Mr. Roberts was definately my favorite teacher this semester. He is willing to stay after class to answer any questions you might have, and his online parts of the course are very easy to follow.

Awesome teacher! I've never leared so much in a class. Now don't get me wrong, he doesn't give you grades for free, you earn what you get. But he if you just listen a little, you will understand with no problem.

The subject matter is not the easiest, but Mr. Roberts does very well in providing analogies to help the student identify the concepts. I also applaud his ability to provide an almost perfect classroom lecture feel, through online presentations.

Professor Roberts taught a on-line course with classroom exam reviews. Mr. Roberts is the Professor's Professor. Simply outstanding teaching technique in all aspects.

Mr. Roberts takes the time to help his students understand the course material. He provides all of his lectures on a CD so that you may learn the material in the comfort of your own home. Although the material was difficult at times, his teaching methods help you to better understand. Take him!

Took class online after sitting through 201 last summer. VERY helpful, very realistic (there IS life outside the classroom), reasonably easy, if you put some time into it. Let's you take quizzes over and over again, so no reason not to get full points! Participate in discussions (extra credit)!!!

Great professor. Highly recommend his online class and the CD he offers in addition because this information is very helpful. Explains the material in ways everyone can understand. Also, he is very responsive and eager to help.

Professor Roberts on-line course is simply outstanding. Mr Roberts is the "EXPERT" at creating Multi-Media courseware for on-line instruction. He provided a Multi-Media CD so students with slower on-line connection speeds could utilize the CD instead of downloading material. "FANTASTIC COURSE".

Mr. ROberts was a great teacher to have. I almost dropped the class when I found out it was delduca teaching, but I am glad I didn't. The online as[ect of the course was great. We should have more classes like this. Thank you Mr Roberts for a great semester.

Mr. Roberts is the best ECO teacher. I loved him so much for ECO 201 that I had to have him for ECO 202. You will definently learn a lot from Mr. Roberts and he is always willing to help you understand the material.

Good course. Don't agree with the way the Blackboard is used for exams. Our class average on Exams was pretty low. Maybe more in house testing.

After having taken several online classes from both U of MD and Strayer, this is by far the best class: excellent instruction & instructor; well-prepared material. The pace was a bit erratic; very easy weeks followed by overload. Overall: great!

Absolutely incredible lectures and multimedia prepared for the students... He clearly invests a lot of time and effort into providing everything possible to help his students learn. Economics is not my thing, but he made it interesting.

Mr. Roberts made economics easier than I thought it would be. I enjoyed his online and in class lectures. He answered my online questions quickly. I was more than happy to take his online 202 course.

You will be required to write to research papers. they each count 10% of your final grade. 3 test each counting 10%. the rest is from quiz grades that you can retake over and over until you get the perfect score. Also gives extra credit if you participate on the discussion boards.

This teacher is the best. His multimedia cd is the best thing ever for this class. You can retake his tests 100 times to get a perfect score, tests are difficult, many did not do well, but he gives lots of extra credit, and if you work hard you'll do well. He doesnt like students who takes the class just to pass, he wants students who want to learn

Mr.Robert's was a great teacher, he answers all sorts of questions and puts students at ease. He is helpful and made econimics....which I was not interested in seem not only interesting, but easier than I thought. I would recommend him to anyone and thank him for all his help. :)

Mr. Roberts is a great teacher. He provides awesome multimedia lectures for his online classes, and is very responsive to his students. He tells a lot of interesting stories about real-world situations and then relates that back to the (sometimes boring) subject matter. Great teacher, always willing to help, wants his students to succeed.

Prof. Roberts is a very understanding prof. If he see that you are trying your best he will work with you. Just make sure if you take his online class you participate in "DB". If I needed to take Eco 202 I will be glad to have him as a Prof again.

His online class is very easy. He puts up quizzes which you can take as many times as you want while they're open on blackboard. It will tell you if you answer is correct or wrong, but will not give you the correct one if you are wrong. Very nice guy. Plan on taking 201 with him as well.

his online class is very oriented and laid out pretty well. for online he responds quickly and his reviews are a major help

Prof Roberts is the most helpful professor I have ever had. He will bend over backwards to make sure you understand the text. I took his class online and must say that the book was a waste. If you are taking him online save the money because he has a website with all of the info you need.

This professor really wants us to understand the material and is very flexible. I took an evening section of the class and he treated it like an adult class!

