She is one of the best math Prof we have. She totally explains everything in an easy way and does not rush you on. She will stop and always explain.

Best math teacher i've ever had. I caught on2 her way of teaching so easily. This is the first time i didnt have a problem w/math. Awesome teacher shes funny sarcastic n she really makes u understand.she puts math in 2words&it is so helpful.A lot of quizes ur grade=quizes=1 test grade n there 4 tests lowest test only counts once the others twice.

She's really nice and she'll work with you if you put forth the effort. She makes a lot of jokes that really aren't funny, but she's aware of that. She explains everything really well and makes sure that everybody gets what she's saying. Her clothes are so cute and sometimes slightly odd. It keeps things interesting to see what she's wearing.

Took Survey of Math in a 5week summer class. Sooo easy. She explained the methods that she wanted to see used and then gave homework worksheets that were almost exactly like the test. If you did the worksheets and understood them, then you were pretty much guaranteed a passing grade. And she's pretty cool too.

i took her for survey of mathematics.. shes awesome..i took this class before with finberg n had to drop it. but Zacharzyk drops your lowest quiz grade.. and she explains everything. im not that good in math but i got a B+ 89.4 wouldve had an A but her grading scale is 92-100 is an A. oh well.. best math teacher ever.. TAKE HER!!

She is a great professor. I have never done well in math and i actually did well in her class. She explains everything very well and will help you if you don't understand something. Deffinitly take her if you can!!

I loved her! She explained everything extremely well and if you didnt understand something she went over it again. I didnt get anything lower then 93 on her tests. I took her for the summer session and Im happy I did because it was so easy I have no idea how that could take up an entire regular semester! Loved her!

I took the summer second five week class. There was a lot of information and every class you would learn the information for the test you would have to take that week. The tests were easy, she could be a little nasty at times but overall she was a good teacher and it was an easy class. P.S. DONT SKIP ANY CLASSES

Prior to this class, I hated math! I was frustrated and confused. Mrs. Zach is clear and moves at your pace. She has the patience of a saint and makes learning fun. She breaks everything up into increments for easy instruction. If you rate this teacher poor, there is something wrong with you. I wish all my teachers were this great!

Other than the fact she was almost always late, she was a great teacher. She was a great teacher, lots of examples and did a great job explaining. Most of the people in my class didn't do good, mostly because they didn't pay attention or didn't come to class. I still hate math, but I got an A in this class!

This is a very very good teacher!! if you usually struggle with math she is the perfect teacher for you! she explains things so detailed and applies high school material that you already learned so you can learn and apply the new material. Homework assigned every class but she does not check it, but she goes over any questions. GREAT PROFESSOR!!

Gives a 2 biography papers to do for 2 easy quiz grades. Drops the lowest quiz grade. Takes time to make sure everyone understands it before she moves on. Best Teacher at OCC!

great teacher. really cares about her students. takes the time to help each student and shows lots of examples. She is late for like every class but hey no one is perfect. Txt book was never used, only for homework which she does not collect. But she gives handouts so no need for book. :)

Excellent - I hate math and this class was great. No algebra, so don't worry, it's just a tour of different maths. Very easy, very nice, comprehensive coverage of material, quiz weekly, homework daily, very helpful and available. Would highly recommend!!

I hate math and am so bad at it and she is the best math teacher I've ever had. She goes nice and slow, checks in class problems to make sure you know how to do it, does reviews before tests. No midterm or final, understands that kids in her class suck at math lol and is very kind and sweet. She is not a doormat, but she will help you out. Love her

Extremely helpful, thoughtful teacher. She goes over everything until everyone gets it. She's always 3 to 5 minutes late, but that's not really a big deal. Very easy class if you show up and pay attention.

I have taking this class many times in the past. She is very clear on the material. However she tells you that you have a test on teh material next class and then starts on teh next material before you evntake the test, which gets very confusing.

Excellent student interaction - open times - friendly and helpful when even when class is over. She is regularly late but it doesn't affect her teaching or your learning ability. Although Professor Zacharczyk needed to leave at the midpoint of the semester, I feel that she was one of the best teachers I've ever had. She made math better for me and, more than that, instilled the confidence in me to believe that I can get through college level mathematics. She's a great person, professor, and math-enthusiast. I not only got the A, but also overcame a LOT of the anxiety associated with dealing with math. 100% you should take her class.

Ls face it, math sucks, & this class if the furthest thing from exciting but if you make any effort at all you will pass. TAKE HER, go to class, and do your homework.

