Took this class in the wintermester. We covered the material in 11 days. Dr. Trask is awesome. I really enjoyed her teaching style. She truly seemed to care if you grasped the material. That is a big change compared to other Econ professors at TCC. She is great. The class was not really difficult. Put forth effort and you will do fine.

very good teacher. took her in the may mester and they said that it would be hard since I didn't take 2301 yet but it was pretty easy if you just buckel down and do the work. she gives out reviews. very easy to understand and if you dont understand she will help you grasp it.

I had her for a dual credit class and I loved it. Some of her weekly homework quizzes can be hard, but she explains everything really well and is willing to help you out. Her tests were fair if you studied. I liked the fact that she seemed really into economics and wanted us to be also.

Trask is an AMAZING teacher! She truly cares about every single one of her students. The reviews based on the fact you pass if she likes you are totally untrue. If you work hard and try, she can tell because it will be reflected by your quiz grades. DEF TAKE HER! She's the best teacher I've ever had. =)

Had Dr. Trask during Fall 2009. She is wonderful. I was afraid of economics and having her as my professor made it all so crystal clear. She helps students understand and asks for questions lots of times. I feel read to take the next economics class because Dr. Trask is so great. She gives lots of homework, but it helps you do better on tests

Economics can be hard---this lady will make it seem simple! If you are unsure of anything just ask and she will stop and explain. She lets you know what u need to knw for her tests and let's you bring a cheat sheet! She will even let you use the old eco book $15! She will make this boring subject exciting!

Great Instructor, Very easy to understand, very organized. It is easy to see that she has alot of experience teaching. Could not have gotten through maymester with any other teacher.

I had her for dual credit. She is an amazing teacher. Yes it is true that she treats some peole better,but not for their personalities, but for the grades. It is no way that anyone cannot make an A plus in this class. She is to easy. The quizzes you can easily find them in the book, and you can use a double sided copying paper cheat sheet for test.

Took micro-econ with her--it's a very hard subject for me, but she made it easy and fun. LOTS of studying. She explains everything in detail, and answers all questions. Goes over quizzes, and shows you how to do problems step by step. (Note--on the SE campus, the tutor practically GIVES you the answers for quizzes.) I'd take her again!!

Dr. Trask is a very good teacher. She clearly knows what she is talking about and is always willing to help out if you are confused. However, I have to agree that your grade in her class is very reflective on how much she likes you. She hated me, and screwed me over on the industry project and I ended up with a C in her class.

I had her for an online summer 1 class. Her lessons are straight out of the textbook. There were 10 assignments, 4 quiz and 3 exams. The Exams were hard but appropriate for the material covered. I would take her again. It was a relatively easy class. You do have to read the text.

Great professor, there are no excuses in her class. She explains everything very clearly, gives you quizzes to help prepare for the test and gives reviews for the exams. Invest a little bit of your time and you will make an A. Her teaching style is also great, you won't get bored during lectures. :)

Absolutely loved her. The material is hard to grasp sometimes, but she'll be glad to explain it. Her pictures and charts definitely help make sense of it all. Attend every class if possible because you will feel lost during certain chapters. Definitely take her if you get the chance.

I took this class online being very nervous about it, but Dr. Trask is very helpful! The work load was not bad at all, and the assignments are designed to help you understand. She really knows the subject! She provides online audio notes to help you along and you must read the book! Ask questions and do the work and you'll get an A like me!

What a fabulous Professor! This woman knows what she is talking about, and even though the material is hard, she is such a detailed and engaging lecturer that as long as you do the work you'll get an A. Always willing to tutor, she is very passionate about her subject!! I highly recommend this class :)

She is a great teacher, she will make economics the easiest subject, I like attending her class, it makes it fun and easy. Very great teacher

This class practically flew by. Economics is already the easiest class for me, but she does try to make it easy on others. Has very helpful reviews on quizzes and exams. And homework assinments are easy 100s. She does grade on a curve btw, in all her exams I got over 100%.

Dr. Trask is so helpful! She cares about every student and tries her best to reach each student. You must read and do the homework; but the homework is helpful and helps you better with class lecture and class participation.

Great teacher. She makes it easy to understand, and goes over it numerous times if you didn't catch it the first time. She doesn't put up with any misbehaving though. She tries to keep her class organized and under control. No cell phones, no late work,no talking, no interrupting, no excuses. I liked her class and plan to take her for ECON 3202.

I didn't like her much while taking her class since at times she acts a little immature and her exams and quizzes are hard but I actually learned a lot and she is very clear and teaches strictly about econ. I took a different professorffor micro and he is a dutz didn't learn a thing.