I thought his online class was good. He is a good teacher and cares about the material. He uses examples that help to understand material. He created a CD with material on it. I've never had a teacher that put that much effort into the work. Would recommend him.

He is very helpful. If takn it hybrid, don't bother 2 buy the book. online stuff is all u need. beware his online will make u fall asleep. monotone. but great teacher. i took hybrid, but better 2 take online only cause u are able 2 go 2 class but aren't obligated 2.

No need to buy the book just listen to the take home lectures, and review the quiz material.

Mr. Roberts is a great teacher to have for online economics. The take home lectures are clear and easy to understand and follow. He gives enough time to take the quizzes. He is there if you have any questions, but because of the way he designed the information you will not need much help. Just remind me to open quizzes and closing dates.

Cool guy. His Hybrid classes are awesome. Good way to learn. This guy is hardcore in Economics. He knows his stuff.

Easy course, I made A's on all quizes, forgot to do the paper, and barely passed the exams and still managed a C. Could you imagine what I could of done if I had tried.

It's been a very long time since I've attended school. I was very nervous about taking my first online class and nearly drop it. But he made me feel comfortable and he understood. His review meetings were a great help. Always answered any questions until you understood the answer. I'd recommended him to anyone who is willing to try and achieve.

he is a great teacher, he gives you plenty of opportunity to pass his class. He has take home lectures which is helpful when you are not able to attend class. He gives extra credits which is a kudos because we always need that! His teaching style is great because he gives out handouts and gives a lot of examples to help to understand the class

Multiple attempts at the quizzes were wonderful. Also test 1 and test 1b, where he chooses the highest of the two scores was great. Very nice instructor. He also gave a CD with take home lectures in case you missed class.

Mr. Roberts will do anything to make help his students pass. He loves gettting debates started and loves to make his students think. He gives extra credit to his Hybrid students for each class attended - I would recommend taking his Hybrid class, its easier to get a better grade. He makes sure you actually understand the information!

He is the best of all teachers ever taken, if you fail his class you are just plain dumb. All his quizzes and exams are online-open book. Teaching style is understandable and easy to follow!

The professor brings economics into the realm of what matters in current events. The weekly lectures are designed to help you understand the material and for thought provoking questions. He has take home audio/slide lectures in case you miss a class but you will learn more by attending. Highly Recommend.

book is not necessary for this course with the take-home lectures.

Jim Roberts is an excellent teacher. Before I enrolled I dreaded taking ECO 202, but at the end, I fully enjoyed the course and felt that I learned a lot. I would recommend him any time! I took the class online, and his take home lectures on BB or CD that he will burn for you, was far more helpful than the textbook. In fact, I never used the book.

I took his online class and his assignments and tests were really hard. He's a great guy to work with if you are having a hard time or need to turn something in late. He's really good to work with.

A really fantastic teacher, if you're willing to take the time to work for your grade. His lectures are interesting and easy to understand, and he is extremely knowledgeable about his field of study. Not an easy A or B class, but when you finish, you will actually have learned something.

This was a great class. I would not suggest taking this class online since the material can be hard. Professor Roberts is a great teacher and he does a great job of explaining the course material. He is always willing to help out his students.

He was a hottie back in the day! Now not too bad! He is very helpful and answers all your questions. He likes to see students succeed so if you have problems, tell him! I took his hybrid course and attendence just gets you a better grade. He gives you some answers if you attend the week b4 a test.

Taking Macroeconomics with Mr. Roberts has solidified my intent to major in Economics.

His Hybrid class was a breeze! I'm not good at online classes so being there to have him go over things I wouldn't have picked up by reading the book was great. His diagrams and examples are very helpful. It is near impossible to get anything below a B in this class.

Professor Roberts is one of the best Econ teachers at TCC. The online class was a bit harder than the average class at TCC but he gives you plenty of chances to get the A (it is your fault if you don't take advantage of this). If you truly take the class seriously it will prepare you for when you finally transfer to a 4 year university.

I enjoyed the subject and felt that Mr. Roberts did a good job teaching the subject matter. His take home lectures were very thorough but I wish the hybrid course was offered over the summer. I would not hesitate to take another ECO course with Mr. Roberts teaching it, but will definitely go hybrid next time.

Very passionate about economic awareness. Able to bring the theories and examples to a very "down to earth" and easy to understand use. Very organized and thorough. Lectures are top of the line.

Professor Roberts was a great teacher. He is really understanding and is always willing to help you out if you are having trouble understanding a concept or assignment. He is also very lenient when it comes to turning assignments in late which is helpful, especially when it comes to summer courses.

