she seems cool but she is so hard. She doesnt curve and her test are really hard. She doent says she wants us to learn and wont make classes easy! Her test are so mixed up you have no clue what the question is she is asking. And she wont let you see your grade becasue she thinks you will cheat, which is really stupid. Dont take her!
She is hard but she explains good. if you go to her office hours you will learn way more.
Dr. Trepanier's class was interesting but her tests were extremely hard. Do not rely on her notes to study. Reading the book is essential to do well on tests.
She is the best teacher i have had at LSU, she is really helpful and her reviews tell you what will on the test. Go to every class because she doesnt put notes on moodle. I wish i could take her class again. She is also funny
The absolute nicest professor at LSU, with test from the devil. The test are hard to follow, comprehend, and unless you are totes in love with the atmosphere you probably wont be able to answer the questions. She is willing to do office hours which really help alot. But the class is no easy a
Subject matter is extremely boring and a little confusing unless you love physical geography, especially the atmosphere. Very knowledgeable professor who tries her best to help students understand the material. Not exactly an easy course, but I managed to get an A after taking advantage of extra credit opportunities.
Without a doubt the nicest teacher you will have at LSU. Test are very hard, but you can go to her for help whenever you need it. Overall hard class but awesome teacher. If you don't go to class you are screwed.
I loved her. She was so funny and really took the time to try to get you to understand the material.
Great teacher! People say her tests are hard, but when you take the time to study, they aren't bad at all. I made B's and C's on them and got a B in the class. She also offers extra credit and it always open to help you out.
Great class to take. The material could be a little hard for some, but if you are interested you'll do fine. Classes are fun to go to and watch. She really loves what she does. Test require some work, though. Small assignments online are the only homework you'll see. Great class and great teacher
hilarious
She is so hilarious. She does her best on making the material interesting. Some people may have problems with the material but if you are willing to make the effort to go to class and read your notes and the book, you will be fine. Don't skip class. If you need help she is always willing to help out. She has review sessions, GO! Enjoyable class!:)
She gave my class roughly 24 bonus points toward our grade. Take her if she has a smaller section. She is more likely to give larger amounts of extra credit to the smaller section. Her test were a little tricky, but this is coming from someone who doesn't like science. I made C's on all the test but with extra credit it got me a B in the class.
Trepanier was one of the nicest professors I've ever had! She's SO helpful & sets up numerous study sessions/bonus opportunities for you (both in & outside of class). Some concepts may be boring but she tries her best to make it interesting. I think her tests were easy (just apply the concepts). Read the guides on Moodle/back of chapter; they help!
I love DocJill. She makes geography so fun, and I used to hate stuff like that. The class is more on the atmosphere than the location of things, and you really do learn to understand how our planet functions. Her Wisconsin accent is adorable, and she's super helpful.
Trepanier was one of my favorite teacher at LSU. I hate science but she made science more interesting. Even though i received C's on all the test, my class was a smaller class so she gave a tone of extra credit so I pulled out with a B. If you are in a smaller class you will likely have a tone of extra credit
Go to class because she gives random bonus questions. Very clear lecturer. Will draw and explain weather diagrams to help you understand them. Tests aren't too bad so long as you go to class and study your notes a bit. Online quizzes got kinda confusing, though. Overall, I would highly recommended her.
I took this class as a freshman thinking it would be normal maps and countries geography. I was dead wrong, but boy I'm glad I took it. This class is an ATMOSPHERIC geography class, so if you want to learn how wind works, you're in luck. Be prepared for a good bit of critical thinking, coming to class really helps, and expect group work.
Prof T is awesome! I would take her again if I could. It is not the easiest A to get, but honestly its really not a hard class. It starts off tough, but gets much better after the first test so don't lose hope! She is very willing to help and explain more if you don't understand. She is very funny and her lectures usually fly by.
She really isn't hard. There are two types of homework per chapter and three tests total including a noncumulative final. Overall, good teacher.
