This is such an easy class. She lets you drop a test score and she curves test scores. Gives a study guide that has all the answers to the test and lecture notes. Barely have to show up but she is full of personalilty and shows videos and does some little experiments in class.

I can't believe that nobody else commented on her hilarious personality! She's also a great teacher. If you get the chance, take her Human Sexuality class when it opens in 2006. I can't imagine a more entertaining class!

Honestly, this class was EASY, multiple choice tests w/ unlim time! how can you not do well. i didn't even read the book except during tests. 3 projs... easy, hell i bs'd two of them and didn't use the book at all. dicussion questions are easy. she puts up all of em in the 1st wk so you can be done w/ them in a day or two if you try. just do it.

I loved this class! I looked forward to going to class and actually was bummed if i missed because we were always talking about interesting things (and i usually hate school..fyi)..alot of non-pressured class involvement. she has us take a lot of smaller tests intstead of a few huge tests.. :) lots of fun take the class!

Jill is so sweet and nice. Anyone taking a class from her will feel happy, even if circumstances say otherwise. Her class was fun and interesting, though her tests are tricky if you don't read assigned chapters carefully. Her teaching style is laid back, and she is fairly compromising. Extra credit opportunities are available as well.

Jill lectures in a manner in which you will absorb the information and not forget it. She is also very funny and entertaining. I loved her class and I didn't have a problem getting up at 7:30am to go to it because it was soo good. Being in any of her classes is a great way to start off your day. I highly recommend Jill Seiver.

J Seiver is one of the reasons why I have changed majors. She is extremely funny and always keeps her lectures interesting. I enjoyed her class very much.

i WOULD definitely recommend her for PSYCH 101! She tells us the story a LOT! I took her class pretty early (7am) but i never skip the class, bcoz it worth time to attend her class even that early! Lotz of quiz that we can take from home, but it pretty easy as long as u read the book. ^^

SHe is awesome! I took this class online. When I read her syllabus, I was kinda of scared. It looked very hard, but the homework was very interesting and fun. Just make sure to post your homework and projects on time, and you can get an A. The test are not easy, but its doable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Jill is absolutely the coolest teacher on this campus. She makes it easy to wake up and learn @ 7:30am:)You can tell she really knows her stuff b/c she explains things in relation to her real life experiences. Jill is freakin halarious as well. I'm so gonna miss this class and her witty banter. She is what teaching is all about period:)

I took her online class this summer and i think it is a really good online class. It looked kinda hard at first but it turns out to be interesting and not that hard at all. Assignments are easy, as long as you follow the her requirements, they should score full credit all the time. Test are not that easy though, but you can always open your book!

Jill is a great professor! She is very thorough and clear in what she expects of you in class. If you follow her instructions for the discussion questions, you will get a good grade everytime. I liked psychology before this class, but now I love it and would like to take more psych classes and more classes with this professor.

I took this class online, and it was super easy! Don't try to finish the test the night before it's due, work on it a little at a time all week, and you should get a good grade on it. It was a great class, and it was very interesting(I actually liked reading the textbook!) Great teacher, easy A(but you still learn a lot!)

WoW. This class was an experience of a lifetime. BCC is lucky to have her teaching. This class was interesting and had a great structure. Other teachers could learn a lot from her due to an impressive grading system (tests, projects, extra credit, hw, study guides). She has put much thought into this class. The information is helpful and practical.

Jill is a great professor!!! She will make sure anything you are being tested on is covered in your reading or studies. I can't wait psychology class with her as a professor.

By far one of the best teachers I've ever had. She is very helpful and kind. At first I thought she was kind of weird, but she's just SUPER silly. She's an amazing teacher, I HIGHLY recommend her! The only bad thing is that the paper is hard, but you have all quarter to work on it, which is good.

Super easy but you learn a lot. Took her class online, open book quizzes which she lets you take 1 week to complete, weekly homework and every other week a small "project" which is basically a 1 paragraph report. definately recommend taking her online classes. I'm not a study type of person nor smart and am still getting a good grade.

I enjoyed going to this class, or when i did, the morning class was kind of a snooze, but her jokes were somewhat funny so it was ok. If you are interested in taking PSYC. at BCC she knew what she was talking about.

I took her class online. It was pretty easy and good for a first time online student. 50 Question test once a week, 1 discussion a week which was the hardest part since it was also the homework aspect and 4 replys. 1 super easy project every other week. I got an A and it was my first online class. She also knows her field well. Take this class!

