She is helpful but her class is extremely boring because she explains everything in lot of details like if we were little kids. Really easy class you don't even have to attend, just go the first week and the day of the test. 4 test, she drops the lowest grade.

She is awesome drops your lowest grade and weighs your highest test score as 45% of your grade. If you are in between taking this class or computers for business take her she is so great. you do not even have to take the lab!!!!!

Easiest class you will ever take. Attendance isn't mandatory and it's lecture one day and lab another. I rarely went to class and didn't even take the last test because i had an A already and she drops the lowest grade. If you have half a brain you will ace it. Don't think twice about taking this class.

EASY CLASS. You really have to be lazy or an idiot to fail this class. Seriously, she drops your lowest grade, doesn't take attendance, and you just have to do excel exercises out of the book. She's really helpful and the class is not interesting at all, but she'll clarify anything you need to know. Take this class if you want an easy A.

want an easy A? well this is the class for you. you don't hav eto go to the lecture just the labs (if you're to lazy to do it at home) so basically you can just go to the test date and pass. you can fail one test and pass. fail 2nd test and pass. so you can get a B and a C and you are good to go!!! (10 min test anyways). class pointless. =)

The best teacher ever! Not only does she not take attendace and offer a beneficial grading scheme, but she tells you the answers to the tests VERBATIM! She always offers 1 extra credit point JUST for filling out your scantron correctly and offers 5 excred points for "attempting" online questions! Do yourself a favor and take her!

Great professor. You don't really have to buy the material if you attend class. She teaches the class the way anybody can understand... Seriously, even if you're retarded, you'll still learn a lot. Her grading system is to die for, Pro student. Take her, you won't regret it.

Damn this was an easy class, i only regret not not putting just a little more effort... but all you have to do is read the chapters n power points ,the test are directly from the book you dont even have to do the tutorials...i took this class in the summer and im glad i did highly recommended

Extremely easy class. As long as you know anything about Excell and Access, you'll do fine. She makes you take 4 tests and drops the lowest grade. There is no final and you aren't even required to go to lab sessions!

extremely easy class. Lab's aren't required just as long as you have Excel and Access on you home computer to do the turorials. She post extra credit for each test on the class website. And all you have to do is try it, you can get every answer wrong and you still get 5 points added to each test. She drops lowest test grade. HIghly recommended!

Just make sure you have the text books and Microsoft Office 2007. Do the lab exercises, you can go to the lab or do them at home. The hardest part is the Excel but its not too hard. Word is a joke. She encourages using Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer for those who haven't seen the light.

Super easy class. but its also one of those classes taht if u expect to get away without doing any of the assignments or studying cause its word and excel. u will end up failing. so do the lab assignments. vene if its at home. u dont have to show up for class. but know the material. she drops thw worst of ur four test grades. no final.

Very easy. Make sure to do the lab assignments so that you get an idea of what will be on the tests. Do the extra credit. Work hard and you wont have to take the final.

She is a great professor! She will explain everything that will be on the test. You don't have to go to the lab to pass the exam. I do recommend going to the lectures since its basically everything that's on the exam.

Professor Weiss is extremely nice and helpful. She never hesitates to answer your questions. The lab on Thursdays isn't mandatory. Neither is lecture but I recommend you attend because she explains very thoroughly everything that will eventually be on her exams. Impossible to fail. Take her!

This class is extremely easy. If you are a non-science major and are seeking to get an easy math class, pick this one. She teaches how to use excel which can actually be useful. The tests are very easy if you follow up and do the tutorials and study the vocabulary. She even gives you an extra 5 credit points just for answering some extra questions.

This class is SO easy! You have to do tutorials for Excel and Microsoft word. She gives you four exams and the lowest grade is dropped. It's really hard to fail this class.She's also very nice. Easiest online class! Quizzes are only ten questions and you can take them twice. No homework required. Buy the textbooks online and they are really cheap! I got both of mine for $14

Such at great Professor! Straight forward about expectations. No projects, no homework. Just go to lectures, complete tutorials(optional), do EXTRA CREDIT- you get 5 pts just for attempting, and of course go to tests. She doesn't believe in Finals either, so you're done with this class a week before everyone else! Don't take Walid Akache CGS2100.

This class is basically word and excel! Very dry material, so it's difficult to make it interesting. Class is graded on a very easy curve, and the exams are simple. 5 points extra credit on each exam with online test prep. 4 exams, drops the lowest grade!

This class is self-explanatory. You NEED to buy the textbook and exams are super straight forward. There's no way to do bad in this class, with this professor unless you dont read or go to class. Her lectures are overviews and she gives hints to what expect on the exam. Shes extremely helpful! Take this class with her.