Dr. Trepanier is a very nice professor and 2050 is very simple. As long as you download the powerpoints and read over those before each exam, you're golden. You should go to class to make sure you understand the concepts, plus she takes attendance so that's important. There is online hw, but the answers come straight from the textbook. Take her!
She has a great personality, and this makes the class more interesting. She really tries her help her students out by giving tons of bonus opportunities in class. Her tests are difficult, but she tries to help you in any way possible because she really cares about her students.
Prof T is awesome! She's a really clear lecturer, tests aren't bad if you pay attention in class, and she gives lots of extra credit. I'm not a science person but I would take this class again. Not much homework and prof T is there to help if you need it. Take this class!
Professor T was absolutely fantastic!! I had to take a science class to fill my gen-ed science, but I'm glad I took it with her because she is really fun, kind hearted, and really just wants her students to be able to understand the weather. And don't forget, Temperature is EVERYTHING!
Prof T gives great lectures and is very clear with both the material and grading criteria. Take notes, go to the SI sessions, and use the study guides, and you'll be fine. Attendance is taken through tophat everyday and graded, so be aware of that.
She's very nice and cares, but her tests are hard. You have to use her lecture notes and the book to study or you will not pass. She will do whatever she can to help you though.
Meteorology is hard, if you aren't into it you really shouldn't take it. She's very nice, but the material is hard and her tests aren't that easy. There is also a final project worth 40% of your grade.
Dr. Trepanier is an amazing teacher, her lectures are awesome but her test are hard. She takes attendance everyday at the end but you can do it at home if someone sends you the code. Go to lectures take notes and you should be alright. Clickers, extra credit, homework, and quizzes should boost your grade.
Dr. Trepanier was an excellent teacher. She did a good job of explaining the material beyond the slides and was energetic enough to hold my attention. I visited her office hours a couple times and she really helped me understand the lesson. The class is interesting and easy to study for (online slides). Absolutely recommend for gen ed science.
Take decent notes & go to the review day before tests & you'll be fine. I never read the book, only studied my personal notes & what i wrote down on review day & made a B+ . Overall great prof & gives extra credit opportunities. She puts an attendance code up every class for participation (graded), so you should go.
Her lectures are really clear and enjoyable. She has a good sense of humor which makes class fun. Tests are hard but homework and participation grades can boost your grade. Really awesome teacher!!
Dr. Trepanier is an excellent teacher, I really enjoyed her class every day. The content isn't always easy, but she does her best to break it down for you, and that makes the class so fantastic. Lots of involved readings, have to keep up with them for the easy points. Fantastic teacher, I learned a lot and really enjoyed myself.
Great professor that cares about her students. She gives good lectures and explains the material very well. Tests can be tricky so GO TO the SI test reviews and her test reviews - they're worth it. The class is easy if you listen to her lectures and do the SI worksheets online. Attendance and participation are graded so go to class.
Awesome teacher. The lectures are not enjoyable unless you're interested in the subject. Go to class because sometimes she will give bonus at the end. Tests are pretty tricky, but once you do all the homework and quizzes, it will boost your grade by a letter grade or two. It's obvious that she wants her students to succeed so she will help you out
One of the best teachers I have had. Her lectures are so funny and she tries to do everything she can to get people involved and to help the class understand everything. Always show up to the class before a test as she will answer some of the questions from the test!
Professor Trepanier is an amazing teacher who cares about her students and really loves the subject she teaches. She gives extra credit quizzes for bonus points randomly throughout the year, so going to class is beneficial to you. She is always available for questions outside of class and is always willing to help students. Great teacher!
She offers a lot of bonus points during attendance, but attendance is random. Alot of the material on the exams are in the study guides she go over.
She is an amazing teacher that is very passionate and wants students to succeed. She has a great personality which makes material interesting. Learn how the weather works in this class. Takes attendance and has 3 exams total. Not cumulative final. Gives bonus opportunities and sometimes curves test. Also, there is easy chapter quizzes online.
