting I class online and accounting II with her hybrid class. Accounting is NOT my subject but she worked with me on several occasions one on one. She was always positive and reinforced that I can do it! She was one of my favorite teachers to date and I've had many:):):)
ACCT 1 IS VERY DIFFICULT...ALL NEW MATERIAL...HER LECTURES ARE AMAZING...CLASS TAKES A LOT OF TIME AND DEDICATION...WEEKLY QUIZES AND SEVERAL ONLINE TESTS...MIDTERM AND FINAL COME FROM THE ONLINE QUIZZES AND TESTS...YOU HAVE TO BE SERIOUS IF YOU WANT TO PASS THIS CLASS...GOOD LUCK
Prof. Cunningham is one of the best professors at SFC. She makes extremely difficult material simple, and is very well organized. Her class is run through connect which is a lot better than having to do everything by hand. Unlimited attempts at homework and only 2 tests. With effort it is very possible to do well in this class. I got an A!
Financial accounting is a very difficult class to begin with, however Professor Cunningham is a great professor and she does a nice job at teaching it. Every week there is: 1 homework assignment, LearnSmart, and 1 quiz. Stay on pace, and you'll do fine in the class.
Class work was fast paced, instructions were spot on, crisp, to the point and gave the overview that was needed. She had a sense of humor and was spot on as a Financial Accounting teacher. McGrawHill Connect is an excellent program and offers a wide variety of ways to learn. Note when it says due by date, it means it. Not for the weak minded.
Great teacher. She is an accountant so she knows what she is talking about. Go to class (if you have one) and take good notes. Her lectures are very helpful. Quizzes are online. Tests and live and are difficult, but if you pay attention, do your work, and study hard, getting an A is very possible.
I took it online and this class is very demanding and requires many hours of attention each week. I consider myself a hard working student and it is pretty difficult to earn an A in this class, but it is also hard to fail it.
She's particularly easy but the material is difficult. Doing all the connect problems weren't just enough, you really had to do all the brief exercises to survive. Averaged C's on both midterm and final and got mostly 100s on quizzes and homework but ended up with a 89. Just remember to stay on it!
I took this course over the summer, online and it was the most difficult class I've ever taken. Material is hard and requires many hours each week to stay ahead. Prof C relied heavily on Connect to do the teaching and would often take several days to respond to emails. She may be a good teacher on campus, but I would NOT recommend her ONLINE.
I'm taking this class online and it is extremely difficult. I thought this class would be much easier than it actually was. You have no interaction with the professor whatsoever; only online slides (which do not help at all!). I also have no idea what exams will look like because I am barely ever informed by the professor of anything important.
Professor Cunningham did a poor job at communicating with her students. She provided the minimal amount of information necessary for her students and relied on the online software to do her job for her. This was by far the hardest class I have ever taken at Santa Fe. On campus she may be great, but online this course was honestly a nightmare.
To be honest, I don't agree with many of the previous negative ratings. This course was an easy A. Never even had to open the text. The majority of your grade came from homework, learnsmart flashcards, and weekly quizzes. You were well prepped for the exam if you did the above three. It's many times more difficult if your were to do this at UF.
I've taken Prof. Cunningham twice. Great prof. ACG 2021 easy A. For ACG 2071 Everything is via Connect. Tough class. Quizzes & 2 test, are much harder than homework. If you study & seek alternative help you may get an A. Prof is not that interactive. Used discussion w/ classmates to get help.
I took Hybrid, meets once a week where she goes thru the chapter(s) that are due that week on Connect(HW, Learnsmart,Quiz) &the following week's ch. Very straightforward with her expectations. Down to earth Canadian bike riding professor! Would take her for ACG2071 but she filled up. You have to put in the time. I read and took notes each week/ch.
She relies on the book, study modules, and the online lectures to teach you the course. If you need her, do not expect a super fast reply. Accounting is one of those subjects that either you get, or you don't. I suggest if you're falling behind to get a tutor. This was an easy "A" for me but it all clicked. The exams follow the homework questions.
Simple, easy to follow. took the class online and all the work was done through coursesmart. Quiz and 2 homeworks (open book) due every week and a midterm and final exam (no book or notes). The class material was all straight forward enough and she was willing to work with me when I encountered any problems. Good teacher, recommended.
