Bidlack is awesome. He has a great personality and always in a good mood. I love the stories and I had no problem understanding him. He is full of life and energy! I highly recommended him, if you want to learning Biology with a sense of humor!!

Dr.Bidlack was the reason I stayed awake during those night classes.He has so much energy and knows what he is talking about.He gives examples of old tests and it helps trememdously.

Study the old exams if you want to do well. He posts the answers to those exams on the Internet. Some of the questions are close to what is on the actual exam but beware because they are re-worded and you have to know your****.

He is fun, entertaining, and interesting! I had him for lab and his sense of humor made the time go by much faster! He really helps make sense of the labs and guides you through them.

Great prof!! Funny and a good teacher. Available and helpful. Tests challenging, but doable if you attend class and study the old exams that he makes available.

Biddy is funny and relates the material well. He deffinitly enjoys what he does,which helps to keep things positive so you are not dreading class everyday. His test are hard as hell, but if you apply yourself he is not going to give you an unfair grade. I would take him again.

Had Bidlack for lab and recommend him for anyone especially if you don't like science. He'll make lab fun and interesting and you won't want to fall asleep. Study old labs for the two tests and you're fine. Goes through labs with you and gives you the answers. Awesome lab professor!

A two hour class can be boring no matter how exciting it is. Biddy manages to combine lecture, quizes, movies, diagrams and props to entertain and educate a large clas.

He's fast, interesting, and full of stories. I like him alot :). Bidlack made the class worth going to. You have to take quizzes with a remote, but the same questions are on the exam. I'll probably get a B.

Bidlack is quite possibly the coolest teacher on the planet. He can be quite hard but will never pull stuff out of left field. Everything you need to know, he will tell you. Take Bidlack for any class you can.

Bidlack is funny as hell! The class was 2 hours long, but it didnt seem bad because he kept you entertained with stories and stuff. But dont be fooled, if you dont try in the class you will get nailed. Bring you remote and take the quizez and you'll be alright.

This class was a little challenging but very interesting class. There are quizzes but they are pretty easy and help your grade. His tests are a little hard but you get old exams to study from and he types up notes for you. Dr.Bidlack is a very nice person, and is willing to help you especially if you care about you grade. Great teacher, but hard. Be focus and a hard worker to recieve an A. He is understanding and fair, but only if you are fair with him. Test questions are MCAT questions. Advice: DONT MISS CLASS, notes are valuable. Lectures = 4 hours long, feels like 5, ouchie wooden chairs, but labs are fun and the music is amusing. It's a lovable class.

Fun teacher! Makes biology fun. You can buy his old tests @ the copy center and they help. He makes it interactive and fun.

By far the most amazing proffesor I have ever had!!!! I would take him again. You can buy all his old tests at the copy center, and he has like 5 websites that you can download his notes from. He also rewards the students that come to class by giving quizes, often with one question on them "are you here." An easy A that helps your grade!!

he gives $1 just answering or asking questions that are from the book (a reward for reading book is $1) he is freakin funny, he jokes sooo much which helps while attending a 2 hour class!

This class was two hours long! But I loved it. He is the best professor i have had at UCO! He actually makes biology fun. The tests are pretty hard and you have to show up to all of his classes and study but If you have the opportunity take him! I wish he offered more classes I was able to take. I would take another class in a minute.

Excellent teacher, make sure when you buy his old exams from the copy center you also read them carefully because pratically all his questions comes from those tests. He is very funny and makes biology very interesting he gave me a C but he is stil the best teacher ever.

Success Central would have been my least favortie class had it not been for Mr. Bidlack. He's very funny, and understands how tough things can get. If you have to take SC, he's probably the easiest while still making you work and learn. Great Guy.

He's funny, but his multiple choice exams can be hard. You have to go to class and use clickers if you want to do well. He's nice if you can find him in his office and his door has a lots of pictures of his wife and daughter, as well as George Bush (ugh!). The assistant for the class, Christina is really helpful. Good course

Dr. Bidlack is an awesome professor! However, don't let his goofy, laid-back attitude lull you into a false sense of security: his tests are very hard. Also, there are only 2 tests plus the final, so study well before any of the tests. Other points come from lab reports, a lab setup, and a presentation. He includes a lot of material about plants.

One of the best professors at UCO. He is caring, devoted, and has some of the best stories I have ever heard to help us remember things. Clickers are used in class, and they keep things alive.

