Expect 70% of your final grade to be 3 exams and the final. During our semester, you got to retake each exam the following week and she took the higher score! Regardless, attendance is taken at every lecture. The class is easy if you are good at chem, otherwise, you might be crying because it is fast paced.

She is one of the best professors I have had. She truly wants all of her students to succeed and allowed retakes on every exam. Definitely fast paced but its not that difficult as long as you do your homework. The textbook is very helpful and I used its practice questions and end of chapter practice tests to study for every exam.

She was one of the best professors I have ever had. The exams were not that hard, plus she allowed retakes on them. You can tell that she truly cares about her students understanding of the material. The homework is easy enough, it's just due every Sunday. This class was by far my easiest this semester.

She' s a great professor, best to take for 117! Retakes for all exams besides final, and takes best of either. Homework is not too time consuming (2 hours tops due every Sunday night). Go to lectures, do videos, and DO THE PRACTICE TEST! They are practically identical. Also, she is super friendly.

she was great at explaining and gave lots of resources to use for class but you definitely need to attend lectures not only for a grade but to understand the material. if you cant attend she does have video lectures as well which is nice. just do the work and you will be fine for the exams

Robinson is a really great professor. I can genuinely say that I learned a great deal in her class. It was a lot of work, but it did pay off. She wrote the textbook, and it's online and interactive, which was really great. The exams are pretty difficult though, and the final was the hardest test I've ever taken, it was very unfair.

Take chemistry with this professor! Her lectures are done in a student-friendly way and allow for students to understand the concepts. If you understand the lectures, you won't have a lot of time to spend on homework outside of class. Take advantage of the practice exams and exam retakes! The practice exams directly reflect the actual exams.

Prof Robinson was decent. She sometimes goes too fast or doesn't explain things very clearly during lectures. However, she's very friendly & willing to explain things to you. Take advantage of the exam practices & retakes. There are no curves for this class, so do every assignment. Attend class because that's how you get your participation grade.

She is good at explaining things, but sometimes goes too fast in lecture. Exams are just like the practice ones. Sometimes you learn brand new things like three days before the exams. MasteringChemistry is annoying but a little helpful. Discussion assignments are also good for exam study.

Good class, chem 117 is a hard course but Robinson did a good job. She's not as great as a teacher but she is very knowledgable. If you put in the work this class is manageable, but it is time consuming and stressful. Exams make up 70% of your grade but you can retake them all but the final, so make sure to take advantage and study study study!
