I really like her.. she explains well and is very helpful... a really good teacher.. you'll come out really understanding the material..gives out prizes, she really wants you to do well

She is the coolest professor. She gives lots of notes in class and if you know them, you are set. If you show up to class, stay awake, and do her hw, you are golden.

love her class takin her next semester to theres some hw but its more like a review for wats on test very clear but the tests multiple choice does get tricky

She pretty much reads the text book and gives notes based on that. I don't know how knowledgable she is in the subject, but what she takes notes on she understands. As long as you read the textbook you should do fine

To say she is one of the best accounting profs dones't say much for the accounting departement. Lots of assignments and basically all are collected. Tests are crazyy hard. no scales. great teacher even though she just reads the book. If you have her keep her shees better than the other profs in the horriable dept.

Wonderful teacher and definately recomend her! Makes accounting easy and fun considoring its a course most business majors don't want to take. VERY FUNNY and gives out candy and cookies before class! She also allows a one page cheat sheet before every test including the final! Can be challenging though and makes you work for your A ...

Drusbosky is the best! I thought that I would hate accounting but she makes it interesting and fun. She always gives out prizes and brings in candy. Her class isn't necessarily easy, you definitely need to study to do well for her tests, but she doesn't try to trick you and really wants you to learn accounting. I'd definitely recommend her.

Fantastic teacher! I had her for both AC11 and 12 and would take any class she teaches. I was never interested in AC until I took her class. She is clear and makes the material so easy and understandible.I just wish she taught more classes at Fairfield.

Great teacher who is always helpful with the subject. If you have an opportunity to take her, do it because it might change your mind with Accounting. She really gets you involved with the material and interested with it by using real world examples.

Loved this class. Prof. Drusbosky is totally cool, starts class off sometimes with interesting current events and has a great sense of humor. Teaches from slideshows but never makes it boring. Tests aren't too bad, ALLOWS A 1 PAGE CHEAT SHEET, awesome. For once I really enjoyed learning about accounting!

Professor Drusbosky is great! I was dreading taking accounting but now I'm changing my major to it! She is so sweet and funny. Her tests can be hard but if you study and do the homework they're not too bad. Take her if at all possible!

Prof. D is a good model for an accounting teacher: Her class is challenging, but she gives students all the tools to succeed. She mainly uses powerpoint slides in class, but assigns HW every week and goes over it. You'll pay the price if you don't do the HW or work hard, but you'll learn a lot if you do.

Awesome and outgoing teacher. Projects her voice with can get to you on certain days. Powerpoint slides, hw each week but doesnt collect. Very informative and helpful. Tests are decently challenging but you need to study. Offers cheatsheets sometimes. If your a freshmen, shes a great intro accounting teacher!

Professor D is the best!! Easy going class lectures, usually a chapter per class. Tests can be tough but she is always available for help. You can email her at practically any time and she'll respond. Always has some good stories as well.

Prof D was by far the best Prof I had during my first semester at Fairfield. Her AC 11 class was great. Prof D is super clear with what you need to do to earn a good grade in her class but it is up to you to get it done! No long papers, few tests and a few projects. Homework is ungraded. If you need extra help she will help you. TAKE HER CLASS!

Took Prof D for AC 11 and again AC 12. AC 12 (Managerial) definitely a lot easier for me. Didn't collect hw at all. Hands out the slides. Tests not too hard. Gives a few EC opportunities. Gets back to you ASAP on email. Follow her directions exactly on everything, you'll do fine. Don't crack your knuckles or give her attitude. Awesome prof.

Professor D is awesome. Tests are hard but if you do the homework and read the chapter you should be fine. Show up to class and take notes and you should be fine. Her class fills up pretty quickly so if you get her consider yourself lucky. You can email her any time and she will reply super quickly.

Most of my friends told me they hated accounting and I couldn't see why. Professor Drusbosky makes it somehow fun, not to say that she doesn't make you work for a good grade.

She is literally the best. Okay, I was scared of her at first but she is so sweet! She has so much experience in the field of accounting and as a result some great stories. She does take attendance; you are only allowed two unexcused absences but going to class is very helpful and she brings food a lot of the times!