She is a great teacher. She teaches pretty much from the book but adds her own thoughts and input when she's going through the PowerPoint lectures. Attendance is only mandatory for tests, which is nice sometimes, but if you go to class, it doesn't take much outside work to get an A. Only 5 assignments and 3 tests and some extra credit available.

online class, do your work on time and print out your tests to look at AS you read the chapter and you should make a 45+/50 every time. If you do the tests early then the discussion questions are easier as well. I learned a ton from this class, and did not find it stressful at all!

Loved this class!!! Jill had a great way of incorporating everyday life into the class. Was funny & loves what she does. Study guides for all tests, very easy if you read the book or went to class. Some are complaining about the lack of her being "hands on" -this is an online class, meaning that this type of class is the furthest from being "hands on" as possible.

Took her online class. She was as hands on as an online teacher can be. Kept us up to date with emails. Gave short and sweet honest responses to projects, which (both the projects and her responses) is why I'd recommend this class. Class itself is basically weekly quizzes and a project every other week.

Very fun, helpful, knowledgeable. Interesting and useful class. Great learning atmosphere. Assignments are easy, but be aware that you also have to do a literature review, which is a lot of work! She will help you though, give advice, even find sources if you ask. Pick an interesting topic, and don't procrastinate, and you'll be fine.

She is very good and kind teacher. I took her online class, so you needed to read the book and did practice quiz. We had quiz every week, but it was easy if you studied. She is nice about project because we can choose which project we like to do from her list. Extra credit is very easy and it is worth as project (love her so much).

One of my favorite psychology teachers. She made class fun with videos and lectures. Though it did get dull at times (come in, turn out the lights, listen to teacher talk all class period), if you did well on the weekly quiz and studied for the exams, it's impossible not to do well!

I took this course online and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Jill manages to cram a lot of new knowledge into a few short weeks (I took this during the summer) with relatively little pain. Her expectations and instruction are clear and thorough. She's kind, funny, and quick to respond.

Dr. Seiver laysouts the course in easy to understand sections, you can print out the quiz at the begining of the week and keep it with you as you read your chapters. A study guide for the midterm and final are available at the beining of the quarter and spell out what you need to know. Great teacher!

She is one of the greatest teacher I ever had in B.C. Course is pretty simple if you fallow up, you will end up with an A. We did a total of five easy projects, 10 Quizzes and two midterms. Midterms and projects are straight forward, but quizzes are open book, so they are a little tricky, not hard though. She also gives credit credit opportunities.

Great teacher.Her presentations are lagely based on the book, and she gives test reviews so you can study prior to the midterm and final. If you go by the review form , you'll do great. If you keep up on the projects, which aren't hard, you'll do well for a grade

Jill Seiver is the best teacher I have ever taken at BC. She is so nice, funny, and smart. Her class is easy if you read the book and attendance is not mandatory. I definitely recommend everyone to take this professor. The fact that she's beautiful is also a plus.

(Human Sexuality)Im taking this class currently and really enjoying it. Her lectures and power points are interesting and you never feel like you being dragged by the neck. This class has 1 or 2 easy projects during the week and an exam every 2 or 3 weeks (she gives study guides) You will enjoy this class.

Took Jillene Seiver for Fundamentals of Psychological Research and it was an alright class. The topic is a complete bore, but she taught it decently. I did my own thing and got a pretty good grade on my paper and got a B+ in the class.

I recommend her. She is very clear when explaining things. If you don't like lectures don't take her class. There are 5 super easy and fun projects that you turn in online, 10 online (25 point) quizzes which are pretty easy. She has 2 midterms. The midterms are 50 questions and all multiple choice. To make it easier she gives study hints.

Jill Seiver is the best psychology teacher ever. She is very fun, caring, and helpful. She will answer any questions you have. I took her for psy 100 and 200 and was very pleased. Her lectures are not boring. She uses powerpiont, games, and also videos. You will ot fall asleep. Take her for any psy classes at BC!

Attended her online class. The workload was very high and required reading two chapters a week, watch her online lectures, and watch an online psychology video series. Her lectures were awesome and covered the majority of the text in the book. Her tests were extremely easy open book/hints. I would recommend!