Dr. Bidlack is precious. Very good teacher, and I feel he really cares. The way he explains things in detail really help me. I am the type of person that has to know why things work and how they work. Dr. B ALWAYS makes sure you understand. I love the music he plays during break, and I love how he doesn't put you on the "spot" like some profs.

Plant physiology: His class is very very funny!! I have never been such a awesome class! there are lots of mean bio class but, u can finally enjoy and learn stuff!Im int.student but he treat us evenly.assistant also great! Take this class! He will give u past Exam.

Cool teacher, multiple choice exams sort of difficult. Old exams very helpful. Teacher goes out of his way to make us understand.

His enthusiasm for not only plant physiology but for just teaching in general really draws you into the course material.This professor utilizes class time properly; as in any other college class,you must read,attend class regularly,and put forth your best effort and overall,you will make a decent grade. Would take from this prof. again.

Dr. Bidlack is a very good bio professor. He gives good resources to help you understand the subject matter. Although, don't expect an easy "A" you have to do your part and learn the material. He makes it easy to learn but this requires reading, studying, and coming to class! He has a passion for students to learn! A+ Professor!!

I have never met a man so dedicated to his job as this one. His class is fair, no homework, grades tests only, NO ATTENDENCE REQUIRED; but that?s the trick, he makes you want to come to class and usually has some lecture in his tests. He inspires people to change majors to BIO-LO-GEE.

Dr. Bidlack is one of the best. I have this class late at night and havent missed yet because its FUN. His stories keep you awake and he adds them in right when your getting sick of the 20th metabolic pathway covered that day. He is a good guy and I consider him a friend. Tests are hard but it is an upper level biology class... learned A LOT.

Bidlack is by far my FAVORITE professor ever!! He really cares about his students. Yeah his class is a bit difficult, but if you study like you should you will be fine. He is such a nice guy and will help you out a lot. I would DEFINATELY recommend his class, it's very very fun. I will miss him.

Bio, let's just say it's not everyone's cup of tea. This class was a bio class i actually was interested in going to because he turned my 2 hour class into something enjoyable. He is a very fun and kewl guy but don't think you can just study his old exams you have to study for his test they are not easy.

Great Biology teacher! Really knows his stuff and makes lecture fun! Attendance is not mandatory, but if you come to class you will do so much better on the tests because he gives you example questions right off the exams! Buy the old exams and study them along with the lecture notes. You don't even need the book. Keep it up, Dr. Bidlack!

He is a nice but its not an easy class. You really need to study the old tests and his lecture notes. He's a funny guy and you can get a lot out of this class if you work at it. If you're willing to work then take him, if not dont waste your time.

He is an awesome professor!! He tries to help anyone that needs it!! Dont buy your book! but do buy the old exam packets and print off all of his lectures!!!!! He hands you the A on a silver platter... you just have to learn the material to get the A!!! he is extremely ADHD but he is hilarious and makes you want to be in class!!

He does his best to keep the class interested but the 3 hour section gets kind of dry. If you study even a little bit you will pass, and more study equals better grade but the material isn't incredibly hard, but there is a lot of it.

Dr. Bidlack is such a great guy! Granted I didn't get the best grade in the class, I still really enjoyed listening to his lectures. He's like a little kid with ADHD, he's really funny! I definitely would recommend taking his class. As long as you study your notes and buy the old exams you will do well in the class.

Dr. Bidlack is absolutely the best biology professor at UCO. He is extremly helpful, and so passionate about what he's teaching. He explains everything in lots of ways to ensure you understand it. You'll work for your grade, but his class was a joy!

Mr. Bidlack has his act together. He knows what he's teaching, keeps things fun, and I learned more than I thought I would. Even though I am not a biology major, this is the most worthwhile class I have taken in college. Wish I had majored in biology and had taken all his classes. Rock on, Bidlack!

The best BIO Prof. you can take, study the old exams and you will do great. I am still in class with the final to go. So 4 tests and 1 final. AND he gives you answers to exams and final if you goto class.

Bidlack is a great person. He's funny and intertaing. But it is a 2 hour biology class. He tries his hardest to keep your attention but sometimes it's impossible. His gives the old tests with answers to study. AND YOU HAVE TO STUDY! The test are easy if you study. He gives out legitimate test questions and answers. Go to class, study the old tests.