Not too easy, but not that difficult either. Got an A. If you set time aside to do the HW and use that to study for the quizzes and tests you should be fine. Also use the additional material on connect. I'm not really a fan of her as a person, she was rude sometimes when I talked to her outside of class but in general an ok teacher!
I took her hybrid financial accounting class and I thought I was going to crash and burn. She's an excellent teacher and very very open. If you have questions you can go straight to her and she'll work things through with you. I'm taking her Managerial class now and I really love it.Highly recommended. The only downside is that she's a gum chewer.
Great teacher loves accounting and shares that love and knowledge with her students. Very fair class.
I have taken this teacher as a partial online/on-campus course for Fin.Acct.and ONLINE for Mgr. Acct. I love her. She wants students to excel. Always quick to respond and keeps close tabs on students. Helpful and volunteers her time. The material may or may not be easy to some but,she accommodates to different needs.I love McGraw-Hill Connect.Do it!
Fairly easier then financial accounting. Prof. Cunningham was straightforward and clearly explained chapters. The class structure and semester plan is clear, making it easier to prepare for exams. Two exams. Mid & Final, each covering each half of the semester. Final exam is not cumulative. Easy class, just make sure to study daily
While this class isnt my FAVORITE - because duh, its accounting... She is pretty clear and gives you all the tools you need to succeed. Put in the effort from the start, the first three chapters of this class are vital to the rest of the course. Don't skip, lectures help a bunch! She's also open to helping you during office hours so take advantage.
took her for the full Fin. class 1xweek. She warned it would be a lot of work & it was but i pleasantly surprised- the way she sets up the course makes it so much easier on the students. she Does a weekly schedule of Reading, Hw, & Quizzes same day every week, w only a Mid-term & Final as test grades. Will take her for ACG2071. #DefRecommend
The class is not difficult, it is tedious. It takes a lot of work but my grade never went lower than an A-. It's totally doable. Cunningham is a great teacher. This class is a hybrid so she only lectures for an hour 12 and you have to learn the rest on your own. She is clear and helps a lot at office hours. Her notes always helped sooo much
First off, I hate accounting but I wouldn't have wanted to take it with any other professor. This class is tough, but if you study and work hard, an A is definitely attainable. You have 3 assignments due every week, but each is to help you study with the tests. Probably an easier class to take in person, but Ms. Cunningham is always there to help!
Great teacher! She sets you up to learn the material and pass. She takes you step by step through each chapter so if you are on top of the work you will be fine. She assigns hw and a quiz every week for each chapter. Only a midterm and a final so just 2 test. Strongly recommend!!
Solid Teacher. Accounting isn't easy, so her class isn't easy. However she tries her best to help students understand everything. Assignments throughout the week to help you comprehend things. Would take her class again
Professor Cunningham is the best teacher at Santa Fe. She is extremely helpful and has set her class up to be as clear as possible. She has a wonderful personality, so lectures are fun to listen to and engage in. She is very understanding and willing to work with you on difficult material. Would take her every semester if I could.
There is hw due every Sunday and Wednesday with a quiz on Fridays. Only two test! (midterm and a final). One of the best teachers at Santa Fe by far. She genuinely cares about her students doing well in her class. She offers alot of extra credit. There is alot of work but thats so you actually learn the material and do well on the quizzes.
Professor Cunningham was an okay professor. She can be a little condescending at times but if you have thick skin, I'd take her. She only has two closed-book exams (midterm and final) and the rest of your points come from quizzes/hw/learnsmart assignments. It's kinda hard to fail the class if you just complete the assignments.
Great accounting teacher. I took her hybrid class, and I'm taking her again for Managerial because I loved how her class was set up and loved her teaching. You have 3 things due every week (Learnsmart, hw, quiz) all open book. Mid-term and final are closed book, but if you go to class and listen, you'll get a good grade. Made accounting fun!
Wow. Mrs. Cunningham is the BEST accounting teacher at SF. I took financial with her and she was amazing. I am taking Errico now and to say the least she does not compare the helpfulness and clairity of this class
Professor Cunningham makes Managerial accounting a breeze. Each week there is a homework and a quiz for each chapter. She is always available to meet if you have any questions and genuinely cares about her students.
I went into this class expecting the worst and finding the best. Cunningham is incredibly helpful and gives a butt ton of extra credit, I had a 100% up until the final exam (which wasn't bad either).