Take her!! The material is not easy, and you will have to study but she gives so many bonus opportunities if you go to class, especially the second half of the semester. She tries to make the lectures interesting and fun. She gives a lot of info from the test the class before it.
Passionate about the topic, fascinating insights into the field, encouraging and supportive, cheery/warm demeaner, very approachable.
Jill is awesome. Her lectures are fun and she knows how to keep everyone's attention. Her test can be somewhat difficult but she gives an enormous amount of extra credit opportunities. Attendance and homework are a must if you want to get an A.
she yells all class period and makes me feel uncomfortable. also talks in second person and thats weird. ok class but wouldnt do it unless you had to. will never forget the day she told us we were fires on a mountain. ouch. just read the book and go to the test review days.
gives so much extra credit, did not take attendance because it was a huge class, only 2 tests and a final
Great lecturer with a great attitude. Show up to class and do the homework assignments, and you should have no problem getting a good grade. She has the best personality at LSU!
Professor T is the best professor I've had at LSU. Her tests are from her powerpoints, she gives a ton of extra credit, and homework is easy and not time consuming at all. Go to her exam review days! She also teaches really well and makes you want to learn about the atmosphere. Didn't think I would like this class, but ended up loving it!
Dr. T is the best professor I've had at LSU. Her Hurricane Climatology course is a course in R. She teaches the stats and the coding really well. Her expectations for a 4000-level course are more than reasonable and she is clearly passionate about the world of hurricanes. She is very personable and has very accessible office hours.
Professor Trepanier is one of the best professors that I have encountered on LSU's campus. She really wants her students to do well and is always so willing to meet outside of class to help. Her lectures are super interesting and fun. She gives tons of in-class opportunities for extra credit, so go to class!!! 100% take Professor Trepanier!!
Best professor that I have had thus far at LSU. I would not say her class is easy, but if you apply yourself, you can no doubt make an A. Go to class (bonus and gives you hints about the exams), read the textbook, and do her exam study guides and the class won't be bad at all.
She is an awesome professor! She's really funny and super helpful in her office hours. You do have to study a bit much for her tests, but you can definitely get an A if you work hard for it. Her final is definitely the easiest of all of her tests so don't give up! Random attendance days for bonus and ALWAYS go to the review day!
Okay do yourself a huge favor and take professor T!!!! She was the highlight of my freshman year without a doubt. She is incredibly understanding and its freaking hilarious in class. Make sure you go to class it really does help and is genuinely enjoyable!! I never got science but she made me excited to learn, and everything stuck.
Jill is awesome sauce!!! You can tell by how she teaches, that she really loves what shes doing. Her lectures are super heavy and she moves semi fast, so try and keep up. There are online quizzes that are super easy, if you read. She gives extra credit, and reopens quizzes before finals. She cares about her students, and I would take her again.
She's very interested in what she teaches and it is very apparent. She gets excited to share her knowledge. The tests are pretty easy if you study. Use everything she gives you and she throws questions in her tests that she talked about in class. 50 multiple choice.
Barely went to class and never studied but still got a good grade. When I went she made it enjoyable because she's hilarious!
Easy class, if you go to class you might get some bonus points. She curves the final. She's really cool and cares about this topic a lot. However, you dont need to go in order to pass.
She Would extend her office hours to accommodate her student 's and there need for assistance's.
She's honestly the friendliest person on the planet. She is so passionate about what she does that she actually makes the class interesting. I only attended a few times but every time was great. Tests are straightforward. Weekly quizzes and checkups but they are also straightforward. Definitely take her if you need the class!
She was funny and very sweet! She always kept class interesting and explained things well. The launchpad homework was very helpful. Class isn't mandatory but I suggest going and taking notes. The tests are very hard and I didn't study much. She also gives random in-class extra credit.
Textbook not mandatory but we do homework w/ an online access code. Packback is also used here. These things are all easy to do but easy to forget to do. Attendance NOT mandatory but she gives extra credit on random days. Passionate about what she does. Makes class lecture more interesting. Hilarious and caring, I love her as a person + teacher!