AMAZING!Very solid teaching methodology. You will get at least a high C on every test if you study the test prep packet and attend most of the lectures. Hes is to sweet! He wants you to learn and come to class. If you go to class he will give you exact test questions that will be on the test. you will need to study those and study the test packet. He will allow you to record him reading the test questions. if you do that and study the test packets you will for sure get an A.

To make things pretty simple, I have probably actually gone to class MAYBE half the time, and I have gotten an A on all my tests so far. Write down the questions he gives you in class, and go over the previous tests online..SO SIMPLE. His tests are nearly word for word from his old ones...you have to try and fail in this class almost. TAKE HIM!!!

But he loves what he is teaching and actually knows what he is talking about so it is worth putting up with. ATTEND CLASS!! Exams are 100% lecture based so if you miss classes you will miss points.

Bidlack is a rock star. He tries to make the class fun and make you enjoy it. The tests are easy if you study and go to class. All the test material comes from lecture, so it's helpful to attend. You don't have to intend class. I skipped a few times haha. To pass his tests take the ones that are online and study from them. i had a lot of fun in the class and makes the class fun and lively so you won't fall asleep.

Favorite professor so far! Only 4 exams and a final. He gives several test questions each class, so do not skip! He also lets students study the old exams, which he uses many of those same questions. He is a very entertaining teacher but not a big fan of the way he teaches. Only 5 test so if you dont like homework he is the right teacher. To many things to study from but his past study tests are probably the best.

Bidlack gives lectures that are entertaining and informative. His stories helped me relate to the topics and he had lots of examples for applied plant physiology. I most definitely learned alot and actually liked it. We even danced in class - something I never thought I'd do in a science class. He's pretty hip. I'd take him for anything.

Awesome professor! He's really excited about teaching, and tries to get to know every student (all 105 of us). Tests are moderately hard but he explains things very well. We get extra credit and breaks during our lectures.

Dr. Bidlack is easily my favorite teacher I've ever had! You could not show up and still pass the class because he puts up old exams on his website that are very similar to the ones he gives now. You should go to class though because he gives you lots of exam question throughout lecture and really makes class interesting. PS don't buy the textbook.

The only thing I didn't like about my class, was that I did TR so it was just a really long class and I really don't like long classes, but he still made it very interesting and very easy to follow. Dr. Bidlack is one of the most amazing professors for Plant anatomy or physiology. He knows the subject isn't the most interesting, but he makes it super easy to learn and you will definitely stay awake during his class. Not showing up for class is about the only sure fire way to fail.

Bidlack is a wonderful professor. In my general biology class he would give exact exam questions, almost all of them for every exam. I received high A's on all exams. There are only 4 of them, but he offers extra credit throughout semester. Attendance is not taken, but come to class for exam questions. They are life savers. He is so fun, take him!

This has honestly been one of my easiest classes I have taken my freshman year. He gives 4 exams and a final. I received A's on all of his exams easily. During lecture he provided the class with the questions and answers to 90-95% of the exam. If you show up and write down the questions and study them on some flash cards then you've got an easy A.

Dr. Bidlack was my favorite professor this semester. He really wants every one of his students to succeed. He is very charismatic and downright hilarious. There was never a dull moment in his classroom. He gives you nearly every test/question so GO TO CLASS. Would recommend to anyone!

Summer General Biology Class has insanely long lectures (4 hours). But Bidlack kept things pretty upbeat with dancing, disco lights, and funny stories. Worth taking if you want to get biology over with in just a month.

This prof is amazing. Just show up, write down and record the answers to the tests that he gives out each day, study these, and pass with and easy A.

I really hated biology and was dreading taking it before I took this class. Bidlack is one of the best professors I have had at UCO and he makes bio really tolerable. He is always willing to answer questions and gives study guides and lecture notes that basically make it impossible to fail his exams. Plus he gives extra credit. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!

Makes the lectures interesting. Has amazing stories and examples. He uses pasts tests to make up current tests that you can find on his website, so all you have to do is study those with notes also found on his website and you'll do great!

He's really strange but class was easy. You can study previous exams he offers. Your grade relies on your exams. He also lets you take a peek of many questions from the future exams. I stopped going to class though except test days since my classmate took pictures of test questions for me. He uses his personal experience to teach his lectures too.