Take it online and save your self the drive. Simply read the book, you can do the quiz as you read. 6 quizes, 3 small and simple projects, and two midterms. NO FINAL so thats a plus. As long as you read the text you cant go wrong. Plenty of Extra credit to help boost the grade too!

LOVE Jill. This is my second quarter with her, and I wouldn't want to be taking anyone else for a psychology class. I really like the way she teaches, which is highly a lecture environment, and it's also an easy class. I'm taking a hybrid class right now, so it's every other day. Only take her though if you really like a lecture environment.

SHE IS THE BEST ONLINE TEACHER YOU COULD EVER TAKE. She provides pre-recorded lectures that helped a lot. The book work was fair and the quizes and midterms were easy with some reading. You could easily pass a quiz without reading the book and just watching the lectures with the book to the side. I would defiantly take her class again.

She was amazing! This is my second quarter taking her and I've never had such a great teacher. She is so passionate about what she teaches and she is SO nice to her students and so understanding! She really cares and it makes you want to come and learn. Her lectures are long, but worth it! I regret missing any classes when I did. :)

Really enjoyable class! Very clear and organized. Not a lot of work, all the dates were set at the beginning of the quarter and never changed. There's 3 very short weekly assignments (take about 20 minutes max), 5 short and easy projects, and a final and midterm, both open book/notes (and she tells you exactly what to know for them!)

I took Jill at Pierce and the class was pretty easy. I didn't need to communicate with her very much seeing as it was online, but the material was informative and very clear. The class was pleasant to take. I would suggest taking her to any online student.

Tries hard to make the lectures and material more interesting with real life stories and videos. Gives hints for exams (all multiple choice). Individual projects alternated weeks with the exams. The final wasn't cumulative. Super nice and easy(:

Jill is very fun and her lectures are mostly powerpoint base. She gives great examples that relate to Lifespan Psychology. If you want to learn more about human development, take this class. It is a lot more interesting than it sounds and it is not super tough. Homework is easy and it is done through launchpad.

Dr. Seiver is the best! If you're a psyc major, take her classes. Her weekly article analysis is manageable and there's only a couple of tests which YOU MUST STUDY FOR. I recommend making study guides for each chapter hints she provides and prior to the exam, have her review your study guide so that you're game on for the test. It worked for me!

She's great, make sure you study for the tests and try to apply the concepts to real life. Her tip, read the text like it's interesting, that way you'll remember the material better! ive taken 2 classes from her so far and there's no attendance. BUT GO TO CLASS ANYWAY! because she explains the material better than students can make sense of it.

She is honestly amazing. All you do is take notes but she does them and tells stories that help you remember the stuff when it comes test time! There are a few extra credit things on Fridays! She is the best psych teacher i have had! If there is a seat open in her class i highly recommend taking her!

Jillene is easily my favorite teacher so far. Her class was interesting and really well organized. I never felt like I was overloaded with homework, though there is 2-3 weekly assignments. She sets each assignment due on a certain day, so you can't leave them all to the end of the week. Her study guides were really helpful. Taking Psych 200 next!

I was always interested in learning psychology, but Dr. Jill is beyond amazing.I didn't know what to expect when I signed up for her class, but she made it so interesting and fun. I looked forward to going to class! I often found myself discussing topics with my friends. She is such an excellent professor that I'm majoring in psychology.

Jill is such a chatterbox, which honestly kept me engaged and saved me from falling asleep in my 8:30AM class. The class is pretty demanding (with the paper and weekly exercisesreading assignments) but she will legitimately help you if you need help.

She is literally amazing. One of the best classes I have taken and Ive had some great teachers. Honestly, she's funny and she gives out a study guide for tests with a topic of EVERY SINGLE QUESTION. I actually learn too like its not just show up and pass. There is no attendance either so if youre sick a day it won't effect your grade at all

Dr Jill is the best teacher I have had. The lectures are interesting and I was not tempted to skip. Going to class was fun. The only homework assigned was due on each Monday, the consistency made it easy. All of the exams are multiple choice and straight from the textbook. She gives a study guide with everything you need to study and nothing more.

I love Dr. Jill! Her psychology 100 class was amazing! She makes the best study guides that will save your life for the test! As long as you study those you'll get an A in the class! She offers a ton of extra credit so if you take them you will get higher than 100% in her class. I got 101% because I did all the extra cred. She is awesome!

