He's an easy professor to pass, and a genuinely cool guy that does his job. He thoroughly explains the material and what he wants, gives students many opportunities for extra credit. Just take notes, review them and you should be fine. There's also a mandatory presentation project.

Everyone says he is an easy A but lets be for real, you have to study to pass the class. Yes he makes the work interesting but you still have to study. He is very funny, has his own sense of style and is sadly married lol. Besides that he tells you when your getting a pop quiz, theres a final he will help with that and the final project is easy.

Amazing teacher. Very well respected by students as he respects them. As long as you do the work, you will see good grades. He doesn't over stuff information, just teaches what will be on the final. He gives tests, but also offers unlimited extra credit which goes on the final grade so as long as you put the effort you will succeed.

If you have to take art history I HIGHLY recommend taking prof. Jenkins. He gave three projects that's all the homework you'll have. When you first see him you'll be like "oh my gosh this guy is a joke" but I'm telling you, you will LOVE his class. He does give quizzes a lot but just pay attention and hes an easy A. Probably the easiest teacher for this course. All you have to do is take notes and study them to pass the test and he gives you the opportunity to get extra credit and higher than 100 on a test. Hes very spiritual and inspirational but not like shoving a religion down your throat. If you have this class take him.

Amazing teacher, you can always engage in his class and talk and makes everything. The only thing is that you have like 3 projects , 1 of them you do have to travel but it's easy projects. The test are easy to be honest just take notes when he writes it on the board, also if you receive more than 100 on a test he uses the extra points for low test.

He goes over all the material thoroughly in every lecture and the class before a test he reviews what will be on the test. DO THE PROJECT, IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW HORRIBLE IT IS! You will not pass the class if you don't do the project. You don't have to be Basquiat, just show that you put thought and originality into it. His lectures are interesting.

if I had the opportunity I would definitely take prof. jenkins class again. His lectures are very easy to understand and even when you don't understand he's more than happy to go over the material if you do. my main piece of advice take very diligent notes and do ALL assignments they're really easy and try to be on time so you don't miss anything.

He is an art professor and a very historic instructor. Also his talents are very dominant to teach students for different types of art and basic designs. Sometimes, he gives extra credit to go outside of the box like the Botanical Garden in Brooklyn and the Brooklyn museum in Washington Ave. But, it was the greatest class that I'm willing to make.

I would love to take Art 100 with professor Jenkins again. This man teaches you things you never knew before. He makes the class very intresting and you wouldn't want to miss a class. Hes very funny. And he's very very caring about his students. All you have to do is the quiz (which are not hard at all) all you need to do is study.

DOPEST teacher at MEC by FAR! I wish I had him for ALL my subjects. Very stylish, fascinating lecturer who makes anything SUPER INTERESTING. Even though tests were all fill-ins, you would know it all because he relays the material very well, and when you study, it's painless. Never any surprises. Plus, he gives you many extra credit opportunities.

This way by far the easiest class I've taken. He will upload weekly assignments (which is outlined in the syllabus) and they're fairly easy to complete. Everything is based on the textbook, so if you have it you'll be good. If you do the work, the midterm and final exam will be extremely easy.

Very respectful, his only downfall is him not grading on time and answering emails on time as well otherwise he's fun and gives you time to make up work but don't take too long to do it because points would start deducting.

Easiest class ever

Low effort is required to pass this class. Professor Jenkins work is straightforward with it all being posted on the syllabus. Overall there were 3 assignments, each being simple and easy as well as having a long period of time to complete them. He is an extremely lenient grader and will probably pass you if you just send an email saying hello.

When I started in Art class I thought I wouldn't like it, but Professor Jenkins inspired me to learn more about Art and identify art and history from different countries. He is an excellent Professor,very positive professor.