This class was easy but it was near impossible for me. The professor is great though. She is nice and caring and knows exactly what she is talking about. She provides extra credit opportunities too. The book is NEEDED. With all that being said, I still struggled in this class.

Took online and was EASY. Almost impossible to fail. 6 quizzes worth 40% (drops 2 worst) and the Excel and Access exams worth 30% of your grade. Got 100% on all the quizzes (right from the slides). Pay attention to the vocab/terms because that's most of the exams and you will ace those also!! Easy A and learned Excel & Access fluently. Take!!

Professor Weiss makes every possible effort so her students get a good grade. I did not went to the labs I only went to the classes and mostly fell asleep during them. You just have to review the concepts in the book and you ca find them online also. Great professor and easiest class. I got a B+.

Class is not mandatory at all. If you just do the tutorials required from the book, you can easily pass this class. With that said, the book IS MANDATORY if you want to even think of passing. This class is easy but you must study for the exams. Class isn't mandatory, all the material is in class. I only went to class 5 times. I passed the class with a B+ cause of laziness and underestimating the easiness of the class for the first exam. Book is a MUST. Read the tutorial and you should pass.

I took this class expecting to get an A and that is what I ended up getting but i did had to put in the effort to go to class and do the tutorials at home by myself. In class she goes over the tutorials you need to know for the test and answers any and all of the questions you have. Test are easy if you read the textbook. I highly recommend her

She made the class interesting enough and she is very knowledgeable in Excel. 4 Exams, each with a 2/3 extra credit quiz worth 5 points (too easy) and she also provides another extra credit quiz at the end worth 5 points (I think) towards your final grade. Class is not as easy as people say. You need to really study and memorize the books. Tests are difficult, and confusing. When you feel confident, your grades always come back bad :( Recommend the class, but don't get too comfortable STUDY

Took this class online and it is so EASY. Six quizzes, and only the highest four grades are used. That's 40% of your grade. The other 60% comes from two tests which are not hard at all. She is very organized, fair, and it's an easy A class. Recommended!

You take 4 tests but Your grade is only based on 3 . Study the whole book and know all the terms. She doesn't teach well and there is barely any questions on the test and you have to learn more than 50 terms per chapter. Goodluck

Took this class for CGS 2060. Never showed up to class or labs, barely studied the text book, and still got an A-. All you need to do is read the book to get an easy A. Also the extra credit assignments and the grading scheme make it hard not to pass with an A.

EASY A! Just make sure you study all definitions. I got 100 on quizes and two 70's on both exams and still passed with a B ;) and I didn't study i just read over the tutorials fast so if you STUDY believe me, you'll pass. It's not hard I promise! I was just dumb to take the proctored exams without knowing one bit xD

If you fail this class, I have no sympathy for you. This class is super chill. You don't have to go to class or the lab, but it's helpful. Buy the book. She's also super sweet and gives extra credit before the exam, and the questions for the EC are on the exam, which helps a lot. Overall, wonderful professor, and I would take this class again.

Great prof! It helps to go to class and put in the effort: read the chapters beforehand (it helps). For test: study the vocab in the beginning of the chapter, truly read and go over the chapter, DO the hands on tutorials (not just one time). I did flashcards for the tutorial steps and it helped TONS for the test. That was my recipe to get an A!

Only went to one lecture so don't really have much to say on her as a teacher. The class is really an insult to your intelligence; never went to class and only bought the Excel book and got a B+. Very easy class. 6 quizzes and only 4 count very simple. 2 tests on proctorU that are similar to the quizzes just longer.

Take her class. Very straight forward. There are 4 test but you can miss one. One class a week. The other class is an optional lab day and you don't get credit or even sign in. Please this is the best class to take to boost your GPA. She gives extra credit with unlimited tries before each test!!! Please go place this in your cart for next semester.

I took the online course, and it's all very simply spelled out. 6 quizzes - only keeps the top 4. As well, 2 finals. Make sure to read the book and now the material, and you can easily get an A.. Had to contact her a few times via email, she was very helpful and quick to respond.

It's easy to pass this class if you show up to the lectures and labs. Getting an A will require more effort. Some of the test questions come from what she talks about and the labs. Most of them are buried in the textbook. She gives a review for the tests. I passed the first three tests and stopped coming a month before the semester ended.

Took this class online and it was extremely easy. Just do the readings of the week, the quizzes are super simple and straightforward, right from the textbook. She is always there to help and will remind you constantly the week before the exams and during to make sure you don't forget(they are done through ProctorU).

