He is very confused. He also seems very nervious when you question his grading........Try not to take him, he dont know to teach.

i don't like him at all. he teaches in a manor that is confusing and is just so boring that its hard staying intrested in his classes.

Nice man, but puts questions on the tests that we did not go over in class. In fact, it had nothing to do with the chapter we were being tested on. You tell me how that is fair.

One word sums him up; CREEPY! Besides that he is a very bad teacher. I'm nut sure what he is trying to pull, but he claims he is trying to give us the best class possible, & he has failed miserably. Like other comment, he has very hard tests, questions that aren't in text on test, definitions, has stupid analogies, and is short & fat. Don't take!

Oh were to begin??? Basically, the laziest/worst teacher I've ever had, and I've had some really bad teachers. He is a disgrace to the profession, and needs to be fired. Oh and he looks eerily similiar to Ron Jeremy.

Don't take this class. This teacher sucks. He is Lazy and not organized. He doesn't even bring anything to class, and doesn't even know what chapter ur on. His tests are hard and he gives quizes after each class giving u only 5 minutes to complete them. and it screws up ur grade. He doesn't give notes!!

Dont take this teacher. hes a disgrace, not well organized, confusing. he goes off subject while in class, he talks about his family life that we all dont care about and he doesn't help at all.

not a good professor because he would get off topic and we would fall behind chapters in the book then he would tell us to "teach the missing chapters over the weekend" he would not cover things in class and then put them on the final class was poorly run and therefore approx 80% of class dropped or was not attending by the day of the final

He does not know how to explain anything, he thinks because he gets it that you will too. If you have a hard time with math DO NOT take 0481 or 0482 with him.

He doesn't explain the math well, he skips steps when you are first learning, so if you are good at math, you could probably pass with him. but if you are like me(bad at math) you won't understand him and probably won't pass. his test are also so hard, you have 50 minutes to take them, and then you have 25 problems all with A,b and C.

He does not give notes,he just talks and has you read directly from the book. I need to see examples worked through to understand math. He has no lesson plan each day, lacks any structure/organization to class that students need. Not organized. Nice man, but a bad teacher. I recommend taking Math 2232 with Stack, he is much clearer!

hmm ..another comment by Bradley. What a surprise! Ive noticed that only the bad teachers look up their ratings on this website. However, the phenominal teachers not once look at this website. I graduate in a month. I have a 4.0gpa this semester..and I have had some of the smartest professors who have enlightened me so much..but def. not Bradley!

this guy is a terrible teacher. he puts others down and makes up his own formulas to problems that are never correct. He never stayed on topic and degrated the faculty and students there in class almost everyday

Most degrading teacher in this school. Expects you to have top of the line programs, doesn't explain the math, and doesn't care about his students. He is extremely rude and unhelpful. If you ask him questions he will look at you like you are mentally challenged. Good or bad at math, do not take him!!!!!

I have taken many math courses during the course of my life, and I can without a doubt say this was the worst teacher I have ever had to deal with. His tests are extremely difficult, to the point of having to take them out of class, because people don't finish. Studying will not help you on these either. Take this class and have fun failing.

Literally the WORST teacher i have ever had in my life. I read reviews about him before I took his class and just chose to ignore them, but DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. He is so disorganized, never comes prepared or even know where we are, makes you take quizzes and tests outside of class then NEVER PUTS THEM IN THE TESTING CENTER. worst teacher at cod.

Professor Bradley lectures are extremely easy, but when it comes to the tests and quizzes they are nearly impossible. Do Not Take Him he is the absolute worst math teacher at college of dupage. And don't be fooled by good reviews on rate my professor that is him gloating about himself. Trust me i got tricked by it and dropped after the first quiz.

By far the worst math teacher I've had. So much so, this is my 2nd post. He does an awful job at explaining the material and goes over subjects that are so far out of the curriculum that Industry engineers would struggle. I'm taking the same class at my University and the things I'm learning make my jaw drop because of how bad he described it.

i won't say much about professor Bradely, but if you find calculus 2231 difficult believe me do not take it. He helps you alot but his tests are so tough that he some times skips grading questions because everybody fails to solve them. Take it if you can work on your own otherwise trust me and find a better professor.

