I don't understand how he gets such good reviews on ratemyprofs. I took one of his classes and over half of the students failed his tests consistently. You can know the material inside and out and still fail because his tests are unnecessarily tricky and misleading. Maybe he gets off on that...not sure, but look elsewhere.

He's very tricky with his tests. You could master the material he teaches but it does you no good for his tests. He words the questions so different from the way he taught the material that I think even the SI leader would be confused on what he's asking. The worst part is that he puts answers for every possible mistake you can make.

Ochem in general is hard, can't blame Dr. Rogers for that. I think he is very good about emphasizing what will be on tests from his "cheesy" notes as he calls it (which are extremely helpful btw).
