There is a language barrier (I think he is Vietnamese??) but he was very helpful and would take the time to go over something 5 times if you needed him to do so. His tests were a breeze and homework was optional.

I learned a lot from Mr. Vicente. I wish he was teaching College Algebra.

I took this class online. He is quick to respond to emails. Very helpful. Lets you know exactly what he expects. He doesn't throw curveballs. I made my first A in algebra. I did have to spend hours studying but he was not tricky with questions on the tests. So if you study the book and Math XL you'll do fine.

All work done on MathXl and 2-3 unit tests depending on how fast your class is as a whole. Took this online class during summer 2. You will have to purchase Math XL which is where homework will be done. This is time consuming. Their is 3 exams. 2 of them have to be taken at either el centro or any dcccd school. The third is a take-home exam. The final exam must be taken at el centro and it was a multiple choice exam. I hate math, this course was tough. My daughter said it was hard BUT she got a B. I suck so bad at math and my tests scores were low. BUT I PASSED! He's a great teacher and honestly it was just me. The tests have to be taken at the school, but the homework is online, with online lectures. Take him. BE SURE TO STUDY PRACTICE TESTS that he provides!

i love mr vicente! hes funny, nice and i love his accent. he really wants us to know the stuff even though math 1332 is the easiest math class ever. he will help you individually if you need it. all our work was on mymathlab and you have to pay $110 for access which sucks but it has the online book with it.

I took Mr. V's math1314 class for fall 2016 and have to say it has been grate. There was about 20 something hw assignments on mymathlab and 4 exams. Exams have to he taken on campus ( I was an online student) but they are not to difficult. If your not to great at math I would really suggest him because he will actually help you.

You have 4 test. 3 You have to go to campus to take and 1 is online by the software you have to buy 70.00 If you do not buy the software you will not pass the class. 1 project and about 20 textbook problems . All given at beginning of the semester work at own pace. Gives an extra credit option for 10 points. Easy to get an A in. Best professor!

I LOVED, this teacher, I was NEVER any good at math and he made it super simple and impossible to fail. Everything was done through Pearson and although you don't need to buy the textbook, you do need the access code. He made math easy and simple to understand and offered tons of easy extra credit. I had taken Mr. V's 1314 class in 2016 and am currently taking calculus 2. My current professor always says to always remember the basics and Mr. V taught us well! Really great guy and also helped me get into my honor society. I would def recommend him for any mathematics course.

I took Math online with Mr. Vicente during summer. 1. Everything is very clear. You have to buy the code to do the homework and online tests , but you have plenty of time to finish the homework and the other assignments before the due date. Test are easy and the tests on campus are easy too. I highly recommend taking his class.

I took Mr. Vicente to take Math after dropping it due to it being too hard, however this teacher goes above and beyond to record the lectures and have them available for students to use while doing the homework on MyMath lab.

I took this class as a Winter Minimester and it was the easiest math class I have ever taken. Professor Vicente will respond promptly to emails and his lectures are very easy to understand. A friend recommended Prof. Vicente to me and I am so glad she did! He has all the recorded lectures available to watch. If you watch them and take notes, you will know what you are doing when it comes to the classwork and exams. Very easy and it is a self-paced class, which I really like. I just took his MATH 1350 and will be taking his MATH 1351.

Easily one of the best courses I've taken. He explains everything in an easy-to-understand way. Lectures are not mandatory, and he posts virtual lectures for you to watch in case you miss class. The course has 4 exams, the first 2 being in person with 1 attempt and the next 2 as virtual tests with 3 attempts. Exam reviews are very similar to tests.

I took Professor Vicente for 1350 and 1351. I enjoyed the class. You get unlimited attempts on the homework and 3 attempts on the exams. He opened the whole class at the beginning of the semester which I love. Would take him in the future.

Prof. Vicente is an excellent choice! If you need help, he's available. I took this class online; ALL homework assignments and exams are due at the end of the semester, accessible on Pearson MyLab. There are a total of 4 exams, with 3 attempts each. Exams are NOT proctored and don't use lockdown browsers.

Vicente is one of the best professors I've had. Online Calculus 3 had roughly 16 homework assignments and 3 tests and final; The tests are similar to reviews, and all the assignments could be done anytime until the end of the semester. Most of my learning was through video or "Help Me Solve This" in mymathlab, but I found I learned a lot from both.

I learned a lot from his class. Prof Vicente explains and breaks down complex Math concepts that is reasonably easy to follow and understand. He is quick to reply to email and always available when I need help. Highly recommended.

Loved this teacher gave the homework and exams everything was due at the end of class no monitored unnecessary testing. One of the easiest teachers Ive had at all in Dallas college this is the way it should be stress free! Wonder if he does anatomy. Thank you more students need stress free classes really teachers sometimes forget to show compassion

Prof. Vicente has gone above and beyond for me. I mentioned to him that I needed to practice more on logarithms before I scheduled my first exam. I asked if he had any resources he could recommend? He did and provided them to me. At the beginning of the next class he presented me with a Calculus book that I could keep. Above and beyond 11/10!!!

I couldn't have done it if Mr. Vicente wasn't my professor. He's the definition of "not all hero wear capes".

Did his 8-week online class. Easiest class ever. All assignments, quizzes, and exams are due on the last day of class. This is a do at your own pace class. With this being basic Algebra, ill be honest, I did most assignments and exams in the last 2 weeks of class. Exams are lockdown, but unproctored. Take him no question!

Professor Vicente's MATH1350 is a great online class. The recorded lectures and unlimited homework attempts make it easy to succeed. unstuck study was super helpful for exam prep.

Mr. Jimmy Vicente was by far the best professor one could ever have. He answers emails fast and is very understanding when you ask questions. His lectures are easy to follow, and his way of explaining math makes it look effortless. I have learned that math is truly easy with the correct professor. I recommend him 1000% to anyone.

This professor is by far my favorite! He made taking college algebra as seamless as possible. The homework was very easy and I genuinely enjoyed doing the work for his class. I wish he taught all math courses, because he explained the concepts as simple as possible.

I took both pre calc and calc 1 with him. Obtained near perfect/perfect scores, even as one of our 4 exams were on campus, he still asked exactly what he said he would. So, if you work hard and prepare your notes well, you can ace all the exams but you need to take good notes from the homework and DO EACH QUESTION TWICE, as the concept changes!
