Instead of teaching the class herself she makes us to presentations on important info. When she lectures she very rarely stays on tasks and often lets the same students side track the class repeatedly. I found her very hard to talk to when I needed help.

Don't take her if you can.. she's a bore and anything she talks about in class is never on the tests!!

VERY UNORGANIZED, TESTS ON INFORMATION NOT PRESENTED IN CLASS. NO RESPONSE THROUGH SEMESTER AS TO GRADES ON PRIOR ASSIGNMENTS. SEVERAL PROJECTS, SOME NOT DISCUSSED UNTIL LAST 2 WEEKS OF SCHOOL. WOULD NOT TAKE AGAIN.

For someone with her doctrine,she did not provide useful information.She was ver unorganized and disscussed information unrelated to the course. I would not reccommend her!!!

Summer Session-very unorganized,never stayed on topic,would make the class do the work for the science part of the course,and would teach the math as if it was an algebra course.never taught us how to relate topics to kids.Had her favorite students!!

She is a very sweet lady, but she does not teach very well. She does not give you any grades back until the end of the semester so you have no idea how you did or what to improve on. Then at the end she hits you with a final grade. Poor grading system.

I took her for thesis. I felt she was very unorganized and unclear. Her comments were not helpful and she does not get back to you quickly enough.

Hands down.. the worst teacher ever... I don't know how she ever got hired... don't you need to go through interviews to get a job? learned NOTHING in her class... she cannot complete a sentence....waste of my time and money.

One of he worst teachers here at St.Joseph's...She never explains assignments & than takes points away if you don't do it correct. She kept us there for 2 out of the 3 hours & yet it felt like I was there all day long. She is always out of breath & very unorganized and we didn't learn a thing!

The worst teacher I have ever had. She was never clear on any assignments or when they were due. She gave a review and nothing that she reviewed was on her test. The class was very boring and taught me nothing.

She is a space cadet. She never remembers anything and is very unclear. I learned absolute nothing in this class.

Yea horrible. She's very degrading. Basically just don't take her. She seems nice but when it came down to it she was not supportive at all for student teaching.

this lady should not be teaching, she is a doctor, how i dont know, class was boring, she didnt teach just rambled on with out any direction very unfair grading, 3 grades the whole class. if you vaule your education do not take her and patition to get her fired....

She is by far the WORST professor i've ever had. going to class is a waste of time. i learned NOTHING. you'll learn so much more with your fieldwork experience. She is super easy with grading, but sitting through the class is pure torture. save yourself!!!!

extremely unclear and all over the place...i never knew when anything was due. she changed her mind about when things were due. she is very unorganized. i did not enjoy this class at all. she can be a nice lady sometimes but more often than not she is not. Breathes really heavily when speaking too haha we thought she was gonna pass out.

This is absolutley the worst class I have EVER taken in college!! We do not discuss anything we should be, she gives us work but we have no grades and we have a final in a week and when we ask what to study she tells us to read the book! This lady should not be a professor! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT take her!

This the worst Professor I have ever had. You learn nothing but yet you have to do alot of work that is not clearly explained to you. She doesn't give any notes. You have no idea what grade you might get because you have no grades throughout the semester. Her projects are a disaster never understood them. Please DO NOT TAKE HER.

Gelormino is a spaceball.she is totally unorganized and doesnt have the slightest idea of what shes talking about.she drives me crazy. She is cool once the class goes on but shes a mess

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! Outside of class she is a nice lady but her class is absolutely HORRIBLE. She is VERY unclear of her assignments and just TALKS about NOTHING! Learned nothing!!Never uses the textbook nor a membership she makes you buy! When she grades your assign. she gives two grades(B++,A-+) those grades dont even exist! DO NOT TAKE HER!

She is a nice lady, but a terrible professor! You learn nothing..and I mean nothing. She is an okay grader but the assignments are unclear. Avoid if possible..if not just be prepared to buy a membership for your grade that you'll never use.

Do. Not. Take. Honestly, I learned NOTHING in her class. I learned more on my own during my fieldwork. In class she just rambles on about who knows what, and gets distracted very easily. Also she can't breathe. Do yourself a favor and do not take. Especially now with edTPA, you want a professor that will prepare you.

If you can take 308 with any other professor I would highly recommend you do so. Your grade is heavily based on presentations and group projects. She goes on tangents and there are no rubrics for the assignments she gives. Didn't know how I was doing all semester since I got no grades back. Very confusing of what she wants, tells people diff things

She's a very nice lady outside of the classroom but she's a mess inside the classroom. She never knows when things are due and doesn't follow the syllabus. The entire class is just projects and presenting them. I feel like I haven't learned anything.

Gelormino is a very nice lady outside of class. However, as a professor, she is horrific! She never even gave our class a syllabus! And then shed look at us like a deer in headlights when we asked questions about projects. She never graded anything, never lectured, we would just go off tangents the entire class time. I always left class more confused than when I walked in. Due dates are changed randomly, all of her assignments are full of typos, and she "can't find" projects that you've submitted. I didn't get my first grade back until November. Avoid if you can.

I literally can't check off anything for her. Not worth your money or time. She is by far the worst professor and teacher that I have ever had. She cannot breathe when she lectures and loses her place way too often. She will get mad when you email her questions about an assignment. She just made up an activity plan and gave us a week to do it. dont

Unfortunately I have left this class with little or no new information. I think Gelormino does try her best, but I was left lost and bored in the lectures. The assessments never have clear instruction. The fieldwork was very boring and felt I just wanted to get it done rather than learn anything. Overall, would not recommend this professor.

So. Incredibly. Rude. Not only was my professor for a course but my advisor throughout my time here. Sent her an email in a rush for my classes to be approved and she replies How about a please and thank you- get in the habit because you need to use it when teaching. Also continuously got my name wrong as my prof and my advisor over 7 years.

Hope you're a good mind reader, because that's the only skill you need in this class! Professor Gelormino is incredibly rude, and gives no clear instruction. Her classes and assignments are very unorganized and there is no clear structure to her course. Majority of your grade will weigh heavily on group projects and presentations. Steer clear!!!

Do not take this professor. She can be rude, unprofessional, unorganized & disrespectful. Constantly lectures on representing yourself well in the classroom but doesn't display it herself. Calls you out on improper grammar in front of the whole class. I have not learned anything this semester, lectures are completely redundant, please steer clear!!

It's 2023 and you are checking your professors and see this one has a 1.6, "oh it's been two years since she got a review let me give her a shot". DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I am not saying it isn't easy, so far it doesn't seem too difficult but she literally does not teach and is the most unorganized person I have ever seen in my life.

Students teach the majority of this class and its texts. Dr. Gelormino has presentations every week, so she has rarely given instruction. When giving assignments, she is not clear. Her canva page is a mess, and there are no direct instructions on what is due when.

Worst professor I've had in college. The class consists of rambling lectures and doing online worksheets together that sometimes need to be submitted depending on the day. Due dates are inconsistent& moved around. Assignments have spelling errors& inconsistencies in them and are poorly explained.She doesn't use Canvas so you can't see your grade.

WORST professor in the world. She does NOT understand how to communicate. Gives 3 assignments for the whole semester and takes points off for things that don't make sense. She will yell if you ask what your grade is. Wears pjs to class but tells us we need to be professional. You won't learn anything, all we did was play with smarties and apples.

Weirdest professor ever. Snooze fest of lectures, I didn't read the textbook once, and I still passed easily. She has no idea how to use canvas and doesn't respond to emails. Makes us do the weirdest activities in class, a few group projects, and a final thats online. She seems sweet and wants the best for you, but she's not a good professor at all