She's an amazing teacher. Explains well, and has good powerpoints. Gives extra credit. Very funny. Love her accent. An easy-ish class where you WILL learn a lot if you go to class.
She is probably one of the best professors I had! She gives extra credit. Class isn't mandatory but I wouldn't have passed with an A if I didn't go. They have assignments online with textbook so didn't buy a hardcopy. Tests can be tricky but it is a lot of making sure you know the concept but overall 15/10 great professor. Take her!!
Dr. Trepanier is one of the best profs at LSU! She is so enthusiastic about what she teaches and genuinely loves what she does. Her energy just radiates throughout the classroom. The material itself isn't bad, but she makes it extremely easy to catch on. Gives a good amount of extra credit, too! Attendance is graded!!!
Prof Trepanier was very caring and made class more fun for us. She takes attendance, so go to class. She also gives a TON of bonus in class so that is another reason to go. There is a lot of homework/quizzes about the chapters and through pack-back, but they really help your grade if you don't do well on the tests, which were harder than I thought.
Professor Trepanier is amazing! The material can boring but she is very enthusiastic so it's more enjoyable. You get graded on 3 non-cumulative exams, packback questions, homework/quizzes (so easy), and attendance. She puts slides and study guides on Moodle. She has given test questions/answers and bonus several times throughout the semester.
Extremely passionate and able to make the material fun and easy to learn. Looked forward to this class.
Best professor I have ever had. The sweetest soul! So caring and helpful. Take her if you ever get the chance!!!!
After the 1st exam, make sure you go to class because she gives tons of extra credit. She is very understanding and curves exams generously. She will extend deadlines, and she really cares for her students.
I loved Dr. T and she was one of the best professors that I have taken at LSU. The class was really easy and she made the lectures really interesting.
Professor Trepanier is one of the best professors I have taken so far! She takes a class that most would find boring and really turns it into a fun time. While her test aren't easy, she gives you all the materials you need to pass including multiple exam reviews and a a good bit of extra credit!
She is so passionate about what she teaches and she actually cares about her students. She wants to see you succeed and she is super accommodating and wants to help you be as successful as possible. I'm a marketing major and I absolutely loved taking this class. She was an amazing professor and was hilarious, her lectures were never boring!!!
(summer session) Take this class if you need a science credit. There are 3 exams and some online quizzes. The final is not cumulative. During the lecture she will say when something is on the exam. There are lots of good resources on quizlet to prepare you for the exam. Overall, the class is super reasonable and not too difficult do to well in.
she takes attendance on a clicker app but I was able to log in at my apt. and it still checked me in. tests are difficult, you'll probably fail but if you do all the extra credit, quizzes and homework, you'll get an A or B in the class. also sometimes curves the tests!
She is a great teacher. She will become your favorite teacher ever very fast. She is very helpful and wants her students to succeed. Also gave our class a day off because she figured we were stressed and needed a break.
Let me be real with you guys. Professor Trepanier is great. She is so caring and respected. She gives us open-note tests, quizzes, and extra credit. She even gave us days off because she knew we were stressed out. Just watch the lectures and you should be fine.
Dr. Trepanier is a fantastic teacher. She is so engaging and funny. She makes a class about the atmosphere fun and makes you look forward to being in class. Dr. Jill is a must take for GEOG 2050. The work is not a lot and is pretty easy and the exams are non cumulative.
I love her and easy A she answers her emails so that says a lot about an LSU prof
Attendance is mandatory. She only has the app she uses open for less than a minute to log on so youll more than likely miss the opportunity to say youre there, and be counted absent that day. She gives learning curves the day of the first lecture and she doesnt even cover all the material so u dont know how to answer the questions.
Jill is one of the most sincere, easy-going professors I have ever had. Yes, attendance is mandatory and is taken through iClicker. You're paying for the class so don't be lazy- that wouldn't make any sense. If you're unable to make it or you forgot to check yourself in, just let her or the TA know, they'll fix it with little-to-no explanation.
shes an amazing professor who cares about her students and loves to teach.