Mr. Bradley is a terrible teacher! He spends all class period trying to make helpful world application apologies that have nothing to do with actual math problems. His stories are very interesting so that being said I think he's in the wrong department. He should be an English teacher. His tests are impossible and makes ppl answer random questions.

This was by far the worst class that i have ever attended. Spent most of the class reading slides word for word. Very little explanation on equations. Little to no direction on what we were doing. Unless you want to teach yourself EVERYTHING!!! do not take him. Also decided 3/4 way through the class that he would teach us from another book.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. Here's why: 1.) Over half of the class dropped. 2.) Nearly half of the remaining few were failing. 3.) No direction/homework given. 4.) Pitiful ways to save a student from failing. 5.) Hardest tests I've ever taken Repeated calc 1 and got A's on everything because I took a TEACHER. You have been warned.

Not even half way into the semester and this teacher is awful. Im already failing and math is my strong subject. He does NOT teach you anything. Gives in-class quizzes that aren't on topics covered. Tests are different then material. Only points given are quizzes, midterm and final. Makes each student answer a question/read something. AWFUL!!!

Terrible Professor. Relies on ALEKS to keep us busy and set a minimum of 75 active hours using it in order to get a C. Goes around calling on every student in order every day to answer questions he doesn't teach us how to solve. I knew I was bad at math to begin with, but this class was so discouraging. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Signed up for classes super last minute and did not realize that checking rate my professor may have been a good idea at the time. This was one of the hardest classes Ive ever taken and Im generally good at math. He gave us mini daily quizzes that dropped a lot of our grades and most of the questions that were on the tests he did not go over.

Awful teacher. He literally does not teach anything. The quizzes, which we have to take on our own time, are not even on the material that he "goes" over in class. The midterm and the final are the only grades that matter for him. I do not recommend him, as you will find yourself teaching the material to yourself.

Bradley is a nice person, but not as a teacher. Class is based on two major exams ie midterm & final. Not hard materials, but IS hard and confusing to learn because of teacher's lectures. Go to tutoring for help on the materials, but don't skip lectures and stay for the whole class period if you want a chance to pass the class. No extra credits.

He doesn't teach. He makes you watch videos at home and sometimes puts videos on in class instead of just teaching it himself. He is the only math teacher to put in QUIZZES in the testing center-making you have to go in every week-it's stressful because there's little time to prepare. Horrible. Makes it impossible to learn and impossible to test. Makes a big deal out of not wasting our money yet that's exactly what he does. The tests reflect nothing we've learned in class and the lectures are confusing. Also does not assign homework but implies we should do it??? Like aren't you the teacher?

He assigns 4 quizzes and 2 exams, final will be grade awarded, so teach YOURSELF everything because he does a poor job doing so to prepare you for the tests he gives, class material does not transfer to exam content. Most students dropped, remaining have C's or D's, unless retaking the course. Doesn't really use the book, no homework; selfstudy.

He is not a bad person, but he is the worst teacher I've ever had. Telling you the general rules to follow for some sort of problem is one thing. But the quizes and tests are nothing like what is covered in class. Things are unorganized, and it doesn't help that half of the answers in the back of our textbook were not always correct!

This guy might be one of the nicest profs I have ever had, but he is one of the worst mentors. He goes over the most basic problems in class, but in the quizzes, you have to know multivariable algebra. Each quiz takes at least an hour and a half to complete, so it's basically a test. Get ready to stare at the textbook for hours together by yourself

Honestly, might be the worst teacher Ive ever had. Goes on wild tangent stories taking away from valuable learning time. Also, we are supposed to be learning how to actually solve problems. Bradleys way of teaching and reviewing is here is the problem, here is the answer, you figure out how to do the work. I dont have time for that.

If you are reading this review, you have most likely seen others on this page. I can confirm every single review is true in the sense that I have never been "taught" by such an incompetent "teacher". I understand times are hard, however Jim/Patrick fails to form complete sentences, is unclear in grading criteria, and cannot teach. This is a warning

College of DuPage should be ashamed to have hired professor Bradley. His emails and lectures are always late, provides very little clarification on content, and he is always off topic. His exams are one of the hardest I've taken and of course no study guides or practice problems are provided. Should you be unfortunate enough to have him, good luck

What a waste of a summer. Do yourself a favor and get a competent Professor. Withholds grades, responds late to emails, claims to be empathetic yet fails to accommodate students taking a hard class online. The fact that COD accepts this kind of "teaching" is unacceptable. $600 down the drain. Nice guy but has no business teaching a classroom.