Professor D is the best! You will learn so much in her class. There is a semester long group project, but she is super clear on instructions and the way she grades. Exams are difficult if you do not read, but if you put the effort in and participate it is a great class.

The only class I really enjoy going to every week. She is super entertaining and makes you love accounting, because she always relates everything to real life examples. One midterm, one final, she allows you to have a cheat sheet with the formulas! If you can take her TAKE her!

GREAT teacher. Attendance is mandatory, but youll have no issue showing up. Professor D is a CPA and knows the subject very well. she breaks up her intense lectures with hilarious stories. You will have to work in this class, like all accounting classes, but Professor D will be there here to help. Take this woman.

It is hard to come across a professor that is like Drus. Lectures are fantastic. She prints out ppts for everyone. If you know the ppts and can do all the hw problems, you will excel (no pun intended) in accounting. Her projects are the hardest part of the class because she is meticulous about what she wants. She gives EC on tests & I love her.

The course may seem pretty difficult, but she teaches it so well. She gives out so many hints for tests (pay attention in class, she will let you know), so much extra credit, and candy.

She is the reason I switched from finance to accounting, an amazing person, made an 8am my favourite class IMAGINE, tries to make it fun, makes us all laugh, brings snacks to class, pay attention do the HW and you won't get below a B+. You will regret not taking her!!!

Best professor ever but the class itself is just so difficult. Extra credit is given by going to campus events. 2 major tests and a final on the last 3 chapters. Tests are really hard and their is a lot of work outside of class.

Intro to Financial Accounting was harder than I expected it to be, but Prof D makes it awesome. Brings candy to class, so supportive of her students, wants everyone to succeed. She makes what should be such a boring class and makes it infinity interesting. I am not the biggest fan of accounting, but she made me consider a major in it just because of how amazing of a teacher she is. It can be difficult at times, but it is worth it and I would take it again in a heartbeat.

Professor D is super good, she is super knowledgable, has engaging stories, and often pulls the news into her lessons. Every week you have about 2 hours of textbook homework and another 1-2 hours of WileyPlus assignments. She encourages getting involved and allows you to reach out for help. Highly recommend.

I am currently taking Prof D's 1011 course. She is absolutely my favorite professor this semester. Although I am not an accounting major, she makes learning accounting fun, interesting, and simple. It takes be roughly 1.5/2 hours to do homework. If I have a question I'll email her and she will reply in literally 5 minutes! Take Prof D!!

The best teacher I have ever had. A good amount of homework but I knew so much by the test that I didn't need to study for them. As a normally not so great student she was so inspirational and helpful. Lectures are so funny and she is my favorite. Made accounting so easy! also made our final so easy compared to our other tests which is so nice.

Prof D is the best teacher I have ever had. She took a subject I had no passion for and made me genuinely consider it for a career. She gives a ton of work but it is NOT busy work. Every assignment has a purpose and putting time into each assignment will pay off for you in the end. I've learned more in this class than any class I've ever taken.

Best professor out there for accounting

Genuinely one of the nicest professors at Fairfield. Her lectures are great as well, you can actually pay attention. Plenty of real life examples so we always knew why the different concepts were important. Homework for the tax class was a bit tedious, but learned a ton in the class. Would def recommend for accounting majors.

The absolute BEST accounting professor, definitely take her class if you get the chance! There is quite a bit of HW but it all is relevant and helps enhance your understanding of the course content. Prof D is a quality professor, she is knowledgeable and teaches thoroughly. In class, the lectures and activities we are engaged in are very helpful to understand accounting. Genuinely, this is the best professor I have ever taken here. She has the biggest heart and will do anything to make you laugh and succeed. She has 3 exams plus a final and two quizzes and a group project. Exams are easy and she gives u a note packet and as long as you study that, you're set for the test.

Most kind professor at Fairfield! Prof. D is a great teacher, accounting can be a tough course, but she does a great job of walking through it in a clear and digestible way, and then giving practice with good feedback to make sure your ready for the exams, which can tend to be a bit tough. Still, Prof. D is always accessible + an amazing professor.