Don't really need book if you go to every lecture and take good note. There is extra credit for every exam, if you remember the vocab and important steps, if you get a B for the exam, the extra credit will boost your grade. There are 4 exams in total and you are graded on the best 3 exam scores. AWESOME!

I took Microcomputer app. for business online with professor Weiss , and she is absolutely great. Very nice and easy to pass class. she gives an extra credit opportunity for both the Excel and Access exam which gives you 10 whole extra points on each exam. theres about 6 quizzes, very easy she only takes the 4 best . easy to pass class.

Fundamentally, this class is about learning Excel and Word and if you have basic knowledge/certified in one/both these softwares, this should be a walk in the park for you. The labs are optional and your grades are based off of four tests with the lowest score dropped. Also, she's a super nice and caring teacher! I loved her so much!

She is fine but there is no class structure if you are taking this course online. As she told me when I had a meeting with her, it is the responsibility of the student to create their own schedule to accommodate this course. She gave me great advice when I struggled on the first exam and gives great extra credit opportunity for her exams.

Great Professor!! She gives you all the tools to succeed and more. The Excel exam is pretty tricky so I'd study hard for that. Aside from this, it's an easy class where the responsibility is given directly to the students.

This Professor is so amazing! she responds to your email very quick, will help you understand every single concept, and if you're struggling all you need to do is make an appointment to see her (office hours) and she'll work with you. 4 tests drop the lowest one and a little extra credit at the end of semester. She's AWESOME!

TAKE ONLINE. Takes best four out six quizzes. all answers online. two exams on proctorU, but if you do the extra credit you can score a 57 and somehow get a B in the class. Great curve. Easy class.

The online classes are super easy.

Quiz on every tutorial and two exams (one excel exam and access exam) both on ProctorU (u can have a study guide). Allows u to take extra credit quizzes for both exams, u can take it as many times until u get 100%. The quizzes u can take twice and then the highest grade is used. She also drops some of your lowest quiz grades at the end.

Such a sweet heart! Really goes out of her way to help her students and to get to know her students. Explains everything you need to know for the exams. You must do the tutorials in order to pass the class and I would recommend attending all lectures because she says what will show up on the exam.

Professor Weiss does a great job responding to emails. Overall the class is fairly easy. The excel exam is challenging but the access exam is a lot easier. The questions on the exams are similar to the questions on the quizzes. If you read the book and do the extra credit you'll pass easily.

Great professor. Her grading criteria is very clear on the syllabus. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! The weekly quizzes are very easy but the two exams are a bit hard but if you do the extra credit you should be fine. I passed very easily, as long as you do what your supposed to it should be an easy A.

She's great! So nice and caring. You only get like 4 tests all semester. 2 word and 2 excel. You'll fail if you don't study, but very easy if you just try. The book gives you everything. Morning lecture might feel like forever, but you learn some cool things. Also, I definitely recommend a non-Mac computer. Macs are practically useless.

Her expectations are very clear on the syllabus. She doesn't give homework but you obviously have to study on your own to pass the tests. If you go over the tutorials the exams will be easy. 4 exams and she makes the exam you scored the highest on worth the most towards your overall grade and the lowest scored exam is worth 0%. She's awesome!!!!

If you have any questions about the tutorials she shows you in class, email her. Go to her office hours or the learning coaches. They are willing to help you. Ms. Weiss answers your emails quickly and drops your lowest grade. I highly recommend her, especially if you want to know how to use Excel. She's so sweet.

This was a great class. There were 6 quizzes, 2 each month with ample amount of time to complete. There were 2 proctored exams an Excel Exam and Access exam. You are able to use two sheets of notes both front and back on both exams which is very helpful! The teacher also gave two easy extra credit opportunities that you take before each exam.

Also, the book was not needed! The powerpoints has what is exactly in the book. Unless you want the book to look at on your own terms and future wise then go ahead! I overall love this class and learned so much. I was not much work at all only quizzes and two exams.

Overall, it was an easy class. Make sure you buy the textbooks (Word and Excel). The material for the tests comes straight from the book (make sure to read everything in the chapter when studying). 4 tests (drops lowest one). Student-friendly grading scale. Tests are usually 25-30 questions and are easy (common sense if you know Word and Excel).

Wow, easiest class I've taken. Basically just learned how to use microsoft excel and the only grades are 4 exams. But she lets you miss 1 exam since the lowest grade gets dropped. She is super nice and funny. You don't really need to go to class, just review the chapters that are going to be on the exam and practice on excel. Easiest math option.

