He teaches as if you know it or should be able to find it out for yourself. You will learn a lot even if you don't realize it while you are in his class.

If you like biology and grasp concepts easily you will learn a lot.

He is hard, he does not coddle, he expects you to spend 6 to 8 hours a week studying outside of class and makes that clear. Tests over material not lectured on, makes that clear at the begining too. Has no tolerance for stupid questions. Very Fair.

Dr. Crimando is a great teacher and it is unfortunate that there are bad reviews about him. These reviews probably come from students who did poorly in his class. He IS a hard teacher but you actually learn something in his class. He doesnt tolerate slackers or whiners- neither of which you should be in the medical field. You WILL learn from him!

Dr. Crimando is GREAT!! As long as you take GOOD notes, READ the chapters and STUDY you will be fine. His tests can be kind of tricky so understand the material thoroughly!! I Got an "A" in his class this summer and learned a lot!!! He does NOT intimidate people who ask questions, he just doesn't like people who are UNPREPARED and ask questions!!

Good Professor. Teaches very clearly. Doesn't coddle people who don't belong in college. You WILL learn in his class. I got a B and I earned it - No gifts. I needed this class for my nursing degree and I'm taking 202 with him now. Great teacher.

Dr. C is an awesome teacher!! He makes you work for the answers and doesn't give you everything on a silver platter but if you take what he says, review the book and use the DVD that came with the book, you are set. I will miss him, his power points and his very helpful review website!

Professor Crimando really knows the material he is teaching, but is quite temperamental. Don't be surprised if he randomly freaks out at a student, but overall good teacher. Personally, would not take him again if I had the choice.

He is a no nonsense type of guy. He'll answer your questions, but only if they are brilliant. If its a slight no brainer question, he won't help you. He's kind of got a temper, but the quiet type of temper. HE KNOWS HIS STUFF. Just do the crosswords, and the lab pages, and study them for the tests. READ the book and do the online tests/tutorials!

I really enjoyed this class. I earned an A. But it was a LOT of work. This material is tough but he offered a variety of tutorials, online info, study guides, and vocabulary lists. I found him funny and helpful, but you really have to work at this. This is not an easy A course nor will you pass for just showing up. Prepare to work hard!

He has is own website with diagrams. outline of each chapter (helpful outline of what should be known), his power points, practice questions, and the homework assignments. Not much homework. But, I can assure you that if you attend class, and pay attention to what he is asking for that you can get a B. If you make this class part of your life everyday you can get an A. Dr. Crimando is an interesting person, but don't let his uninterested attitude scare you off. He provides Very Helpful resources on his website and vocab guides. Do those and you'll be fine! Dr. Crimando has been an amazing professor for BIO201. He gives you all of the tools you need to succeed. He makes his lectures interesting and occasionally tells a funny joke or story. His tests are difficult but as long as you attend lecture and lab and go over your notes you should do well. He creates his own Quizlets which are also helpful.

Dr. Crimando was my 1st College Biology Prof. The material is dense if you are new to the world of Biology. The Lectures and labs are very interesting and Dr. Crimando has a passion for teaching-the material is also organized nicely. I would recommend him to my peers.

Had this instructor in Fall '15. Material was dense and rigorous. You will struggle if you just show up to lectures and expect to breeze through. You will need to apply yourself outside of class. I learned a ton! I'd sign up for additional classes with him.

He's very passionate about anatomy. He provides a lot of resources to help with the material. You have to apply yourself, it's not an easy class by any means. I learned a lot from his teaching. He lets you drop your lowest test and quiz grade. I just wish he used canvas.

Crimando is a great teacher. Lecture was easy, LAB WAS THE HARDEST. He would go over the slides, or point out the bones/muscles, but then the rest of lab was self-study. Not completely horrible, I just wish there were more exercises in-lab. JUST BE READY TO STUDY (obvi). I failed, unfortunately, taking again. Lab was what I failed, lecture passed.