Wonderful Teacher!! She takes her time to make sure everyone understands the material. There is a bit of work, but its all so much worth it because you learn so much. Love her! She likes people to participate, and she also does not accept late work. but that's because she gives you the option to do.the assignments wayy ahead. LEARNED A WHOLE LOT!

One of the very best professors I have ever had at TCC. I learned something useful and fell in love with the class ONLY after meeting Dr. T. She will take you where you need to be step by step through the semester. Come to class. Study. Get an A. That simple.

Dr. T IS an outstanding professor. Here is what you need to do to get an A: 1) come to class EVERY day. 2) Study. 3)Complete your homework AND quizzes UNTIL you get a 100. 4)Put forth EFFORT on your PowerPoint. If you don't make an A it is because you are not coming to class or partying too much when not in class!

Dr trask is awesome!! Do the homework and quizzes and youre sure to pass. Shes so nice and a fun teacher!

Ive had better professors before. she is rude and singles out her favorite to least favorite students. she speaks to the students as if they were back in highschool. she does not accept late work at all even if you had a personal emergency. if you have her class just be prepared to read, listen and you must attend class.

This is by far the best economics professor ever. Here is the deal: You have to come to class and actually study to make a good grade. Duh! These other id10ts that say otherwise should have stayed in high school. She is tough but if you pay attention and study you can also make an A. Tests straight from lecture. Come to class and don't be late

She speaks clearly and NO problems understanding her lectures or her expectations. She tests to her lectures. She gives generous extra credit. If you "try" by studying and completing assignments with EFFORT you will pass. Otherwise- take the NO English speaking alternative professor and GOOD LUCK!

Dr. Trask is a smart lady and clear speaker. I enjoyed her course, because her examples are easy to understand. Do not be late to her class or disrespect her by using your phone during class, since she will not tolerate such things. Expect to do homework, tests, and a group project. If you put in basic effort you can get an A or a B.

She's a good teacher. Explains assignments clearly and reminds of due dates. She treats students like high school which is a good thing. I would finish all her homeworks in one hour and her essay is the easiest I have ever done. Recommended for STSC class.

Mrs. Trask is a great teacher, she always gives extra bonus points after each test. Her homework's are pretty hard, but you can always get through. Just focus on getting a 100 average in homework's, around 80's in your exams, and practice and rehearse your power point project, and you'll get an A in the class.

I read the other posts about Dr. Trask. Some are correct, but others are not. Dr. Trask was always willing to meet with me and other students outside of class; even if it was a time outside her office hours. She tested over lectures and reading. Her examples were great. She helped me understand. She cares deeply about ALL of her students!!!

Great lady and a good professor. Really nice and wants you to do good in her class. One big project u have to do good on and its a group. Test are easy bc you get a peice of paper for a cheat sheet. Hw is easy to get a 100 everytime(online). Easy A if you put in some effort and get involved.

I'm glad I took Dr. Trask for Macroeconomics. Her lectures are detailed and cleared, there is no need to be constantly taking notes. There is a semester long project, but it's not bad since she checks up on how we're doing with the project. I would take her again if she taught micro. And oh yeah the tests are a breeze with a cheat sheet.

I LOVED prof trask, she's so sweet and cares about her students. If you do you work you pass. The only thing that I didn't like was the big group project, and that's just because I got stuck with a significantly lazy group, other than that this class was great !

Jill Trask is an excellent choice if you plan on taking Macroeconomics. She will teach you the things you need in order to pass. Her reviews are just like the test; you also get a cheat sheet for each test you take.

Professor Trask is great! She gives reviews for each test and uploads her powerpoints. The test is the same as the review, just understand and read from the book and have a grasp of the concept. If you don't understand, write it on your cheat sheet which is a full piece of paper front and back. Test were very easy and one group project graded easy!

Trask is wonderful! She is a one of a kind professor. Her lectures are visual, verbal and personal. She makes you think, gives you examples and makes you learn to understand the concepts taught. It's college so the homework is hard and the tests are harder. If you go to class, show respect, study and do the homework you will make an A. (I did!).

Dr. Trask was always willing to help. She explain content in so many different ways that it really helped me understand. She loves what she does and really wants all of her students to succeed.

I LOVE TRASK SO MUCH I consider her a personal friend, shes such a sweet heart. Very very strict about phones, but youre in class to learn so Just put it away, its really not that hard. The only thing about her class I wasnt a fan of was the HUGE group project that I basically ended up doing myself but that wasnt her fault. Please take her.