Although the language and content was new, I really enjoyed this class. I certainly soaked up as much information as I could. It was like learning a new language. Dr. Roberts was very thorough in his instructions, but I failed to meet the requirements due the intense Summer schedule. I look forward to taking his Macroeconomics class next semester.

Requires 2-3 quizzes to be completed in a week. also gives total of 6 exams during the semester, including the final. very heavy workload. quizes are fill in the blank, so u spend hours looking for one word,that has several different meanings.

excellent teacher. i hardly read my book and got an A. you just need to learn how his class works. i took him online and you take quizzes throughout the semester and have multiple attempts.

One of the best professors Ive ever had. He knows his material & knows how to teach it. He gives multiple tries for both quizzes and tests, which is good because both are very hard. The "online" lectures are available for all of his students, & they are great. The only way you wont get an A is to not do the work or not ask for help if you need it

I took Prof. Roberts for Macroeconomics, then returned for Microeconomics. He is extremely knowledgeable and excited about the material that he teaches. I HIGHLY recommend Roberts for either class, but you would be better off to take the Hybrid version than the strictly online version because you're missing out not attending the lectures.

What an uplifting professor. He puts the material out there & treats us as "ADULTS" AMAZING!I was an on line student and still attended any class that I wanted.He opens class to all students. His test reviews help a lot. Although quizzes/tests were open book/notes, don't let that fool you.They were not easy. Certainly recommend Pro. Roberts!

Took first ECO strictly online, and second as a Hybrid class (both with Prof. Roberts). TRUST ME, take the Hybrid-version. He is extremely helpful, but his tests are very difficult. Prof. Roberts is very passionate about the subject, so it helps to make a boring (in my opinion) class palatable and dare I even say interesting?

An excellent instructor! If you fail it is because YOU put forth NO effort. His online lectures are very clear and word for word detailed. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and shares his expertise. If you need assistance he is always available my email or office hours. Very personable and made a very difficult subject fun and challenging.

I also took Hybrid ECO 201-Prof Roberts. He is extremely knowledgeable & very personable. Do the reading, listen to his on-line lectures & in class he will reinerate it all. If you need any help, he always makes himself available by office hours or email. He offers lots of learning opportunity, & makes a difficult subject fun to learn. A+++ Awesome

I have taken this class twice to better my GPA. Professor Roberts is very helpful and also allows his online students to sit in his hybrid lectures.He is very willing to help when you ask and he is very knowledgable and passionate about teaching and economics. Highly recommend this professor to anyone.

Macroeconomics: Took hybrid. He is GREAT lecturer. His online materials are very polished and well organized. Each chapter has online quiz. Multiple attempts allowed, highest score is recorded. Online openbook exam every three chapters or so. Two different exams. Keep highest score of the two. 3 or 4 discussion boards (mini-papers). No regrets!

Professor Roberts was GREAT! Econ was a hard subject for me to grasp but he stood by me and it also helps that you can take each quiz as many times as you need. I took the class online and got an A.

Took the hybrid class and found it a breeze. There's a ton of chance for extra credit, and everything but the tests are easy to get A's on. He's a very good lecturer as well and is very engaging when explaining the sometimes dry concepts behind Microeconomics.

I absolutely love Mr. Roberts! He is one of the greatest professor a student can ever ask for. He is very considerate and helpful. The subj is not a breeze and his test are pretty challenging but he gives extra credits and he lets you take the quizzes as many times as needed. Fantastic economics teacher. His explanations and notes are crystal clear, and he gives a very manageable amount of work. The only reason you shouldn't get an A in the class is you really struggle with the material, since he lets you take the quizzes over and over, and gives you two tries at each test.

Mr. Roberts is an awesome teacher! He's very open with students and his notes and lectures are clear. You can take the quizzes as many times as needed, and there's tons of extra credit, so even though the tests are challenging, you have plenty of safety. Taking him again for ECO 202!

Mr. Roberts is so helpful. He made the course so clear by having students apply macroeconomics concepts to our everyday life. He is very prompt at responding to email. He definitely wants his students to understand.

Lets you take tests many times, exams 2 times this is because the quiz & tests are extremely hard! Tough subject if you dont read the book, you wont pass. I think he might be better than the other eco teachers. He is available to help and responds quick to emails. He offers extra credit and I suggest you do it all, trust me you will need it!