All I can say is WOW... I was never good at Math, but Professor Zacharczyk's class was very interesting and I found myself learning it very easily. She's very understanding and very helpful. I would definitely recommend her for MATH-165!!

This Professor was great. She broke things down and made everything as easy as she possibly can for you to better understand math. She also gives out review sheets before tests which help a great deal. Just do the homework and practice the review sheets and you'll get good grades.

If you miss class you might miss something important. Math sucks but Zacharczyk broke it down and FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE MATH MADE SENSE!!!!!!! I wish all math teachers were like her. She assigns homework but won't check it, and always answers questions about homework. Lets you have extra credit if you want it.

Professor Z is an awesome teacher! She writes all the information you need on the board so take good notes. Don't miss class, you'll miss something important. Tests and quizzes are short so study because a couple wrong answers and your grade is shot! All of your Final class grade is based on tests, quizzes and two papers, that's it!

Prof. Z is incredible. She is very clear when going over sections and also willing to revisit past assignments if needed. Homework was assigned but not collected. Do it anyway. This prepares you for tests in addition to the review sheets. Without a question, I would take her class again. D

Ask questions if you don't understand. She has each student complete problems and checks everyone, will help if you're having trouble. Genuinely wants you to succeed. One of the best!

If you don't typically enjoy math TAKE PROF Z!! She explains everything thoroughly and will gladly help you understand anything you have trouble on. I got over a hundred on every test and I'm sure you can too if you put the effort in to understand the material!

Professor Zacharczyk is an overall great person. The class is super easy and she makes sure you know what's going on. Definitely would take her class again.

Home work is not required, neither is Math XL. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. She gives lots of examples and is really good at explaining new information. If you don't understand it she will explain it in a different way to help you. She wants you to pass but you do have to work for it.

She makes everything so clear, and if you walk out of the class not understanding what was going on, you definitely weren't paying attention the whole time; that's how clear her lectures are. She is also very understanding with absences, just don't go overboard. She gives A LOT of extra credit, so utilize that!

This professor is amazing. If you walk out of that class not understanding its your fault. She takes the time out to explain it over and over again. She gives you more chances to pass this class than any other professor I know. If you get the chance take her class, its so worth it.

Professor Zacharczyk was one of the best professors I've had. For being someone who never did well with math and always struggled in my mathematics classes, this professor made me completely understand what was going on and always offered to help if a student didn't comprehend what was happening in the lecture. This is hands down my favorite teacher, and I've hated my math my whole life. She just takes the information and puts it in your head and then you know it. Her teaching style is that good. She breaks everything down to the simplest possible terms. Plus, she's SO nice and her outfits are on point every single day. You won't catch her slipping.

I had professor Z last semester and again this semester.. honestly amazing. I'm horrible in math. as long as u show up to class u will pass the class. so many chances to get extra credit -shes amazing guys. If you don't know how to do math. she will teach you. TRUST ME

She gives MULTIPLE quizzes that count as extra credit for each test....I ended the year with +100% average. She gives out great reviews for every test too. I am very pleased with the way that Professor Zacharczyk has taught this class. She is very nice and looks out for the success of the students. Prof. Z offers many opportunities for extra credit, most significantly the "quizzes" that actually are extra credit for the tests. I really enjoyed taking A Survey of Mathematics with Professor Zacharczyk online. She was a fair grader. The Mathematics essays may at first seem intense on top of the homework + tests/quizzes, but they help your grade in the long run if you struggle with math (and it only requires 500 words). I would highly recommend this Professor.

As someone who doesn't like math, Prof Z. is a GREAT choice. She lectures and demonstrates with energy. She always checks that the students understand material and keeps the class engaged. Professor Zachary is the best math professor I had. She goes over material numerous times to make sure you understand it. Prof Z IS GREAT! I SUCK at math but she made it somewhat tolerable. She's a GREAT TEACHER! everything is take home and on my labs if you do the homework you'll easily pass. show up to class its 12% of your grade and comes in handy if your bad at math like me. I left stats to take this class and it was the best choice ever. I am cautious with math but I was extremely comfortable. She thoroughly goes over lessons and even recaps the previous lesson at the start of the next class so no one is behind. Willing to answer any question with examples and makes sure everyone understands. NO MID TERM OR FINAL!!!!

As long as you go to tutoring, do the optional homework, and take notes, it's easy to pass her class overall. Not the most exciting, but tolerable. :)
