she is a good teacher but since she is into her accounting career deeply, she requires higher standard than the average standard. I recommend this teacher only for student who really into accounting.

Professor Trone teaches a great course for business and non-business students. Her outline is clear, organized, and to-the-point. Her CPA experience provides great insight into the business world and encourages students who are looking to enter it.

She is the best teacher that i have ever had in my entire life!!! she definately knows her stuff- duh!!! she has CPA written all over her.... all i have to say is- take her class if you want to learn- she may not be easy, but shes more helpful than a shoe horn.

She explains the material very fast and clear but she expects a lot from her students. Accounting is a very difficult subject and she does not make it any easier for us and she gives you very hard quizzes. You have to work your ass off to pass her class or else you will fail.

Main thing, show up to class. Without her lecture, it is going to be tough to understand accounting. She explains the material very well. Even though she moves fast, all you have to do is speak up and ask what you have missed. Easy to pass, but not by a breeze.

She is nice and approachable. She explains everything and is very clear. The class is difficult and it is suppose to be so quit complaining. In addition she helped make this class online which is nice but then again you don't ever get to see her. too bad since she is pretty easy on the eyes. =)

Wonderful Personality and very helpful!

She can be kind of sarcastic and rude. She made sure I worked for that A but there were a few occassions that she didnt have answers for questions asked.

I took both her classes. If you do you're homework, read the book and attend class you are going to pass the class. She explains everything and she is very nice and approchable. I highly recommend her class.

If you have some background in business it will be easy but you WILL have to read PRIOR to class if you want to have an A or a B. Offers a lot of extra credit. Quizes are given but the midterm is where your grade is mainly based on. She is extremely helpful if you see her during her office hours. She definately knows what she is talking about.

Just took the last test today. Trone sets the bar for teaching. She is dedicated and willing to help out whenever she can. She knows what she is talking about. It is not an easy class, but if you work you will get an A. I got an A in acct 101 and I still wish I took her for 101. One of the best teachers I have had. Thanks Trone!!!!

Make sure to make your appointment ASAP for exams at the testing center. It's limited - first come first serve...As for the class, Mrs. Trone is awesome! The whole online class through blackboard was surprisingly great and not boring! A LOT of work and reading but there were a lot of useful interactive tools online to help understand the material.

Great teacher. Offers a lot of extra credit that can really boost your grade. There is a lot of work in the class, so my only advice for future online students, do NOT fall behind and keep up on what is due, as there is something due almost everyday. When in doubt, there is probably something due tonight.

Very difficult class I wish I had taken it in a class rather than online. Anyways professor was great and was always making herself available to help us. The group project was a questionable because the class was online. I highly recommend taking her!

she will teach you everything you need to know and do a great job doing that. There are quite a few assignments but Bottom line is you NEED to do ALL your assignments, those points add up! Trust me if you don't do them you're not going to get a good grade. Material is a lot easier than people say, you just have to focus and make time for it.

I changed my major from bio-chem to accounting. The first day I met Mrs Trone I knew that I chose the right one. She inspired me and I felt in love with accounting after the first clas. Trone teaches you all steps and she motivates students to succedd. Work hard and do hw carefully. You will get A+. She is nice and helpful. She is successful woman.

She is a good teacher. Loves what she does and explains everything in detail. She also teaches an online class which is the exact same thing. All of her work is online(hw,quizzes,notes) Class is easy to pass if you understand the subject if you don't she will try her best to explain it but subject is extremely difficult.

I had trone for both financial and managerial accounting. She is an amazing professor! And inspired me to continue with my accounting degree. Gives a lot of extra credit so make sure you take advantage of that. Class was not an easy A but not too hard to get an A as long as you study hard and do all your assignments!

One of my fav professors! Offers lots of extra credit opportunities. Her lectures are clear and extremely helpful. She is the reason why I chose accounting as my major. Good notes/ powerpoints. You get to use one tip sheet per weekly quiz one side only, and double sided for a test. Homework is pretty easy and straight forward. Unlimited tries.

Trone is amazing! I took her online 10 week course. Her class is HARD and requires A LOT of time and studying and she makes that very clear from the beginning. The setup of the course is extremely structured and she offers TONS OF EC! If you put in the work & do HW, EC, Quizzes (even do just average on the Midterm/Final) youll have an A! Recommend!

Every now and again, I look my letter of recommendation from Professor Trone, and I always tear up. She is someone who is so intelligent, strong, and successful, I only wish I had taken all my accounting courses with her. I hope everyone can have the opportunity to learn from her as I did. First of all, she is great professor who is extremely passionate, professional and motivated. Second, her lectures are well-prepared and clear. Make sure you attend class regularly to catch up her lecture. Finally, she really take care of her students and give credits so fair.

Easily one of my favorite professors. This course is not a walk in the park; you must put in the effort. It is very easy to earn a B and somewhat easy to earn an A. She gives a lot of extra credit, so take advantage of every opportunity. To succeed, study and take notes on the Interactive Presentations. She's always there for you. Take her!