I had no troubles with this class at all. She is a very understanding teacher and genuinely wants you to excel. If I could have her for every class I would. Her tests are straight from the lectures and she gives quizzes and hw's for each chapter, which are online. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about professor Trepanier, take her if you can!!
Absolutely loved Professor Trepanier! Her class was interesting and she made it all the better! Very heavy with homework material but she gave plenty of opportunities to do it. Definitely recommend it for an elective and I would definitely take her again if I could.
She wants her students to do well and gives lots of reminders about when work is due. The review sessions with the TA are super helpful.
Only three tests. Open book but pretty hard. She has those questions where it can be several answers so if you aren't careful you will easily miss. I got one C and A's on everything else yet still ended with a B. She offers extra cred which is great but not worth very much. Very nice and passionate about geography, but hard timed tests.
This was probably the easiest course I've taken in college. Tests are exactly what you expect them to be and homework is easy.
Lovely as a person and a professor, will be very patient with you if you have any personal problems over the course of the class. Knows what she's talking about and is passionate about it. Tests are appropriately difficult and entirely multiple choice.
Professor Trepanier is a top-tier professor at LSU. She is really caring and is very understanding when you get backed up in her class. She offers some extra credit throughout assignments and tests. This course had 5 assignments, 3 tests, and a project. She is very flexible with dates and is always willing to extend time for assignments, etc.
I love Prof Trepanier! She is an amazing educator, knows what she's talking about, and loves what she does. She is willing to hold office hours to further explain class material to you. Gives bonus point opportunities. Tests weren't proctored but were timed so you still had to know the material. Go to her review sessions; she gives test answers!!!!
Absolutely loved taking this woman's class. She was super energetic and really cared about her students. She never just threw any difficult information at us. She always made sure to explain it in a way that EVERYONE could understand. I honestly wish there were more professors like her on campus. 10/10 recommend taking this class.
This course is an easy A. The exams are very easy to pass, just study the material from the PowerPoints and take good notes. The homework and quizzes are on Achieve. You will also have PackBack. Attendance is mandatory on iClicker. Plenty of extra credit opportunities. The only way you will fail is if you do not submit your assignments.
I highly recommend you take this class for your sciences instead of your basic biology. She makes it very interesting. You do have to study and really understand the material because her test are application, but she makes sure you know your material before the tests. She is understanding and gives a good amount of bonus. 10/10
She has been BY FAR my favorite professor at LSU. Prof. Trepanier has been the kindest and most caring teacher I have ever had. She makes it her goal to make sure students succeed. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her. She really helps you out if you need it and gives you so many resources to study from. She will always be my fav!
She is my all-time favorite professor. Extremely helpful in all aspects and cares so much about her students. She will do everything she can to ensure that we are successful and she is so passionate about what she teaches. Lectures are always interesting and I love showing up to class every day!
Prof. T is great. Her class composes a subscription text, online work, and 3 exams (including your final) that are on moodle. She and her TA are always accessible out of class and very understanding. Honestly, just go to class or go over her lectures and you'll be great. Attendance is important because you have to check in. Take Prof. Jill !!
Complete the homework assignments (very easy), be present for attendance, and attend the TA's review sessions, and you'll do great. She is very passionate and engaging and offers many opportunities for bonus points. Exams are online. Our class was hybrid. Only good things to say about her.
She is a really good professor and wants all of her students to do good. Homework and quizzes are easy. Exams are easy as long as you go to the exam reviews over zoom.
Prof T was AMAZING! You can tell she really cares for her students. She was great about explaining inside and outside the classroom, if i ever had questions I could email her and I would get a response. She does move a little fast in class but overall it was an easy class to take and I was taught everything I needed for the tests.
She is very organized and it is easy to understand what is expected of you. As long as you complete the assignments(they dont take too much time) you will be fine. She is nice, funny, and very engaging during lectures.