Great Professor! She has a review for each test you take. Lets you have a cheat sheet too! Just make sure to do all the chapter hw and 4 exams. There is only one group project which is easy and straightforward.

Took her class online. At least one assignment, quiz, or discussion board is due each week. Sometimes all 3. You have to read the book. She gives the link for the online pdf so you don't have to buy it. Her tests and quizzes are a little hard. You must study for this class. She also uses the online proctor so it records you taking tests.

I took Economic class was very easy and she is so respectful with students and making sure you getting done all homeworks including online one and participate on projects assignments then you will pass the class and she try her best that student learn from Economics.

I love Dr. T!! She made me love Economics. She is a tough grade but she does it because she wants the best for you. Don't "bs" anything because she will know it and call you out. Also, she will yell at you if you're on your phone. every week there's hw due. 4 exams, huge essay, and a presentation. She loves economics and it shows when she teaches.

This was a slightly above average professor IMO, her discussion board posts were super easy, quizzes were simple, but tests were quite hard. If tests had been like quizzes I'd have gotten an A, but I'm happy with my B overall. She was easily assemble via email.

Dr. Trask is awesome. She replies to emails really fast. She wants you to succeed and is always available to help you.

Prof Trask was a pretty good for online. There 2 exams that are proctored that you MUST study for. Quizzes are not proctored. She offers extra credit that is fairly easy. Discussion boards are pretty straight forward. She gives good comments and feedback on grades.. you will pass if you put in the work!

Dr. Trask is awesome. I earned a C in this class, but I learned so much. Dr. Trask was always available to help me and she really wanted me to succeed. She wants all of her students to do well. I would take another class class from her

I had Dr. Trask Spring 2020. This was a tough time our class moved from face to face into online format because of Covid. Dr. Trask was awesome and then she got really sick and was in the hospital, then we had a substitute, but Dr. Trask still sent us emails. When we went to online Dr. Trask was back and everything moved along great!!!

I just finished ECON 2301 with Dr. Trask for Summer I 2020. This was a lot of work, but wow did I learn. Doing the course online took some getting use to. I definitely had to budget my time. Dr. Trask sends reminders and has lectures that are narrated. She gives lots of feedback on assignments. She was great!!

I have to take this online because of Covid. Dr. Trask has made this course so organized. She includes videos to help you understand what you read in the textbook. She gives us narrated powerpoints that really help too. I have asked her a bunch of questions and I usually hear back from her in less than an hour. I am so glad I picked her.

Professor Trask was great when I took her this semester while you do have to read the assignments are fairly easy for hw and you can always retake hw. Discussion Posts is pretty detailed on but not hard to do either, dont leave things for last minute.

I liked Dr. Trask, so I am going to be taking ECON 2302 with her. She provided a ton of resources to learn with. The class was easy for me as I took it right after taking AP Macroecomics in high school, but my brother also took her class during the same time I did, and found it to not be easy or hard, a happy medium. I would recommend Dr. Trask!

Lots of reading required, however, you can still do her homework and discussion from Google research. She cared about peer reviewed references, citation and MLA style paper. Extra credit helped.

Easiest class I ever had to take. Textbook was free. Took her wintermester class. There is a 4-page research paper to write. QZL is your friend in this class. H.W might take some time if you dont have subscription to a certain hw helper site.

I took her online witermester class, deadlines are serious and there is extra credit. You do have to read the book but its not very long, there is a four paper essay and discussion boards that both have to have peer reviewed sources. She is very organized and straight to the point so you'll know exactly what you need to do.

Made As in both ECONs. 4 page paper due. The workload is fair- not too little, and not too much. She is a fair grader- Just give effort! She is understanding. My laptop crashed and she worked with me so I could finish my exam later. She seems very knowledgeable on the topic, organized, and she responds when you reach out to her. Just do yourPart

Dr. Trask was a chill prof. Very fast at emailing you back whenever you have a question or problems. Homeworks were pretty easy. Let's use your textbook for exams. The only thing I did not like was the Discussion Posts and the 11 pm deadline. I was sort of lost with some of them but eeh as long as you do all your assignments you will be fine.

WOW - take this professor. She is kind and very interested in her subject. She retired from Tarrant County College and now teaches at Texas Christian University. I took her at Tarrant County College and I think she is awesome!!!

This is Dr. Trask's first year at TCU and I have enjoyed her as a prof. She makes the content very clear and is quick to respond to emails. She lets you have a full sheet of paper cheat sheet on the four exams, which is super nice because they are 70% of the grade. Put time into understanding the homework and you will be good.
