DO NOT TAKE HIM. He is the worst professor I have taken at BU. He only discusses how to be a spokesperson, not all of the other important aspects of crisis PR, and repeats the most obvious of concepts for three hours straight. Literally every class is the same and bores you to tears. He has no idea what he is talking about

Grasso is hands down the worst professor I have ever had at BU. This is the most unorganized and frustrating class. He teaches the same one concept over and over again, changes the syllabus each meeting and changes criteria for assignments every 20 minutes, then grades them with no rhyme or reason-- and this is coming from an A student.

Professor Grasso devotes quite a bit of time to theory in the beginning of Managing Corporate Crisis; however, he's one of the best professors in the college because of the on-camera interviews later in the course. These allow you to quickly address points of improvement in public relations. He's terrific and I unreservedly endorse the class.

It's hard and he puts you on the spot- I made the mistake of taking this class as a Sophomore with not a lot of experience in actual PR other courses, internships. Taking Prof. Grasso's class was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had at Boston University. He structures his class around working at a real world agency, and even had us work with a real world client throughout the semester. He values active participation, and respects students who apply themselves. This is an absolute must-take class.

I have taken Professor Grasso's classes for two consecutive semesters. His teaching is focused on having his students get experienced with real-life cases. He sometimes had a real client so that we can actually work with the client to prepare his or her plans. Plus, having a real-life situation interview is the best!

Worst professor I've had at BU. Never written a review before but felt compelled to warn people that his rating is in no way accurate. He goes on extremely long tangents about his personal life, is very politically incorrect and outright rude, brags about who he knows, and repeats the same information/stories class after class. Absolute headache.