Dr J is an engaging lecturer. She is super clear and very much vested in the subject matter & her students. She's organized, very clear on expectations & grading criteria. She takes a Neuro-Cognitive Psych approach, which I find refreshing, while easily connecting the material to every day life. Tests can be tough, but are multi choice.

This is my 2nd class w Dr J. She gives many case studies, & projects, but they are all useful in learning the material for the test. She is super clear in her feedback, & gives ample opportunity for interesting extra credit opportunities. Took class online, but had her in Psych 100 in class, and I enjoyed her lectures too. Use ebook in launchpad.

I took 5 classes from her and she is my favorite teacher ever! She teaches so many subjects and has a great personality. Very nice, helpful, funny, witty, and just the best! Study for her tests, they're tough, and fill out the study guides and read the text, it's essential. Take her capstone, it's great!

This is a great, easy A class. Very clear and simple with an easy workload. Gives amazing study guides for tests. For homework, you can find answers online if you are unsure. There is absolutely no reason to fail this class! She gives tons of extra credit but i didn't even need to use it! Gives fun, short project papers assignments.

Professor Jill is a great teacher. Take notes in class, and use those and your textbook to help create study guides which she provides to give "hints" to students. Had 3 tests and a final, all which are fairly graded.

Dr. Jill is an amazing teacher! Her online Psych 200 class is very easy. She is very organized and her course work is fair. Every assignment is uploaded on Canvas for each week, homework is submitted through Canvas along with LaunchPad. You will need an access code in order to do the assignments on LaunchPad. She offers lots of extra credit.

Took her online Psych 100 class during summer and loved it. I didn't have to sacrifice ANY of my summer social plans since the workload was very reasonable and you could work ahead if you had to. You HAVE to use the textbook to read these long chapters (mandatory for an A) & check Canvas for anything due. Getting an A is doable! Just do the work.

I love this class! The homework was twice a week place an assignment to set you up for the paper! 6 week class cause I took it during the summer GREAT loved it!

Easy A. 1 case study every week & 1 project every other week. 2 midterms. Professor Seiver uses LearnSmart & had 3-8 activities (fairly easy yet time consuming) due Wednesday by midnight. You have to buy the online access/textbook but its worth it. Offers a fair amount of extra credit & is very open to questions and prompt to answering back.

At first I was really nervous about figuring out how an online class was going to be, but it ended up being amazing. She is very organized and clear about expectations, the assignment layout is consistent for the whole quarter. Only two tests the whole quarter and the study guide will guarantee you an A if you complete it before the 2 tests!

Jill knows her material. Two tests, both written in class. All class material is available from the first day, including study guides. One APA paper, which although terrifying at first, is a breeze once you start writing. Once a week easy homework. Her lectures can be hard to follow, but seriously, READ THE BOOK, it will be crucial for tests.

Took her online class through Pierce College. Easy class, 3 assignments a week and a midterm as well as a noncumulative final. No discussion boards. Provided study guides which were extremely helpful, especially for the midterm and final.

Attendance is not mandatory however, there are random assignments that are only given in class so that will hurt your grade. Class is out of 325 pts, 50 for demonstrations which are guaranteed if you come every day to class. 150 for exams which are easy due to the study guides. 125 is for the projects which are due every other week which are easy.

I don't think I would have learned as much if Dr. Seiver weren't as strict as she is. I am really thankful.

I loved taking Jill's class! She's an absolute gem in her video lectures; she makes the subject enjoyable. For the midterm and final, she prepares a study guide for you to work through. This class is was so well structured which is a really important factor for me. You always know what is expected of you. I also learned so much, and enjoyed getting to learn more and more every week.

Dr. Jill seemed very knowledgeable and approachable although I never talked to her during the course. The textbook is pretty outdated and not super interesting, but she has really good lectures. This class is very participation based, do the homework and it's an easy A.

I initially took her class as a filler one since I had no other choice but Dr. Jill is extremely engaging and makes all of her online lectures pretty interesting. Her class is also pretty damn easy and I managed to finish all of the assignments she offered within just 2 weeks and just showed up for the online lectures since they were intriguing.

Easy class overall all done outside of the Canvas assignment browser which makes it easy and simple to do. Never interacted with the professor but learned and got an A in the course!

I'd love to take another class from her! She was easygoing and I learned a lot from her class. She even gives you a template for each quiz so you can research the questions from the book so there's no test anxiety and you know what you'll be asked. The assignments were primarily reflection based and very straightforward. She's a great teacher!