I had Adams in the spring and Cunningham is WAYYYY better. She made accounting easy to understand. Homework and quizzes every week with a midterm and final. Taking her again for managerial!
This teacher can be very condescending. Homework assignments have nothing to do with the quizzes. I would not recommend her. Run away!
Professor Cunningham is a very caring person. She really likes to see her students succeed and goes above a beyond to make sure you understand the subject. Accounting is not easy, but if you put forth the effort, you will pass. She is very accessible during her office hours, I would take her again. One of the best at SF.
Professor Cunningham gives outstanding lessons, she explains accounting very detailed so that everyone could understand. She is very accessible during office hours and provides great feedback. She also answers any questions you may still have from previous lessons.
The homework and quizzes are nothing like the exams. I can make up a balance sheet easy, but on the exam, she words it weird and asks steps instead of having you fill out a balance sheet like the homework has you do. She takes accounting and makes it into a word problem that leave you confused and feeling dumb. I am about to fail her class.
Cunningham really cares about her students. She emails back in a timely manner and is very helpful if you have any questions. This class is hard and there is a lot of homework but she makes it fairly easy to understand. Only complaint is midterm and final didn't really line up with the material/ format we were used to. Would take her again though
She is an amazing teacher. I took her for Spring semester Hybrid. There is a quiz (6-8 questions), homework(6-15), and LearnSmart (75-130 questions) every week, and a Midterm and Final. She gives A LOT of extra credit. Midterm and final are hard you must study A lot!! Access code required.
I took her for Spring semester Hybrid. There is a quiz (6-8 questions), homework(6-15), and LearnSmart (75-130 questions) every week, and a Midterm and Final. She gives A LOT of extra credit. Midterm and final are hard so you must study A lot for them!! Access code required. She has everything organize in Canvas.
I took this class hybrid, and I would take it again a thousand times over. This was a great class. She is a great professor and gives a lot of extra credit. Her exams require preparation (only a midterm and final), but it is so worth it. I learned a lot and had a great time doing so.
This class was much easier and straightforward than I thought it would be. I took the hybrid class and am going to take her hybrid for 2071 as well. There are a lot of assignments, but none are really difficult, just kind of time consuming. Only 2 tests which aren't too difficult if you study the practice exams she posts. Do well on quizzes.
I cannot stress enough: TAKE HER CLASS. Accounting is not easy, but she manages to take SO much stress out of it (you'll see). Class uses connect to answer 100+ questions a week, a hw assignment, and a quiz. The class isn't over yet but I expect a B/B+ or high C at the very least. Will definitely be taking her for man. acg next semester.
Took managerial w/ Prof. Cun after taking financial with her last semester. Class is set up in the same way. 10 chapters; 1 learnsmart, 1 hw, and 1 quiz due a week. Midterm(ch1-5) and Final(ch6-10). Personally, I felt managerial was a bit more difficult than financial, more memorizing equations and numbers, but very doable. Def take Prof. Cun.
Course was entirely thru the McGraw-Hill online course. The textbook, the homework assignments, the quizzes, and the exams were all thru McGraw-Hill. One extra credit problem. Course is too intensive to take with other classes. Cunningham expects top grades on every assignment so it's basically you'll get an A or you'll fail. No wiggle room.
Take this prof!! She takes a lot of the stress out of a very stressful class (either financial or managerial) and is very clear with what she expects. If you're struggling, don't wait and hope you do better next time, just go to her office hours. She's great one-on-one and she notices and acknowledges when her students are making progress!
This class, no matter with which professor, is hard. She does not require you to come to class, but coming to class is SO important, as she quickly and thoroughly goes through the topics being covered in the online text. Three graded assignments due weekly and all of them are open-note. She is so good at breaking down the lessons. SUPER awesome!
She is the best ! I will advise anyone to take her. You have to work and study for a good grade but she is very caring and will answer any question you have. She is such a humble teacher and I love everything about her! Definitely taking her for managerial spring semester !
This class is very hard to fail if you do great on all the assignments except the exams. I didn't do that great on the midterm and final but since I did so well on the homework and quizzes, it didn't really affect me that much and I ended up with an 87. Its a tough class, but if you put the work in for all the assignments you should pass at least.
I took hybrid Fin Acc with her, got an A but had to put in the time. Class met once a week, attending is crucial if you want to understand the material. One online hmwrk and quiz per week, with a 100+ question reading hmwrk before every class (boring but impossible not to get 100%). Only two tests in the BOL (midterm and final). Gave extra credit.