What kind of a monster goes AWOL for a week and then swoops in and drops 48 videos over the course of 2 weeks just before the final. Horrible and unclear explanations. Exams are 2/3rd of grade, and 3 hws make the remaining 1/3rd. Basically you mess one up, you're done for. If I ever hear the phrase "you know to do" again, my head will explode.

Nice guy but does not know how to teach a course. Lectures are just PowerPoints of textbook screenshots; no worksheets, no study guides, no answer keys. You are basically given nothing but rushed notes, so youre forced to teach yourself. I aced precalc in 10th grade, so it was discouraging to struggle in what was supposed to be a refresher course

DO NOT TAKE. Listed as Patrick Bradley at COD. I'm experienced; he's the worst I've had. Classmates agreed they were teaching themselves because he was no help. For lecture he just read from a textbook. Didn't answer emails. Didn't grade homework promptly. Cut off student questions. Rambling responses. Sometimes antagonistic. Oblivious.

DO NOT TAKE THIS SUMMER COURSE, all he does is talk about random stories and goes through slide lectures and just expects you to understand it. There was no study guides for the test, I had to rely on a teacher assistant, andI understand it's a hard and fast paced college course, but if I had him during the spring or fall I would still be annoyed.

He shows 50+ slides with so many different equations that he doesn't even give us that much time to reinforce with practice problems. With every examples it's either hit or miss as he will say to take a minute to try it and then proceeds to show the solution and just zooms by. He says how the college cut out time but he wastes so much time in class

Dont take this prof unless youre good at self teaching, he rushes through presentations, gets off track often, and barley gives any homework to assess if we even know what we are doing, everything is midterms and final heavy. And he teaches from the book.

Very hard to keep up in his class because of the long slideshows that make you more confused than you already are. Tests are difficult and you must make sure to go to your TA for the study group as this is crucial to pass the class at a bare minimum. Obviously you need to study but his teaching put all the work on you to learn. Stressful class

Dif Eq Summer 2023 DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR, all he does is talk about random stories and goes through slide lectures and just expects you to understand it. There was no study guides for the test, I had to rely on a TA, and he said he would not put a curve in and the school FORCED him to put a curve in so that entire class wouldnt fail. 0/10

Always cut me off when talking and would speed through solving equations. Even though he's more experienced than me in math, doesn't mean that he shouldn't show his work and explain it bc how can you expect students to show their work when you can't do the same??

- Never grades homework. I have stuff from August (it's December) that hasn't been graded. - Don't bother to email the guy, he won't respond. I've emailed him multiple times this semester and he has never once responded. - No opportunities for points, only grades final & midterm. - Changed final grade policy a week before w/ no announcement.

Do me a favor and just don't even waste your time thinking about picking this professor for ANY OF YOUR MATH CLASSES TRUST! feels like his getting paid cause of us! felt like i was taking a reading class beside a math class! the class is easy can't lie but depends on professor! take this message as a god given sign and just don't take this class!!

Professor Bradley is a very knowledgeable guy but I don't think his strengths lie in teaching mathematics. Nearly my entire class felt as if the final exam was going to be impossible given how almost no one got even a passing grade on the midterm. He had to bend the rules and essentially void the midterm grade to keep people from dropping.

I understand discrete mathematics is hard but there's a difference between showing and teaching. Reading from the textbook doesn't help me understand abstract concepts. He will make you read theorem and correct you on how to say it, but never teaches you what they mean. Professors should break heavy topics into understandable pieces. AVOID

This professor wastes an inordinate amount of class time by ranting, telling stories that do not relate to the subject matter at all. His demeanor while teaching is rude, derogatory, and abrasive. The atmosphere he creates in his class is not conducive to learning at all, as he essentially ridicules you if you're wrong about anything.

Professor Bradley honestly, is not a great teacher. Be ready to learn all the material yourself, his lectures consist of him just repeating the questions and calling on everyone to answer, if you get it wrong or don't know how, he will call you out. Honestly don't recommend this professor.