She is the best ever. The class was super easy and she was very understanding of things.
Professor Trepanier is the NICEST person ever. She's funny, she makes her lectures interesting, and all tests were multiple choice. Attendance (iClicker) was a pain via zoom, and the textbook (Achieve) is buggy/overpriced. Still, I knew nothing about the subject but it became one of my favorite classes. Absolutely would take her again!
Lectures are fairly engaging and your grade is made up of quite a few things which is nice. If you read the online textbook and take the adaptive quizzes (literally easy points so long as you do them) and the regular quizzes you will do great. The voice responses were fun and easy to engage with he rest of the class.
You can get a good grade in this class because she gives extra credit assignments and the hw weighs a lot. You have to put a lot of work in. Too much for a gen ed course. The tests were very hard.I would just take someone else that's easier and does not require attendance. She did way too much for a gen-ed course.
super fun professor, very passionate about both the subject matter and teaching. makes sure you learn the material with animated and memorable lectures, and encourages questions. its a lot of work for a gen ed course but if you study, pay attention in class, and do your work, you'll pass
one of (if not my favorite) professor of the semester. super chill, funny, and lectures are engaging and interesting. as long as you keep up with assignments and topics we cover in class, tests are a breeze!
I wish she could be my teacher for every class. She is super nice and her geography class is super easy to get an A.
Dr. Trepanier is an awesome teacher. I went from not caring about earth science at the beginning of the semester to adding a double major in it from taking 2050 with her. She teaches really well, and she wants her students to do well. I didn't think the tests were hard, but some of my peers did. She gives study guides before every exam though!
Professor Trepanier is the best! The more you put into this class the more you get out! She was easily my favorite professor because of her ability to break down complex concepts, and make them understandable and applicable. If you are willing to put in the work you will get so much out of the class!
Professor Trepanier is incredible! She is so knowledgeable and passionate. The material can be difficult at times, but as long as you put in effort, it makes sense. Professor Trepanier gives great one-on-one help if needed. The things we learned in class have real world applications, it's really cool to look at the sky and know what's happening.
I thought I was going to hate this class at the beginning of the semester, but Prof Trepanier made it enjoyable and interesting. I actually learned a ton from her class regarding the atmosphere. She has three exams but also weekly small assignments that really boost your grade. Show up to class, to your work, and everything will come easily.
Okay I know a lot of people rave about Prof Trepanier, but I think she does too much for this to be a gen ed course. I know she is incredibly smart and passionate but as a not STEM student taking this class just to get a credit, it ended up being the final I was most stressed for. I would recommend taking an easier professor if possible.
I loved Professor Trepanier's course. She broke down all concepts exceptionally well and was always willing to help students with questions or concerns. The grade is based on many factors, so I highly recommend earning all the points for attendance and weekly assignments. I wouldn't have gotten an A- without them!
I took her on Zoom, so she used clicker for attendance, but you can use the app and be fine. Weekly quizzes/homework through the textbook. Make sure you do them! All easy and can be done in a day (all the quizzes). Tests were on Moodle, so I feel for y'all doing it in Himes. Easy science credit, I recommend it! She's very passionate and engaging.
Professor T is my favorite professor at LSU. She is super passionate about what she teaches and understands that not everyone is. There is 1-2 homework assignments due for completion and pack back assignments due on Sunday nights. She gives lots of extra credit. I'm taking 3013 in the spring. Definitely recommend taking her class.
She took attendance on iClicker, and at the end she gives you an attendance grade. The second test is the hardest. Go to her in-class review and study. She gives so many homeworks and extra credits though that if you don't do good on the tests, you can still get a decent grade. Geography is boring to me, but her energy made lectures interesting!
Dr. Trepanier is so funny and great at explaining how weather events unfold. Full disclosure, there are no prerequisites for this class, but I would not recommend taking this course if you have not taken GEOG 2050. She does not take attendance, but if you don't go you probably won't do as well as someone who attends every class.
Great professor, and an easy A. Open-book quizzes.