I took the 8 week online course and it was a challenge - Lots of material to cover in such a short amount of time (this was expected). However, Professor is very responsive and helpful. You can tell she genuinely cares about the success of her student. As long as you read and do the assignments you will pass. She also offers lots of extra credit!

She's honestly very amazing. She makes sure the class work is clear and straight-forward. Her class is planned so perfectly all you have to do is make sure you do the assignments on time and pay attention to the concept videos. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities so there's no way you can fail if you do all the work on time.

I took Trone for my summer Act 101 class and it was a very fast paced class. She is extremely organized and gives you the material needed to pass the class. One of the best professors I have had. I did read the whole textbook which helped in understanding the material 100% . As long as you follow instructions, you should do well.

There's a lot of EC for ec. Chpt. DO IT! She's Great at replying back through email. She is understanding and does whatever she can to make sure she can help you with the course. Get ready to read and finish assignments before coming to class. The class is super organized and make sure to follow Professor's instructions because they are indeed helpful. Lots of extra credit and you are allowed to bring 1-paper of notes in the exams. Recommend taking this class if you are interested in accounting !!!

Professor Trone truly cares about her students. She customizes the course to fit her students' needs and she thoroughly explains everything so that there are no questions. I had her for remote instruction during COVID and she was the best. The way she structures her course is easy to handle. 10/10 would recommend. Your grade your effort.

I took her ACCT101 for 8 weeks, so the workload was heavy, 2 chapters each week plus a discussion board, all materials, homework, quizzes on Connect which you have to buy a textbook. She also gave many ways to get extra credit. She is an enthusiastic professor, easy to understand her lectures and has clear communication.

Professor Trone is amazing, and very accessible even if I took her online classes ( I took both Acct 101 and 102 with her). The material is pretty difficult so you really need to invest time, but it is amazing to have a resource like Prof. Trone when you get stuck on some of the topics. If I can take more classes with her, I would!

The course is difficult and there is a lot of homework and reading, but Professor Trone provides A LOT of resources, notes, guides, lecture videos, academic references and A LOT of extra credit to help you succeed and learn the material! She is a great professor and readily available to help you on any chapter, very responsive.

The class was absolutely amazing! She is very straight forward about the workload. Constantly posting announcements about updates and reminders. The math part of the class isn't that difficult. The extra credit assignments made me feel like I was getting extra credit to review which helped tremendously! I would highly recommend her as a teacher.

Lots of reading! I suggest reading the chapters first then watch her videos. After reading and watching the videos start doing the homework and the extra credit for each chapter. Practice and understand the lesson!Also try to find a buddy just in case you dont understand something you can ask that person, its also helpful for the project.

The 101 class is great! It's an online class but Prof. Trone schedules reviews that really helped out. It was a lot of work, but the extra credit she offered saved my grade. Just pay attention, do the reading and extra credit and it's done!

The professor is very nice and knows her stuff. HW due each week and 3 midterms. Acct 102 is a little more difficult than 101 since it is a mix of concepts and math but she provides examples and practice problems for each chapter. She also offers a lot of extra credit. I would recommend her for accounting, especially if you are a CSUF student.

Took her for both 101 and 102. Both online. Both topics are challenging but she made it so that it was much easier to understand. But you have to do the reading and the work! She offers tons of ex credit so do them! She also does live zoom reviews before exams. They are not mandatory but GO if you can! She knows her stuff and she really cares!

I took ACCT101 as an accelerated class and the assignments she gave was just right, it was 2 chapters per week but it's nothing crazy. She gave out extra credit points, and she is very attentive on students grades on making sure we're doing good in class. She also has a zoom meeting if want to tune in for questions or help. Take her class!

I just finished taking Professor Trone's Spring ACCT 102 course, and it was a great experience. She offers a good amount of extra credit, and she really cares about her students. I would highly recommend taking her class!

Prof. Jinhee was great! Workload was a lot because I did it in 8 weeks. SOO much easy extra credit. You have to pay for a textbook its around $60. Exams are proctored though which is annoying. I still ended the class with over 100%

I took an 8 weeks online class with her and the workload is manageable. Expect to have one discussion board, 2 lecture videos assignments, and 2 homework assignments each week for 2 chapters. She provides 2 extra credit assignments each week. Allowed one page of note for the multiple choice section, word problems section is open notes/textbook.

This professor gives 2 extra credit assignments per week. I took her 8 weeks ACCT 101 class and it wasn't so bad, the workload was reasonable. For midterm and final, there are 2 parts. One is multiple choice and one is word problems, one paper of notes is allowed for the multiple choice section, word problems part is open notes.

Prof Trone was amazing. The syllabus claims 24-30 hours a week, yet I spent maybe 2 hours a week and passed with 104%. If you read the textbook and do all the extra credit, it is almost impossible not to get an A. Two exams, which both had a study Zoom hosted by prof Trone. Overall very easy and doable class. Made accounting fun.