Straight forward and concise with the lessobs. Whatever he went over in class will be the material on the exams, just be sure you understand the concept. Take advantage of the extra credit given throughout the semester, it adds up. Drops one lecture exam. Lab was difficult, its all self study. Highly recommend his class.

Dr. Crimando is tough, and for a lot of people he can be very sarcastic and intimidating. that said, he's actually a good professor, and if you put in the work he will help you. He can be strict, but he enjoys the subject and is very knowledgeable.

He teaches the course in an excellent way, in both lab and lecture. His explanation of his lecture slides is easy to follow and take notes from, and he explains things clearly in lab and offers help if we're confused.

I loved how Dr. Crimando was so organized with when assignments were due and test were taken. There were never any surprises. We always knew what we'd be tested on and he provided endless study resources. STAR was one of the great resources. He gave lots of extra credit opportunities throughout the semester which was very helpful.

Dr. C is the most passionate and caring professor I have ever had. This class is hard and does require a lot of time. I had him for both 201 and 202 and got over a 100% in both semesters. Tests are hard and lectures are long and dense, BUT you can use multiple of his other resources to be sure you succeed.

This class was the hardest thus far! But Dr.C is an amazing instructor, he gives you all you need to be successful, it's up to you to take it all in, a lot of material, and requires a lot of study time, but it is possible. He makes the class fun and is pretty funny. I am definitely taking him for BIO202! You will not regret taking him for A&P

I took Dr. C for BIO201 and I'm currently taking him again for BIO202. He is an amazing professor. He explains the material in a way that is easy to understand. I didn't find this class to be hard but it is very demanding. If you do not put in the time and work you will not do well.

If you like a Prof. who's caring, outgoing, organized, has great presentation & comm. skills, then look no further. He wants you to succeed! He's outstanding at making a touch subject easy to learn. To get an A in this class, you must put in the time to memorize all vocab and anatomy pics along with learning how to correctly spell parts of anatomy!

If you do the work as instructed, you'll do fine. Lectures are well done and entertaining, in my opinion, and sim-ply doing the weekly assignments, which are repeatable, plus the lectures will prepare you well for the exams. There is a lot of work compared to other classes by other instructors, but there are also ample extra credit opportunities.

Definitely NOT an easy class, requires a LOT of time and studying. Lecture videos were VERY informative and fun, sometimes he would add humor in there which I enjoyed. Practicals were a little trickier because you were kind of on your own with a whole list. Overall, prof did a great job and I actually enjoyed the class despite how hard it was.

This was definitely a hard class, I am not going to lie. Be ready to study, study, study. I took this class online and passed with a B. Each week you usually have 2/3 PowerPoint lectures to listen to along with homework-quizzes to do. I recommend making sure you set time aside each week to study your material. You can do it!

For lecture he gives video lectures, hw quizzes & quizlets. Labs are handouts for an external anatomy website. Has extra credit. He gives everything you need to pass the PROCTERED exams, so you just need to study seriously. Bio is a hard class in general so expect to be putting in a lot of time to study. Also offers free tutoring and live lectures.

I took (2) 5 week online classes with him during the summer. Bio 201/202. His Canvas is so neat, organized, and has EVERYTHING you need. He is funny and video lectures are informative. If you are dedicated to doing the work, you will be successful in his class. The honor system is important to him and I respect that. Such an awesome instructor!

Awesome teacher. If you put in the work you will get an A. If you procrastinate at all you will not do well he is upfront about this. He drops your lowest lab and lecture score. Once you learn his style it's a breeze but can't stress enough you have to invest your time! Loved his class so much immediately got his bio 202 class when classes opened.

Best teacher I've ever had! I learned a ton in his class. Lectures are interesting and sprinkled with humor. You can repeat quizzes for a better grade up until each deadline, which takes the pressure off and makes it easier to use them to gauge how well you've learned the material. Highly recommend.