I loved this class. If you pay attention in class and review your stuff this class is easy.
One of the best and most compassionate professors at LSU. There are constant opportunities to bring your grade up, and preparing for exams is not difficult. You do not have to attend lectures, but you would miss out on this wonderful individual making jokes, being herself, and teaching material you can tell she cares about.
I'm not a geography major, but I took this class to satisfy a physical science requirement. Dr. Trepanier is very engaging and genuinely cares about her students and her subject matter. Her grading is very lenient and she offers a ton of extra credit.
Hands down one of the best professors I've had, her class is super engaging, the notes are easy to follow and she provides lots of feedback and help to her students. She also gives ample amounts of extra credit; all you have to do is keep up with the homework's, create good study habits, and this class will be a breeze!
The best professor ever! This was difficult, but mainly because I don't understand geography. She will heavily explain things she knows no one will understand. There are only three exams, all of which will be curved. Your grade will also consist of at-home quizzes and attendance. I didn't get higher than a B on any exam and still ended with an A-.
Never made over a 70% on the exams. I made a 54% on the final. God bless Jill Trepanier. With the curves, extra credits, easy weekly HWs, and attendance (sorta matters), my fears of failing were gone. The lectures were funny sometimes. I don't find anything amusing when I'm worried about my grade, though. If I actually cared, I could've made an A.
Okay, my only beef with her is that attendance is mandatory. The class isn't bad, the material can be difficult sometimes, and the test isn't what you expect. She's a great teacher and really cares that you understand the subject. She does curve and do extra credit.
Loved this course! Prof Trepanier's lectures were super interesting and engaging, and I found myself looking forward to her class. Iclicker is used for attendance and reviews and exam questions are gone over in class. Tests are not overwhelmingly difficult, and a lot of extra credit is given.
I loved Mrs. Trepanier, but not so much the class. The lectures were pretty boring, but she would make them interesting. Most of the time she would tell you some test questions during her lecture and give extra credit. Definently take her if you get the chance to you will definently pass the class even if you fail every test.
I loved her!!! Super caring and great at her job, she wants you to succeed. She took attendance every day. Had to purchase an app to do discussion questions, but was an easy way to get points. homework was easy too. The tests were not easy though. pay attention in class. she gives a lot of extra credit to help your grade
Mrs. Trepanier is very awesome and knows exactly what she's talking about. Her lectures were very interesting, and I learned a lot in her class. Attendance is mandatory and you have to study a lot for exams. They are NOT just memorization, but you have to apply the material learned. If you go to class, you should do fine. If not, you may struggle.
The information is somewhat difficult but if you do all your assignments you will do good. Tests were hard and attendance for a grade.
just go to class and write down what she says, if you dont go u will fail take it from an advid class skipper but she is helpful and a really good teacher
Funny and genuine professor. Sucks that you have to buy a semester of Achieve and Packback. Have to study a lot for tests but there is always a curve and extra credit. Many small grades so it is not too bad. She is very passionate about weather and cares about her students.
Dr. Trepanier is the best professor I have had the pleasure of taking in the Geography and Anthropology Department at LSU. She is super passionate about her line of work and research, and if you're the right audience for her, then that passion is literally contagious. She wants to help you understand every part of the material and is very kind.
Professor Trepanier's GEOG2050 class was a mixed bag. The lectures were often dry, but she made an effort to keep things engaging. Attendance is mandatory, and the exams can be challenging, but she curves grades and offers plenty of extra credit. I found unstuckstudy really helpful for test prep.
If you don't study for your exams you wont pass. 3 total exams and usually gives extra credit the day after exams.
She is great and her content is engaging!
She was cool. Sometimes the lecture was boring but you can fail the test and still do good because she gives good curves for every test. I made like a c on just about every test but curves dead made them a b-A
Class was so boring, but attendance was mandatory despite it being a 400+ lecture. She uses iClicker, and you have to be in the exact location/classroom. If you find the quizlets for each exam, then you'll be good.