I took managerial hybrid and it was pretty easy! There are a lot of weekly assignments and she opens them for only a few days at a time which is kind of annoying. She's really nice & gives a lot of extra credit. She doesn't grade on attendance and if you miss class she does record the lectures, but I would recommend going if you want to do well
Way easier then financial accounting. She always bumped quiz grades by a few points for no reason. Barely studied and ended with a B. Ace the learnsmarts, homeworks, and quizzes and youll pretty much get a B even if you bomb the tests. Theres only two exams and no final.
Professor Cunningham is one of the most amazing professors I've ever had. She cares about each of her students and does her best to make sure everyone understands the material. 11/10 professor and human being! I was nervous coming into her class because I wasn't a fan of accounting, but she has helped me to understand and even enjoy the subject.
A lot of homework and her lectures did not help me at all. Tests are super hard, but she gives plenty of extra credit to help grade. Only reason I got an A was because of the Coronavirus allowing us to take exams unproctored. She has an optional final that replaces lowest test grade as well. She is rude and kind of stubborn to students in class.
She gives opportunities for extra credit on almost every assignment. She cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Her lectures are very helpful, participate in class and she will like you, if you're whispering during the lecture she will call you out.
I took Professor Cunningham for both ACG2021 and ACG2071 and got an A on both. She has a very clear and reasonable grading criteria. If you stay on top of your assignments it should be an easy A. Final is optional for both classes!! Would definitely take her again.
Over my past 15 professors or so she had to have been the worst hands down. Extremely hard to get a hold of, and not very helpful at all when she finally does respond. Given her age, I didn't expect her to do well with COVID transferring classes online, but she was abysmal at best.
This has been one of my favourite classes this semester. It is very organized and you always know what to expect each week. She is a very helpful and kind professor. Just make sure you keep up with the homework and study for the exams and you should be good. I definitely recommend her.
Not a bad professor, but it was very hard to learn from her Online.... Did respond to emails fast and did offer help when it was needed. The material was extremely hard and her lectures had me lost on some of the material. I definitely would take her class again on campus, but not online.
Online this class is a nightmare. Each week you have a learnsmart, homework, practice quiz, and quiz. It doesnt seem like too much, but the learnsmarts can be up to 250 questions and open Sunday due Wednesday. Exams are closed book, closed note, and uses honor lock. Professor can be hard to get a hold of and is usually snippy.
Professor gives great examples in class, you should attend all sessions, if possible. She relates much of what you're learning to real-world examples. She gives plenty of extra credit opportunities. Make sure you study, study, study. Stay on top of the work. If you fall behind, it can spell disaster. Overall, great teacher that makes accounting fun
Wonderful professor.
So lets start with the homework is not what is on the quizzes and what is on the quizzes is not what is on the exams. It can take up for 3-4 days for her to back to you when you message her on canvas but that's only on weekdays because she doesn't answer on weekends but all her assignments are due on the weekends so god forbid you have questions.
Professor Cunningham is very well organized and gives you all the material and feedback you'll need to succeed; however, this is a very difficult class. If you aren't a quick learner, I would suggest taking Principles 1 & 2 separately or maybe changing your major. Be prepared to invest 8 hours + a week into this class.
Second time taking Pr Cunningham, a real gem. She's awesome. Don't have anything bad to say, just take her class!!
Not very helpful with responses (sassy). So much work. Test content is rarely covered. Tests are hard. You basically teach yourself.
Took this class fully online. The class is very straightforward and the content isn't too difficult. She gives extra credit at the beginning which saved my grade at the end. Very accessible by email.
She's a nice person but her lectures did nothing for me, she would explain it in class once and then the homework/quiz question would be totally different. She gives extra credit but I didn't even know how to do that. I wasn't sure what to expect from this class but it was hard, it not so much math but logic: know where to put the numbers.
Jill is a very nice lady and cares about her student's success. The class is very hard if you do not study. She uses Mcgrawhill Connect for all the assignments and tests and the practice tests are essentially whats on the actual test. Her lectures help a lot if you are struggling!
Professor Cunningham is such a great professor. Her lectures are great because she explains everything so well so that it is easy to understand. Accounting sucks but she makes it less sucky and is very helpful.