Bidlack is nice when addressing the class but less so one on one. Study the old tests and go to class. In class he gives test questions and those are vital, the old tests give you a lot of answers but not a lot. His class is pretty entertaining so get the test questions and study old tests and you'll be in good shape.

This class should be called biology motivation because that's alot of what we did. I learned more than I thought I would and some of the stories were pretty funny. I probably went to class to watch the music videos and listen to stories, but ended up learning alot about stuff like photosynthesis, how my body works, and a bunch of ecology.

He is so funny and caring. If you are looking for a bio professor he is the one to take. He has practice test online and 98% of the questions are on his in class test. He also gives test answers during some classes so show up! He is so fun you will enjoy his class and want to go.

Bidlack exceded all of my expectation for him! So incredibly caring and funny. the only downside is that I feel like I didn't learn anything...I got above 90 in all of my tests but I cant tell you anything else in confidence beside DNA---RNA--- PROTIEN... amazing teacher nonetheless!!

Wow, Bidlack is amazing and gives easy extra credit. :,) Loved him from the first day of class when he brought out the fog machine and disco balls. 11/10 would take again.

Bidlack is pretty good and his lectures are probably the most organized of the classes I had. His exams are right from lecture and, if you pay attention, you will get a good grade. This is the first class I have ever had in which the labs always worked. He finally remembered everyone's name by the end of the semester.

HE is Very Funny, Hilarious, Inspirational and Easy Grading Criteria. If you ask him about his student named MD, He will absolutely recognize you.

Dr. Bidlack is incredible! He's hilarious and tells a lot of stories. The only complaint I have is that he could do away some of the stories he tells, they don't even pertain to the lecture. But, he always gives test questions each lecture. While attendance is not mandatory, GO because he gives out questions and answers for the test. Easy A!

Professor Bidlack is the best professor I had this semester! Show up to class and he gives you the questions and answers to the exams. He tells many hilarious stories and makes class interesting. Take him for General Biology!

Bidlack is probably one of the best professors I've ever had. Classes weren't mandatory, but I actually WANTED to show up to class because he made it fun and entertaining. I wasn't interested in Bio before his class, but he made it easier to comprehend and much more interesting.

This is a class that I actually liked. The labs were the best part and we finished that part of the class early. Lectures were so damn organized that I could understand the material. Exams were intense and pretty much everything we learned - and very long. Bidlak is a goofball but he knows what he is talking about. He's brilliant.

I could not love this professor more! He truly cares about each and every one of his students! If you come to class daily, he gives you test questions and answers. Basically show up, pay attention, study the answers he gives you and you'll get an easy a!

He made my most hated class in high school become my favorite class in collage so far. Show up to class and he sets you up to with work get A. Grading is only for tests, but he gives you a fun chance to make extra credit. He teaches what you need to know and makes class super-fun To Bidlack, keep extra credit the same it was fun and made me learn.

Yes the class is a long lecture but he makes it very entertaining. He uses disco lights and music to keep the students awake. He is a great professor and cares about his students. He makes it easy for the students to pass by giving example questions for the test and provides old exams for practice. Its a very good class and a great professor.

He talks all throughout the lecture but he includes personal stories that are funny. You don't have to show up to class but I would recommend to show up because he gives exam questions that will be in the exams and he also provides packages of old exams, makes it easier for students to pass.

I worked my butt off and got an A. It's a long class ( 3 hour lectures and 3 hour labs) but his stories are so funny, they helped me stay awake and learn. The project, which is basically taking detailed microscope pictures and labeling them, is alot better than doing term papers. Wish he taught more of my classes. Bidlack for President!

Lectures are done in class. He gives you ideas of what will be on the test and its pretty similar. There are only 5 test and he does offer one option for extra credit. Showing up to class is not mandatory but would recommend if you want to make an easy A in the class.

One of the most genuinely intelligent, kind, and interesting people Ive ever met. The stories from the class help you to relate material to real life. Such a fun environment while learning at the same time. Dr. Bidlack is such a fun guy and I highly recommend him.

He's without a doubt one of the best professors I've ever had. His lecture style is entertaining with TONS of funny stories related to the material, as well as great life lessons. He's a professor that you can tell really cares about his students and their education which is a rarity. He's undeniably kind and an overall good dude. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bidlack is THE BEST professor at UCO. He sets you up for success on every test as long as you attend lecture and study. He gives you actual test questions and answers before the exam, and provides you with 4 practice exams. He is a great professor, but also a great person. He also works well with schedule conflicts in one occurs. TAKE BIDLACK!!