Took the online macroeconomics and it was great! There are lots of deadlines to keep up on but none are unreasonable. The book is an easy read and he's always trying to make it as interesting as possible. Great teacher! Give lots of chances for extra credit (I didn't even have to take the final) but the tests are hard so he grades on a curve

Took online for both 201 and 202. As many times to take quizzes as you need before deadline. 2 chances to take tests where lowest score is dropped with a good amount of questions coming from the quizzes. Timely responses on emails. Do extra work and get extra credit up to a full test grade. Stay on top of work and get an A.

Class was an easy class but the he is not very helpful and takes a long time to get back to you.

I had Prof Roberts for both 201 and 202 online. Yes you can take the quizzes as many times as you want but most of the time this is not needed. Some material was hard to grasp but the online lectures made it easy to go back and replay what parts may have been missed. Replies to questions quickly. Would recommend.

I took both ECO 201 and 202.( Took online but you can still attend class for hybrid course. ) He was very helpful. Economics itself isn't easy subject so I had to spend a lot of time but as long as you work for it, you'll get A.

Professor Roberts is very knowledgable. The subject is not easy, but he is very willing to help. There are extra credit discussion boards. You get two tries on exams. You can take quizzes unlimited times until their due date. You can attend his class session for points, but it isn't mandatory. You need the book! It is helpful. MyEconlab is easy.

I took Mr. Roberts as a hybrid Econ class. Basically, if you do all of your quizzes on time which you take at home and show up for class, you'll pass It's not a difficult class but you just have to remember to do all the assignments

Mr. Roberts was very clear about the online course from day 1. There's a quiz every chapter which you have unlimited attempts up to the due date and there's 3 exams which can be taken twice. Only the highest scores counted towards your grade. For the online course there were 4 discussion boards on various topics. Plus there's chances for EC!

He is one cool dude. Very knowledgeable guy. Just got word from friends that academic deans are trolling this website. Not sure what that means given this website is for student opinions. I am sticking with Roberts.

This is my second economics class with Professor Roberts. He has taken a good amount of time helping me during office hours since I'm an online student. I do not suggest taking his classes via online. He is much better in person and everything makes sense once he explains it.

Online. weekly reading w/ questions (easy 70-90 mult choice) and quiz (20-25 mult choice). Quiz q's were nothing like the reading q's. 4 discussions. They're sort of long but a thorough response gets the best grade. He is very responsive and connects well with students even though it's over the computer.

Prof. Roberts is knowledgeable, enjoys making economics relatable and answers questions quickly. Be prepared because these are graph heavy classes. You have to put in the work but he gives PLENTY of opportunity for extra credit. Keep pace and keep up with reading and writing assignments. I am a 30+ year old student and I kept up just fine.

Professor Roberts was a great professor. Very informative and didn't give a crazy work load. Lots of extra credit opportunities. He was engaging and caring. Very open to questions and always helped when needed. I definitely Recommend.

Jim Roberts is literally the best prof for economics. Yes, economics can be a challenging subject at times but he explains everything very clearly. He will answer any question and will even slow down to help people understand. Unlike other prof's from TCC Mr. Roberts will never make you feel incompetent for getting an answer wrong.

I loved having Prof Roberts as a professor! Super nice, he is really understanding when it comes to your situations and is willing to reopen assignments or take them late, all you have to do is ASK him- and i would recommend to ask in-person because he does not respond to emails as quickly or at all sometimes.

Prof was great, but the homework was awful. So many reading modules that had 70 concepts plus the quizzes afterwards always took me so long it was frustrating. thankfully he was very understanding and re opened them after being really late. Come to class or its a -10 points. Exams are take home and you have a week to complete it so thats a plus

Professor Roberts has insightful feedback that helped me understand macroeconomics. While the volume of homework assigned may seem daunting, it's fairly easy. He would also try to have the class engage a little more by doing jeopardy before we had a test.

This was the worst course I have ever taken, seriously. This was by no fault of the professor, however. He's got great feedback and his grading criteria is very clear. He's accountable and will usually quickly fix and admit to mistakes he makes in class. Great professor, awful subject.

Professor Roberts is understanding and engaging. The workload is manageable, with opportunities for extra credit. unstuck ai was a helpful study tool alongside the free textbook.

I found Mr. Roberts lectures to be mostly enjoyable, and I would say I enjoyed this class for the most part. Homework and reading assignments are pretty tedious but still manageable.

Great class overall probably one of the best professors I've been lucky enough to have a class with. Would take 4 straight years of his classes