Her class is very flexible to work with especially if you are working full time. You don't have to attend the class but ensure you are keeping up to the HANDS ON TUTORIALS at home, it is very important because all exams are heavily heavily based on what you do practically with wither word or excel. Try not to miss the one exam if you dont have to.

Professor Jill is awesome. Her course is very strait forward and fair. She gives a quiz every week and you have two exams. Easy course and lots of extra credit opportunity . This was an easy A and she is easy to communicate with and responds timely.

This class was simple, just follow the syllabus and you'll be fine. 2 exams (midterm and final) on ProctorU, and weekly assignments that are easy. Overall would recommend taking it.

Grading is 4 tests and she drops the lowest test score. 4 extra credit homeworks which is 2 questions that will be on the test. Test questions are MC or TF and about 20 to 25 questions. Class lessons are not mandatory, but you can expect test questions based on it. She offers other extra credit opportunities also.

Professor Weiss is amazing ! You don't really have to take any notes during her lectures. You'll be doing most of the work at home through the textbook and tutorials and they're really not that bad. There is really no way to fail this class. There are weekly 10 question quizzes and 2 exams in which she allows you to use 2 pages of notes front and back so 4 pages. She gives 15 points of extra credit towards the exam. Constant announcements and emails to keep you on track. Super easy.

This professor was my first online class professor and she was amazing. Not only did she send out reminders for the quizzes and the tests she also gives you a study guide that will help you and make everything much easier.

I did this class in 6 weeks and it was so easy. Two major exams and both had extra credit attached to them and one quiz a week. No homework. I wasn't able to take the exam the days it was open so she let me take it the day before. The exams are proctored if you take it online. Take her!!!!

It's an online CGS class. It's really as simple as it sounds. Two pages of notes for your two major exams and open book for the smaller quizzes. Impossible to fail, unless you're trying to fail.

Honestly, this was the best class I took this semester, the material can be seen through videos that are easy to understand. There are only like 6, 10 question quizzes that are on Quizlet but 2 big exams through proctorU, she also answers really quick and will work with you to make sure u pass.

I took CGS 2518 completely online. She gives you several reminders. It is a very easy class. There is 6 quizzes on canvas (10 questions each and you have 30 min) and theres 2 exams (40 questions each and you have 1 hour) & you are allowed a cheat sheet! There is no homework. Take her class! Took her accelerate class it was pretty simple. I did not have much interaction with her but the course was all quizzes. You get two attempts at them and there are two proctored honor lock exams. All the material was really easy

The easiest class you'll ever take and the professor is the nicest person. There are six quizzes that allow two attempts. There are also two exams that are very easy and are open note (the questions come straight from the quizzes). The professor sends out encouraging messages periodically after the quizzes/exams.

I took had Professor Weiss as a professor this semester and she was nothing but nice. I had this class online and she had reasonable due dates posted. As long as you do your work on time you will pass. Final was easy.

Weiss was as engaging, understanding, and flexible as an online professor could be. The course material is not extremely difficult, but don't expect to just coast by. You'll be more than fine if you go into the class with knowledge of Xcel but if not (like me), you'll have to pay a bit of attention to the hw. This class is quiz/test heavy so study!

Didn't really interact with the prof that much, but when I did, she was super nice and caring. The course is all about excel and the information can get a little overwhelming since you learn about every single action and button. I took this class online, you are guaranteed to pass as long as you complete all the work. The class consists of homework from McGraw Hill Simnet (which you have to buy), quizzes, and the exams. The exam questions are very straight forward and she includes a lot of questions from the quizzes. Take her !

Since it was an online class and we were using simnet, there was no lecture. Professor Weiss was still super communicative with us, sent us messages often encouraging us, and when we had an issue with our access to simnet, worked immediately with the publisher to fix it (on top of the fact that she negotiated a lower price for us to begin with).

The class was amazing, the work load was pretty balanced, the quizzes are not hard, and the class did not stress me at all throughout the semester. Easy class the only thing that could bring down your grade is the 2 proctored exams but just study past quizzes and you'll do great. A great professor who sends reminders about everything, drops 2 of your lowest hw and quiz grades, easy hw and quizzes. Take her if you can! You won't regret it.

The class was really easy! The exams are proctored but the material isn't difficult to retain. Homework matters the most because that's where you're actually practicing the different tasks in Excel so you can attempt as many times until you pass. For the exams, you can have a sheet front and back with whatever you want on it. She also congratulated you after each exam and quiz which I thought was nice. Her communication is also good.

She is such an easy professor. Everything can be done when you want as she at least gives two weeks to do an assignment. There was only two tests that had honorlock but you could have a cheat sheet front and back.