I am in my senior year of college and I have to say that Prof Bidlack was my favorite professor of all time! I took him my sophomore year and I still look back and laugh. He makes biology interesting and fun for ALL of the students. The tests weren't easy but if you study, it isn't extremely difficult. He makes learning fun. I wish all prof did.

does not take attendance, however if you don't go you miss out on getting questions and answers straight from your test. for all of the test I only didn't now 4-5 because he gives you all of them.

Dr. Bidlack was my favorite professor of the semester. He is so entertaining and charismatic in lectures, his stories really give meaning to the concepts he covers. Mr. Bidlack is awesome! He is a super intelligent and hilarious professor. Attendance is not required or even necessary. However, all grades come from tests. It requires a lot of studying! He does offer an extra credit project at the end of the semester that is worth a lot of points!

This is a science class I actually liked. The stories kept me awake and I looked forward to lectures. Just take good notes, listen, and learn. You will do well.

Prof Bidlack is super nice and funny. His exams are not the easiest, but you can use Google. I hardly went to class and got a 95 on almost every exam. He assigned 5 exams - the first 4 exams were 4 pages long (he gave you 4 questions and you had to write a page for each) the final was just 1 page of what you have learned. If you try you'll pass.

very fun professor! he tries to keep students entertained throughout the 2 hour lectures. he always tries to engage with all students and attendance is not required. the essay exams do take a while to write but they are pretty easy. i didnt have to try that hard and still made 94+ on all four exams

Dr. Bidlack is a solid professor with the hopes to have everyone in his class to pass. He is a great guy with an awesome personality. Definitely would take one of his courses again.

Bidlack is an amazing guy and has taught this class for a long time. He's old school and writes alot on the blackboard. Tells stories that kept me awake. Probably the most clear and straightforward of professors I've taken. Go to class, listen, take notes, and you will get a good grade. Wish he taught more upper division classes like this.

Dr Bidlack stated at the beginning attendance was necessary. His lectures were very detailed, and each successive lecture was based on previous lectures. I would give him five stars for keeping the class engaged and participation.

Dr. Bidlack is the best professor I have ever worked with. He does not use the book. He has his own website that he lectures from and has old exams to study from. He will read a few exam questions daily before class lets out. He makes sure you are prepared and know what is on the exam. It takes a beat to get used to him but AMAZING professor!

He goes further into depth than needed but he just loves biology. Go to classes because he will give you exam questions at the end of each class!

Go to class, he gives 1/3 of the exam questions to you! 1st exam is the hardest but its not so bad if you go to class. Speak your mind! He let us do open note/google because a student asked to lol. He loves participation & banter. He will call on you but he tells you the answer to the questions he asks. Amazing professor. Couldnt recommend more!

He gives you the test answers during lecture and the practice exams are on his website which use the same questions as on the exam. He is a great professor and you will for sure get an A in the course if you listen to his instructions.

Professor Bidlack is definitely wacky, but in an amazing way. He is very interesting and will keep you paying attention. He loves to involve the students by making them examples. Only thing to beware of is your only grades are the exams and two projects. But overall AMAZING!!!

He's better than most. Has his own Website with practice exams. If you go to class, you will be entertained, but be prepared to take lots of notes if you want to pass. You will need to do a music video and write a paper and there are 5 exams. I stayed awake in class and ended up liking Biology.

I'm probably going to get a B in Biology. This is a fast moving class and there are 5 exams. Thankfully, there's a creative project and a writing assignment which helped my grade. Bidlack has his own website, which is easier than D2L and has outlines of lecture notes. There are old exams and they helped alot.

As someone who didnt learn a single thing in high school bio, Dr. Jim/James Bidlack was an awesome professor! He makes the class entertaining even though lectures were heavy & fast paced, I learned a lot about biology. He gives out some questions and answers to help you prepare with the exams, 1 creative project and 1 writing assignment. Take him!!

Bidlack is truly amazing! I found his class easy if you paid attention, took notes, and actually went to class! He is hilarious and very entertaining! He is the definition of a crazy scientist, but he's super funny. He gives you the answers on the tests and gives you time to do the two projects. I WOULD RECOMMEND SITTING NEAR THE CHALKBOARD. he likes to draw a lot of diagrams and stuff.
