She's an ok teacher. She puts a lot of emphasis on the quizzes, so take your time and read the chapter. She also puts a lot of weight on your papers. She makes you work for your grade.

I had her class 8AM! but she totally woke me up because she's so enthusiastic with her classes!!! i really recommend her... grades pretty easy, just make sure you do the readings... it's a sinch! She's one of the greatest teachers!!!

She is so easy to understand. I am horrible at English and she taught me so much. She claims to be a hard grader but as long as you do your work you get a good grade. The first day she was loud pushey, but thats just to scare you off... after that she is awesome!!! SO MUCH ENERGY! Great teacher!

Professor Gold Wright has absolutely changed my life for the better! She is such a great teacher! You use the textbook alot for reading at the first half of the semester, but then not so much. As far as hotness is concerned, if she was younger and single, i'd ask her out! Her class is NOT easy and it requires hard work, but it is worth while :)

I took her this summer. It was HARD but also FUN and completely worth it. She will teach you, and you'll want to learn. Your writing will improve! Winter class. English has never been my cup of tea. I have to say that Mrs. J made this class an amazing experience! She wants you to learn and not be there to just warm up the seat, if you have to ask 20 times for you to get it? She will explain it 20 different ways, I would of loved to have her in my HS years eng would of been so much easier.

The class focuses on writing essays. She lectures on the process (brainstorming, body pts, word choice) and the structure of writing (organization, MLA). You'll have a hard time if you don't understand the assigned stories, which you read for homework. You'll do fine if you have a strong argument and support it well.