Honestly pretty simple course. All assignments are on SIMnet and there is a group project. The only thing to note is that all exams are honor locked but allows a cheat sheet. She is very nice and is willing to help if any questions or concerns.

Professor Weiss is amazing, she really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She gives a lot of feedback, even if it's just to say good job. The class consists of weekly assignments, a midterm, and a final. I definitively reccommend her for this course.

Great class, the professor sent out congratulations when you completed a test. It is worth it to take this online since it is about Excel and Access. You get to use a piece of 8x11 paper (normal printer paper) for your final exams. Exams are proctored by Honorlock.

Two exams with honor lock, but allows a cheat sheet front to back. She was super nice and always sent us encouraging feedback. Super lenient with grading. As long as you do the weekly assignments there is no way you fail this class.

Despite being online, Professor Weiss was such an amazing professor to have. You can tell she really wants you to succeed. She is so kind, and the class itself was manageable. I could not recommend more!!

She is so nice. Every time you get a good grade she sends you a congrats. I took this course online and for a mini term and the work load is not bad. I got everything done the day that it opened and I wouldn't have to do anything else for the week. 2 tests with one cheat sheet and 6 quizzes open book. And an assignment every week. 10/10

She was sweetest professor I had all semester. The class itself is easy if you pay attention to the SimNet assignments. She congratulates you whenever you do well, makes sure to remind the class several times for tests and assignments, and is easy to contact. 2 exams per semester with a sheet of notes allowed.

This class was listed as math but it was all about learning how to use Excel. All the online work was very easy but you need to do it if you want to get an A in the class. There were only two exams and were honorlock but we were allowed to use a paper front and back with any notes we took. Very easy and quick grading since its all online.

the best!!! she is so sweet and caring. there are two proctored exams but I failed both of them and still passed the class with an A. There is a lot of work you have to do for this class but is super easy and almost fun to do

Highly Recommend! Professor Weiss was so helpful when I had her class during fall. The assignments were pretty easy and the grading policy was very friendly; you were able to miss two quizzes and two assignments without any penalties plus the quizzes had 3 attempts. I liked how she allowed us a piece of paper with notes that we can use on our exam.

100% recommend this for your Math 2 class. She is amazing. The whole course is clear. It mostly consists of Chapter assignments in book, quizzes (open notes), one group assignment, and 2 exams. The 2 exams are using Honorlock, but she allows a whole page front and back.

Easiest math credit ever. She drops two of the lowest quiz grades and HW grades (even if you get all 100). She will remind you via Canvas email if you haven't taken the quiz yet before it closes. The exam is honorlocked, but you can have a cheat sheet front and back. If you need a GPA boost, take her.

Take this professor you wont regret it, she is so nice and compliments you when you do good on the quizes, there is some homework but very easy to manage.

This was my second semester in a row taking her. She's the sweetest and offers extra credit for every test, also drops your two lowest quizzes and HW at the end of the semester. There's so much time to do all your work and the biggest assignment is a doable group project.

She is great and the content of this class isn't too difficult, recommend to those that struggle with math. Gives time and is very helpful for the chapters and the one group project you will have. Work itself isn't to demanding or hard just remember to study for midterm and final which you have a lot of time to complete (is honorlocked).

If you're considering CGS2100, you will not regret enrolling with Jill Weiss.

Took this during Summer A! Such an easy class! Tests were honorlock but you're allowed to have notes! Homework and quizzes were easy too! Def recommend!

So easy, more than half of the grade is based on the assignments that you can easily get an A on and she just wants you to pass. Got 100% on all the assignments with barely any effort. You don't even have to do good on the final and midterm to pass. If you don't get an A in this class you will never get an A in any class.

She was an amazing professor and gave clear instructions. There were 2 test, both honorlock but you can have a double sided paper. There was also 1 group project that was very easy. There was a mini quiz once a week but you can use your homework on it. Gave extra credit. Easy to reach out too and very positive. Overall course was generally easy.

Literally the easiest class you can take!! The class consisted of a few assignments with matching quizzes to go with them. 2 exams using honor lock. She gives lots of extra credit before the exams. She's also super easy to reach if you need her. if I could take her again I would. Best teacher ever! TAKE HER!

Easiest class you will have!! Some might say it is tedious, but it is very do-able, if you set aside 1 hour to do the work once a week. Weekly assignments are ~20 online walk-through assignments (each takes about a min or two) and a 10-question quiz. Even if you do bad on the 2 test you can pass! I got a 57 and 67 passed with an A.

Great Professor. One group project. The work is simple, but takes about an hour. Not too many assignments. Extra credit opportunities.
